It has been amazing to work with Ryan from DOMO. This was our first time selling and we needed someone who could guide us well but also be be flexible with our terms. At every step of the process, Ryan laid down all the options and guided us through the options for us to make the best decisions. He has great knowledge and expertise for selling, buying and property management. He was available at every showing and answered all questions that we or the potential buyers had. Rob was incredible to work with. He partnered with our family and provided block-by-block expertise to help us understand the market and the different properties we were considering (to a depth much greater than other realtors we worked with in the past). He not only helped us identify properties that best fit our family, but proactively sought deals that were just coming on the market. Once we found a property we liked, he did an incredible job negotiating a deal and partnered with us each step of the way to navigate through the process to ensure that everything went smoothly (including many things that dont typically fall under the responsibilities of realtors). Ryan from the DOMO Group is now my realtor for life!I know may sound cheesy, but after years of dealing with disappointment from just about every realtor, both when buying and selling a home, I finally found someone who took the time to understand all of my needs, then worked diligently and creatively to find a place for us. Our first home buying experience could not have been more pleasant with Jennifer. She is amazing!!! Jennifer was extremely knowledgable of the areas we were looking into. She is fast, efficient and highly effective in listening and communicating with us. She was able to get us viewings when asked for, sometimes the day of. We called Ryan on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving - when everyone else was on holiday. We asked if anyone could show us around and he happily obliged us and gave us a vehicular tour during COVID on Friday (very short notice - just two days later). We had visited Manhattan beach before but only to the houses we saw on redfin and things didn’t make much sense. Ryan made sense of the entire city for us after two hours. It was great spending a few hours with him - a very pleasant, kind, helpful individual - who kindly laughed at all my bad jokes. We called him about a different listing on Sunday which already had an offer - he found out the scoop and let us know what we needed to do if we wanted the property - we sent in the offer on Tuesday and had an accepted offer by Thursday! Talk about fast/efficient/resourceful! The story continues because Ryan and his team have resources no matter which way the road turns! His team connected us to get a great mortgage rate but the nicest thing was that during the process he reassured us if we had any problems we have many other options to get the loan done on time. We were also referred to half a dozen architects - all of whom we have had elaborate conversation with and are ready to sign up with one.The South Bay is it’s own little world and Ryan and his team definitely made the transition a seamless one for us and did it with such an open heart. We first reached out to Greg when we started planning our move back from New York to Los Angeles and were considering buying a home in the South Bay area. While we had lived and worked in the area years ago, we weren’t as familiar with the real estate market and were looking for an expert opinion to help us determine which neighborhoods met our needs, and Greg did just that.As first-time home buyers, we were apprehensive about the whole real estate process, especially with the challenge of managing it from thousands of miles away. Greg’s IT background really came in handy, since most of the paperwork and information were sent digitally. Greg started by creating a personal listings page on his site and based on our feedback was able to narrow down options to the most relevant. Once we were in LA to look at properties in-person, we walked through about eight properties and by the end of the day were ready to put an offer on a home that met all of our criteria. During escrow, most forms could be signed digitally without the delays and complications of handling hardcopies, but Greg always made himself available to walk us through the contracts and answer questions, in spite of the time difference. He even took the time to show appraisers and inspectors around the property, and joined our initial meetings with architects and contractors since we were planning on having work done to the home.Once the transaction was complete, Greg still made sure to send us articles and news about our neighborhood (including a random crime incident) to make sure we felt comfortable with our purchase and were updated on the situation.Greg’s intimate knowledge of the area and dedication to his clients made for a quick, stress-free, and smooth home-buying experience. We first started looking at homes when our space got a little bit too crowded. We didnt know anything about buying a house, but it started all coming into fruition when we started working with a realtor. One of the biggest hurdles we had to overcome was the financial potion of it and really getting that under control. I first contemplated selling my home and buying a condo about three years ago and was referred to Greg Geilman by a trusted friend. Greg Geilman really went above and beyond the call of duty. He started working with me in June 2012 to sell my mothers house. I was the trustee of my mothers estate and I had never sold a house before. It was a very emotional time for me as I was selling the house because my mother passed. Donald McVicar gets it done. We recently purchased a home in Hermosa Beach and we worked with Donald McVicar as our real estate agent. This particular purchase was very much out of the ordinary. Certain parts of the property were in poor condition and we had some challenges in getting the lender to accept the condition. The seller also needed some flexibility with the escrow closing and his personal schedule. Donald was on point with every detail and communicated with us on every element of the transaction. Ive been buddies with Tamer Makeen of the DOMO group for years and Ive always known that hes an excellent human being and now after working with him I know hes an excellent realtor. Hes a local to the South Bay, grew up in town and still lives here. Usually looking for a new place feels like a chore, but my girlfriend and I were excited for touring with Tamer days. You meet him at his office and he has a folder with the info of every possibly location youd want and then he drives you around the beach towns showing you a variety of spots that fit your price range and priorities. You dont have to wait for the landlord or manager to meet at most of the locations, he just gets you in, which makes you feel less rushed when looking at places. He has stories and opinions about the pros and cons every neighborhood since he grew up here and has seen how theyve developed. And after he takes you around, you can go get and drink and a bite to eat with him and discuss your favorite places. Also, since weve moved in to our new places in Manhattan Beach that we love, hes brought us champagne, cigars, candles, coasters, a gift card to a local restaurant, and played a rousing game of HORSE at our new place complete with a basketball hoop, which was one of my girlfriends top priorities to have at our new home.

I bought a place in Playa del Rey with Donald as my agent. What can I say -- I looked at around 10 places and with his help was able to broaden my criteria from a 2 bedroom condo to a 3 bedroom. Donald was very helpful and patient with all the details and made sure I got as much as possible in buying a place. There was one place I really liked that someone elses offer was accepted but it fell out of escrow and Donald was on it! We submitted a solid offer and got accepted. He kept me informed through the whole process and answered all of my questions. I am so happy that I got to have Donald with great communication, and almost instant availability. Our experience with Greg was very rewarding (for us). It was a small deal but Greg gave it the consideration and attention as if it was a multi-million dollar contract. He went out of his way.
