Horrible, incompetent, and no ethics.My partner took his 13 month old laptop into Doctor PC for a basic hinge repair. Doctor PC required a payment up front before beginning repairs. He paid for the repair and was told the laptop would be ready in a couple of days.Over the next two months the repair folks broke the screen (they claim it magically went bad while they were working on the laptop). They tried to sell him a new screen with a 75% mark-up over retail! He provided them a screen at his cost. During this repair, they broke the frame for the screen and then destroyed the motherboard.He has asked repeatedly for his money back from the original repair ($134) and the cost to replace the computer with an identical model. Doctor PC staff originally dodged calls and then tried to argue that the computer was only worth a fraction of the replacement cost because it was broken. They claim no culpability in destroying the laptop and have been exceedingly hostile. They have also tried to blame the laptop itself for magically breaking without their involvement.This is a group of scam artists.UPDATE:The staff dodged calls for a week. When my partner finally reached them, he scheduled a time to pick up the broken computer. He went and the staff had left and shut up everything. When we finally reached staff after this, we found out that staff had shipped the computer off to somewhere (never clarified) for repairs we did not authorize.We asked to pick it up on a specific date. They agreed and then shipped the computer via Fed Ex to our home, still broken (screen fails to turn on).Staff continues to dodge calls but sends threatening emails staying we owe them for unauthroized repairs on a laptop which is significantly less functional now then when we turned it in to the company.This company is horrible. All I can figure is that the other reviews were paid for by people who never used the service.Unethical. Unprofessional. Incompetent

Pedro has been helping me for more than a year with a range of problems from computer viruses to printer connections, color images and the purchase of ancillary equipment. He knows more than anyone I have ever consulted, and he is very friendly and reasonably priced. I strongly recommend him to anyone with any kind of computer problem.

I took 2 notebooks in that have been giving me problems for a while. I was instantly given the most honest questions and answers that I wasnt even expecting. The fact that they were so honest to say that it will cost more to fix these notebooks than what they are worth today, I would most likely be better off buying new ones.So refreshing to see a business actually persuade you out of a job because they dont want you to waste your money.Then the icing on the cake was when the owner (didnt get her name) gave me some little fix it pieces and insisted they are free.I am glad this was the first shop I went to and I would recommend going here first with any computer issues you are having whether you are in Grass Valley or Auburn.

I have taken a couple of different problems here and I have been impressed with their service and professionalism. Most recently I had a laptop that was misbehaving and Cristina showed me an easy fix for free! I highly recommend this business.

Cold called these guys and they helped with me troubleshoot my internet connection. They were kind and courteous on the phone and told me what to tell the tech guy for my ISP. The information worked. Thank you!
