Dr Zhang was very thorough, professional, and informative. She explained my diagnosis and options in an easily understandable manor. She did my wifes cataract surgery four years ago and will do mine this spring.

I chose this ophthalmologist for my mother because of the good reviews. She went in for a first time visit. The doctor dilated her eyes and examine her, however, they never gave her any instructions about not driving and staying away from light. It is basic for the doctor to inform those things to a patient. She had no idea of this and drove a long way back to work, her vision blurred and worsened making her drive back extremely dangerous. I was shocked at how irresponsible this ophthalmologist was.

Everyone was very warm and welcoming. I checked in and paid my co pay. After a very short wait I was very pleased with the ease with which my assessments were conducted. Dr. Paul is one of the most kind, compassionate, caring, and intelligent human, and eye doctor.He is a master at his craft as I have had several procedures done by him. Even in urgent times he has been able to quickly see me to resolve the issue. The staff is super organized and friendly and has offices are very clean. I Trust them all with my vision needs. My husband was referred to another group by his optometrist but I was not happy with the physician he was referred to. My mother is a patient with DLV Vision and I was highly impressed with her treatment so I scheduled an appointment. My husband has NEVER been seen by a physician ( believe it or not) so I was a little leery about his first visit. I had to get cataract surgery in both eyes. They did a great job from the consult thru the surgery and even post surgery. That’s what I’ve been most impressed with is after the surgery there were several appointments afterward to make sure everything was okay. I even had one appointment 5 months after to remove the remaining scar tissue from the surgery. Professional Staff and amazing follow through!

Everyone is very nice and friendly at DLV. They seem to have the latest equipment which may explain their prices. After you see the doctor you see “your counselor” who tells you the prices and what is and is not covered by your insurance. I waited 30 minutes in the exam room for “my counselor” to talk to me. I walked out of the exam room, telling the person just outside the exam room door that I couldn’t wait any longer and for them to call me. She agreed. I never got the call back.

I had an emergency visit and the team was accommodating finding me a same day visit. They sent all the paperwork prior to the visit which made check in a breeze. The dr saw me promptly and assured me that my condition would clear with the medicine provided and to call if anything changed. This was my first visit toDLV and I will return for any issue related to my eyes going forward.

The post-exam consultation was very informative and helpful with formulating a treatment plan, addressing any financial issues and moving forward. They answered all my questions, clearly laying out in writing all my insurance and financial matters. They offer excellent financing terms for any out of pocket portions. I scheduled my procedures to occur a few weeks after my initial visit today, and I feel very confident putting my eyesight in the capable hands of Dr. Dougherty. This place does a number things well. I was impressed initially by even the chairs in the waiting room. Im used industrial 100 year old chairs. These are really nice.The testing procedure was pretty complete. The assistants are knowledgeable and well trained.I was particularly impressed with Dr. Markanian. She is an optometrist with the knowledge at a level that I would expect from an ophthalmologist. I have some experience in this field.At This point, they have my highest rating.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Zhang. I have Sjögren’s and extremely dry eyes.She listened carefully to my symptoms and history, was very professional and personable. I highly recommend DLV Vision for your eyemaintenance and health. I had an eye infection or thought I had an eye infection and after seeing three different doctors from Urgent care and Optometrist my symptoms got worse. I was treated for pink eye. I went to DLV Vision and was treated by Dr. Zhang. She said I did not have pink eye but inflammation of the eye. She prescribed steroids for my eyes and within days my eyes felt better and I could see much better. I truly Thank Dr. Zhang. The DLV Vision team is great. Everyone is professional and friendly. I went to DLV after a referral regarding my “narrow angles”. I had no idea what to expect, I was scared I would have a sudden eye emergency, and the laser procedure offered terrified me. However, Dr. Vosoghi and all staff were extremely patient and kind. He explained everything clearly and stayed to answer all my questions. The laser procedure turned out to be a piece of cake (only one zap each eye!) and I’m no longer at risk of a sudden eye emergency! I’m so glad I was referred and will recommend him to anyone who needs eye care in this specialty.

This is still a work in progress. That in itself is good. It shows tenacity on the part of the doctor. The doctor and most of his large staff have been very patient and friendly with only a couple of staff exceptions. It’s still too soon for a final opinion. It all takes months to see final results.

In October 2022 I had cataract surgery on both eyes. I had DLV correct my vision (I was very Nearsided) I had been wearing glasses or Contacts since I was 3yers old. I am 58, now. After the surgeries (one eye at a time, 2 weeks apart) I could see immediately. After a few months I noticed that my Right eye was not seeing as well (I was warned that this was a possibility) so at no cost, 6 months later DLV did a Laser Touch up now Both eyes are great! BTW - they also fixed my reading vision by adding multi focal lenses when they did the cataracts. No Readers or Bi-focal glasses.I recommend DLV.

I had decided to Google laser eye surgery on a whim and before I knew it I had an appt. Setup online, and then I was going in to see the Dr. First they ran some basic test which took all of just a few minutes. Then I was talking to a Dr who was explaining my options and how everything would happen. Once the Dr was finished and I had no more questions, the financial guy was at the door taking me into his office to explain the costs and more options, and now I have an appt for pre-op and op all within a couple weeks of my initial google search. I was diagnosed with a very painful and debilitating corneal ulcer. Unfortunately, it left a scar across my pupil obstructing my vision. Dr. Zhang, a corneal and lens specialist, professionally and expertly knew precisely what to do to remedy my corneal ulcer both in terms of relieving pain and restoring my vision. There were certain protocols to correct my diagnosis and she performed perfectly. DLV’s staff is friendly and I recommend DLV above any ophthalmologist.

Dr. Dougherty was recommended as the professional to do my Cateract surgeries. He did my left eye in 2015 and then my right eye in 2016. There were no problems with either surgery. With the artificial lenses my vision is clear and I no longer need to wear glasses for distance vision.Although the company is called Dougherty Laser Vision, they provide full service vision services. Every year I return to be tested for everything from diabetic neuropathy to Glaucoma and macular degeneration. I’m happy to say that at 72 years old, I still get a clean bill of health and have 20-20 vision.
