Usually “honest” and “car repair” don’t go hand in hand, but at D&K I have never felt pressured to agree to any services that weren’t necessary. I’ll be the first to admit I know nothing about cars, but I trust them wholeheartedly with mine! Pricing is upfront, work is fast, and I always feel like they genuinely care about their customers over just getting as much money from them as possible. Have been going to them for 2 cars now, and don’t plan on going anywhere else!

I requested an appointment with D&K after my car got broken into and had an appointment within a week. Angel worked with me and was very communicative about the entire process and was very transparent about what was going on with my car. They are very flexible and knowledgeable and will tell you honestly what they can and cant do for your car. I will definitely keep them in my book and recommend that you go to D&K for any repairs youll need.

I brought my 2017 Ram into D&K to get my exhaust manifolds fixed. When I stepped in, I was welcomed by the staff. They were very polite and professional. They gave me a good estimate. They service advisor kept me informed of the work while it was being completed. They also took the time to complete a thorough inspection of my vehicle. I then received a detailed email to include pictures of things that needed to be addressed.The work was completed in a day. The quality of work was outstanding. My truck sounded and ran much better.Before you go to the dealership, stop by at D&K. The prices and quality of work is much better.Thank you D&K for the outstanding service

My experience with D&K was excellent!! The guys in the front (Angel and Mike) are so nice, pleasant and professional. Made me feel completely at ease and I felt that I could trust them!!!! I asked a ton of question related and unrelated about my vehicle and vehicles in general and it was such a great conversation!!! Like my Dad said, a closed mouth doesn’t get fed. Ive taken my car in a few times now. The shop is spotless and the employees are so much more than that. On my recent trip I learned that my AC compressor was going out which, due to cost etc, basically rendered my car unfixable. I had to wait a little while, but they were so kind. We had nice conversation, even a couple of laughs.You know the saying, its not what people do, its how they make you feel.They treated me with the utmost respect at all times.I had forgotten that I had asked them to fill my window wash.I was so touched when I got in my car and realized they had remembered.They go above and beyond, without deviation!Most sincerely,Teresa

Great and positive experience at D&K Automotive Repair. Angel was the gentleman helping me out w my car issues. He was pleasant and the other lady was also nice that made me coffee very early in the morning. I had my Honda Civic in for a routine oil change and a diagnosis of my car. I had a lot of things that needed to be done due to my car being at 131K miles to be maintained. It took about a full day for things to be done. They sent me an Uber round trip to my home for free instead of waiting the whole day at the shop. Very convenient for that. I like how they inform you digitally sent from a portal or website what the issues were when the car is diagnosed along with photos of my car and parts and suggestions. I highly recommend this place, and I would go back again for their future services. Thanks Angel and Mike! See you guys again soon

My car broke down on the freeway. I was lucky enough to pull off the side of the road. I brought it to DK. What a great team they have there very efficient thank you Mike and the other kid that was in the front too. He helped me a lot too I’m not sure what his name is but they have an awesome team there they got my car done and a day and a half, much appreciated. Much appreciated.

My 2000 car has over 200,000 miles but still runs fine. Last summer I had a check engine light and the code said I needed a new EGV. I had the folks at D&K make the repair.About 6 months later, the light turned on again. The folks at D&K found another part and installed it without a charge. The next day the light was back. This resulted in several months of the folks at D&K trying to eliminate all other conditions my old car had that might be causing the problem. They even took my car to two automotive repair classes to get ideas from the instructors. Finally, they located a Delco part in Kentucky. GM parts for cars from 2000 are hard to find.My car has been running for almost a month with no check engine light. Even after all the work they did to solve the problem, they only charged me for the part and programming. This is a small fraction of what it cost them in time and labor. I appreciate their diligence in keeping at least one old car out of the junk yard.

Ashley and Angel were both very helpful and professional. Ashley was my service advisor, she scanned my vehicle for the reason of my check engine light that would come on when ever I called for acceleration(passing or going up hill) and put my vehicle in Limp-Mode for 2-3 days.My car was diagnosed and was determined to be the in-tank fuel filter. The part was ordered, received and installed the next day.Great service and customer care. I will be using D&K for future vehicle problems and repairs.

Sent the truck in for an A/C recharge. Dropped it off in the morning and Mike called me an Uber to get me to work instead of waiting on the courtesy shuttle, scored points with my boss cause I made it to work on time. Mike kept me updated on the progress and sent me a link to the vehicle inspection that was included for free. When I picked up truck he took the time to review the inspection with me and be aware of possible future problems and was able to give me an estimate to fix them if I care to do so at a later date. I had my 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport towed to this location for diagnostic service. The gentleman in charged of my car Mike was more than professional, he was very friendly, kind and very understanding of the situation.He gave me the low down on what is needed ( a new transmission at $14k) as well as the information that Mitsubishi doesn’t have rebuilt transmissions, only new ones.As I contemplated on what to do about the situation, he was gracious in having my car stayed at the shop lot until I was ready to make the ultimate decision.I eventually decided to buy a used car instead of spending a new transmission on my high mileage vehicle (156k). Mike was there all the way up to when the car was towed away.What a great guy Mike was with my situation! He is one of those very few people that makes dealing with automotive repair shops stress free and a sure blessing!Thanks Mike!

God sent me an Angel when I started having problems with my car. Angel helped me get approved for easy pay so I could get my car repaired. I was having a bad day as it was and he actually helped me feel better which wasnt part of his job I am sure. They are awesome. Helped me out and got my repairs done in a timely manner. Great experience when I wasn’t expecting it. Most places I’ve experienced in this line of work try to hustle you into getting other things done while they’re already working on the main issue (especially when an ins co. is paying for the main issue). At D&K’s they told me about other issues and advised me on how much it would cost to go ahead and add things to the work being done, but never pushed it. They worked with my ins co. and everything ran much smoother than I could’ve asked for.

Parts price gauging. Got home looked up parts # that was on receipt from D&K. I thought you would charge retail prices for your parts. Boy was, I wrong. Felpro intake manifold gasket set auto parts store $60.00. D&k charged me over $200.00 really.It gets worse remanufactured denso starter identical parts # from parts store $170.00 D&k 400.00. Will be looking for a more honest auto shop

Nice people. Good mechanics. Third time I have taken my car there. Comprehensive diagnostic (not free) gives all info as to how car is not at 100% performance. Comprehensive estimate matches diagnostic test item for item as to cost. Downside: all this testing takes time - plan for more than one day to get car back if you have any repairs done. Mine took three days. This is reason for 4 stars, not 5.

I found D & K through an ad in the mail. When I had a problem with my 2006 Mazda 3 and could not get a hold of the mobile mechanic, I brought my car here. Everyone here is friendly and professional. Went in to have battery replaced on Kia when others were telling me they couldnt due to on board computer. Finding: inspected and found my battery at below 6v,jump started &found no charging voltage, checked battery connections, main alternator fuse & found good.Charged battery to test &found failed cranking amps rated at 760 cca &under load produced 150 cca. D& K recommended replacing alternator, battery &serpentine belt which I approved to be done.I was pleased with the level of professionalism and courtesy of the staff, in particular my service advisor Angel Solis. I brought my vehicle in and told them the codes that I got and wanted a price on what it would be to repair the issue. I got a call about 3 hours later telling me they recommend I replace my transmission which will be about $8500.00. The vehicle probably isnt worth that much. Once I said I said I wasnt going to do that and I just wanted a quote on replacing the part I brought it there for, they fogot about me.

Mary at the front desk is very nice and knowledgeable. She remembered my name even though I had only been in once before. The quality of work is very good. The car feels great. When I went in for several repairs, there were 3 mechanics out sick; however, they stayed late to finish my car same-day.I highly recommend and the website for the inspection results and estimates is such a convenience. The whole experience was positive. Everyone was really friendly and Mary was super helpful, made sure my car was taken care of in a timely manner and even managed all the sorting out of getting me a rental car so I wouldn’t be stranded while they keep my car for the weekend waiting for the part to come in. I initially had an appointment at the actual dealer and they were extremely rude so I cancelled with them and made an appointment here due to warranty and I’m very glad I did. Mike made the mistake of telling the Warranty Company that my truck had no modification which a shop should of known that 24 inche wheel was a modification before he proceeded to break my truck down per the Warranty Company that denied the claim. Had Mike told me that when he took my truck in then I would have put the stock back on the truck. As a result i chose not to pay your shop over $17k to do the repairs. I had to pay your shop $2240 for a unrepair vehicle. Mike estimated was all over the place. He over charged me for to many things as if me the customer wouldnt look it over. So no I cant gave your shop a good review. I just picked my truck up today with a Jasper non dot engine and upgraded differential with rear posi. Both of those jobs cost me $11,374 with new axles as well. Including what I paid your company it still didnt add up to the $17k plus the Mike said the job would cost. He first told me $13,899 when they denied me then $17k plus. Mike made to many errors/mistakes for me to every come Back or recommend anyone to your shop. I knew Angel and Oscar from other shops in the neighborhood and I trusted them to be far.

This was the second time I have used D&K. They keep you informed and with their new system, I could see the parts they were referring to in the report. I knew ahead of time, what needed to be done with my brakes. But thanks to their inspection, I was able to save some by not replacing parts, I thought needed replacing. These people were a front straight to the point and only prescribe what I need it did not try and take advantage of me at all. I arrived in Antioch from San Diego in July with my A/C no longer cooling so I was desperate for a service. D&K is a professional and honest automotive repair shop. On a recent visit, I asked them to diagnose an intermittent ticking/clicking noise coming from the engine compartment of a Chrysler van. I was greeted upon walking in the door. The staff are very professional and nice. Its a large shop, very organized and clean. The lobby/waiting area has a large screen TV, a very clean restroom, and most importantly for me was having wifi internet connection. While I waited for my vehicle to be serviced, i had my laptap with me and was easily able to connect. The internet speed was very good but I was just checking my emails, reading the news, and viewing a few YouTube videos. Not sure if the speed was fast enough to stream a movie. There is a long counter top with multiple high chairs in front of a large window where you can work on your computer and see into the service garage. They also have a courtesy shuttle if you need it. Initially, I wanted a cooling system flush, although I tested the coolant beforehand and knew it was still good. I explained my reasons and it was suggested that they do some test on the cooling system first. I decided to go with their recommendation and am glad I did. The fan clutch was found to be weak which made sense to me for the issues I was having with overheating. I will be doing the work myself to replace the fan clutch and I just paid for the tests they performed which was considerably less than the cooling system flush.

I took my 2007 Cadillac cts at 730am 5-3 2021 with a misfire at idle with AC on to D&K. I shared my thoughts about the problem that it was an ignition coil At the time I was not aware of the $175 assessment charge. What a great surprise to see the new look of this shop. The service advisors are genuinely nicer and friendlier than the fake caring demeanor of most flight attendants and restaurant waiters. What’s more, they send you pictures and repair updates right to your mobile phone. The service advisors take time to explain using plain language what’s the problem with your vehicle. Where to start, where to start. Let’s start off with the problem. My car had developed a leak that caused water to enter the car from the roof, fill part of the headliner with water, run down the pillar and fill the floor mat with water. My first stop was DK Automotive. They were infront and told me it would cost $150 to diagnose but if it wasn’t my sunroof drain, I would need to take it to Ford. I didn’t want to take a chance on the issue not being the sunroof drain so I took my car to All-Star Ford. They wrote me up for an estimate and never gave me a price. Before I left, I asked how much it would cost. Ford told me it would cost me $400 just to tear apart my car and check for a leak. I couldn’t afford $400 so I took my car back. Upon returning to DK Automotive, they were appalled at the amount Ford was charging me. I took the chance that my issue may have had nothing to do with the drains and allowed DK Automotive to look at my car. Within a few hours, I received a phone call that my car was done and I could pick it up. At this time, it looked like a drain clean was all I needed. It hasn’t rained since to see if this indeed was the fix. This shop has been repairing my family’s cars for a good 3-5 years. If I can help it, they are the business I take my cars to and I feel you should to!

My Dodge ram 1500 just turned over 120000 miles and the engine was starting to run on the hot side. Everthing under the hood is all factory origanal. I called B&K Auto repair took it in the next morning and what a great experience with the inspection and photos sent to me with all the worn parts and now here I am writing this review my truck run great and I am ready for the summer heat and I feel safe that B&K repaired my truck. I was very impressed with D & K Auto Repair. There are too many places out there that will take advantage of a woman bringing in an auto for repair; in this case it was just the opposite!!! They could have gotten me for a cooling system repair that I thought was bad and I would have not questioned it at all but they were very honest and only did the repair that was necessary!!! They repaired the raidaitor and said that the cooling problem should be fine; if not to come back. It has worked great ever since. I will be taking both of my cars there for any needed repairs. Thank you for being honest and doing the job that was required - nothing more; nothing less!!!

Im a first timer here. I love that they take pictures for their inspections and give suggestions/recommendations. Mike was very good in communicating with me, alot of calls, its better to be informed of any changes, so not to be surprised. It is a bit on pricey side for me, but they do have a rewards program where you get 2% back in rewards to use for future use. I will recommend to my local fam/friends.

I first had my car towed to Meineke cause they had free towing and what a big mistake that was....it costed me over $500 and they didn’t fix it...I found D & K Auto and they had my car for less than a week and I haven’t had a problem since. Service was good at first, found after they repair something and first day out of shop car breaks down.They all the sudden arent responsible for anything even though it came out of there shop and was told car was ready to go. When you ask a shop to check everything and fix everything thats wrong you expect it to be done. I basically gave them an open Wallet and they said only minor things were wrong and now engines blown. Steer away youve been warned, either that or be a mechanic to lazy to do work and know your risking it. At first would have praised them and recommend but now hell no I would rather try a Craigslist guy then them. Did I mention they also charged us to tell us engine was blown lol after it came out there shop day before. For proof or invoice so you know its the real deal leave an email and I can show you how shady this place was. I think Kay hit it on the head about this place and the shop is writing there own reviews. When I talked with gentleman on phone was nice to me as well. Then when I told him, this car just was fixed by you his answer was well we didnt put in the engine only fixed what we thought was wrong. What a cop out lol and guy started getting rude as well with me so I Hear you Kay

I arrived on time for my oil change appt, and I was told Id have to wait at least half an hour to get in because they were very busy.. Then I paid $170 for an oil change which took 2 hours, because they wanted to perform their complimentary inspection... For the trouble, they offered to change my spark plugs, change the control arms and perform some fluid changes for the low price of $4600. Considering they couldnt even get my oil level between the minimum/maximum lines on the dip stick, I dont think Ill be overpaying for extra services.
