The entertainment was the most important part of the wedding for me and I am so glad to have worked with DJ Solstice.When it came to booking vendors, he was quick to respond through text (I also had to make sure he was available for our date as we were touring venues!) for any questions.Our venue didn’t allow sparklers so he was very kind to allow us to swap it out and add the audio book instead. The Photo Booth was also a big hit with lots of fun props and the pictures were such great quality. The package also came with a beautiful custom neon sign that you’re able to take home along with files of all the pictures and audio from guests same day. All these extras really made it easy get all the fun stuff for your wedding.We had his DJ set up right in front of the dance floor and it was an amazing production with all the lights and lasers.When it came to actual music, Matt did not disappoint. I had extremely high expectations considering my husband and I have been to a lot of big EDM festivals/concerts. We provided him with list of songs that we wanted and also songs we definitely did not want, and he followed it perfectly.He had us on the dance floor for almost 3 hours and we loved every single song and transitions were seamless. Matt truly gave us the rave wedding of our dreams!

Matt and his team were incredible. We heard Matt DJ at our friends wedding and knew he had to be the DJ for ours. We got so many compliments and had people dancing all night. I can’t tell you how many people came up to me and said best wedding DJ ever, best music they’ve ever heard at a wedding! His packages include a ton and he is willing to work with you to customize and make the wedding of your dreams. Matt and his team arrived early-provided the mic and music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and for the party. They also set up a bunch of lights and really made our space look incredible. I would for sure hire him again for another party! Oh and do not miss out on the cold sparklers-they elevated our first dance and so many moments through the night!

Where do I even start…. Matt is just simply amazing! One of the best in the business and he made our night one of the best nights ever. From planning the set list to execution on the day of our wedding, he is very thorough and detail oriented. My wife had a few special requests and he nailed every one of them!We also had a photo booth set up and the quality were amazing. One non-negotiable for our wedding: having DJ Solstice as our DJ. We even chose our wedding date based off his availability! We were talking to Matt at the same time we were booking our venue, and when we learned he was booked for the date we were thinking about, we pivoted immediately.Matt really understood the vibe we were going for which was alllllllll over the place lol (Hannah Montana, E40, One Direction, Morgan Wallen, David Guetta, NOTD, Cheat Codes, Gryffin, Backstreet Boys and so much more).He is so easy to work with and is very responsive. He is also sooo hype and really knows how to work the crowd.Our friends were talking about how lit, hype, and fun our DJ was. Felt like we were at a music festival. Many of them asked for the playlist! Our older relatives were talking about how seamless everything was and how there was always music as they traveled from the ceremony area to the cocktail area to the reception area.Matt offers many packages and is a one-stop shop. We love how in addition to his DJ services, we also had a cute personalized light up sign, and photobooth (DSLR quality). Although our venue didn’t allow it, he also offers sparklers, lasers and fog/smoke machines!Matt’s setup was clean and matched the aesthetic. We really like how he offers different setup options based off the venue style or the color scheme (white vs black setup).Highly recommend booking DJ Solstice for your wedding or next event! You will not regret it!

Matt was amazing to work with! He was our first vendor that we booked after we got the venue and are so happy that we went with him!The vision and vibe that he provided for our wedding was perfect. It hit everyone in the feels and made the dance floor so hype. It was very packed the whole night and the various genres he played was amazing! We hired DJ Solstice for our wedding in April 2024 and it was one of the best decisions we made! As big EDM fans we really wanted to have lasers, great lighting and CO2 effects and he delivered above and beyond. If it’s in budget, I’d def really recommend the ultimate package. The extra effects, especially the handheld CO2 cannon, were hits! We also love hip hop and Solstice did a great job of mixing EDM and hip hop with a sprinkle of oldies and kpop to cover all our guests wants. Some guests even asked for the playlist after which Solstice was kind enough to quickly provide. His setup looked great in all white and his speakers bumped. If you can fit his set up next to the dance floor it’s really worth it. His photobooth turned out awesome too. And the CO2 cloud he created for our first dance was huge, it was awesome! Lastly, he was great communicating with us throughout the whole stressful wedding process. He even jumped on a call with us about power supply needs last minute that really helped us out. No hesitations, 11/10 recommend!

If you want the best DJ ever, look no further than DJ SOLSTICE! Matt is awesome, he kept the crowed engaged, knows how to throw a party, has a killer Photo Booth (which accessories!) and the best audio guestbook/phone set up. I do not have the words to express how incredible DJ Solstice was! I would give him 10 stars if I could. We couldnt have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! His set was absolutely incredible and had everyone on the dance floor all night long. He seamlessly blended songs, keeping the energy high and the mood just right. We booked DJ Solstice for our party and he was amazing!! From the first contact to the last dance it was a dream. He was committed to making sure our event was exactly what we wanted. Besides music he also coordinated our Photo Booth which was a hit as well. Xoxo the photo technician. She was so sweet and helpful to all guests. Matt was a pleasure to work with. He responded quickly to my original request and was very professional with each communication exchange. He worked with us to provide necessary paperwork to play at our venue and was knowledgeable with what we needed. The day of the event, Matt was timely, professional and fun with the teens for our event. Everything that was requested for the photo booth was perfect, too. DJ Solstice was the perfect pick for our wedding. We met Matt at a Wedding Expo and he was very personable and knowledgeable about servicing weddings. He had an awesome set up that was visually appealing and great packaging options for events. He was also highly recommended on The Knot. DJ Solstice provides more than just music - he provided us with different lighting options, sparklers, and a custom LED sign with our last name which really set the environment and our wedding turned out beautiful! Matt was very responsive during the planning process. He was prompt and accommodating on any requests that we had for his service. He was a great MC for the night and kept a solid schedule of events following what our coordinator had sent to our vendors. The sparklers and CO2 guns were such a wonderful added touch - my husband and I were very happy with them. The guests LOVED the interactive touches to the night! We sent playlists/song requests to Matt which he played and added in his own mix and that worked out great! Matt nailed our Grand Entrance for the lighting, music, and vibe - he pumped up the crowd! My husband and I absolutely LOVED having DJ Solstice play at our wedding!! Matt was so awesome to work with during the whole wedding planning process. He answered all my questions, and I sure had a lot of them! Matt was so knowledgeable and I truly appreciated the insight that he brought to the table. As most weddings go, a couple things didn’t go as planned the day of our wedding and Matt was so flexible in adjusting the timeline on the spot. Matt kept the energy high throughout our whole reception! The dance party that Matt threw was INSANE. I got so many compliments on the dance floor about how fun Matt was. One comment shouted to me over the music on the dance floor was from my bridesmaid who screamed, “YOUR WEDDING IS LIKE A CLUB!!” That truly was the best compliment ever in my opinion! I wanted the energy to be absolutely crazy on the dance floor and DJ Solstice delivered. The dancefloor was packed all night and I saw all our guests of all ages on the dance floor too! As huge music fans (my now husband and I are both ravers/concert lovers)with music taste that spans anywhere to emo/pop punk and all the many subgenres of EDM we were very picky with who would be our dj. I am so happy to say Dj Solstice did not disappoint.Communication before and up to the day of the wedding was very straightforward and professional. His set up from the lights, booth and mixing equipment is all professional grade and all top of the line with the acoustics of the venue in mind. He even made a magical moment happen by playing a song by our favorite dj at such a perfect moment. Even towards the end of the night when most of the older crowd left Dj Solstice still kept the energy going and I didn’t want to leave the dance floor.Dj Solstice knows how to cater to the crowd but still keep your preferences in mind. Many guests who have never been exposed to our music taste was begging for the playlist post wedding. I am just waiting for an excuse to book him again for my next event !

Matt was AMAZINGHe went with the flow and gauged the crowd perfectly, he was very flexible with whatever kind of music we wanted played, he gave us as much or as little control over the playlist as we wanted and he was able to make everything from EDM to country flow seamlessly. I found Dj Solstice at a premier bridal expo last year. What sold me on booking with them for our wedding was two things:1. they had the best quality of Photo Booth prints when I compared their Photo Booth prints with the other 4 photo booths at that bride expo.This was important to us since the photo book prints were our party favors, and we weren’t giving out any other type of favor at our wedding.The Photo Booth also included digital copies to be texted to our guests, and the quality of the digital photos were outstanding.***Bonus: all digital copies were given to my husband and on a flash drive at the end of the night.2. The dj had a great presentation at the bride expo with slideshows of previous weddings and all the ways and things that they do to make weddings so fun! They have special effects with their packages such as sparklers, fog effects and a smoke gun to smoke show the dance floor.The night of our wedding went so flawlessly. the sparklers that went off when we had our grand entrance, and when we had our first dance enhanced our experience. We forgot about the fog/smoke gun and were just as surprised as our guests when we got to use it on the dance floor. It was absolutely incredible and the music was fantastic!Every guest raved about our dj and music playlist. He also send us some playlist selections during reception and cocktail hours!I also made some special requests such as Taylor Swift Medley and Dubstep songs. His music killed the dance floor! Dj Solstice was incredible for our wedding on 10/21/23! We had the sparklers for our first dance and throughout the night, a neon sign with our last name that he made and got to hang behind our sweetheart table, multicolored glow stick wands for the dance floor, an amazing photo booth where we got to keep all of our guests photos on a flash drive and the guests all got physical copies as well, and the Co2 cannon which was so much fun!! He totally made my dream wedding a reality playing all of our favorite and requested songs and made sure all of our songs for specific events like walking down the aisle, cake cutting, garter/bouquet toss etc were perfect!! Where do I start, from the moment he arrived, I could tell that this DJ is different. I have used many DJ’s and many times felt as if we could have had a better DJ.Matt is on a whole other level. We opted for Up lights and he is one of the first ones to use Up lights that integrate with the music. Let me tell you, WORTH IT!I have never had people come up to me at an event we put together asking for the DJs number until Matt. Through all the stress of wedding planning, DJ Solstice (Matt) made finding and booking a DJ plus photo booth package extremely easy and enjoyable. From the jump, Matt was very responsive, friendly, informative, and flexible. I had asked him a number of questions to start off and he provided very detailed responses usually within minutes. He provided photos and videos for reference and we were very impressed by what he had to offer. There was also a number of times we had made changes to the contract and Matt was very accommodating. On the day-of, Matt was extremely professional and reliable. We had requested specific genres of music for pre-ceremony, cocktail, and dinner reception; Matt nailed it. He played exactly what we were looking for. For the dance party, we were also very particular with genres, song choices, etc. Matt did an excellent job of mixing a wide variety of genres together and keeping things lit (figuratively and literally) on the dance floor. The ambience he created with his lighting and effects were awesome to say the least. He also offers a CO2 gun to rent and everyone loved it! Would recommend for any couple for their wedding. Overall, Matt was very adaptable and has a very good sense of the overall flow of a wedding and it seemed like he knew exactly what to do and when, even if it may not have been specified earlier or on the schedule. Overall, I would highly recommend Matt for any wedding and would love the opportunity to book him in the future.

We hired Matt almost a year prior to our magical wedding day on March 2024. We asked for a rave, and Matt delivered a rave. I was in search of my own DJ for my wedding on 9/1, when I finally reached out to her about her own DJ from her wedding back in February.For our wedding, we had a mix of Island reggae, hiphop, pop, and even country! He was our MC/DJ, provided the photo booth, up lighting, and our neon sign. He provides WAY more, but our venue had restrictions and we could not utilize everything. This DJ really wants you and your guests to have a good time, and will go above and beyond to do so. Matt absolutely met every expectation and you can tell me loves his job. Now this next part is a HUGE example of a great DJ, and a terrible DJ, and why you want the great DJ... The Bad DJ- We went to a friends wedding the week after our wedding, DJed by someone else, and this DJ did not listen to my friends requests at all! They provided him songs to play and he did not play even half of them. They love Frank Sinatra and had a few of his songs on the list. Their DJ played all the Sinatra songs back to back.. They did not know he would just press play and walk away and flirt with the coordinator the whole time. Second, they stated no song requests from guests, yet when guests walked up, he would play it! Later on we realized that we heard some of the same songs 2-3 times. The Great DJ (a.k.a) DJ Solstice- My Husband and I have a broad taste in music. We love Oldies, R&B, Rap, Club, Hip Hop, Alternative, Banda, Cumbia, Reggaeton, etc. And I was a very involved bride and made a playlist for each event and had every song picked for every moment, all very different. I sent DJ solstice all these playlists and he played every song we requested, and did it well. He abided by our must and do not playlists. His transitions were literally perfect. Ive never been to a wedding and heard something like that before. Even with our broad taste in music, he was able to make everything flow so well. My husband loved it so much that he asked him if he could have the set list, which he did give us haha! Every song we requested for the ceremony, recessional, entrances, cake cutting, dances, last song, every request was fulfilled and on time. I danced with both of my dads and mother, and he was so accommodating to play each song just long enough as to not have the guests get bored with 3 different dances. Also, there was a particular Mexican line dance told him was a must and that he could not play it without me. When he decided it was right to play the song, he made sure to call the Bride over the mic so I didnt miss it! He would not let the song officially start until I go to the dance floor! Ugh we just loved Matt! The lighting elevated everything! It was in sync with the music perfectly and the colors were so vivid. We got our photobooth photos the next day! A month or so after the wedding our link expired and I was not able to download them, but Matt was very accommodating and resent the link to me. The photobooth was great and the photos came out bright and clear! My husband is 61 and hates having to crouch for photos, but the booth was adjustable and made it so easy for taller guests and big groups! You get to pick your own template and text. And for the neon sign you get to pick the type of lighting, and color, and comes with a mount and a remote for when you take it home. We had multiple guests come to us at different times during the night to say their goodbyes, but then 30 minutes, 45 minutes, an hour later, we would still see them on the dance floor! I walked up to them and asked I thought you were leaving? Their response: We couldnt leave, these songs are too good. Thank you again for everything Matt, and for being a part of making our day perfect.

As anticipated, he absolutely nailed every part of the day. He played every single song that was on my Must Play playlist and then some more. The guest and even some of my other vendors kept telling me how amazing he was.What I am most grateful for was how much he advocated for my husband and me to have the sparklers used in the reception hall (the piece I was most excited about during our first dance.) I was told that the venue managers were giving Matt some grief about the sparklers being fire hazards or unsafe. But Matt and one of my other vendors were professional and calm in speaking with them about how they were safe to use and would not create any damage or leave any debris in the room. The most important part of our wedding day to us was the environment on the dance floor. I cannot recommend DJ Solstice enough if you are looking for a DJ who will absolutely keep the party going all night long at your wedding. His entire production, from the sound quality of the music, the lighting and effects on the dance floor, to his photobooth and custom neon sign are all high quality and contributed to an amazing wedding night. My now wife and I had a fairly large (170+ person) wedding, which was supposed to be outdoors but ended up being a tented wedding due to a rare rain day in October. DJ Solstice was quick to adapt to the new tented wedding and his music and lighting kept the dance floor completely packed the entire night (3-4 hours of non-stop dancing). Multiple guests and vendors commented on how great of a DJ he was and that they had seen few weddings where the dancing stayed so consistent. He worked well with our violinist for the ceremony to make sure we had all the proper equipment. DJ Solstice was everything we dreamed of and more!!!!! If you are looking to dance ALL NIGHT LONG he is your guy!!!!!! The energy all night was unreal. He truly went above and beyond in making our day absolutely perfect from the music to the photo booth, sparklers, dancing on a cloud, CO2 canons, and even a neon sign!! We are SOOOOO happy and will be dreaming about this day for ever!!!

A true team of professionals, I’ve hired DJ Solstice and company for multiple events from my company’s holiday party to my own wedding to a friend’s surprise birthday. Every time, they kill it! Packing the dance floor and keeping people entertained, I always have guests asking for the DJs contact info, because he’s that good. You should definitely consider him for your next event!

As a small business owner myself, I can’t say enough good things about how seamless this DJ made our event. It wasn’t big, but from set up to take down they took on the task without needing me to do a single thing, so I could just enjoy the night. Seriously the best I’ve worked with in a long time! He dj’d my 16year olds birthday party and played all her music with the clean version for us and when everyone left, he played our favorites. I had a birthday party held at my house and he was such a punctual person. The variety of music that he had was impressive. My favorite was the karaoke app that you can use to request songs to sing to. I would definitely recommend him to my friends.
