We used Divine Fijians for 24-7 hospice care for a loved one. They provided qualified care-givers on very short notice and worked with us around scheduling and coordinating with other healthcare professionals seamlessly. The care givers were experienced and extremely compassionate as well as competent to provide the various support required. The family is very grateful for the care provided by Divine Fijians.

Divine Fijians Home Care is a wonderful company to work with. The caregiver that took care of both my parents-in-law, until my father-in-laws passing, and after, was professional, caring, compassionate, and consistently wonderful with both of them. My father-in-law needed assisted living help and my mother-in-law needed memory care help (moderate dementia) and Filipe was able to attend to both their needs. The care in which Filipe helped my father-in-law through the last couple months of his life was invaluable! We could not have asked for more! Once my mother-in-law moved in with us, we retained Filipe for daycare help and he interacted and mobilized my mother-in-law so that she was able to be exercise her cognitive abilities as well as her physical movement. We cannot say enough about how wonderful Filipe was. We also really appreciated the professionalism and responsiveness of the administrators of Divine Fijians. When we had questions or needed updated documentation, they gave us what we needed and communicated with us quickly and consistently as possible. We highly recommend Divine Fijians Home Care!

I recently called Divine Fijians Home Care in desperate need of care for my mom the next day. The wonderful Nomi came to my house that very afternoon, did an assessment, and assured me that he could find coverage for mom for the next day. It was a miracle! The next day, right on time, Joana arrived and was every bit as wonderful as Nomi. She quickly absorbed all the ins and outs of Mom’s care and got to work getting to know Mom. I was able to leave knowing that Mom was in good hands. Joana kept me posted on how Mom was doing. And when I got home, Mom told me that it had been a lovely visit. Overall, it was an awesome experience which I would be happy to repeat and to recommend.

Divine Fijians Home Care provided excellent care for a gentleman who needed temporary assistance with daily living activities. Their caregiver always arrived as scheduled and demonstrated competence and a caring, helpful attitude in his work. I would not hesitate to recommend DFHC services to others.

Divine Fijians did an amazing job caring for our 92-year-old father, from the moment he came home from the hospital until he passed away four months later. Our caregiver, Colin, came into our home and cared for our father like he was his own family at a time when our family was already deeply grieving the recent loss of our mother. Our Divine Fijian Colin treated our father with dignity and compassion, making sure he was properly fed, dressed, and comfortable at all times. It was not an easy job but Colin did it with great patience and respect for our father and what our family was going through. I wholeheartedly recommend Divine Fijians for high quality, compassionate home care you can trust.

The Divine Fijians were outstanding. My mother needed in-home care after a major operation, and because of Covid-19, I wasnt able to travel to help her out. Poasa was excellent at communicating with me as the surgery and recovery plans evolved. The caregivers who worked with my mom were wonderful and really helped her feel safe and supported in the days after she returned from the hospital. Overall, they were reliable and very reasonably priced. I am so grateful for the Divine Fijians role in my moms recovery--thank you!

I had the best care and comfort. The caregiver was calm and ready to help when needed. I had a very rough patch with pain my first night home. My caregiver supported me and helped me through that. I can not emphasize how much help she was with that time.The caregiver was respectful and encouraging as well. I highly recommend the Divine Fijians and their caregivers. I am forever appreciative.

My brothers and I were in need of temporary care for my 90 year old mother and was extremely impressed with the immediate response and questions asked before setting up the assignment. We immediately felt at ease that this company would provide superior care, as they recognized they are in business of caring for loved ones.I interviewed several candidates before hiring Devine Fijians Home Care and was so pleased with their service.We were so pleased we are now considering a more permanent assignment in part time care for our mother.We highly recommend them for their excellent care and servicesBonnie jones

Divine Fijians Home Care provides a compassionate & economical service to patients reqiring both part-time and full-time in-home care.On their very first visit to my mother, planned for half a day, Divine Fijians immediately transitioned to full-time care when, that morning prior to their arrival, my mother experienced a severe stroke that rendered her unable to speak or walk, with one side of her body fully paralyzed. Needless to say, my brother and I were not prepared for this. Suddenly, my mother went from mobile & alert to needing 24 hour care for every daily function. Were it not for the easy accommodation, and perfect professional competence of our Divine Fijians caregiver, my mother may have ended up in a nursing home or bed & board facility--two things to which she felt very much opposed. She wanted to go peacefully at home, and with the attentive, pro-active care of her live-in caregiver, that was possible with minimal added stress on my mother. I will be eternally grateful to our caregiver for her constant equanimity and good cheer in the face of very challenging circumstances, both physically and mentally. We would have been lost without her. Finally, on a practical note: Divine Fijians charge reasonable rates and they make the payment process simple & quick with their on-line portal--a welcome relief during difficult times.

Devina was very well trained, experienced, compassionate, and friendly . She fit into the household immediately and my father enjoyed her company. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. She gets 5 stars. The reason for 3 stars is our first caregiver from Divine Fijian did not change my dad’s diapers often enough and he developed a rash and sores. Also I felt he was doing the minimum required. We also had an issue with a few substitutes who filled in. The substitutes let my dad sleep too long in one position, and sit too long in his chair and his bedsores became much worse under their care. So I caution that while all the workers were friendly and up on the basics, you need to ask question regarding their qualifications and experience if you need more that companionship care.

Magical, caring, loving caretakers. Truly a fantastic experience for our 94 year old father. Being reserved and private, we were worried that he wouldnt like the idea of having someone in his home. But his caretaker won him over and he became a huge fan of hers! Cant say enough wonderful things about Divine Fijians Home Care. Truly the best.

We contacted Divine Fijians Home Care due to the recommendation of a friend. They responded to our request and scheduled help fo us quickly. They communicated back and forth in a timely manner and invoices were clear and delivered according to scheduleThe gentleman they sent to help us with 24/7 care, Josaia was wonderful. He helped guide us through the last few weeks of my Dads life with grace, compassion, and great caring. He was professional thorough and always helpful. Beyond this regular duties, though we found him to have the unique skill of always sensing when to be present to help and when to fade into another area of the home as we needed family time.I would recommend the Divine Fijians and Josaia in particular to anyone needing help with end of life care for a loved one.Kathy In Santa Maria, CA

We absolutely loved Dee! She was always considerate, kind and very knowledgeable. My mother, Marie Rose, loved her. Dee helped nurse my mother so that she grew stronger. She did exercises with her, showed her how to get out of bed, and helped with personal care.Unfortunately, our time with Dee was cut short due to her finding other employment. She is missed by my entire family.We will definitely return to Divine Fijians Home Care, LLC, if we need further help in the future!Richard Townsend

Sala from Divine Fijians Home Care was our saving grace during my father-in-laws final days of life. An expert caregiver, she knew exactly what help was needed with each passing moment. Whether she was caring for my father-in-law, cooking a meal, taking out the garbage, holding a baby, or listening attentively to hospice- she performed her role with quiet confidence and loving care. I do not have a google account but below is my personal review.When my husband was released from the hospital, his doctor would not release him unless he had two Fijian caregivers in place. The best decision made for the degree of help my husband needed.I can only say that they were life savers. All three Jim,Joe, and AV were beyond what I expected. Not once did they care for my husband without the most beneficial help he needed. They even made beds, did the dishes, emptied garbage, swept the sidewalks, vacuumed, they made everything better. Their home care services to us, I can only say that without them I would not have been able to keep my husband at home to recover.Thank you all for everything.Tom and Janice Lowenstein and family

These wonderful folks took care of my father in the last week of his life. Due to the virus he had been in a SNF for 6 months without being allowed visitors. This finally became unacceptable to our family.99 1/2 year olds with dementia, and on hospice status might seem like a daunting task but Poasa and Marica were the perfect choice.Poasa organized and kept us informed and Marica provide 24 hr care.Their attitude and faith allowed our dad to see his family again.They are highly recommended by our family.A special thanks to Marica .

Owner forgot to schedule our appt. He said his daughter has his computer. Really? Is this a business? He came to the appt an hour late instead and never wrote a single note about our caregiving needs or medical condition. Said hed email us documents to fill out which we still have not received 5 days later. Spent a lot of time telling us about his other businesses, his home, and how he thinks he has the best agency BUT he does not use central computer application to keep tract of agency appointments or client needs. Very scary business to be taking care of elders. He couldnt even explain how he trains caregivers on dementia. We will pass on this so called caregiving agency. Someone should look into his business practice.
