Its impossible to overstate the expertise, kindness, and attention to detail of the team at Divine. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Chris on our electric.While installing a car charger, he noticed a significant safety issue that two other electricians had missed. With a newborn on the way, this was no small risk. Chris worked with us and PGE to secure the best option to move forward that was also in our budget. He truly went above and beyond, working every option to get us back to safety. Throughout, he was kind, quick to respond, and detail oriented. Weve never felt so safe or cared for.I cannot recommend Chris and the Divine team enough.

Divine are the kind of electricians our parents spoke about with a sparkle in their eye-- honest, kind, thorough, and transparent. We worked with Chris on an EV charger and safety upgrade. It was evident he cared about the quality of his work and getting us in a safe spot moving forward. Chris never took the quick or easy way out, always going the extra mile to ensure we were in the best spot.After having worked with multiple other electricians in the Bay Area, I can confidently say Divine is among the best. My experience with Divine Electric was extremely positive. The pricing was fair and competitive. Scheduling for the initial appointment was timely and to my convenience. Rob Markey was knowledgeable and very clear in explaining details about replacing my outdated Sylvania/Zinsler panel. Further, the work performed by Gene and Abraham was first-rate. They made the less-than-fun aspects of a major electrical overhaul bearable with their professionalism, efficiency, and consideration. It was a pleasure to do business with Divine. I highly recommend them.

We had a particularly difficult, multifaceted situation at our very, very old home. Pretty much everything was breaking down but we have very little money. Divine was able to give us multiple options to choose from which made us feel zero pressure to do a massive overhaul of our home. We were given all the information as well as photos of what was going on in places we couldnt see so that we could weigh our options.After we came to a decision and the work started (we had several things done and it they were able to do it in only two days I might add) we were kinda unhappy with a little thing. It ended up being a misunderstanding but STILL these guys bent over backwards like they were in cirque du soliel to make us feel heard and appreciated. These guys went so far out of their way to help us that they had to get passports. All at no extra cost financially or in time.Could. Not. Be. Happier. Shout out to Nick and Antonio for being so great.

Since buying my home I’ve done a large number of electrical upgrades, all performed by Divine Electric. Last November my 50 amp panel was upgraded to 200 to accommodate rooftop solar and EV charger. EV charger install. Two flat panel TV wall mounts. Several smart wall switches installed, and today a Logitech Circle View Wired Doorbell (“wired” being the key issue as the house didn’t have a wired doorbell). Working with the dispatcher to set an install date was simple and courteous. Nathan and Jacob arrived on schedule, very personable and following COVID and clean floor (disposable shoe booties) protocols without missing a beat. They did an efficient assessment of options for the install, reviewed them with me, then completed the install ahead of schedule with flawless operation and fully-cleaned work area. They stayed with me while I set up the device on the house network to make sure everything worked fine (it did… Kudos to Logitech as well!), then completed the transaction with a quick signature on their iPad.That’s why I keep coming back to Divine. They get it done right, on time, with a clear focus from dispatch to install on customer experience and satisfaction. The attention to detail shows, and consistently across all the crews who’ve worked on my place… but with a special shout-out to Jacob who just joined the Divine team; he has a good mentor in Nathan!

Divine Electric did an excellent job with my recent panel upgrade. From the initial quote with Alex, I felt like I was being treated fairly and was given an accurate estimate for the work to be done. The installation team was professional, prompt, and made sure there were no oversights with the job. Herb was transparent during the whole process and kept me informed on job completion. We chose Divine for many reasons. They have great communication, explained everything in a way that made sense to me, and they were always on time. Everyone from Divine also instilled a feeling a trust. Trust and honesty are most important to me, especially when it comes to something like electrical work. I worked with Diego in evaluating the electrical issue and determining a resolution. Juan and Luis arrived around a week later to complete the work. Jeffrey of Divine Electric installed a Tesla Universal Wall Connector Charger and a sensor light at my home. He and the team at Divine Electric could not have been more professional or proficient. Jeffrey was on time, concentrating on the work at hand as he spent the day meticulously developing and then wiring a complex setup, followed by giving me operating instructions. We had Divine out to estimate for us a new outlet needed for a new sump pump that was recently installed. Jae arrived promptly and was thorough in his estimation. He provided multiple options with different price ranges. I liked him and Divine so much ( they did another job for us years ago) that I specifically requested Jae to be the one to do the job. Incompetent and overpriced. I called Divine to replace an old 100-amp breaker on my sub panel that keeps tripping. I am an electrical engineer and already diagnosed the problem. They charged me $1008.16 to diagnose the problem, replace the breaker and install 10 light bulbs in the ceiling fixtures. But, they didnt actually replace the breaker. So, it keeps tripping. And, they didnt actually diagnose the problem, or it would be fixed. And, they didnt tell how much they were going to charge me before they started so I didnt approve the charges. And, I have contacted them four times and they are not returning my call so I am writing a review.

Divine Electric came to install a house fan and noticed that our new electric panel had old breakers. They offered to replace them and check all the other panels. The installation of the house fan was also great. They were fast, efficient, and did a great job and cleaned everything up and left things the way they found them.

Today, Nick, a very experienced master plumber, and his assistant Antonio, performed two plumbing installations for us: (1) a new kitchen faucet and (2) a new toilet. They got EVERYTHING right: knowledgeable at the expert level; skillful with all aspects of the installation; concern for performing their work at the highest level to insure that we never have problems arising from their work; fully informative about all aspects of the replacement installations, including important discoveries made in the process—in this case a badly kinked dishwasher drainage hose that had been improperly installed; respectful of our home environment, our time and our inconvenience; courteous and friendly, a pleasure to have in our home; punctual. The prices were reasonable and the whole team was very professional, explaining our options clearly and being patient in answering all our questions. We had a leaky shower, needed our water pressure adjusted, and needed new valves and pipe installed. Nick Loera was the plumber that did the job. He was fantastic! I had a water leak somewhere in the house. Nick came, found the leak and fixed it. One of the leaks was an old toilet that needed to be replaced. Our project ended up being much bigger than we initially anticipated, needing a new electric panel, before expanding into plumbing work to install a new water heater and re-piping our house. Every single person at Divine was wonderful to work with. They are responsive, helpful, and honestly they are genuinely happy every day they show up at your house (even when they have to go into scary crawl spaces or it is an atmospheric river outside). They were excellent with communication when PG&E didnt show up for our first appointment (which was the day of the atmospheric river), and did everything they could to get electric working while we waited to reschedule with PG&E. We interacted the most with Connor & Abraham and they were absolutely fabulous. In addition, Alex, Thomas & Sam were wonderful to work with. We cant thank them enough, and we know that everything was done thoroughly and the right way. We wouldnt hesitate to use them for any future plumbing or electric needs.

Chris was absolutely incredible. I thought my water heater was kaput, but thanks to his diligence we were able to truly track the actual source of the problem—which wasn’t the water heater at all! Thank god for his expertise, attention to detail and thoroughness. Without it I might have replaced the water heater —which would not have actually fixed the problem!Which, by the way, was a newly installed this year (but many months ago) earthquake valve, that I had forgotten about. A simple turn with a screwdriver, and voila! Problem fixed. Next time I have any problems with our gas appliances, I will be checking that valve first! But 4 different people — all of whom I respect — thought I would have to replace the water heater, until Chris came to check things out. Thank you Chris, and Divine Electric and Plumbing!

We had to bring the electrical infrastructure of 76 year old home up to current day codes and standards while still occupying the house. This included adding EV charging and a generator transfer switch. Jacob spent a lot of time with us identifying the problem areas and working on a design that met all our current and future needs, and it was reasonably priced.The pricing scheme by the number of circuits gave us a lot of flexibility to add as needed vs. doing it on time and materials, especially for an old house where so much of what needed to be done couldnt be seen until the project was started.Brian, Ryan, and Carlos were very methodical in planning the work for the day, so we knew what part of the house we could or could not use. Then they cleaned everything up at the end of each day to make it more livable until the next work day. They were very detailed oriented and made sure it was quality work. And they were also very personable and it was enjoyable to have them working in our home.I would highly recommend them.

We moved into a home in Tiburon back in February of 2022. The house is about ~75 years old, so there has been a lot to do. Weve depended on Divine, and they have completely upgraded the house to a 200 amp system to prep for solar / electric car, have replaced all of our outlets, and replaced a number of the lights and fixtures. We chose Divine because of their great reviews online. After having worked with them for months and dealing with many members from their team, I cant do anything but leave them the best review possible. Jake, Luis, Alvaro, and Harris. We are getting a gas insert fireplace installed and needed an electrical outlet installed behind the insert (But in the fireplace/chase). The project was time sensitive, and calls to other electricians recommended by the fireplace company went unanswered. Divine called back immediately and scheduled for the same week. The first time they came 6 months ago, they did an excellent job replacing a tankless water heater. They were prompt, respectful and thorough. They explained how everything worked, and how to maintain it. Great communication and great work.Ive continued to use them for other plumbing and electrical jobs, but have noticed a number of issues. Everything about the experience of getting new lighting with Divine was top-notch, and I would 100% recommend them to anyone.I needed three lights replaced at my house, two fluorescents in the garage and one halogen in the kitchen. Everything about scheduling and communication was incredibly professional, transparent, easy, and digital. Rob came over to my place and helped to guide me through my options and explained what would needed to be done for the project. I appreciated how clearly he explained my options for me, including suggesting ways that I could save money in the process. There was an $89 dispatch fee, but it could be credited towards the work if I went with them, which I did. Almost right after Rob left, I was called and set up a time for the work to be done. I dont know much about electrical work, but from Googling online the prices they quoted me seemed pretty fair. Rob gave me his card, and when I had further questions for him over email a few days later, he responded incredibly quickly with relevant, helpful advice.Today, Alejandro and Diego showed up to install the lights, and their installation was everything Id hoped for. Nathan and the others in the office went above and beyond emailing and battling it out with my insurance company to try to help get me reimbursed for code compliant upgrades after my neighbor flooded the kitchen and middle bathroom in my condo. Joseph showed up on time to diagnose a mysterious occasional power loss. He examined the panel but quickly realized that the issue was actually in the PG&E power lines coming in to the house (which had grown into a tree!) He was able to direct me to the correct department at PG&E to get a repair person out within an hour and was present to ensure power was restored correctly. I couldnt believe how hard it was to get an electrician to respond to my pleas for help, except for Divine Electric. I had a landscape light timer that was broken. I have owned 5 homes and have years of experience with electrical contractors - none as prepared, efficient, well trained and customer-service oriented as the team working on my project. 10/3/18: After having an EV charger installed by Divine, I recalled them for installation of a transfer switch. The live scheduler was courteous and efficient. Nathan Dupre arrived on time to evaluate the job. I could immediately tell that he knows his profession. He spent the time to explain what was needed and required. Unlike other jobs where I understand they present various options and bids, the only options for this job involved the length of an extended warranty. From other reviews I suspect Divine is not the cheapest, but I have learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. Nathan & Bob arrived on time and spent the entire day installing the transfer switch. Both kept the job moving forward and were extremely considerate and polite. The YouTube videos I had seen about installing such a switch did not come close to depicting the actual work involved. In fact Nathan stayed into the early evening to verify the circuits were correct and he will return when the generator can be tested. I never had the sense of any shortcuts. The equipment and the installation will probably outlast me! I rarely write reviews as most services are simply acceptable. Divine stands out and deserves 5 stars.2/25/19: Most reviews are written soon after ones experience. Perhaps just as important is what happens down the line, i.e., backing up ones work, supporting ones products and consistency of personnel. Today I had a followup visit for the transfer switch which Divine Electric (Nathan) installed last October. I was remiss in not testing it immediately after installation, but a recent 30 hour power outage forced the opportunity to test the generator and transfer switch. All worked well, but I had some operational questions and some thoughts about fine tuning the system. Nathan came out today as planned and spent an hour answering questions and making a few modifications to improve the utility of the set-up. He knew the system because he installed it. No charge. Consider it a follow-up visit! Thats divine!

DE with the lead of Sam and his boss who cares, comes through with fixing a problem with initial install of new panel. New crew came and spent entire day to fix the problem. Dedicated, honest, took responsibility and cared about keeping customer happy. I will recommend DE every day to anyone. Other companies can learn from DE. Great communication - updates with when electrician would arrive. Electrician was prompt - courteous and included me in how he was approaching the issue.Was clear - concise and assured me that he would do everything to resolve the issue ! I found Jae to be honest in his offers of remedy - did not feel unsold .I will call Devine again and will definitely request Jae return !

We could not have had a better experience. We called Divine for several electrical anomalies in our home. Nathan was great, as soon as he introduced himself we were happy to have him in our home. Nathan let us know what he was doing every step of the way, and brought a real positivity and humor to our whole situation. He was able to fix the immediate problem as well as craweled in our attic, garage and under the house to track down our mysterious subpanal. As he inspected all the old wiring he noticed that our breaker panal was completely mislabled from the previous owners and took the time to accurately label them. We felt completely at ease with the work he reccomended and scheduled him to come back the following week. Our house is electrically sound, and we look forward to future projects with Nathan.

Nathan Dupre did an outstanding job installing my Nest doorbell. The old wiring was 60 years old, so he had to do some upgrading. He was quick to figure it out, expert and skillful, getting it up and running in no time. He admitted he has a passion for electrical gadgets; I could hear him singing as he worked. Great job. I just had my first experience with Divine Electric Norcal and I could not be more impressed or satisfied with the outcome.First off, I received a text from the dispatcher, informing me on my technicians timeline and ETA. This made it extremely easy for me to be able to plan when to leave work.Nathan, my technician, arrived, introduced himself, gave me his card, and put on protective freeze over his work boots before entering (which I really appreciated because it’s raining and muddy). He came in, went down Divine to work plan, told meWhat to expect, and quickly got to assessing the situation. He immediately identified the issue, fixed it on – site, and put everything back together.Not only do I have power back to both of my bathrooms but I have cable again and will be able to watch the Super Bowl this Sunday.Thank you, Nathan, and Divine electric, for a job well Dash done and excellent customer service.I highly recommend Divine Electric Norcal.

Power went out at two outlets and to our refrigerator and stove around 9am. We called Divine and Brian, the electrician, happened to be in the neighborhood and came by within 30 min. He could not figure out the source problem so in addition to pulling the fridge and stove from the wall, he went into the crawl space in our ceiling. VERY determined. Ultimately he found it was a wiring issue behind the stove and fixed it quickly. He could not have been more friendly, he was incredibly professional and after using Divine for some BIG work last December and now for this one more minor issue, we will for sure use Divine again.
