Heavenly! I absolutely loved my stay at Dive PS. This boutique resort is beautifully designed, clean and stylish. It felt small and private but plenty big enough for guests. Perfect spot for a relaxing stay. I stayed at the Orchard Suite. It was simply the best. Large suite with a gorgeous private patio, large hot tub and a putting green. Ill definitely be back and highly recommend to all of my friends. Thank you, Dive PS!

Dive is a super special boutique hotel close to downtown Palm Springs. The rooms are themed in French Riviera, each having its own romantic identity. The courtyard and pool are littered with quiet seats and day beds to relax and take in the quiet or the sun. The atmosphere welcomes friendship as you get to know the other guests visiting from all over the nation. The staff is wonderful, always attentive to each guest with a smile on their face. Holly and I had the great honor of meeting the owner who was one of the kindest people, giving praise and love to his staff and patrons. This was such an amazing experience! We’ll be back. Dive was the perfect place for a relaxing, high quality stay. The whole ambiance is so beautiful and we loved all the nooks to discover in the courtyard. The different seating options from lounge chairs, hammocks, swinging chairs, and day beds- were a cool highlight. The significant seating options plus two fire pits made the whole space feel wide in both variety and physicality. The pool and hot tub were amazing and the small number of rooms made it perfect to guarantee a relaxing balance between privacy and comfort. Perfect place for a stay that will leave you feeling refreshed and satisfied! A must stay in Palm Springs!

A beautiful small hotel experience. The staff was wonderful and the rooms were very comfortable. Great location for getting all over the desert and very peaceful to hang around at during the day and into the evening. The pool looked beautiful with a couple cabanas nearby. We didnt get a chance to try it out as it didnt get super warm during our stay. Overall, highly recommend this place. Id love to come back!

Resort pass for the win! My friends and I have done 2 day trips here to use the cabana and pool. Its a lovely adults-only hideaway. Seemingly never crowded. Delicious charcuterie board for $35 and complimentary bottle of rose. Worth every penny!!

Dive Palm Springs is the only place I will stay in Palm Springs! The property is amazing, the rooms are beyond special, and the service to one of a kind. The place feels like home and the staff treats you like royalty! I highly recommend Dive Palm Springs - you cannot go wrong this place. Room#2 is my favorite but all of the rooms are unique and special! So many special memories with friends and family here - Enjoy.

Super friendly and accommodating staff that ensures you feel comfortable and taken care of. Our room was very clean and had a charming aesthetic that contributed to the overall experience when paired with the amazing oasis-like poolside courtyard. Breakfast was always what we needed to start the day and the staff checks in regularly to those poolside to make sure they have what they need as they relax and soak up the sun. While they do offer food/snacks, you might need to leave the hotel to get a heartier type lunch or dinner. If you find yourself in that situation, Id recommend GiuseppesPS thats within walking distance, Kings Highway thats within a short drive (they also have Stumptown Coffee), or Barn Kitchen that is a block away (youll need to make a reservation ahead of time). Overall, highly recommended for those looking to unplug and relax poolside!

I travel a lot for work and have experienced many high-end hotels & resorts, but I have to say this is one of my favorite hotels Ive ever stayed at! The charm, the staff, the comfy bed were wonderful. Topped off with happy hour rose and a perfect continental breakfast. Im already planning on going back for my birthday next year!

Loved our stay here at Dive. The room was very clean with nice decor. Great service from the staff and loved the a la carte free breakfast. Also loved the courtyard area to hang out during the day. The only downside was the pool was getting some work done and the hot tub jets weren’t working while we were there so maybe check to see if they’re functional before booking. But even with that we’d definitely come back.

We had a short stay at Dive over NYE weekend and it was lovely. The perfect hotel for quiet relaxation. They provide a nice breakfast in the morning which we enjoyed around the fire pit. We used the hot tub too and only one other couple was in it. Loved the peaceful ambiance of this small adults only boutique hotel.

I first stayed at The Dive about 5 years ago when it was The Colt. We had a great time then but love try out all the cute different hotel in Palm Springs. We decided to go back and try The Dive. We had a great stay. The hotel is small and peaceful. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The pool and outdoor area has lots of space to lounge and relax or work remotely. The breakfast was perfect and kept us full until lunchtime, even after 9 hole game of golf.

Planning a two-week road trip tour of Southern California, we picked Dive Palm Springs from an Internet search because we liked the wicker furniture. Boy, were we ever lucky and surprised at what we found! The Dive is a classic 1950s-style hotel with great wall art, cool line drawings and wonderful neon. We loved the colorful shower tiles and our first room was fun-key. Antlers, wings and a jungle mural on the ceiling. Fantastic. The hotel property is perfectly designed for privacy and relaxation. The two best things that I havent already mentioned: the property is immaculate. Well kept. Clean. We kept our room extra tidy because it would have felt wrong not to; and, the hotel staff. Assistant Manager Michelle is a gem. A bubbly personality and always available and ready to help. We liked our two-night stay at the outset of our trip so much that we canceled the hotel we had booked for the end of our trip and returned to The Dive for two more nights. And we plan to return for a longer stay next time. The owners of The Dive obviously care about the experience and theyve nailed it.

What a lovely little boutique hotel. Rooms are immaculate and beds are comfy. The staff are very accommodating too. Got a good tip on an Italian restaurant about two blocks away called Giuseppe’s. Fabulous food and service there too. This boutique hotel is a ways away from all the touristy restaurants and attractions, but easy to find by a short car drive . The one thing missing was no TV in our room. No big deal for me but my husband wished there was one.

We absolutely adore Dive Palm Springs. Its like an escape to the Mediterranean in the CA desert! The staff are so welcoming, lovely, and accommodating. The location is ideal. Theres nothing but praise and compliments we can offer this delightful boutique gem. The small-on-purpose property makes it feel like you have the place to all to yourselves: beautifully curated rooms that are unique, perfectly-styled, and so comfortable, a lush outdoor oasis with a gorgeous pool and garden furniture, and included amenities like coffee and breakfast that put this place in a category all its own. Weve been twice now and are committed to returning 3-4 times a year; its that exceptional. (Including some nighttime photos because its as incredible at night as it is during the day.)

Nice little hotel, we loved the super chilled vibe, and the pool.I didnt give 5 starts because:The room was nice, the bed was super comfortable and we loved that the hotel is dog friendly, but we found the $75/night dog fee was really high considering the hotel doesnt provide a dog bed or bowls... however, it was nice being able to have the dog with us by the pool.The walls are thin, we could hear people talking, snoring in the room next to usBreakfast in the am was great but the service was uneven, like we didnt get everything we ordered unless we asked multiple timesLocation of the hotel was good, but the traffic noise and the distance from downtown was a low point.The pool and hot tubs were at a perfect temperature.We liked that the hotel was adults onlyStaff was friendly, overall vibe was great. The best hotel stay weve had in some time. Being there felt like we had been invited into someones beautiful home. Everything there is so well curated, from the furniture, the artwork, the bed linens, the music playing throughout the day; everything just works so perfectly together and adds to the ambiance. I would be remiss if I didnt mention the simple but perfect breakfast served up by Michelle or Evan each morning as well as the other staff on premise who were friendly and welcoming and happy to chat or offer suggestions on things to do or places to eat. Lastly, and this may not be for everyone, we loved that there are no televisions on premise (Chris - please keep it that way).Were already looking at our calendars to figure out when we can come back.

We found this fantastic hotel in Palm Springs almost by accident while we were on our way from Kingman to LA.Since we were tired from the trip and wanted to make a stop to visit the city, we found an offer at Dive. A fabulous surprise, 4-star hotel with all amenities, beautiful, great pool, very relaxing atmosphere, super clean and tastefully decorated room, after so many motels around the west, we enjoyed a well-deserved rest at this hotel.Very friendly staff, the guy who greeted us could even speak Italian.Truly compliments.

What a terrible experience. I don’t know how they got so many 5 star reviews.First they wanted to charge me $75 for early check in even I was the only guest in the hotel and my room was ready, secondly the first morning I waited from 8-8:15 am for breakfast and no one was there and someone showed up 8:15 and insisted of apology said we offer breakfast till 10:30 am. I had to leave for a meeting and couldn’t wait any longer!Last but not least I requested a fork and spoon to have my dinner at 7:15 pm through text ( on the card it says text us anytime) and I realized there is no one at the hotel after 7 pm!!!!I have never heard of that. It’s a hotel not a super market. You need to have someone on site 24/7Not recommended at all

Dive Palm Springs is the perfect location for a Los Angeles getaway. Each room is tastefully decorated, and the service is nothing short of amazing.The whole place is literally a vibe. Koi pond, tiled pool, jacuzzi, two fire pits, fountains, hammocks, daybeds, and on-site bartenders. What else do you need ? Food? They got that too! My husband and I recently stayed at Dive Palm Springs and had a wonderful experience. Our room was very cool with our own little private grassy area and chairs in the back, with the front being the courtyard/pool area. The breakfast of croissants, yogurt parfaits, and eggs really hit the spot for a nice easy breakfast by the fire or pool. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate the guests. I highly recommend staying here if you like unique experiences and quaint accommodations.

We came here for a five day getaway based on the recommendation from a family member. It was absolutely what our soul needed.It could truly be the definition for what a quaint, clean and charming boutique hotel should be.The staff is attentive and happy to help. From check-in, café service, to room service, to maintenance provider, everyone was polite and helpful.The rooms are as you would desire from my boutique hotel. It has a certain amount of French charm, properly laid out and clean.The pool is heated and surrounded by plenty of seating and umbrellas.Around the grounds you will find plenty of space to relax and fire pits to enjoy.It’s also perfect in location as it is extremely close to downtown but far enough away so that you are removed from the noise and traffic.The menu is quaint, but delicious. The beverages too were delightful.Cheers to the entire staff and leadership team for providing this couple a perfect getaway. And we had delightful conversations with other guest, and they felt the same.Our only critiques would be to put a few more creamers out as we’re a little overzealous in terms of creamer in our coffee and to inform Uber you are no longer the Colt Hotel.

Visiting Palm Springs? You MUST stay here! I have very high standards when staying at hotels and the Dive exceeded all of my expectations. The outdoor space is gorgeous, the staff is inviting, and the location is a short drive to downtown. Every detail was on point - from the welcoming glass of rosé at checkin, to the fully stocked mini bar, made to order free breakfast, cleanliness, and chill music throughout the hotel. This hotel featured tasteful design choices throughout, including gorgeous custom wallpaper in our hotel room. It was the perfect relaxing getaway for my husband and I. Beautiful little getaway! The first thing that struck me was how gorgeous the decor of the communal outdoor area was. Its just a lovely area to be in with a couple of fire pits and plenty of nice sitting areas. The second thing was how wonderful the concierge staff were. I feel terrible that I cant remember his name, but he gave us a number of excellent food and bar recommendations and was incredibly welcoming.The free breakfast was pleasant, and generous in that you could just ask for more food to be brought out to you.The rooms are also very lovely and comfortable. I think the only criticism I have is that they play music from 0900-2100, and while that in itself certainly isnt an issue, if youre trying to sneak in a little afternoon nap, it might be hard because you can hear the music from inside the rooms.I really enjoyed my stay and would happily stay there again.

Every year, for our anniversary, we go to Palm Springs, and our go-to place to stay is Talavera, but we decided to stay at Dive this year and we werent disappointed.Its an adult only, beautiful boutique hotel with a French Riviera vibe. We stayed in the Orchard. Its the only room with a private jacuzzi, and it has a three hole putting green, which my hubby loved.You get a complimentary breakfast, and they serve lunch and drinks. We loved lounging on the beds in the cabanas once the sun went down. The June weather was perfect. Sunny during the day to swim and cool enough to hang out at either of the two firepit areas.The staff was super accommodating and friendly. I definitely recommend staying here or Talavera. Both are uniquely different, but they both feel like you are swept away into another place and not in the desert.

We had a wonderful short weekend at Dive Palm Springs. This place is so welcoming and relaxing. We lived the simple and elegant design, as well as the friendliness of the staff. Ashley was our host and she was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and the fact that this hotel is on the smaller size is perfect, especially that you won’t get a feeling of a crowded place even if all rooms were booked. I stayed at the Dive Palm Springs July 2020. We were warmly greeted by the host, and received a tour of the facilities. The grounds of this adult-only hotel were beautifully landscaped and tastefully decorated. We stayed in a large suite towards the back of the hotel, with a private jacuzzi and miniature golf course. The room was immaculate, with many thoughtful touches I havent encountered at another property (a generous assortment of stemware and a very fully stocked bar). I loved the privacy of the room, and the many artistic touches throughout. Id definitely recommend this boutique hotel to any (adult) traveling through Palm Springs seeking a quiet and comfortable respite!

Dive Palm Springs was a first class experience from beginning to end. We were greeted by Ashley and after an easy check-in we were given a tour of the property, which was pristine.The pool area and courtyard were littered with a few guests enjoying afternoon cocktails with plenty of room for sitting and soaking up the sun. We were traveling with our German Shepherd and Dive was extremely accommodating. The food was delicious and everybody was very respectful and quiet during the evening so it was easy to get a good nights sleep, especially in the King Suite with a comfortable bed and sitting area. When we return to Palm Springs this will definitely be where we stay. Thanks to everyone on the Dive team!

Check in and check out was easy and the staff was so nice and welcoming. It’s the perfect size hotel with the perfect amount of guests. The pool and courtyard is incredible and you could easily hang out by the pool all day and never leave the premises. This is going to be our go to hotel when we visit Palm Springs in the future. We found our new favorite spot! Everything is kept very clean and the pool and jacuzzi are available anytime. All staffs are very friendly and also offered free drinks, which we really appreciated. The bed and bedding are so soft and extremely plush, literally feeling like sinking into a sea of clouds. We actually planned to go to Joshua Tree during our stay in Palm Springs but decided to spend more time at the hotel.This is an intimate boutique hotel that offers a chill and relaxing atmosphere. This is a beautiful, sunny and relaxing place. It is an intimate hotel with a surprising amount of comfortable areas to lounge in. So much attention to detail. The service is attentive and the vibe is very low-key. I really appreciated that the music by the pool was consistently pleasant and varied throughout the day. No electronic/pop music, which was a relief. At night, the grounds are lit beautifully and the ambiance is very romantic and peaceful. I would recommend having bug spray for nighttime.

This place is my new favorite happy place in the desert. Its perfect in every way: with only 11 rooms, this small & intimate boutique hotel has gorgeous large, uniquely styled rooms and a fabulous common ground. Like being in a movie! I felt so blessed, sitting in the heated pool and jacuzzi, surrounded by the beautiful blend of palm trees and plants,, listening to the best music being played throughout. It feels like youre in the back yard of some famous old time Hollywood movie star, perfectly lit with strings of warm bistro lights, black and white striped chaise lounges and perfectly manicured lawns. I was there on my own with my dog but I did not feel lonely at all. The staff is so friendly and they attract cool guests as well. The food exceeded my expectations and cocktails are too die for! This place is special and the whole team made me feel like family from the moment I arrived. Its also very romantic spot so I cant wait come back with my husband ;)

We stayed for three nights and could have stayed longer. A small (I think only 11 rooms) boutique hotel that was very well curated. The grounds were well manicured and we were happy to lounge there and not go off the grounds! Service was extremely accommodating and we’d gladly come back if we were in Palms Springs. I liked that it was in the more retro area. And while off of Palm Canyon Drive, I didn’t find it too noisy.

2 weeks ago I meet some friends in Palm Springs for the first time. We shopped around for somewhere cool to stay and found The Dive. From the photos it looked really nice so we went for it. For a first timer, leaving the open air airport to then seeing all the palm trees and beautiful mountains truly blew us away. We then arrived at the hotel which was really close to the airport and as soon as we walked through the front gate there was this instant relaxed, chill vibe we felt which was great after a big flight. We were greeted by the friendly staff and shown to our rooms. Each room is a little different and being a DJ I really enjoyed the little turntable record player in my room. The weather was hot and sunny so we hit the pool and enjoyed getting a tour around the property with the reception team. The property had just been renovated and they did such a good job. The Dive was close to town and sights so we went exploring for the rest of the day. The next morning we hit the pool again and were greeted by the friendly staff and served a yummy lite breakfast with fresh coffee. My friends and I only were there for one night but we seriously didn’t want to leave. I would highly recommend this hotel and looking forward to visiting again.

Our entire stay could not have been any better, from check in to check out. Abdi gave us the most warming welcome and made sure that we had everything we needed for the night.The deco is very well done. Our room was one of the smallest, but very charming and well decorated. We enjoyed the perfect temperature of the pool, the jacuzzi and the various relaxing areas the boutique hotel has to offer.One of their staff, Felicia (if I remember correctly) was the absolutely best! While we waited for our check in, she offered us a glass of Rosé. She prepared us a perfect breakfast the following morning, and the most delicious spicy jalapeño margarita in the afternoon. We can not wait to be back and highly recommend this gem in Palm Springs as it is truly a rare find.

Two days after getting married my fiancé and I drove from the Bay Area to Palm Springs to stay here. We came in with a slightly negative outlook, due to us drastically reducing the scope of our honeymoon plans in response to COVID. Our disappointment almost immediately dissipated when we walked into the resort.First is amazing service. We were hours later than expected and they called us to ensure we could safely and securely enter the property. It was an easy walk by a koi pond and pool to our room. I was impressed by the design and decor from the French Riviera style to the spacious tiled shower. Our first morning went like this:1. We walked 10 feet to a large personal cabana2. I walked across the grass to put in our breakfast order. We both ordered as much on the menu as we liked. It was a perfect meal to start the day.3. We had a dip in the pool, which was the perfect set temperature considering the heat.4. We took a short 5-10min drive to the nearby restaurants and stopped at the dog-friendly Boozehounds for lunch5. We returned for a nap, then back to the cabana and pool for a late night swimIt is a lovely spot and I highly recommend going before it gets more attention and has a busier schedule. We will 100% be going back, it may become an annual destination for us.

Although I am more accustomed to larger facilities and resorts, I was pleasantly surprised by the responsiveness of the staff at this hotel. The hot tube was a perfect relaxing way to finish off a day in the desert. If you enjoy hiking, Abdi will have a few recommendations for you and your group (make sure to ask about the hike with a waterfall, yes I said waterfall in the middle of the desert!)Perhaps my favorite part of my trip was my room. A huge bed that makes you feel like your are sleeping on a cloud that slowly lets your body sink into one of the best sleeps you have had in a while. The bathroom and shower were spotless and had high quality shampoos and soaps (leave your products at home). My room had its own outdoor area as well, if I wanted to get some sun in privacy. Fyi, there are no TVs in the room. This made it a lot easier to connect with the beautiful scenery and ambiance Palm Springs is known far. From the pond to the marble features lit up at night to the desert flowers and landscaping it was perfect!The on property owner has used his impeccable taste for decor to individually decorate each room with a mix of antiques and modern flair. The beautiful rooms are all decorated in top of the line furnishings with sleep number beds, kitchenette, AC & cozy sitting areas. The marble bathrooms have all the amenities and all in all the place looks like its out of a magazine!The community kitchen and sitting area are set up with a healthy, fresh light breakfast every morning. The kitchen has everything you need to dine in or BB-Q if you choose & The outdoor sitting areas are perfect for everything from catching morning sun to cozying up by the fire pit and enjoying the desert stars! The heated pool and hot tub were also a great spot to soak up sun!The Buzz (free public trolly) runs outside the hotel every 15 min and brings you downtown and back no charge until 1am. This is a small hotel with just 11 rooms. The entrance is not immediately apparent, but we understand that is being addressed, car parking is outside the walled hotel area. On walking through either of the doors from the street you are presented with beautiful gardens, pool, hot tub, BBQ area, outside dining area, cycles, sun loungers, bowls area and seating outside the rooms, both the BBQ area and the bowls areas are in discrete areas so these may not be immediately apparent, it is well worth a little scout round on arrival. Complimentary tea, coffee and iced flavoured water are available in the kitchen area where breakfast is served. You have access to the kitchen area 24 hours a day. Staying at this hotel is a bit like being at a house guest, you have access to all areas and come and go as you please. The cycles are free to use and provide an alternative means of going downtown which is a little over a mile away. The downtown area has a profusion of restaurants for you to choose from. Local shops and restaurants are across the road, so you have a number of options available for dining. Breakfast was great and was a continental style, but you have access to a kitchen so you can prepared what ever you bring. The hot tub is great as is the pool, with lots of sun beds complete with complementary towels. The rooms have standard double beds with each side having adjustable softness controls. Rooms have very quiet air con, fridge, shower, bath robes and flat screen TVs. The showers included bath gel, shampoo and conditioner. The owners had given a huge amount of thought into the attention to detail with this hotel in terms of its design, features and operation. The staff on arrival could not be more helpful, including giving detail instructions to the Outlet Mall, which my wife wanted, but I would have been happy not to know! Wish we could have stayed longer and would defiantly stay again if we visit California again. I rate this very highly and as a Hidden Gem. This is the best hotel on our Californian road trip and is hotel number 8.

The tiles that line the floor of Dive’s swimming pool are the height of human achievement. Seriously, these tiles will ruin all other pools for you. Be careful ever booking an event at colts lodge. It’s been 3 months and i still haven’t received the deposit back of over $2500. They gave me a receipt to show the money had been refunded but i checked my credit card for weeks and nothing was there. I called my credit card company and they told me nothing has hit my acct. when i finally call the hotel and tell them all this, they tell me oh we are having accounting issues and i promise you, it’s coming in 3 days.After 2 months i tell them just send me a check i can’t wait anymore. I can’t make credit card payments, they tell me again the check is in the mail”. Of course nothing arrives. It’s really disheartening to essentially have money stolen from my husband and i right after we got married. There were no issues or damages done to hotel.

We were here for the second time now. The entire complex is incredibly lovingly designed and, due to the small number of rooms of around 10, is very private, quiet and pleasant. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. The rooms are really great, something like that is rare in American hotels. Each has a small theme and is decorated with attention to detail and is also very clean. Some rooms have their own small terrace. Parking and a fresh breakfast (no pancakes or waffles but rather muesli and bagels, fresh fruit) are included. You can take water and coffee at any time. The pool is very nice and the perfect size.
