We contacted James Smith when looking for our home in the Del Prado subdivision in Pleasanton.We were happy to find an Agent that provides buyer rebates, in addition to helping us withour needs. While we were home in New Jersey, James showed us three separate homes via a Zoomcall, and helped us make a decision on which home was best for us. In the ultra-competitivemarket of 2021, James was able to get our offer accepted on the first try. Once we were inescrow, he helped coordinate escrow to close on time, get our questions answered about thesolar contract for the house, and met me when I flew out to California for the final walk-through. We found James to be honest, hard-working, and look forward to working with himin the future.

While doing an internet search for a low-cost Listing Agent to sell my home in Hayward California I found James Smith. He claimed to offer the traditional brokerage services at considerable discount. This included, but was not limited to, holding Open Houses, negotiating with the buyer’s agent and coordinating the escrow.James came over to look at my house and we talked about the sale. I found him to be very knowledgeable of the business and the trends in the market. He convinced me that I would not be sorry doing business with him. As it turns out, I was not. I even asked him sometime later to help me buy a house in Elk Grove, even though it was far from Hayward.I found James to be patient, realistic, personable and honest. His communication was open and consistent even when the news wasn’t good. I have bought 6 houses and sold 5 so am familiar with real estate agents. But I don’t think you will find an agent better than James Smith.

When my husband and I were looking for a house in Dublin in 2004, James Smith was an integral part of the process. Whenever we had any questions, he explained them in terms that were easy to understand. He was trustworthy and always looked for the best possible outcome. He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish.We have kept in touch and will be working with him again to find our next home.I would highly recommend him since he now offers buyer rebates!

We decided to purchase at Gale Ranch in San Ramon, and found James searching for an Agent thatprovides buyer rebates. This was during the middle of the pandemic, and James got a fair dealfor us on the second home we looked at. James communicated well with the lender, the ListingAgent, and us throughout. There are certain things that we, as buyers, are used to doingourselves these days, like finding the property we want to purchase online. James was clearthat since we did the initial footwork of finding the property we wanted to purchase on ourown, he would provide a rebate when the home closed. We saved him time on the initial search,and he showed up for all the inspections and supported for every step throughout the process. We are so thankful to him that in the end, he got a first house and a buyerrebate.
