The team at this optometry is wonderful! Everybody was extremely friendly & helpful with all of my needs & questions. I was seen by Dr. Hoshi & she was amazing throughout my whole exam. She informed me of the condition of my eyes & gave me helpful tips to keep them in tip-top shape! The whole environment is also very clean & organized. I encourage all to come here for your vision needs!

I highly recommend Diamond bar optometric center. Dr Natalie Hoshi is so talented with kids. My son had his first tantrum - free eye exam. No tears and no kicking. She is very patient and engaging. I’ve been in the DB area for over a decade and only recently stumbled upon this office. Every interaction, starting with checking in with the receptionist, to the eye exam and assessment, then picking out my frames and paying, was superb. I felt comfortable, well taken care of, and the office space is beautiful with a wide selection of frames. Dr. Hoshi is very kind and knowledgeable as is her staff. Grateful to have found a new optometrist!

My family loves this office. I bring my kids for pediatric checkups, which have been helpful to do, even though they have no issues or need glasses. The doctor checks eye health and can assess other issues that may present themselves. Another check mark to have each year as my kids grow up.

This was my first time at this office and I was very pleased. The staff was friendly and efficient and explained every test for my comfort. The dr was pleasant and through and made me feel comfortable. I was in and out quickly and felt like I received excellent care. All in all I was very happy with the whole experience which is rare in a lot of medical situations today.

Have some issue with my prescribed glasses and made an appointment with them. Doctor Hoshi was very detail in checking my eyes and glasses and found out the reason for the issue. They ordered the new lenses for me and gave me the extended warranty so I did not need to pay extra. Good customer services and staff were all very friendly.

Totally not what i expected. The pediatrician eye dr was super awesome with kids. My 4 yr old totally toke to the dr hoshi the moment she walked into the door. Dr Hoshi has her style of getting the kid involved so she can do the checkup. My daughter enjoyed it and asked to go back to the eye dr which is usual. Highly recommended if u have a child that dont like getting eye exam which i totally did.

I have been going to Diamond Bar Optometrics for about 10 years. The remodel looks great. The place is spotless. The staff is friendly and professional. The doctor shows you your eye pics and explains everything! They show you old pictures so you can understand how your eyes are progressing. The doctor even pulled up my past 2 vision tests so I could see how my eyes are changing. I’ve been coming here for years, such a beautiful and renovated optometrist office with good vibes from the staff! Honestly it’s the staff that keeps me coming back here. They are friendly, on time, and just so easy to talk to. As soon as I entered I was greeted with a smile! Within a minute it was my turn to take pictures of my eyes and the woman assisting me noticed how dirty my glasses were and she cleaned them for me and offered to adjust them! I was then taken to see Dr Hoshi for my eye exam. Dr Hoshi is so kind, genuine, and personable, she explains everything in simple English and allows for questions, and it was so cool to see the pictures of my healthy eyes! Trying on glasses is my favorite part and I love how sanitized they are! Once I try on a pair of glasses I leave them on the tables so they will be sanitized before they go back on the shelves! They have so many beautiful glasses and sunglasses to chose from! As a nurse, I’m on a computer screen for hours and I was reminded to get the blue light protection and for my glasses convert to sunglasses when I’m in the sun and I got both options! I definitely recommend this optometry for everyone!

Have to give the clinic of Dr. Hoshi a five star for the service her team provide to my family. We did the OK lens treatment to delay the development of the myopia for my kid. Dr. Hoshi provided detailed backgrounds of pros and cons of the treatment and during the first week of the OK lens trail, she talked through us every steps of proper usage of the OK lens and provided follow-ups to track the progress. On one occasion, we had emergency of the eye redness due to forget to remove the lens after asleep, we were worried about about whether the hard lens may damage the eye balls and called Dr. Hoshis office to request an emergency visit. Dr. Hoshi was out of town that day, her team consulted her through phone and arranged us for the same day office visit with another doctor. Luckily, it was minor scratch and recovered quickly. We appreciate the professionalism of Dr. Hoshis clinic and highly recommend to others.

Been going here for years, started with Dr. Zapper and after he retired Dr. Hoshi bought the practice and we are still getting great service.The staff has always been extremely friendly and are great to deal with. Weve never had a problem getting an appointment (current pandemic circumstances aside), and when there were problems with our glasses the staff did everything they could to resolve it.Dr. Hoshi is very efficient, explains everything she is doing and answers my questions. The dr I just met with was awesome and so friendly😊 This was the first optometrist visit I’ve ever had where everything was explained to me and I left without having any questions lol. The health of my eyes, the changes in my vision, it was all broken down for me to easily understand. My favorite part was that she fitted me for my contacts, left me with plenty of samples so I could see which would work best with my life style (I’m 38 weeks pregnant). She also had me try them on and retested my vision. All the other different offices I’ve been to had me put them on and then they’d send me on my way. Im sorry my experience with them was good. I payed fully out of pocket when I got my glasses here. The doctor was good, and gave great advice.However today I wanted to change my lenses on my frames and finally have insurance not to pay out of pocket. They told me they wont do it because they ship it to a third party vendor that breaks the frames.Does this happen? Yes. However it depends on the prescription and how old the frames are. So being dismissed like this is very discouraging. So I am going to Lense Crafters for now.

Hailey (sp?) went above and beyond! I was visiting family from out of town and I had an accident with one of my contacts and needed a replacement. There were many places I called before this optometry center and they said they were unable to check or accept my request but Hailey checked, got back to me with a quick response and even gave me the new contact without charge! I will definitely be referring this center to my family who lives in the area. Thank you Hailey!

Office is in the corner of a plaza with plenty of parking. Waiting area was clean and I was quickly helped when I checked in. Dr. Hoshi did a very thorough eye exam and explained everything she was looking for and what I need to be aware of in terms of eye health. Extremely pleased with my visit and the professional office staff. Ive found my new optometrist!

Great place for your optometry needs. Appointment only at this time because of COVID. But they make it easy to make appointments. I receive text messages by email and text for reminders. I think I received a phone call too by I never pick up my phone.The staff helped me pick out a pair of glasses and I received a text when my glasses were available. Dr. Hoshi answered all the questions I had about my aging eyes.

Everyone here is so warm and friendly! Hali and Dr Nudta explain how the tests work and what the results mean in a way that’s easy to understand. Angelina helped me find two pairs of frames that are cute and comfortable, even though my high prescription and narrow-set eyes make it difficult to find stylish frames that fit. This is the most welcoming optometrist’s office I’ve ever been to :)

Despite having moved out of the area, I still go to this optometrist any time I’m due for an exam or new prescription. They always make you feel at home here and take the time to address any concerns you might have. My husband and I agree that it’s worth the extra drive despite gas prices nowadays 😅

I drive from West LA to visit Dr. Natalie Hoshi -- usually takes me about 1-2 hours depending on the traffic. That alone should speak volumes about Dr. Hoshi, her practice, her expertise and the staff at Diamond Bar Optometric Center.Upon walking in the door, i am always immediately greeted by Angelina, Walter, Hailey and/or Claudia -- Diamond Bar Optometric Centers professional, friendly, helpful and very patient staff.Dr. Hoshi herself is very kind, thorough, patient and intelligent.Dr. Hoshi and the staff also use the latest technologies -- one of them being a machine that can take pictures of each eye so you can see the nerves, optic nerve, cornea and whatever else is going on with your eyes - so things can be detected and diagnosed earlier on!Dr. Hoshi always patiently listens to any concerns and answers every question i have regarding my eyes.Towards the end of each exam, Dr. Hoshi also puts together a makeshift pair of glasses that i can look through to get an idea of what my new glasses will do for my eyes. Better equipped with knowledge about my eyes, i am ready to shop for frames!Diamond Bar Optometric Centers Frame selection is amazing! I usually take about an hour or so to decide on a frame - there are SO many brands & styles to choose from! i always want to purchase 2-3 pairs, but my budget keeps me in check and i end up puchasing only one pair of glasses. My family of SEVEN recently had our eyes checked by Dr. Hoshi. Though it required some shuffling between my husband and I with the covid regulations, we were happy to see them taking precaution. My 3yo was a little timid about going, but once she saw her brothers naming out letters with one eye closed or picking colored Xs and Os out of the little book, then she wanted to do it too. 😂 We’ve been coming here for a few years now and every year we are happy Dr. Hoshi is always punctual and thorough. She caught my husbands glaucoma a couple years ago and had him referred to an ophthalmologist. Also love the selection of high end glasses and Angelinas input!
