My technician was the best person ever. I just wish I knew her name but she was one of the best people. Even the front people were wonderful. Palm springs is one of the best places to go. Ive gone to ranch mirage and those people are okay but if youre going to go anywhere, go to the Palm springs area. They are amazing!

Walk in welcome . Brilliant. I was in the area and needed some x-rays ordered by my new podiatrist so I skeptically stopped in. The waiting area was about half full. No wait at the receptionist who took my credentials and did everything necessary in a few minutes. I paid co-pay and 10 minutes later I was called in to the back. Another 10 minutes I was on my way home. Walk ins welcome. Bravo!

Today was a much better experience than last week when I sat for over an hour and eventually rescheduled for today. My wait time today was 22 minutes and the reception lady was quite nice. The technician was excellent at explaining the process step by step. There are secure lockers for your items. The bathroom is very clean. Today was an excellent experience.

Every stingray didn’t take too long didn’t have to wait too long and everybody was very helpful. Except for I called the front desk trying to get specific directions because I couldn’t find the location and nobody ever answers their phone At the front desk. So that was my only complaint and I left messages and when I mentioned it to them, nobody had any clue anybody called or they were messages so I suggested they get on the ball on that one.

I could not be any happier than with the service I received at your office! The receptionists were friendly and efficient and I was seen at my appointment time, no waiting. The best part however was the technician who performed the mammogram - oh no. Forgot her namePLEASE add it to this review. Laura ?She was the most caring and attentive to getting me exactly well positioned for thebest results. I was there for several tests. They moved me swiftly from one procedure to the next through out the morning. Very efficient! I was afraid Id be left sitting, but that was not the case at all. All the employees, from the front desk and all of the technicians were so so friendly, courteous, and caring. It was a very smooth and soothing experience. I suffer from anxiety and was stressing over these procedures all in one day, but they made it a much better experience than expected. Thank You Desert Advanced Imaging!!😊🙏👍

I’m extremely claustrophobic. The technicians caged my hips so I couldn’t move, wrapped my feet so I couldn’t move.. and slid me into a waffle maker looking machine for a 40 minute expedition. The inability to move, though necessary became unbearable and I was forced to hit the “eject” button. The technician immediately answered and informed me there was only a short time span left for the sequence. I was then removed and allowed to relieve the pressure on my left side before completing the last set of images. It made a huge difference. I am thankful for the attentive staff, and the compassion they demonstrated. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this facility. Please give my personal thank to the technicians who performed this procedure. Amazing professionals

Wait time online said 26 minutes, but we were seriously in and out in 15 minutes and I didn’t have my daughters insurance card but I was willing to pay for x-rays out of pocket, but the girl did her magic and found my daughter in the system. Best imaging center all around.. every time I’m in there they’re quick polite and efficient.

I have been going to DAI for 14 years. Never had a complaint. The staff are always polite and friendly. The wait is not to long. Radiologists are courteous, fast and caring. The whole place is clean, cool, light and airy even in the middle summer. Thank you!

The front desk was informed & efficient. I didnt wait once it was my appt time. My Tech, Samantha was so very kind to me. I just got out of the hospital Mon. lots of pain from lying in hard surface for 2 studies totally I think it was 90 mins. She was compassionate, excel with her injection if contrast & Im a hard stick. Understanding of my need to get off the table 2 times in-between studies. Big thx to SAMANTHA ☺️☺️

I needed 2 X rays taken. Walk ins welcome but the wait was 3 hrs. 3rd attempt online and I finally reach a person. Can you make me an appointment over the phone? In a very thick accent begins reading a long script. The same one I had just seen online which was no joy. Since he didn’t know the meaning of the words, he thought he answered my question. Nope, start over. What time does the business open? Not sure about specific locations because there are thousands of these money making machines? Seriously?I showed up at 7am to find a handful of patients already agitated in the waiting room.The processing agent did their job as fast as possible with zero emotion.1. You cannot make an appt for an X ray. It’s walk in only.2. Only during certain hours on certain days of the week do they allow walk ins!3. I was seen at 8am by a friendly tech who did the X-rays and I was gone in 5 minutes.The 3rd person seeking X rays this morning was told it would be a 2.5 hour wait. Patients were frustrated and it made a tough job even tougher for the processors. So be nice, it’s not their fault the process is horribly confusing to so many of us.

When I arrived the check-in desk person said that my appointment was 1 hour later than the THREE texts they sent me confirming the time I arrived. She said I could wait and they would try to fit me in early. Fortunately they were able to do that and I was able to get it done at the confirmed time they had set up for me. Otherwise the procedure itself was fine. But clearly they had a scheduling error.

I was very impressed with the good customer service at this location. I called yesterday to schedule my appointment and I was offered one this morning. That was amazing. Also, the front staff was very helpful and friendly, there was no waiting in line and the check in process was very smooth and quick, and after I checked in, I was called immediately. My appointment only took about 20 minutes total. I was in and out very quickly and I really enjoyed this experience. The imaging technician was very efficient and knowledgeable. I loved how the imaging room had a section for me to change my clothing to allow for more privacy and convenience to do everything in the same room with the technician. All staff were very professional. I walked out of there feeling so good and I felt I was given wonderful customer service!!!! Highly recommended this place to anyone who needs x-rays!!!🩻

Be prepared for the staff wanting you to do everything online prior, but then asking you for your ID and insurance card again at the appt. Makes no sense. They also now have a new $40 no insurance covered procedure they are pushing. I opted out hoping that the equipment that they have there for the people that can’t afford the extra $40 still does the job properly. The person who screened me was absolutely wonderful and I will hope in the future I get her. She was very calming and she did a great job. Place needs an update though.

Have been going to Desert Advanced Imaging since I moved out to the desert 25 years ago. They have always been very quick, and very attentive to my needs during each visit. I also like the fact that they are open till 6:00. Makes it easier to schedule and not have to miss work. Highly recommend.

I was dubious about the walk-in for X-rays instead of appointment. The app is good showing wait-times and availability for several locations so I picked one reasonably close with openings it said in 1 and half hours. Go there, check in, young girl was nice to the boomer (me). Sat down for 5 minutes and boom! They call me, 10 minutes later I’m done. Everyone was SO nice and efficient! Wow. That’s so rare in medical settings. Nice is common but never efficient. Wait, wait, wait, ok now this will pinch a bit, lol. Great app, better people.

I was early but checked in by a new employee who, apparently, did not follow through. I feel she should have been monitored more closely. I sat there for an hour before I went back to the desk to question how long I was to wait. At that point they called me in immediately. Unfortunately, the waiting room was filled with people who thought I wanted to hear what they were watching on their phone. I didn’t.The young woman who did my mammogram was cheerful, charming, and made me forget the irritations of the waiting room.

The people there were very nice and patient with me as I needed a wheel chair and they brought one out to the car and pushed me inside and to the room for my appointment then pushed out to the lobby. The receptionist called for my transportation home then pushed me to the car when it arrived. They were very understanding and as I said, patient with me. I was only there for about 20 to 30 minutes.

Not horrible - had a stat order from a doc down the road so I was a “walk in.” Waited 40min to be called, and then my procedure took less than 10min.Front ofc staff could have been a bit nicer - I got snapped at to “sign the list” when I tried to hand them the doc’s order, annnnnd they had the list behind the glass. So - how was i supposed to sign it??? I wasn’t the only one that got a little bit of attitude. (Be nice to the patients, please. Some of them are older and can’t hear you with the bulletproof glass barrier and TV blaring overhead - The TV is on so loud you can’t hear you name being called.)The waiting room atmosphere is akin to DMV.

I walked in at 8 a.m. for my x rays. I wasn’t seen until 9:20 a.m. i was told to come in at 8 a.m. as that was the least busy time! I had tried to make an appointment online but it wouldn’t let me. Even the receptionist said most people can’t figure it out. It seems ridiculous you cant easily make an appointment online!!The x-ray technician was great.

I was contacted by Palm Desert office. When I arrived on time to Palm Desert at 4:50 P.M. in the afternoon I waited in line, to than be told my appointment was scheduled at Palm Springs. They told me I would have to reschedule... I said no, this was not my fault and drove to Palm Springs office. They waited for me, and were very nice. But that mix up was horrible. I showed the girl the text I received from Palm desert. Please be careful about changes in location.

Everything and everyone was extremely pleasant and friendly! I have never had appts that went so smoothly! 2 appointments booked back to back and it’s like both clinicians were waiting for me! No down time, no long waits. Both were very competent in their procedures and both very professional. And even the check in girl was top notch. Wish I could have got everyone’s names, but I didn’t. I will plan to always use this facility yearly for my imaging needs as long as Kaiser allows me to. Great job!

Easy parking, easy check-in, quickly for me in and out. Just a pleasant experience. Better than all the other sites die imaging. Pick this one out of every other imaging place. I showed up at a different one just as a bus load of others showed up. It would have been an hour but I went to this one and it was 10 minutes total time from walking in, imaging, showing insurance cards, and leaving, 10 minutes. Staff was friendly and efficient and quick but not pressured to be in a hurry. Just superior in every way. Thanks.

Lowest possible stars because of the horrendous difficulties scheduling an exam. The online system would not accept the specific exam required (MRI brain with carotids with contrast), so I had to use the telephone-based scheduling system. Called a 760 number and, after the usual long series of press this, press that, I got ... you guessed it! ... the Philippines! Scheduler spoke heavily accented English, could not understand anything she said, and neither could she understand the type of exam I needed. I finally gave up and hung up. I will go elsewhere.

Lots of emails and text messages to complete paperwork online and for appointment reminders. I completed all of my paperwork online. 2/26/24 When I arrived at the front desktge receptionist asked me for a copy my drivers license and insurance card. I told her I already completed it online. Then pure silence and a grueling face as she looked on her computer. After a few minutes I asked her if she found it. She said, Yes. Then she handed me a few papers and told me to take the elevator to the second floor and follow the signs. I looked around and did not see an elevator. So I asked people in the waiting room and they told me where it was. The xray tech for the Dexa scan was professional, joyful, and informative about the procedure.

Perhaps under a mistaken impression, my doctors staff informed me that I would receive a scheduling call within a couple of days after the order for an ultrasound was sent electronically. After the passage of five business days, I called the scheduling number that I had been given for Advanced Imaging and was told that no order was received. My doctors office then confirmed to me that the order had been sent. I waited another week and stopped at a nearby Advanced Imaging clinic. The person at the counter said that my electronic order was reflected online but that I had to call to schedule an appointment. I called and this time a scheduler acknowledged receipt of the order. After about five minutes of my provision of personal information, the call terminated without explanation. I called back and reached a very helpful and friendly person, who ultimately explained that the doctors orders for an ultrasound of two areas in my neck had to be recoded in order for the ultrasound to be conducted during one visit. He actually called my doctors office while I held and then assisted me in scheduling an ultrasound.The subsequent, numerous emails that I received, requesting that I upload the doctors order (already provided), my insurance card and photo ID (already provided and uploaded during my in-person attempt to schedule the ultrasound, and other information were confusing. Two or three emails reminded me of the time and date of my appointment and requested that I confirm my intention to attend the visit. I confirmed. A subsequent Voicemail message contained the wrong time of the appointment (7:30 vs. 7:20), and a final email contained the visit date with the time missing.The radiology technician and assistant who conducted the ultrasound were friendly and efficient. The workers behind the check-in counter are efficient but not friendly, and that applies to my first visit when I attempted to schedule an appointment in person and the visit for my ultrasound--not one smile or mannerism of friendliness in two visits. The staff sit behind counter-to-ceiling plexyglass and theyre difficult to hear (not their fault). But the universal sign of warmth and friendliness would be visible through the glass to patients, some of whom I presume are facing serious illness and injury.All of this said, I will return to Advanced Imaging, if needed, for further diagnostic tests or treatment.

Lousy manner and method of getting an appointment. I received voicemails from a centralized location. When I return those calls be a sister tried to schedule me in a city one hour away and acted like I was the dummy when I finally did get to the Palm Springs location via sister was condescending and insisting that I be at the office 20 minutes ahead of my appointment. I asked that forms be sent to me, but was told that was not possible. Later the forms were in fact sent to me. Also, the appointment seem to be moved up to 20 minutes, even though the forms were now in my possession finally when I was handed the paperwork at the front desk, they were offensive comments that have been included in the comment section by the person who had made the appointment all very sad and ridiculous Way of doing business.

Omkar, my tech, was great! I was in the tube 40 mins but he gave me breaks and always told me how much longer. He gave me a blanket (cozy!) and something to cover my eyes which I highly recommend both. Felt very safe & taken care of & nearly fell asleep. I got OPEN MRI and it is a MUCH better than closed. Excellent experience overall.

Brianna at Desert Advanced imaging scheduling department went above and beyond to make sure that my referrals and appointments were scheduled. She followed up with my primary care doctor several times. When things got mixed up with multiple cat and mri scans, the helped me sort everything out. I was at work and didn’t have all the numbers I needed for for doctors etc, she provided all the numbers and addresses I needed and attached referrals so other facilities could easily find them. My appointment was scheduled for 10:30. I checked in 10 minutes before my appointment time as a courtesy to your schedule. People checked in and arrived after me and was seen before me. I didn’t get seen until almost 30 minutes later. When I questioned the delay, the reception clerk, rudely interrupted me before I could complete verbal concerns, I found that to be rude and inconsiderate. Fortunately the technician conducting my exam was nice, but she too did not apologize for the delay. Your staff should acknowledge show accountability for delays, instead of justifying the delay. There is no justification.

When I registered for an appointment with the scheduler, I told them that I was claustrophobic and would be taking Valium. The receptionist on the day of my appointment would not let me go through with the appointment because a radiologist was not present. At no time when I scheduled the appointment was I told that a radiologist had to be at the facility. The lead receptionist was downright rude. At no time was an apology given and actually I was blamed for taking the valium that the doctor prescribed for me. I was told I had to see a radiologist to be able to complete my appointment. Today I completed my appointment, and I never saw or talked to a radiologist. This required me to take 1 1/2 days off work. The front desk receptionists and your schedulers need more training. The Radiology tech was wonderful polite and empathetic.

The technician was very nice, and made me feel comfortable. The only issue I have is that one of the images was extremely painful. It was the left side that apparently needed a lot of pressure. I’ve never felt such pain before.. I hope my implants or breast are not damaged. I can still feel the soreness on the left side of the breast it’s still very sore. Hope all is well.

My wife was promised open mri as she has serious clostrophobia as well as past neck and back surgeries. She was ushered into room with regular mri. She reminded technician of her needs who simply brushed them off saying essentially it wasn’t going to happen. When she asked to use a pillow, she was told no. Bottom line, never again here as we were lied to, handled poorly, and as I took her to car she was it tears from neck, back, and hand pain that just didn’t seem to matter to folks at this establishment.
