I thought I made a review before, but not seeing it. Just wanted to update. I hadnt gone back to the office in a few years, single mom, a lot of life changes, just not making time for myself etc. I came back and not only did Dr. Fisk remember me, she welcomed me and was so nice and I immediately remembered how much I enjoyed the previous visits. My skin was in poorer shape this time around but she did some magic and prescribed some potions and just a few weeks later and I am so happy with my results. I literally havent felt this good about myself in as long as I can remember. This is also the first time in my adult life that I dont feel the need to cover everything on my skin with makeup. Its actually beautiful! I am so happy, thank you Dr. FISK!! 💖💖💖

Dr. Okman is a kind, caring, honest, extremely knowledgeable and skilled dermatologist. I entrust my total skin care to him, and gladly drive from Vallejo to Petaluma to be his patient. I went to see Dr. Okman for all over skin check. He found small melanoma, only top skin layer. He is very funny and has great bedside manner making you feel comfortable during appointments and the surgery. Staff is great too. On time and he answers your questions. Will recommend to others. Also, got me in promptly without the referral runaround!

I have been a patient at this practice for several years now. I see Dr. Fisk for both cosmetic and medical concerns, and she provides the best care! She is very patient and takes extra time to understand my treatment goals for different procedures (which is very helpful for extra particular patients like me). She checks in during and after procedures to make sure Im happy, which I really appreciate! Plus she is super nice and personable. The staff is also very friendly. I always have a great experience.

This was my first visit. I was very pleased that I had been able to register so easily by text before my visit. The receptionist was very nice, giving me history papers to fill out before my appointment. The waiting room where I sat to do this was large, clean & comfortable. I was called in for my appointment very quickly. The nurse was very efficient and told me Dr. Okman would be in shortly - and he was. He was very pleasant. I described my issue and we discussed it. I appreciated his explaining the situation thoroughly. I did not feel rushed as I have with some other doctors. He told me in detail what procedure he would recommend using and we discussed it. He asked how I felt about it, and I said I was ready to go ahead with it. I was happy with what was done. I will definitely return to Dermatology Associates of the Bay Area!

Front desk folks aren’t very helpful when scheduling. On the phone or in person you get a vibe that you are inconveniencing them with your presence.I went in for Botox injections and the nurse/medical assistant haggled with me on the number of units. I usually get 16, was considering 20. She told me she had already entered 20 so I had to go with that @ $15 a unit when others in the area are offering at a better price. When asked if they price match I got a smug and firm no.All that said, Dr. Okman is great. He’s taken good care of me, he is personable and always asks about my twin babies who are on the way. I’ll only continue as a patient because of him and will get my Botox elsewhere to reduce how often I have to interact with the rest of the team.

I realize that this is already a business that, at least to some degree, makes money off of others insecurities. But, Dr. Krasnoff actually worked to CREATE insecurity. In a 12 year old, no less. My daughter was there for an entirely different reason, and Dr. Krasnoff took it upon herself to recommend acne treatment (to a child with TWO pimples- we counted in the car afterwards). Far more upsetting, though, is that Dr. Krasnodar and I spoke about this before she went into the room and I explicitly told her NOT to raise it w/ my daughter as neither of us see it as a concern (and, its very clearly not a medical issue). I doubt she stood to monetarily benefit from this particular insecurity she attempted to create in my tween daughter; maybe always looking to “fix” others’ appearances is simply ingrained into those in this specialty. Upsetting, unethical practice. Two stars because the laser treatment she did seems to have been effective. Not worth the other, more significant, damage though.Update- the hair ALL returned, so the three sessions that cost hundreds of dollars were entirely worthless.

She regardless of restrictive insurance medical groups does not take 5 minutes for a pimple and 5 minutes for skin cancer as billing and profits are not her agenda . She speaks in Latin terms but also if a patient as I ask for a simple explanation she gives it . Recommend this entire. Modern but old fashion dedicated to helping others dermatologist and cancer doctor !!! More than 5 stars !

Dr. Fisk is amazing! She understood exactly how I was struggling with my skin and treated it accordingly. I have never felt like I was actually changing my skin for the better; I have always been so insecure but with Dr. Fisks help, my skin is transforming and I am so happy. Amanda did such an amazing job explaining everything during my first peel. She was extremely knowledgeable and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole appointment. Today was my first visit with her to do an annual mole check and she was kind, patient, answered all of my questions, gave me a lot of insightful information as well as froze off some items on my skin. She made me feel very comfortable and that she truly cares about her patients. Unfortunately, I have had a lot of experience for a host of medical problems over the last 15 years or so.Fortunately, I had the good fortune, no more like blessed, to undertake care here for some new problems one of which was extremely unpleasant and painful problem.From the first time a I called to make an appointment and until now, about eight months later, everyone here has treated me with the utmost of attention, kindness and quality care. I cannot imagine being better attended to anywhere.I like to think that other people in other areas can get similar care, but I can only imagine the best providers anywhere could only be equal because I cannot imagine anyone other(s) being better.I have been treating and continue to treat here three days per week (for UVB therapy) and every visit makes for one of the highlights of my day. Although I am essentially in remission (thanks to these people), for all I know the three days per week could last for the rest of my life. Hopefully not, but if it were to happen that way, I would look forward to each and every visit.

I went to Dermatology Associates about 6 months ago, my skin has never looked and felt better. Not only did I get answers and a treatment plan that day, but ALL of my questions were finally answered. I was thoroughly instructed how to use the products I was given and I felt like they had my best skin interests in mind. I do not normally get complimented on my skin, now I get them all the time. Love this place! Staff is great, products are affordable, and it actually WORKS!

On my first visit, after seeing a different dermatology practice for many years, Dr. Jennifer Krasnoff diagnosed melanoma-in-situ on my back, got a quick turnaround time at the UCSF Pathology Lab, and scheduled the excision within the week.Its no exaggeration to say She saved my life. Amanda, the Esthetician at the Petaluma office is a star. She is personable, professional, explains why and what she is doing and always knows exactly what my skin needs.She thinks in the long term and without having to use the more expensive laser and filler solutions, my skin looks better now, in my late sixties, than it did when I turned 50.I never feel that she is rushing me through to accommodate her next client, but rather that I am her only appointment for the day. No question goes unanswered or solution unexamined.I swear I left that office today looking ten years younger. Please never leave, Amanda.Next is Dr. Fisk and her assistant, Aura.I had been going to Dermatology Associates for about two years for psoriasis, which was getting worse, not better, in spite of a small tub of ointments and creams that had been prescribedfor me. I had one foot out the door and was going to make an appointment with a Dermatologist at UCSF who had been recommended to me by another psoriasis sufferer.I dreaded the commute but felt desperate. While discussing this with the office manager,Aura overheard me. She urged me to give a new member of the staff, Dr. Fisk a try.Finally, this miserable skin condition is improving and in some places in remission. Without leaving Petaluma. My daughter saw a dermatologist at Dermatology Associates of the Bay Area to have a wart removed from her neck. The doctor told us at the time that if the wart didnt come off we could return for a follow-up visit free of charge. We waited for the wart to fall of which it never did. When I called to schedule another appointment I was told we would have to pay full price again for having the same procedure that didnt work the first time. We did not return and I strongly recommend to find a different dermatologist for anyone considering this one.
