I would have to say that I had the most desirable experience in this Denny’s. I usually always dread eating at Denny’s and after reading several reviews of this one I went expecting the same result however to my surprise it wasn’t the case. The place was extremely clean, food cooked to perfection and waitresses were friendly with the perfect amount of interaction with customers and not overly checking up on you and not abandoning you either! Well done Team thank you for the wonderful experience keep up the good work!

Great place to enjoy breakfast with a nice atmosphere! Dawn the manger was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. As far as a truck stops with a Dennys goes, its great. Its never very busy here. We stopped in for dessert. Had the red white and blue pancakes with strawberries on top.

I was pleasantly surprised. This is a really good Dennys. Not what I expected from a 24 hour diner at all. I would recommend it, especially if you have ever been disappointed by a Dennys. This one will change your mind.Overnight is hard, made harder by minimal staffing during the graveyard shift. Both the waiter and cook were handling it quite well though.I had to wait for a while before I was allowed to place my order. The cook didnt want to rush things and send out bad food.That is fine. I came in to sit down and rest anyway. Read a book for a few minutes, got some coffee, and let them catch up.I am happy to wait when the food is worth it. It is definitely worth it here, at least during the overnight shift. This cook means BUSINESS.Crepes were light, fluffy, and ever so slightly crispy at the edges. Strawberries on top worked out very well.Eggs great. Barely crisped on the outside to seal in the juiciness inside.Hash browns crispy, delicious, and the perfect texture where they dont fall apart until you want a bite.Bacon was at that great halfway point where it is crispy and cooked but not brittle, like a chip.They even got some water for my service dog and had nothing but nice things to say about her.I read my book, finished my coffee, and hung around until the Fat and Happy feeling had faded enough to walk again.Try it out. You will be pleasantly surprised too.

My husband went to pick up his online order. His first name starts with a T, and last name Y so he uses Ty when he orders, but his first name will show on the receipt. The lady that works overnight would not give him his food she claimed that people kept stealing food, but my husband was trying to show her his online order and she was acting like she didn’t want to see it?? Who does that. If you need to verify you look at the online order the customer has. My husband is foreign and has an accent so I pretty sure she was profiling because it didn’t make sense. It wasn’t until my husband became visibly upset that she finally gave the food over. Weird behavior she should go sit her behind at home at a computer desk.

The quality and value at these stops vary widely. This store; definitely in that upper third.The things you want... food that comes out hot, restaurant that is kept swept with no sticky tables, and a staff that is courteous are found here in Ripon.Jeanette is responsible for a lot of that in this review...because I appreciate those who help road warriors feel like a regular when we drop in for perhaps even our first visit ever ( which it was for me).Stuff like that goes a long way in starting the day out right.I had the chorizo skillet. Got pancakes instead of toast, and was made to feel welcomed in just sitting back and relaxing after the meal.Im sure others here that are just as Impressive but for me it was Jeanette today.Thank you Dennys!

Been to this Flying J a few times but never ate at the Dennys. The service was awesome, the plate of nachos was delicious! Had my drink refilled before it was even half gone. Ill definitely be coming back here in the future!

Okay so I go in and theres two people sitting at tables there are none of the employees out I stand at the counter for almost 10 minutes when somebody comes to the window and says oh Ill be with you shortly. Then two men walk in behind and now the waitress is available for them. She walks past me says good morning to the men gets menus, napkins and silverware. Then seats them and takes their drink order. She then proceeds to me. I order the New Stuffed Strawberry French Toast Meal. Pay that price. I get handed French toast with strawberry syrup, a piece of bacon and 1 egg over medium. This Is Not My Order!!!! No Tip!!! I could not wait for a reorder because I am a truck driver working and this was my meal for the day. Thank you for making what you wanted me to eat and not what I ordered.

Cycling tour from Oregon to Mexico. Stopped in for dinner and everything was fine. Set up camp and after a good nights rest returned in the morning for coffee, a light breakfast and to give my devices a final charge.I was greeted by a very rude woman who seemed to have some personal problem with me. After I was there for approximately 15 minutes she told me there was a time limit that I needed to order and leave in. She said the electricity wasnt free and that I couldnt use it unless I ordered food with my coffee. I explained I was drinking coffee first then I would order to which she stated, again, that I needed to order and eat so she could move me along, implying that they needed the room. There were 3 tables occupied. I was appalled. As a senior Id never been treated so rudely over simply using one outlet and trying to have breakfast.Not really a slight on Dennys, the staff the night before was excellent. Friendly, helpful and attentive. But this woman should not be working there.

If I could give a negative rating, I would for this location. Visiting a restaurant is not just about the food; it’s about the experience. My recent visit to Denny’s inside the Flying J Truckstop was anything but pleasant, and I believe potential customers should be aware.I walked into Denny’s at approximately 2 am, hoping for a quiet and enjoyable meal. There were hardly any patrons - just two others. The waitress seated me promptly and handed me a glass of water. Appreciating the courtesy, I asked for a couple of minutes to decide on my meal. However, that was where the decent service ended.15 minutes later, with my patience thinning, the waitress who was supposed to attend to me had not returned. To my surprise, I spotted her across the dining room, sitting leisurely. Given the lack of activity, I couldnt understand the delay. Opting for directness, I called out to her, intending to get her attention.Regrettably, my effort was met with unprofessionalism and hostility. She confronted me about not approaching her directly, to which I highlighted the considerable waiting time. Her retort was that she was busy, though it was clear that this was far from the truth. I asked her if she was done and The cherry on top was her flat-out refusal to serve me, stating, “I’m done, I don’t want to serve you.” With shock I politely asked if she was serious. She replied “YES!” Therefore, I decided to leave the restaurant.The audacity and disrespect were shocking. Its hard to believe that Denny’s would condone or allow such behavior. With that level of attitude, it doesnt stretch the imagination to think that other night-time customers might have faced similar treatment. Whats even more disheartening is the realization that there might not be any repercussions for such conduct. If shes displayed this behavior before and still holds her position, it paints a dim picture of Dennys priorities concerning customer service.I expected much more from a reputed chain like Denny’s. Potential diners, especially during late-night hours, be prepared; your experience may not be the comforting diner atmosphere you anticipate.P.S. Went for fathers day with the in-laws. Had a very nice time. Our waitress Carmen was super nice, and very attentive, we were never wanting for drink refills.She answered all our questions and realized we were both allergic to pineapples, which was an interesting coincidence. She was waiting a lot of other tables and still found time to attend to us with a wonderful attitude, and the focus to remember our needs.We had a great time, the food was very good and better plated then a lot of Dennis.My father-in-law ordered the salmon and was pleased with its quality. Carmen then told us about the new was of cooking and suggested we try the steak. I got a breakfast this time but almost ordered the steak but I was a bit nervous about the way its be cooked (Ive ordered steak at other Dennies and its often a little...odd) but she convinced me :)) Ill be ordering steak next time.My wife ordered the pot roast, let me taste it and man, kinda wish Id ordered that. My family and I often eat at Dennys as they do kids eat free. Tonight our waiter charged us for the kids and said it was a recent change per the manager Shawn. The other waitress was going to fix it for us as we were not aware of the new rule that kids eat free only on Tuesdays and Saturdays now. The original waiter was adamant that we pay. We have not had a problem until now and will not be dining there as frequently. The place was also dead and now theyve lost more business. I understand changes but we were not happy with the way it was handled, especially by our waiter Francesco.

I live in Salida Ca and choose to drive to Ripon Dennys for the customer service and food quality.Our last visit was the best. Our server Shelly was amazing! Very attentive and patient when my daughters and I couldnt decided what to order.She gave great food recommendations and we never felt rushed or left alone.My twin daughters, along with myself all thought that Shelly deserved a really good tip. Our heart was extremely happy to personally give our biggest tip ever.I spoke with the manager and explained that our server was great. I told her that my daughter wanted to give Shelly the tip out of her own money. The money she earned while helping prepare for the Celebration of Life of our favorite Aunt/Great Aunt. It was such a touching token since it was our aunts tradition to give that specific amount that we tipped.Rip Elise Simpson your memory and traditions will live on.

Went to Denny’s this morning with my elderly mother and her friends. The ‘hostess’ was extremely rude just because we had one more guest show up that was unexpected. We had to move to a larger table. The hostess who was a young, thin, pale redhead said “ you told me there was going to be four” and I said someone else showed up unexpectedly. She said “well next time be sure”. Such an unnecessary and rude response. I will never go there again.

Only to watch the shift manager I think explain why she is constantly on her one of I can guess two staff members to make him a better employee with a sense of urgency!? The item I wanted to order is on the full menu, but cant order online from it. What happens at 10pm that makes phone in orders impossible? Went in and waited half an hour to get seated, another half hour for our drink order. We left and went across the street to Dannys. Highly recommend them. One person working there, still faster than the half dozen at dennys. Food was fresh and hot.

Burger was good but the pot roast had almost no meat and was sour...was thinking of sending it back but too tired for the hassle. Maybe pass on the pot roast? *Update* we ate multiple meals here over our 34 and everything was spot on. That sizzling spicy dinner skillet was surprisingly tasty and of course my wife was very very happy that they had that salmon. Its hard to get from what I hear. So to wrap it up they must have tightened up that kitchen. I have to mention the wait staff was wonderful everytime I have been here.

The food isnt amazing, but its Dennys what are you expecting?The staff is friendly, quick to seat you and very attentive. Bob’s Burgers Carrie the founder name after I ordered the meal the hamburger it was not as described in the menu the hamburger supposed to be 10 oz. So since they don’t have in their stock that size of hamburger they stuffed the buns with two small hamburger on the top of each other good that I look before I bite. If I could give a negative star I would. I sat and waited a good 5 minutes while at least 4 different fat ugly waitresses and the manager kept walking by me and couldnt even take my order. Not to mention they literally stood there staring at me and blabbering about god knows what instead of doing a job they do horribly at. And yet these people expect 15 dollars an hour for a job a trained monkey could do better. We stopped here to have lunch 4-4-18. The new menu had just come out, and a new promotion for the Solo Star Wars movie. We purchased a pack of the trading cards, and in the pack was a 20% off entire guest check discount card. When we tried to use the discount, the register failed to accept it, and we were given the bs excuse that since we had just purchased the pack of cards that the discount came in, we couldnt use the discount. The expiration time frame on the discount card is 4-3-18 through 7-27-18. There is no way for them to know if we had the discount card from a previous visit or if that was the card we just received from the pack of trading cards. When we decided to give up trying to use the 20%, we handed over the Driver Appreciation discount card for 10% off, and the cashier had to go get change. It took her 3-5 minutes to return with our change but, she couldnt find/figure out where the 34 cents was for the rest of the change. Apparently, the registers had a problem opening the drawer that had money in them. This is not the first time weve had problems at various Dennys restaurants, specially those located in Truck Stops. We are to the point of completely boycotting Dennys altogether. We are truck drivers and it is hard for us to find a decent sit down restaurant where we can park our truck. Restaurants like this have a captive audience and know they will have another butt in the seat as soon as someone leaves, so they dont have to give their best to each customer, or any of them for that matter.

Its a Dennys at a Pilot/Flying J... Food and Service are always a hit and miss... today it was average. The one server on duty was overwhelmed by a few occupied tables, trying to bus tables and expedite orders in the kitchen window, but still had time to carry on a conversation with his female friend sitting at the lunch counter. As far as the food, it was served hot and fresh. I ordered 2 eggs and a side of bacon a la carte. The bacon was cooked ahead of time. The eggs were cooked to order. Overall, not the best but far from the worst. The server managed to keep his composure and managed to work his way through the rushes as they came and went.

Im giving 3 stars for TWO reasons, & TWO reasons only: the food was delicious & came out of the kitchen in less than 10 minutes, & our server Joanna. She waited on us hand & foot.. as well as everyone else in the restaurant. Even people who werent in her section. She did the job of the other 3 servers & the busboy as well, cleaning tables, seating incoming patrons, taking orders, bringing orders, refilling drinks. She did it all, with poise, aplomb, & grace. I go in I grab a menu and I order to go. Upon looking at the appealing menu I order the loaded bacon steak potato sirloin skillet . This meal is 10.68 plus tax Hence the word loaded is a big joke. host says sir it will be ready in 10 mins. My order finally came fries were still skimpy but the big burger makes up the difference but Im still freakin hungry because they just dont fill u up like they use to. My complaint here is Dennys has changed a good bit from what I can remember. Before they treated there customers fairly now a days the owners are crooks trying to rip us customers off. Beware of what your ordering from them the menu looks great but I dont think I will be going back here again only to be deceived. Theres many customers out there that look the other way and still accept this treatment and is the sole reason why Dennys keeps doing it. My advice if your trying to eat... Go elsewhere

Words really cannot describe the horrible experience I had at this Dennys. 1st). The place was super busy. It was early morning breakfast rush, which my husband and I didnt mind. 2nd.) Our waitress, well she seemed upset, and just impolite, or a little frustrated, we just assumed that it was the morning rush, and so we ate and kinda brushed it off. 3) So as we go to check out, my husband whom is Military, ask for his usually 10% military discount, (that we always get at ANY Dennys that we have ever gone to, we travel the country, so we eat at Dennys ALOT). Well the cashier says we cant give you your military discount, because you need you actually military I.D., not a drivers license thats has VETERAN mark on it. (Which is what my husband uses for all of his military discounts.) So the cashier says I can get my boss, and he can work something out from there. Ok fine. So he walks up, complete with attitude, Immedietly starts attacking us, my husband states that his drivers license is perfectly fine to be used as military I.D., as he uses it for that all the time, even with police. The manger was so rude, he told us that we dont know anything, and that we are unable to comprehend. I lost it, completely. No one, especially management, should not EVER treat a customer the way he treated us that day, he spoke down to us, he yelled at us. Well I basically told him who he was, and what he could do with that, and at the end, his employee said, Try working for him. So, this man comes to work everyday, thinking he is above others, including his employees, just because his name badge says manager, so he thinks that gives him the right to talk down to his staff, and the customers. I eventually ask him for his supervisor number, and he gave me some random number. Long story short, they lost a customer.

Restaurant is good. Friendly prompt service decent food and prices... The lot sucks ass. Bathrooms are hit and miss as it is a busy truck stop.

They took 30 minutes to seat us & we were waiting for our food but they lost our order & we left. Horrible service
