Lets go to Dennys after were done setting up the Leadtip Autoloader he tells me.. because these woods give me the creeps! I tell him...Look, youre the one that wanted to see how it works so calm down and pay attention. Well, we got it set up to launch its projectiles at everything that comes within 100 feet of the cabin, and with enough darts to last all summer. As I was securing the cabin that little nosewiper loaded the damn thing and it got a round off before I could get to it, causing a trip to the ER.But...We went to Dennys first, after all it was dinner time. The food was amazing and my waitress even cut my porkchop so I could pick up the slices with my left hand. 4 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Food was good. Had a steak and egg special even though most places dont cook it well.Had to wait like 5 minutes to get a menu after they told me to seat myself. Waitress came back once and I never saw her again. By the way the place was empty so not busy. I never got a check just left money on the table. Bad part was she ended up getting a pretty good tip because I didnt have change

Good food & nice time with the family. My server seemed really tired though. They work some tough hours!Went again yesterday for lunch & my server was not very friendly. Even took my soup without asking if I was done. I wasnt. Didnt ask many questions I did the asking but my food was great just not the service. Maybe he was stressed due to it being busy. Sad good food & stressed servers.

Got my free Everyday Slam breakfast today. Rising prices everywhere have made the relative stability of Dennys menú very attractive. My favorite server was there today. Elizabeth is a cheery and attentive server that makes every meal better. Maybe IDennys is not gourmet Michelin rated but it is convenient and affordable.

So Dennys is one my favorite places to common eat breakfast their burgers are fire . I always appreciate the service I have except my experience she did forget my toast but Im not gonna mark any points because I love Dennys that much Ive never been done wrong the employees are always nice every time I go to any Dennys. The workers at this location are incompetent. If you are a doordash driver, do not pick up orders here. I drive out here to pick up a doordash order and the lady says she gave it to someone else. Here’s an idea: confirm the order. Don’t partner with doordash if you do not know how to use the service and if you’re not going to confirm the order is going to the right dasher. Waste of my time and money. Workers response: just cancel the order. Here’s food for thought: would you want to not be getting paid to work? Because when a dasher has to cancel and order we do not get paid for it. Let’s also talk about mileage. It’s not that hard to confirm the order before handing it off . Mind you I contacted support on my end, which they then contacted the dennys asking for them to remake the order. They were not willing to, so I was unable to receive the full payment on if I were to have delivered this order. I went back in to speak with the worker and let them know how this effects drivers…she did not return back to the counter. Avoid.

Went early a.m. The waitress ignored us after taking the order. No coffee refill until another couple showed up, and we were the only people in there until then.She had actually mentioned when seating is we were the first in hours..My poached egg arrived as a fried egg. She told us the cook was tired. My husband didnt get his toast. Had to go find her. By the time he got it, he was halfway through an omelette, and irritable.She went off duty, and was replaced by a good waitress after it was too late

This is my local Dennys. The dining room is always clean and the food is always hot and yummy.If you can have breakfast with Patsy as your server youre really in for a treat. Patsy is kind and friendly, she is attentive and takes good care of her people. We love her and will be very sad if she ever leaves!

Our server Patsy was amazing, very friendly, & very courteous. she engaged in a small amount of conversation while continuing with all of her regular duties. Shes the best and you should give her a raise!I definitely recommend Dennys and if you have the opportunity, if youre lucky enough to get Patsy as your server then thats a bonus!!P.S. the health nut pancakes were delicious and my easy scrambled eggs were very, very good as well.

The dinning room change is nice! Noticed right away the difference without the center divider. Opened the whole place up and feels less confined. Im teetering on the food quality. Rushed and IMO downgraded with the increase in cost. Overall, Its a quiet and comfortable favorite for me. Friendly and efficient staff.

Wriley is brilliant, helpful, courteous and in general just lovely. On my first visit 2 and a half weeks ago there was a rather unsavoury bloke who was ok when he came in but quickly turned extremely odd, talking to himself and shouting profanities at other diners, she calmly asked him to leave which he did after a minute or 2, she held her ground and was fantastic. I’m glad she was our server again tonight for my second visit. When I come back to America next year I’ll definitely be visiting again….the food is really good and I wish we had these in the uk!!!

Went on a Sunday and it was pretty empty but still took close to 15 minutes to get seated. After being seated, we had 3 different people wait on us so there was a lot of confusion on their part and with our orders. The staff though were all very nice during our visit. Been a while since Ive been to Dennys. Food definitely has changed since I was there last. Unfortunately not for the better. But I get it, because they do a good job keeping their prices low so something has to suffer and thats the food quality. May be a while before I go back. But thank you staff for your kindness.

Their food is still good, however I have observed during my visits that customers, including me have had problems with the way they post their prices on the menu. Its unclear how much is covered under some of the prices for meals; an example is their slam specials and side orders. You end up paying more than expected at the register. Dennys was famous for good honest service and great quality food at a good price. In my opinion, its teetering on the edge of loosing that reputation and customers due to the above reasons.

I really love this location, as it has a very small town vibe. Another patron came and greeted every single table Happy New Year! I thought that was really sweet.Lets talk about my breakfast! I got the blueberry pancakes with strawberry and banana toppings. It also came with 2 eggs and hash browns. Really wish I could review this higher considering I grew up going to this Dennys and loved it growing up but it seems like they are going a little downhill. Staff was nice and attentive but we were not very impressed with the food. Talking to others, theyve been very consistent in serving almost rock hard biscuits which Im pretty sure isnt a staple of theirs. Everything else was fine and we were sat down very quickly.

Had the “classic” eggs Benedict however the eggs were fried over medium and not poached as they appeared pictured on the menu as classic Benedict should have. The hollandaise sauce was decent but the flavor was thrown off by the fried eggs. Hash browns were ok but a little over salted for my taste. The English muffin was also burnt but they did hold the ham and add avocado like I asked. Service was good and met expectations. Atmosphere was a little tainted by the loud music of a genre I’m not too fond of. Over all it was disappointing and probably will avoid in the future but in the end it wasn’t terribly bad, just not to my taste.

It was a perfect time to come because this particular day the restaurant was not busy. The food came out quickly and perfectly hot and tasty. Everything was clean including the rest room and parking lot. The server was all business which is to say she wasnt unfriendly but didnt really try to be attentive nor social and my tip reflected as much. Had a fun birthday dinner! An employee at CVS mentioned that she had recently gone to Dennys and that they had a robot deliver her food because they are understaffed. I just had to go see for myself. We were there for an hour and a half. Which most of the waiting was waiting to be sat and having our order taken. I noticed alot of mad faces in the restaurant. The server was nice and our food was actually hot. I noticed the wait staff didnt work together. They would pass tables and not acknowledge that no one had gotten them drinks or needed refills.

This place was bad there is one server who was nice but the wait to sit was long. Not only that but the wait for food was literally 1 hour and 30 minutes the milk was going bad which you can clearly smell. The bathrooms were terrible dirty and grime stuck everywhere. The food was not bad but you can tell it was sitting for a good while before it was brought out I feel bad for people going here. To top it all off people which were sat after us got their food first. I feel bad for the one waitress which was nice due to the fact she had to try and calm customers down from anger and work on holidays.

The experience is horrible. The food was nasty. Everytime we have gone we have had to wait forever for our food. The food we did order was cold and tasted like it was under a warmer. The hot cocoa wasnt even hot maybe luke warm. The waitress would make excuses like oh we are under staff or something like that. This was my first time in this theater. To say the least I was surprised when I walked in and found I had a bar Liquor counter in front of me and it was also a restaurant. After 5 min of ordering drinks I had to ask the waiter for my coffee. There was only one other couple. Then after waiting 40 min I asked where our food was. He said its coming shortly. Waiting almost 10 more min for our food. Then there was about 4or 5 other tables. Finally got our food and the pancakes werent done all the way and neither was the bacon. Possibly the worst dining experience of my life. We heard every excuse in the book, from being understaffed, to its not my fault but there is NEVER a reason to wait 1.5 hours for food!!! They knew before we sat down that they were understaffed because a waitress that should be fired called in an hour before her shift and a cook called in a day before their shift and yet they still neglected to inform the people they were seating that it would be a minimum of an hour before receiving any food (if the server actually got it correct). All the people who arrived at 10 a.m. did not receive their food until after 12 p.m. and the only people that received a discount were the ones who screamed about the wait. By the way, the manager was in the kitchen cooking badly and everyone who receive their food complained about it being cold. We (a party of 3/value menu) also received cold food and when we complained about it, received food with a pound of hot gravy or hot butter on top of cold food. We did not receive a discount and were not able to eat our food or talk to the manager because he was busy after an hour-and-a-half waiting. I honestly hope everyone at this location is fired and the restaurant is closed down. By the way, there way, 2 men ( obviously regulars) that came in 30 minutes after 4 of the groups in the same section arrived, and had been waiting an hour, were sat, fed, and on their way before the other 4 groups. When one of the other groups asked why they were offered a discount and shut up. Worst, by far, worst experience of the 30 or so people that Ive ever heard fight for eggs to date! Shut this place down or inform your customers of your incompetence when they walk it!!! I will be contacting the corporate office in hopes to make a change.

Pretty good diner as far as Dennys go. Our server had some good-spirited sass to her, which was an amusing change. Experienced rude service by a small guy, in his thirties, who shaves his head. He seemed to go out of his way to be rude to our table not sure why? Im a quiet person so I didnt say much. Dennys has always been a good stand by place to eat, when traveling, or at home and you just dont feel like cooking. You always know what to expect and you never disappointed. Never much surprised either, that is until last week. I had an incident with my heart which wound me up in the ICU at Marshall for 10 days. When I got out the family wanted to go to Dennys so I reluctantly tagged along. What I found out was they have a few heart healthy diets and the one I picked was exceptionally good. The price was right, the atmosphere was Dennys so all around I had a great experience. Thanks Dennys!

I wish I could talk to the owner! I get it’s a Small homophonic place, but come on. Took 30 minuets to get out food. The waitress never even checked on us. Was rude when she did talk to us. Coffee tasted really bad. She didn’t ask if we wanted creamer like she did for the other tables. We went to pay and the (I think was the manager) had to print out our receipt. Kept tapping it for us to pay. Wouldn’t listen to what we had to say. And when he finally did he talked back to us. I didn’t drink the coffee, and he processed to say “I’ve been drinking it all day, we woke 33 gallons of it”. I don’t care it was a bad cup, don’t talk back to your costumers. I grow up here, this was my favorite place to eat but now after that rudeness never again. We chose to eat at your establishment. And you chose to be rude. My food was good, but you can tell it sat in the window. You could tell that the woman didn’t want to serve us. And the guy at the register was even worse. You never talk back to your costumers! I will be making a complaint over management.

First of all I have to say I am VERY impressed with the manager, Tom. I called in a To-Go order on a busy Sun. morning, when I called back later to say Thank you Tom recognized my voice & even remembered my name! The eggs were soo perfect, exactly what I wanted & the bacon too! Oh & the oatmeal is perfect (I like it more runny than thick). Im pregnant & was really craving this, so I could not be more happy right now :)) Previously I chose to stay the heck away from Dennys (for about 8 yrs!) due to several negative experiences years ago at a diff. location, I wont say exactly what the last straw was because its gross, but basically there was something in my food that shouldnt have been there :( So you can imagine my apprehensiveness about eating at any Dennys. Since visiting this location 3-4 times my trust in Dennys (at least this location) is fully restored! Every time we go the servers are upbeat & polite making it an enjoyable dining experience, & Ive been pretty impressed with the food being cooked to order as well. Lastly its a nice atmosphere, I dont know if they re-did it or maybe there was a steakhouse there previously & they kept the design/ deco., but its a very nice setting as well. It seems like this one thats left off of Placerville Drive is one of the only ones left in Eldorado County. Their always friendly, open 24 hours, and have good appetizers you can share if you dont want an accrual meal or while your waiting for your meal.
