This is a well run Denny’s. As opposed to the very questionable Denny’s of Lancaster, who really should be out of business. Anyways. The split dyed hair hostess was so nice and got us a table within 15 minutes during the breakfast rush on a weekend. The food came out fast and fresh, with all of our requests and accommodations perfect. The waitress who took us it was her first day and she did great. It does get really packed on weekends though, which is why the atmosphere was the tiniest bit hectic. Overall good location and I recommend it here in Palmdale 😼

Went to Denny’s for a late dinner with my family, to my surprise there was only one waiter but was seated fast. Leo the waiter was fast and tentative polite and friendly. The food was good and the service was excellent and will be back to see Leo again since his friendliness was contagious and everything we order was on point. Thank you Leo.

Went recently on a trip and had an interesting experience. Management was (IMO) not the best to staff but regardless they did a great job. The hostess was so kind and prompt with getting us seated and didn’t mind my continuous questions from family lol. Overall would go again just hope again the management realizes we can see the way they act around staff :) but good food, always a great breakfast choice

Today me and my husband went to eat some breakfast and even though we had a not so great experience last time we wanted to let this Denny’s redeem itself one last time and we were not disappointed. Food was great. But what really helped me give this place a 5 star review was our Server Armando. He was amazing. He offered us things we didn’t know we could add to our meals and he was so attentive of us. He had a big bright smile. Even though he had a mask on, we could see right through it. He was so friendly and was just so pleasant. If i had the power to, id give him a raise. We need more servers like Armando. Thank you Armando!!!!!

Got the Eggs Hollandaise and loved it.Came back after being away too long, the Super Slam is still delicious and an excellent value, and the chicken bacon ranch sandwich was so good, we almost forgot to take a picture. A tip of the hat to Destiny and Daisy for their excellent service,, a well deserved five stars.

I placed an order at 6:56pm and for it to be picked up by 7:30pm. On the app it said that it was ready. I live next to this dennys, literally 3 mins away.I get there at 7:32 and they said it’s not ready. No worries. They said 3 more mins but ended up being 16 mins.The cook left my food on the counter, then the waitress came like in 2 mins. She was nice and notice it had onions which I don’t like. I appreciate her for that. I got home, and the fries were not fresh.Wish I checked them before I left. It was not busy at all, maybe like 3 families. I rather go to the Dennys near the AV Mall. Their food is fresh and hot :)The burger was good tho!

Party of 5 tonight, Breakfast is good there, but dinner is the worse. Bourbon chicken, the chicken was so stringy that two people ordered, One ordered a steak can could not eat it .. It was also lousy, one ordered a fried chicken house salad and was really not happy with it and another ordered Salmon dinner and ate it because he was really hungry but said would never eat there again..We paid the bill and left a $20,00 tip as it was not the waitress fault that it was all so bad.. we are so through with Dennys

We all know Dennys, its a decent quick bite with a good price. Here in the AV if you have kids this is one of your few choices. I am a fan of the slam and my kids love the choices as well as those cups. You know what I am talking about. After a slow start post COVID, this place is hopping again. This evening we ordered Chicken Strips and Sirloin Steak Dinners. What we expected and what we got were two different things(see photos). The food looked like it was tossed around. We had ordered from Grub Hub, and the last time it arrived the same way. I called and spoke to the temp. manager Nataly who assured me this would not happen again, and happened because of a newer employee. The date was 9/10/21 and you can see that things have not changed. The steak was tiny not looking like a full 8oz. and with both Dinners costing over $40.00 we feel ripped off . The last time was 2 Fish Dinners, both Dinners had burnt fish, the Broccoli on both plates were partially fried not just steamed as they should be and to top it off, they forgot the Dinner Bread. On this evenings order they forgot the Ranch Dipping Sauce that was requested in their check box when ordering. This happens usually when the REAL MANAGER is not around, and I am sure that was the case this Sat. Evening. We are not happy and will be contacting Corporate Office in an attempt to get it right.

Staff was incredibly rude especially the manager with red hair. It stunk like old oil and I waited probably 45 minutes to be seated. I had come for a late night dinner after my cheer competition and didn’t even get to eat. Multiple people that came AFTER me were seated before I was becuz they were friends with the host at the front. Glad I didnt eat there, it smelled awful I probably woulda got food poisoning anyway

Dennys please change servers that want to work like Salvador or Benjamin my respects to them! Everybody else needs to go Im sorry but others always have a lousy disposition. Theres a lot of us that are going to IHOP or other locations because of this issue with friendly customer service! Especially young people that dont know the responsibility of holding up a job no matter how it is. A job is a job! We were regulars there, the reason we left is because waitresses were getting sarcastic rude when regulars come at same time and sometimes ask for a certain table like if that bother them oh you guys again or if you ask for stuff they get bother as if theyre going out of their way...etc Job description: customer service waiting tables..

Recently Moved into the area, Im a fan of Dennys Build your own sampler. And it didnt disappoint. I couldnt place the order online so I called and Dominic was very helpful, patient while I gathered my order and polite. Thats the kind of customer service that should be everywhere. We were missing our apple crisp so I called and spoke to Stephanie she was also polite, helpful . She checked the kitchen and the apple crisp was in the oven. She apologized and asked if we could go pick it up she would make up for it however we just wanted to eat. So we will go tommorow. Hopefully they can double check orders more. But our food was on point 🤤😋

On the way from LA to LV, we missed our exit and ended up in Palmdale. Well, that made us hungry, and we had a hankering for soup. So we thought, why not Dennys?We ordered beef soup 🍲 and chicken fried steak. Ill tell you what, it really hit the spot. Good service, good portions, and absolutely delicious. We were pleasantly surprised. Just what the doctor ordered! The only thing that bothered me was the $4 soda. Had I paid attention, I just would have had water.Enjoy 😉 all things.

Fries on my turkey club were awesome. Not sure what that second toothpick is doing there on the sandwich....(can u see it?) the cook got excited I guess! The French Toast slam was good and our waitress rocked. The floor in the front was disgusting tho n the host wasnt capable of multitasking...not sure if well go back

Customer service here is 10/10. The employees are super nice and understanding. There was a mix up with my order and the employees were quick to fix it and remake my order. It is the small things the matter & the way they handled the mistake and treated me was excellent.

First off I would like to say I had ordered 2 of the lava cookie skillets and my cookies came out really hard to the point my sisters braces were hurting and the ice cream was already melted it ruined my experience with the lava cookie skillet but I so have social anxiety and was scared to ask for a remake or even a refund i hope this finds the right people.

The manager a female she is the rudest unprofessional person I ever met. She hired terrible staff that dont do their job correctly. They need more white people working there obviously. Some of them should get fired right away. The food is always cold and they dont know how to make decent food. Dont recommend this place. Go to rancho Vista location for a better experience.

We ordered take out.The mashed potatoes were like soup. The added chicken strip was like a chicken finger from bk, and the chicken fried steak had very little gravy. Potatoes were completely brown. Kind of a disappointment. They should make tipping a option after you receive your food.

Food here is terrible. Have been there 3 times. Thats it. No more. Service is really bad. They take forever to take your order or take order from people that got there after you. I had the Lasagna this time, instead of Salmon, and it was excellent, as was the Salmon. Ive enjoyed everything Ive ever eaten here, and Ive never been disappointed with the food, service, atmosphere or overall friendliness of the servers and people in general. Dennys is just a nice, wholesome place to go and enjoy a good meal with family, friends or by yourself.

The food is always good and the daytime servers are great. Unfortunately I recently witnessed the late night shift servers standing around talking and eating while the manager in the purple shirt (I think her name was Brenda?) bossed around one single older gentleman with in-ears (and was extremely mean and condescending to him) who was doing basically everything around the restaurant, which I didn’t think was fair. Every time he walked by she had a snide comment to make while the poor man just smiled and stayed quiet. Quite frankly watching her ruined my entire night, it was extremely off putting. They need to do better because that’s not how you treat employees EVER.

Food was completely COLD. Not enough personal working on SATURDAY NIGHT I had to return 3 plates, bc they were cold. And even so we didnt eat them, we just saw it and tried a TINY bit and was cold. The bread was hard and cold too. Omg and they tried to charge me for 3 plates that we didnt eat. NOT EVEN A SORRY nothing. Had to wait almost one (1) hour to get food served. Order salmon, mashed potatoes, and corn. The mashed potatoes were soupy and cold, the salmon looked just dull and not appetizing, the corn cold. The other order was not cooked as was requested. We left, did not eat the food. Went somewhere else.

What a great meal and superb customer service from Armando, my Waiter! Obviously Nayeli, the manager is hiring the right people. Food was very good and portions like the pre-pandemic. Tonight 10/18/22, I ordered some food for pick up, and added a large soup. I got some wrong info, so when I got to pick up I realized I only had a small cup of soup. Needless to say, I was highly disappointed and upset. The icing on the cake: My food was done in record time, almost to perfection, and I had 2 cups of soup! I was beyond delighted. It may seem like a small thing, but combined with the courtesy, professionalism and friendliness, I walked out of there feeling like a Princess!!! Shout out to the cashier and host who made my day. The hamburger I ordered for dinner was tasteless. The waitress were very nice, but bathroom was dirty with no paper towels and the hand dryer did not work. I will never go back here. The food had absolutely NO flavor. The bathroom looks like a prison cell and I had to touch the door handle because no paper towels. I wanted to place a order on line and i keep getting a message that it wasnt available, so I walk in, I had an Email about the $5.99 breakfast i order 2 and to my surprise the balance was $16.00 i was told that they dont have the $5.99 i showed her the Email and she just said im sorry Ill give you a discount, I told her thanks then she said sorry its not letting me. I like this Dennys specifically because if theres a long line I could just hop over to Jack in the box and its basically like almost the same style food. Similar pricing but Dennys is definitely an experience. They also have the coolest kids toys at the entrance of the place you just gotta put money in. The bathroom here is sketch. The food is 👍 good

I went with my daughter for dinner. It was 6:56 p.m. The place was pretty empty. Only 5 tables. They took 17 minutes to ask us what we wanted to drink and another 5 minutes to come back with the drinks. We had never waited that long on a weekday with little customers. I understand when the place is busy, but its no acceptable when the place is almost empty. We ended up ordering to go as we did not have a lot of time. The manager came to the register and did not charge us. So, I edited my review and gave them 4 stars.

Horrible experience today and we love this location. We were discriminated against by the waiter Samantha and all we were doing was taking my two year old out to eat for his birthday my husband and I. Im sure everybody has different experiences when they do come to Dennys. Ive heard it all from the wait is too long to get seated or the wait to get served too long but then again you have to think what time are you going to eat and is it a weekend? Is it a holiday? My experience was pleasant. I had a great server kept our drinks full. Offered if we needed anything throughout the entire meal and was very friendly to myself and my children. I did come in on a weekday roughly about 6 p.m. and seated right away. The only downside to this evening dinner was my BLT bacon was too crispy. Now thats not anyones fault, cooking pork has its regulations, i just wish I made a note to leave it a little chewy. Other than that 4 stars because I didnt love it but I really liked it.

With much reluctance can not shake off my experience at our local Dennys on 47th st. This morning we choose Dennys for breakfast because it truly is the BEST place for a wholesome breakfast. The cashier seated us in a booth with sticky syrup spots, that lead me to believe the table was not properly wiped up. I mentioned it to Nancy and she said it would be cleaned before serving our meal. Aftet about 10 minutes She brought us water so I casually asked about wiping down table. She snapped at us with a reply that was not her job.As I thought about it how dare she respond to any customer in this manner. Regardless of it was her job or not she should of made sure it was wiped before delivering our food. She acted like we never had conversation. As I felt one more request would of escalated the situation I let it be. So when I paid cashier I was quick to acknowledge NO Tip for unacceptable service & refusing to do her job.. She asked me who was our server and she was surprised. Not sure i have any desire to return.

My family and I, had a very bad experience on Friday 10/15/21 around 7pm. The woman who is the manager is a good for nothing. I asked to speak to a manager for all the issues that happened with our food. Instead of going to our table, she went to hide in the office and told the waiter who is new by the way, to void our whole order. This person who calls her self a manager or whatever she is, doesnt care about the customers. Shes just there for a check. The whole time I was there she saw food sitting in the counter getting cold and just with her arms crossed waiting for the new guy to get. Horrible experience we had. Never going back to give my money to a place that doesnt care about food quality or customer service.

Wow! We stopped for a quick lunch on our way to Vegas and we were definitely impressed! The waitstaff were extremely helpful and responsive to our food allergies. They were very kind. Our meal was delicious and it was prepared quickly. The restaurant and restrooms were probably the cleanest in California! My grilled cheese sandwich hit the spot! Five stars! Thanks Dennys!

Me and my coworker came for breakfast this morning the hostess very rude her name was lupa. Standing around talking with the other girls not trying to find us a table. They didnt seem busy. She was just concerned with her self. Finally we got a table are waiter was really nice great food l had almost forgot all about the bad attitude from that hostess but when I was leaving to pay I asked her for a bag and she rolled her eyes. She said you should have asked your waiter. This place is about 50/50 on there service and thePeople they hired. Maybe its the new management. Because when I complained the Alex girl did nothing. I hate that I have to give them 3 stars being that our food was fast and the few bites we had were delicious. Our server was amazingly courteous. The turnoff for me was as we were enjoying bbn our meal a few visitors came out and joined our table. Therefore, all forks returned to the table and it was time to go. Horrible experience! AG was the server from hell. I took my daughter to Dennys for breakfast after her dental appointment in an effort to cheer her up. But the waiter was incredibly rude. He was acting like the KGB main security agency for the Soviet Union. He was acting like the official badge carrying spy for Dennys and the official food police. And he embarrassed me and my daughter by stating in a loud voice you can not share plates! AG was protecting Dennys all you can eat breakfast like it was going to bankrupt Dennys if I took a small piece of the hash brown. I am 61 years old and had no idea that this was an all you can eat breakfast nor did I have a desire to have an all you can eat breakfast AG never told us this was their all you can eat special which AG had a duty to protect with his life. I was just enjoying my time and conversation with my daughter. It was great until AG from the KGB showed up. My daughter and I were very upset because of AG from the KGB and of course there was no tip. AG has no diplomatic skills or wisdom. When you see a 61 year old woman take a piece of her daughters has browns, you should not push the red button.

First of all I would like say what happened to Dennys? I worked at the one on Palmdale blvd for 15 years with Florito as our cook. He is Awesome! My waiter or possibly the manager, since he was wearing a long sleeve blue shirt with said Dennys on it, was to busy talking, running his fingers though his hair while standing in front of the pass though window. For once I went into an establishment and they did what they advertised, my pancakes were hot my turkey bacon was fresh my eggs were soft scrambled, I only wish she would have told me a glass of lemonade cost $2.60, I could have purchased a gallon of lemonade at the market for that price, so if you go into Dennys make sure you take a bottle of cold water with you and they may give you a slice of lemon for it, other than that I was satisfied, 👍🏻👍🏻 & half thumbs up.

I wanted to give this Dennys a second chance due to the previous time I had a bad experience.I came in on the 4th of July in the morning and to be honest I was relieved to have had a great server Yuriana. Big problem is that the corporate office.is playing with.the.menuItems, you go to order banana pecan pancakes, they cant because corporate is doing.away with that item order.your broccoli soup and corporate is doing away.with that. We went around 3am to get some breakfast. Only a few people in there. Our server Michael was very nice, now the cook sucked...he screwed up every order he got, including ours. My boyfriend ordered the all american slam and had requested that his hash browns be fully loaded which is with onions and other stuff. His eggs were supposed to come with cheese. Well when he brought our plates...my eggs had cheese instead of his, hash browns were normal. So he told the server who then said..ok we can through some cheese and bacon on your hash browns and took his plate back to the cook. They had already brought my plate so now my food is getting cold while im waiting for them to get my boyfriends order correct. As were waiting i can hear the servers telling the cook that he is getting every order wrong. Even other workers are telling the cook that he sucks. I dont understand how he could get so many orders wrong when there was only a couple people in there.
