Our experience with Demetrius Costy was top notch from start to finish. Recommended by another Lawyer for his expertise and thoroughness Demetrius guided a family member through a lengthy legal issue challenging and ultimately getting charges reduced or eliminated saving possible jail time and fines. Do not use these large law firms that advertise only to settle quickly and not in your best interest. I had to talk four law offices on the phone and visited three of them in person before I made a last try phone call to Demetrius law office just in case, I get a better lawyer. I had gotten a pretty serious citation from Alameda County Sheriffs office. I must admit I was a little nervous about the situation. As I live out of state and the offense was in Oakland so on top of everything involved with the charge the travel expenses to fight my case was yet another concern. I had called a few attorneys in Alameda County and got prices, opinions, and attitude of how the felt about my charges. From my initial conversation with Demetrius I felt a calmness come over me as he spoke to me like a person almost like a friend. I chose to hire Mr. Costy to represent me in my time of needed professional help. Well earlier this year I was charged with some serious charges. And I knew I had to get a lawyer especially the circumstances I was up against. And before I found Demetrius, I found some other lawyers that was very pricey, but they didn’t seem too caring for my case as well and the vibe was off. I googled lawyers near me & I found Demetrius and I knew I wanted him to represent me the 1st time we talked on the phone. He was very blunt, upfront, honest and most of all he cared about my case. And for my case I actually felt like the amount to represent me was very fair as well. Too whom it may concernSo a few years ago I was minding my business pumping gas and out of the blue a local police officer approached me. He asked for my license and registration mind u he never pulled me over. Long story short I was charged with a whole host of felonies after I presented license registration and insurance, so I should not have been searched. I went out there for a trip and ended up getting caught up in a big mess it was horrible, and I thought my reputation and future was going to be ruined. By doing some research And talking over 8 different attorneys I came upon Mr. Demtrious, who I can say is excellent at his job and was straight forward and always kept in contact and let me tell you I lived hours away and it was hard to come back and deal with the case I caught in alameda county, I have not been in trouble at all so it was a headache. Mr. Costy is a godsend to my family. I called him when my mom was involved in a difficult case. She was charged with a Felony for a hit and run, and I didnt know what to do. When we visited and spoke to Mr. Costy . We felt like we were going to get through this with him on our side.He has so much experience and dedication and is a fighter in court. He always made sure my mom was ok and treated her with so much respect. When we would go into court we had other attorneys tell us he is the best. They were not wrong he is the best.
