This was my 3rd class A purchase and second Newmar, and by far, this was my best experience. Tim and Brent treated me like family, with respect and kept me informed during the build process. I am in VA and purchased from a CA dealer and had some anxiety, but dealing with this group could not have been more seamless. I picked up the coach at the factory, so I have yet to meet them but hope to do so in the future. They also found me the best and cheapest insurance in the nation. This dealership is a class act. My next coach will be from Demartini RV Sales. PS. They sold my Dutch Star for me in less than 30 days from CA and the coach was in VA. Cant say enough good things about my experience.

Amazing RV DealerMy wife and I have been looking for our RV for a few years… We went to numerous dealerships. Our experience at a number of dealerships around the Central Valley and Northern California were less than pleasurable to say it nicely. We were strung along by a number of “National Dealerships.” They executed a bait and switch campaign on us like i’d never seen before.Our entire RV shopping experience changed as soon as I contacted Nate from DeMartini RV. He was straight forward, professional, trustworthy, and went above and beyond for us. Everything he said and offered from day one was done… and then some!Tony in the Service Department was also exceptional. I have a pretty tight schedule and he has worked with me to get us in and fix the few little warranty items that needed fixing. Tony even worked with our local ford dealership to get Thor Motorcoach to cover some warranty items at the dealership so that we didn’t have to take our coach to another shop! We tried to buy a Class A Coach from them. First off In October they had a Discovery on their website that I put a bid on and they never called so I call and was in formed that it was sold. It is still on their website in January which is false advertising. Than we found the coach we wanted and it ended up at DeMartini they told us we could buy it in November for 210,000 but it had a chip issue. So we waited until in January they raise the price 230,000. We know the previous owner and know that they got it at a very good price and now they are selling it for even more. So Please Beware They are not true to their word.

We were treated very nice by everyone that we encountered. We liked the no pressure sales very different from Los Angeles rv dealers. We bought a dx3 and are very happy with all the people that helped us. Tim the owner, Jon, Brent, the service guy that lifted me up on a lift to see the roof and all the equipment, and two weeks later Tim Briggs in the service dept talked me through a problem I was having, and Tony in the parts dept. and others that I did not get to meet that helped us. Hats off to all of you, as far as buying a vehicle this is the best experience I have had.Thank you to the whole DeMartini team

Horrible experience with DeMartini -they sold us a phoenix 2100 in january 2023. Went to use it for the first time and the slide fell out of the unit and disconnected sending my husband to the ER. No assistance from DeMartini at all - several CYA emails to us but nothing more... .no assistance. Shame on you DeMartiniwell gee - thanks for the helpful information after the fact - the only thing your service dept did was tell us they couldnt help us. They didnt even tell us to contact the manufacturer. Well let you know what stanford spine surgeon tells us next week. Way to stand behind your customer

We traded in our 2017 Thor Windsport Gas Class A, for a 2018 Thor Aria Diesel Pusher. They made us a great deal, and have been super ever since with all of our service needs etc. John DeMartini was and is great, and always helps us with anything we need. Tony the service manager is a stand up guy that works very hard to please his customers, and get it done on a post Covid staff. Bravo guys!

From the start of the process of determining the best unit for us to the last bits of adding equipment and doing the paperwork, DeMartini RV is truly a customer first experience. My husband and I traveled from Reno to this Dealer, because it was local to us and I am originally from Grass Valley. We were a little put off, because when we got there we had to wait about 15 minutes for anyone to help. Then Tim came out opened a couple of units we were looking at, said he would find the info on our trade and come back. We decided on a unit, and waited, and waited. While walking back to the office I saw him in a golf cart with other customers, Great Customer service. Went in to office, waiting more and were finally helped by Jon, another owner. Told him what unit we were interested in, wrote up a worksheet and we were very happy about the deal we made. Walked out to our truck to go home, and we were stopped by our absentee salesman, Tim. He said that a salesman, that now is on vacation had sold that unit but he was not sure if that deal would go through. He would call us, and make things right. We went home, did not hear from Tim or Jon, a few days later, we called they said they were still waiting to hear from the other buyers, they would call us. A week later, no call, we called back. Still waiting Jon said. So I called a few days later, 13 days from the day we did the worksheet, Jon said sorry, that unit was picked up yesterday. So after all of this I am most annoyed 1. NO customer service. I am surprised they are still in business.

I have purchased a 2005 Chinook Glacier from this dealership. The salesman who was supposed to show how things work on the coach had no clue whatsoever about the workings and/or the mechanics of the RV. The owner said on the phone that “I’ll have my best salesman to meet you (we were driving up from Orange County) and show you the RV. My question is, if this guy is his “best” salesman, what does the ‘not the best’ salesperson looks like?As I have mentioned, the person had no clue where things were in the coach, acting like a guy walked in from street with an IQ of a goldfish.Anyways, they were all nice, including the owner guy, UNTIL we signed. After that we were the cattle on the conveyor belt. The coach we have purchased is a huge lemon, with incredible amount of issues which were not pointed out, or fixed prior to putting it on the lot. I am still fixing myself the issues, or paying to to do it by a professional.This guy is no different than a used car salesman on the dirt lot, and like to advise future buyers to BEWARE!

Literally one of the most unprofessional experiences Ive ever had buying anything. Had a unit offered and approved for me to purchase, owners daughter had to take it camping first, 2 weeks later still told I could have it but now it was 6k more for a total of 152k. But had emails from owner at 146k. Then 3 hours after I was told it was mine, got a call back from owners brother stating they sold to someone else by mistake? What a rollercoaster ride. No apologies, just excuses. Please beware of these people. Use your instincts and buyer beware. I understand things happen but I am here to tell you to please, please reconsider before you attempt to purchase anything from these people. Please note that I have never given a bad review on any platform. I dont even send food back . I just felt that others might benefit a little from reading this. Im not a disgruntled buyer whose credit wasnt good enough, Im not some random person that had bad service on a repair, Im just an honest person that tried to purchase a nice unit and was 100 percent given the run-around. This was about a month ago and the unit is still on their page showing as available. These tactics are exactly what they seem. Beware please, beware.

They were not honest and did not stand behind their word. They were to fix three items on a motor home I was buying. I flew out from Michigan and when I got home and was able to check the repairs two of the items were not done correctly. They would not reimburse me after I got the items corrected by my shop.

We are shopping for a new motor home. Called ahead and spoke to Jon Demartini about what they had in stock since it was a 2 hour drive there for us. They did have a coach we could look at even though it was sold so we drove over. Jon was very helpful and gave us a lot of info. Their pricing was very competitiveIf you are in the market for an RV I would highly recommend you give them a try.

My boyfriend and I just recently purchased a used camping trailer in July.They seemed very nice pleasant and professional. They catered to our needs and request. The sales woman Cheryl was the best. She said they would clean it and make sure it was ready to go. And it was. She did a walk around and showed us what everything was for, We were greatful for that since this is our first trailer purchase. Also they have a service department too which is really helpful. The worst customer service and experience my wife and I ever had. To make a long story short we were approved for a fifth wheel by Rodney and we were on cloud nine, we had our trade in emptied and was waiting for a phone call to sign/trade/ and walk through. We always had to call to see what’s going on, never got a straight answer. Finally over a week later still nothing, we got frustrated and cancelled our deposit. The first Monday after I called and talked to a manager John I told him what has been going on, he said he would look into it and asked if we’re still interested, I of course said yes but without Rodney being involved because we didn’t trust him. I got a call later that day and I was told my refund for the deposit will show in a couple of days. I assumed Rodney and John must have beers and play golf together because they just dropped me and John said they have other potential buyers, really after 1 day. Overall they are snake oil salesmen that can’t be trusted and have no customer service skills. If I could rate a negative rating I would, I hope this helps people that are willing to make trip here think twice and read all the other negative ratings which they are all similar.

Customer service at it’s best. Drove out of state from mid west to buy a new motor home. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very nice experience with every staff you run into. They really go above and beyond to take care of you. High recommend this place to everyone. If they have the inventory you are looking for, then you should definitely check this place out!

Tim Briggs in the Service Department is a STAR! He re-adjusted drawers, taught us how to use the stove, fixed the front door, told us to use the generator for 2-3 hours a month to keep the warranty valid. We are very happy with the service and attention to detail Tim has provided!

Service department is terrible. I made a appointment 2 month ago. I showed up today to drop off my motorhome and was told it is my drop off day. It would be 2 to 3 weeks till they would get to it. That there is a big show this weekend and that comes first. Why did I need a appointment? Why did I call first to make a appointment. Why should I try to do business locally, when l get treated like that. Thats twice I have tried to do business there and had problems with service. Auburn RV likes my business, and does excellent work. My RV is 4 years old not a piece of junk, I was trying to maintain it properly. Very disappointed in Demartini.

We bought our brand new R-Pod 180 from these folks and it was a great experience overall. I cant speak to what its like to get service by just walking up on the lot as we didnt do that. We knew what we wanted and did all of our shopping on the internet. Id never heard of DiMartini until our trailer came up on a saved Craigslist search at the best price Ive seen in California (ours is a new 17 and the 18s have been out a bit). My initial contact was to Dave via email. When my bank wouldnt loan me enough money (theyd only consider base price for valuation), Dave walked me through the finance process and painlessly secured me a loan that would meet our needs. He then agreed to hold the rig 4 days until my day off without a deposit. On the day we were supposed to pick it up Dave called first thing to let us know the A/C did not pass the PDI. We had the option to continue with the pickup and schedule the service or wait while the new A/C came in. We agreed to wait and scheduled our pick up for a week later on my next days off (we are about 130 miles away). As promised the A/C was replaced on time so we headed on down. We were immediately greeted at a counter when we walked in. We told the young fella we were looking for Dave and he immediately contacted Dave, who was at the other lot filling a rig with gas for another customer. A 20 minute wait on a comfortable couch (while being offered burgers for a bar-b-que they had going) and Dave showed up. He gave us a quick walk through before we met Nate, who handled the paper work quite efficiently before we hitched up and drove away. I loved that Nate didnt try to sell us a bunch of nonsense, as most car finance guys do (this is our first RV dealer experience). He did give us a slip of paper to fill out and mail in if we wanted to double the warranty from a year to two years (an option we went with) but there was no pressure what-so-ever. The only remaining snag was that we got home and realized we did not have a handle for the awning. A quick email to Dave was all it took to sort that out. We had a unit drop shipped to our house directly from Forest River within a week. Overall, all we met were friendly, helpful folks, even though we bought a sub $20k trailer off a lot full of quarter million dollar (and up) buses, etc (contrary to other posts I see here). I hope to drive the wheels off this rig but Id recommend this outfit in a second, based on my experience.

If your interested in getting an RV from there you better rent a Cadillac and dress to the nines or you can forget about getting anyone to help you, even when theres no other customers. We ended buying at Gold Country RV where we were treated like valued customers.

My Husband and I went to their location on Sunday May 28th. The place was a ghost town. We had to go searching for anyone to help us. There was one guy sitting in his office who seemed like he didnt even care if he sold anything and didnt introduce himself or even stand up to acknowledge us. We asked for a certain RV and he just pointed to a line of RVs and said go ahead and look around. I asked if they were all unlocked and he said yes. We walked out to the lot and every single RV was locked!! I had to go back in and ask for him to unlock them. At this point Im a little irritated and wasnt about to go them my business. But we spent an hour looking anyway and not sales person came out to help us. Little did they know we had cash in hand and ready go buy. We found 1 that we liked but there was no way I was buying from them. The absolute worst service Ive ever encountered. Whoever the guy in the office was, should be fired!!! I will never go back or recommend this place yo anyone.

We went to DeMartini RV sales on a Saturday and although it was a slow day with a small sales staff the owner Tim then Jon and finally Brent opened Rvs for us. We were welcomed very nicely and Brent spent a lot of time showing us ever motorhome and explaining in detail the pluses and minuses of each one. His knowledge and expertise and friendly salesmanship made our visit well worth our hour drive. There rigs are always very good and they are honest and up front about all items on there used motorhomes. I recommend that anyone looking for an RV take the time and visit this dealer.

My husband and I have been wishy washy for about three years now. We have visited Di Martini several times trying to decide what type of RV would work for us. We have always experienced a friendly and incredibly knowledgeable staff. We have finally decided on a DX3, and will be picking it up Tomorrow. We could not be HAPPIER with the service we have received. From the negotiations to the pre-delivery walk though. We have been on site when a customer who could not get help right away left the lot angry. You need to understand this is a family owned and operated facility with HIGH volume and only a finite amount of staff. It is not a high pressure car lot with lots of sales people standing around waiting to pounce. If you need on the spot service I suggest making an appointment, if you were like us and not sure what you wanted you are free to walk the lot and look at any of the RVs while waiting for someone to help you. Personally I liked the no pressure approach and the ability to just walk the lot and look at the RVs we were interested in without having a sales person following. Thank you to Tim, Brent and staff for making this first purchase so incredibly easy. I cant wait to go Glamping....

Nice visit checking out class a RVs. We were met by Phil he was so kind no pressure and was willing to talk openly about what would suit us. And took our budget in mind so we wouldnt be over our head. Website not up to date with actual inventory.Sales person, was lazy and bored, I asked about what payments might be for used vehicles,.He gave me the old, well, it depends on alot of factors, the person their credit etc..Must be nice to pick and choose who gets service and using the old bait and switch to have people parade themselves in and around to get picked for the right person to sell to. We tried for several months to get DiMartini to follow through on anything. We were attempting to work with them to help my mom sell the Motorhome she and my father owned. I would have preferred for them to tell us they couldnt help us, instead they would tell us they could and theyd be following up and then wed never hear back. This happened four or five times. We gave up and went to Mr Motorhome. Theyve been great and very responsive.

We had gone to the Monaco Factory in Oregon years ago and knew that someday we wanted to own a Monaco Motorhome.Finally that day came this last summer when we said......yes, lets do it!! We were in an R. V. park in Lake Almanor, California and several people told us about De Martini R. V. in Grass Valley. Since we are from Missouri we did not know about De Martinis but after a phone call to our relative who lives in the Grass Valley area we were assured by him that it was a honest and reliable place to look for a motorhome.We came in contact with Dave (our salesperson) upon our arrival. He met us with confidence that he could find us that wonderful coach that we were looking for and had dreamed of for so long. He was very professional and was very attentive to what we wanted in the coach. Dave went above and beyond to help us. Our entire experience with DeMartini R. V. was wonderful from our salesperson, Dave, our walk through guy Richard who explained everything in a very understandable manner, the mechanics, Nate in Finance, Bobby in the office and of course Tim DeMartini.We have owned recreational vehicles since 1991 and we have never been treated so well as we were at DeMartinis. Terrible service!! I am so disappointed. We watched their website for weeks and had several units picked out that we wanted to see. Some of the units had been on the website for weeks, others had just been put on their website the day before. We traveled 180 miles and when we got there no one was around to help us. I waited in the showroom for about 15 minutes and finally called them in the phone to let them know I was there. The salesman that finally came out was very disinterested and when I told him the different units we came to see he said they were all sold. He acted like they had just sold that day. Interestlingly enough 5 days later all the units are all still on the website and they have even posted new ads on Craigslist showing the RVs available. Was the Salesman just too lazy to find the RVs or is it false advertising?

They were very nice but ....... We took our RV in to have the HVAC fixed, a new battery installed, oil change and a few other small repairs. They changed my oil but didnt change the (next oil change due) tag on my windshield. Then they called us in to pick up the RV and when we went to pick it up it wasnt even done ?? Someone there took my laminated leveling jacks instructions I have kept on the dash for 5 years ?? The trucks grill chrome strip was missing (broken off) when we got home; Apparently when they installed the new battery they must have hit it and knocked it off ?? The truck was dirty with no clean up inside or out after their work done and then I stepped on a fuse box cover which was under my feet when I arrived to pick it up the 2nd time. These are a few of our complaints that come to mind from our one and only repair visit there.

On Aug. 12, 2017, my wife and I met with Dave Stockinger of DeMartini RV to pursue the purchase of a pre-owned ‘class A’, gas-powered motorhome. Dave showed us four different motorhomes, but was really pushing a Jayco unit because, according to Dave, it had a lot of “high performance extras”. Although my wife expressed interest in a different unit, Dave kept coming back to the Jayco and continued to speak of “all the extras” as well as the “super” entertainment system.We told Dave we would purchase the Jayco if he would commit to a few things - switch toilet from the trade-in, add roof vent, fix shower door, and reseal the roof. Dave agreed to these conditions so I said we would come back on Aug. 18th to complete the transaction.As planned, we met at the dealership on Aug. 18th with our current motorhome, and Dave took us to the finance office to complete the trade-in and purchase paperwork. After finalizing the documents, Dave stated the motorhome was “ready” and he showed us some basics and sent us on our way.Not 6 miles from the dealership, the ‘check engine’ light came on and the vehicle lost power. We pulled over and called Dave to tell him there were clearly issues with this motorhome. After Dave arrived and limped it back to the dealership, we were told we would have to get a loaner vehicle to return home as the motorhome needs to be taken to a shop for repairs. We drove the loaner vehicle back to Reno and after 17 days, we finally received a call that the motorhome had been “repaired.”On Sept. 5th, we drove back to pick it up. Before we left the dealership this time, I expressed to the owner – Mr. Tim DeMartini – that I was very unhappy with the situation, including the fact that not all the repairs were done and we received only some of the manuals. Tim told me not to worry and assured me that Dave would get the requested manuals for me.Two weeks after we arrived home in Reno, I took it to a local mechanic’s shop because the steering was erratic. I was informed that a front-end alignment was necessary.At a later date, we purchased a Dish satellite receiver and scheduled a Dish technician to install it. Upon his arrival, the Dish technician advised us there weren’t the necessary components for connecting the receiver to all the TVs. We discovered there wasn’t a DVD player nor a tuner and the satellite could only be connected to the one TV located in the bedroom. When this was conveyed to Dave, he stated perhaps someone had entered the motorhome and had taken the manuals along with the electronic components.In addition, on our very first trip the automatic leveling jacks would not retract, and after hours of messing with them, we finally got them in a position where the vehicle could be driven home. However, for close to an hour the alarm sounded. When I called Dave the next day to discuss the problem, he said “why didn’t you pull over and buy some ear plugs?” He then proceeded to hang up on me.To summarize, this motorhome was not properly represented by the sales person, Dave, or by DeMartini RV. Dave raved excessively about all the “extras” that were supposedly included with this motorhome when in reality, the unit only contained three simple TVs. In addition, the motorhome was clearly not road-ready, as it not only broke down less than 10 miles from the dealership, but I also had to take it to a local mechanic because it needed a front-end alignment.I think it’s obvious we are very dissatisfied customers of DeMartini RV. I feel that the salesman took advantage of the fact that I was not feeling well in order to convince me to agree to an unsatisfactory product. Even after I have addressed these concerns directly with the owner, he has not said nor done anything that makes me feel in any way that he cares.Going forward, not only will I never do business with DeMartini RV, but I will ensure everyone I know is made well aware of my experience and the resulting lack of care or concern shown by the staff and owner.

I talked to a few different people from purchasing motorhomes and looking at different types and styles. Jake up and parts was very helpful with all my questions. Brett and Amanda held me with questions as far as purchasing and ideas. I think theres a misconception when purchasing motorhomes and or repairs being done. Overall my experience with demartini has been on the positive side. I would definitely do business with them.

I hve just purchased a new Dynamax Isata from MHSRV in Dallas where I found their attitude and handling of the sale very bad and poor indeed.I had intended to make a purchase through Di Martini RV in Grass Valley but they did not have and could not get the modelI wanted and MHS were the only people who had one in stock.I paid cash for my vehicle but having travelled to Dallas from Rocklin CA to collect and pay for the vehicle but found their attitude one of take it or leave.it and ir was clear that the vehicle had not been prepared properly as the Fridge did not work at all, and indeed the carpet for the cab had not been suppled and in stead a second had one for another model of vehicle had been thrown in the bins of the coach.I complained about these matter and the salesman -Stevan Corey promised to send the correct one but has not done so.I returned to Rocklin to see my usual dealer DeMsrtini, who immediately repaired the Fridge and arranged for a new Carpet to be orderedMartini are the best dealers for sales and Service I have met and I n the future I will not be so stupid as to buy else where - particularly in Dallas where they are a bunch of money grabbing rogues.Imagine having to travel 1,700 mile back to California without a working Fridge in your new RV.Graham Consitt

Called on advertised rv listed for $39900 on 5/31/2018.Was told by salesperson Cheryl rv was currently being looked at and customers were going into finance. I asked if they fall thru is the price $39900 and what other fees were there. Was told only ca tax and I said I will take it at $39900 plus tax please call me.On 6/1/2018 got a call from Cheryl and was told customers did not get rv but since there is so much activity on the rv that the price is now $47500 but since I was 1st in line they would honor $44900 (bait and switch). I offered the $44900 but out the door and was told no,so I declined. To my surprise 6/3/2018 was still advertised but now at $45500 so called and was told yes its there come on down. Took the 135 mile drive waited in showroom for approx. 30 minutes and was told oh we just sold it. I asked if sale was complete and they said yes customer paid cash $42500. So not only did they do a illegal bait and switch but actually sold it for less then my 2nd offer. No way to do business dimartini rv so warning to prospective buyersUPDATE: OWNER CALLED ME AND EXPRESSED THAT HIS DEALERSHIP DOES NOT DO BUSINESS LIKE THIS AND HE WOULD MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO CORRECT THIS SITUATION.
