This review has a 3 star rating because the food is just okay. The reason why I come here time after time is because it’s a quick and easy solution to get fast Mexican food. The serving sizes are very small, and I recommend adding at least one or two additional items to your order. The hot sauce selection has a great range. I like going super hot and then chasing it down with a mild hot sauce. No matter what, grab an order of the Macho Fries (they are delish).

Ive been a loyal fan of del taco for almost 30 years and of the many locations Ive visited this particular one has consistently provided top quality food, service and atmosphere. Just thinking about it makes me want some. Im going now. See you there!

For fast food... this is my go-to. Yeah, its not healthy, but it tastes good. When I lived in Mexico, I used to get the chicken quesadilla when I came by to the US. Quality hasnt decreased over the years. Kuddos for Del Taco.Service here is always fun. The people working there seems happy and they are always cool and nice.

I had a long, very detailed account of my last visit, but this time Ill keep it short and simple. Simple ingredients need more attention, here they get less. The food is always wrong and the beans were that last bit scraped off the side of the pan, just old and dried out. People that serve bad food doesnt deserve to be in the food industry. My wife reminded me that this makes the 5th time I ordered the tostada and didnt eat it. I must be way past my after drinking no taste buds moment in life because this food is always bad and the food Is always delivered with the bags unsealed and the tostada box unsealed. Its so easy to put 1 sticker on a box...or is it!? Dun dun dun dunnnn.....

I came in to order for quick snacks. I requested special order. No hot sauce no spicy sauce on it. Cheese quesadilla snack this employee put very little cheese on it. Very bland dry tortilla I tasted one bite I saw it was too thin not enough cheese quesadilla snacks. Two tortilla I felt wasted and I requested to put little more but this rude looking employee refuse and wanted to charge me extra and treated me less and limited which is not fair .I wouldnt come back again

My brother, my 2 year old niece and sister bought each a chicken and fry box yesterday from this location and had to go to urgent care. Doctor said they had food poisoning. I tried calling this place to let them know what happened but im getting no answer.

It’s Del Taco. You go here when you’re craving quick “Mexican food” on the cheap. This is all usually about quantity, not necessarily quality - and it usually ends with regret on the toilet. Yet … we return time and again!Service is very polite here and when you ask for a bunch of hot sauce packets, they take care of you. Employees are very courteous and easy to understand on the drive-thru speaker.This location is clean and drive-thru well maintained. The exit is a little wonky - lots of curb bumping and jumping as you exit; someone should have planned better.Anyway - it serves its purpose, even if we know better every time!

First I should probably say but I dont think they were very many people or anyone who actually for that matter there was more excited than I was to get another Del Taco in my city. Especially since the one thats closest to me has hands down the worst drive-thru ever! I mean this drive-thru is so bad I couldnt even begin to tell you how many different types of colors I see from paint transferring on the walls. But this review is not about that Del Taco its about the new one on Lake and let me just say this place should get five stars simply for the fact that they have my favorite soda, Bargs Rootbeer! Seriously though this its pretty good. From the food to the service to the clean dining area and yes the Bargs Rootbeer, this is a place Ill definitely be coming back to.L

They didnt even fill my $2 roller as photographed. I get its a cheap item, but I would have saved my $2 had I known it was gonna be for 1 tortilla. My guac burrito ($7.50) had a little guac on one corner of the burrito only. The rest was beans and rice. My beer battered fish tacos- the fish was tasty enough but cold and hardly any lettuce - again, all tortilla. I also think since NONE of the food was hot, it was sitting there the full 15 minutes I was in the drive thru (finally turned my car off to save gas- no one in front of me in line).Cant wait to go to KFC or taco bell instead next time.

Soda was warm and flat.Update: the store reached out to me right away and explained their situation with the soda and ice machines. They offered to replace my drink at a later date when the machines are working again. This has always been the worst Del Taco in SoCal so after avoiding it for years, I was only coming because I was in the area. After thinking it couldnt get any worse than it was before, I ordered a spicy jack quesadilla only to be told they dont carry it anymore. So I asked for a beyond taco and they said they dont carry that either. Since Ive heard many complaints about the food and service here in recent months, i backed out of the drive thru and went to the one in Eagle Rock.

STOP... save yourself a lot of aggravation, this Del Taco is to new. Staff is unorganized and the kitchen counters around food prep areas are to messy, the floor in food handling areas are scattered with trash. The service is real slow and orders inaccurate. After ordering 2 # 1 combos we received half the order after 15 minutes, so finally asked for a refund for the other half of the order and a voice came from back in the food prep area saying nice and loud NO REFUNDS, so after another 15 minutes of waiting I finally got 2 tacos and 1 order of fries which completed my order. Sadly this is the second time in two visits I have had a problem here at this Del Taco. I for one will not be returning here till they figure out what they are doing, not worth the aggravation trust me.

Closes at 12:00 on the sign the website and I was there at 11:09 there was a truck in front of me I remember because somebody wrote buttcheeks one word, in the dust on the tailgate.Three cars behind me. Ordered a medium #4 guy says, Sorry not making burgers now, were closing in like 15 minutes. I reply Cool, let me get two stuffed grilled chicken quesadilla tacos, chicken spicy jack quesadilla, and a classic grilled chicken burrito.On Lake Ave. by 11:22 burrito in hand, headed toward the freeway, grab a taco, realize at this point theres NO chicken spicy jack quesadilla in the bag.Look at the GPS, Im 7 minutes from the freeway, look at the clock, I can make it back to Del Taco before Midnight, but according to guy they close at 11:24Not Midnight.I just got off an 8 hour bartending shift so I know you need a good 30 minutes to shut it down. But you dont miss an order you charge someone for. Imagine you pay for a drink at my bar, and I dont bring it to you. Its apples to oranges I know. But its the principle.I dont live here, I have an hour drive. Im not going to make an hour trip to have my fast food order fixed, or flip a b**** to get snubbed at 11:45. I have been going to this new place and the food is just ok. The burritos are always cold! The tortilla feel cold to touch the Epic Triple meat burrito was ok and the meat (steak) was so chewy and dry. We had the regular beef burrito and it was cold to touch and just barely warm on the inside. Del Taco Fiesta pack was a good filling and the right amount of ground beef but it crumbled in your hands. The Fiesta pack also comes with bean burritos yes they were cold too! For 30.00 bucks totally not worth it!

This place is a nightmare. We entered the drive thru at 8:20 pm with a baby and toddler in the car because we needed a quick meal. There were two cars ahead of us. By the time it was our turn, our kids had been crying and screaming for 30 minutes and we were stuck between the cars. Didn’t even bother getting our food because we can’t support this. The wait was unbelievably ridiculous. Probably the most stressful situation you can experience when you’re hungry, with two crying babies, not able to do anything for them and not able to exit. Avoid!!!

I love eating Mexican food & Del Taco has created box combo meals for $4, $5 & $6 which is a GREAT DEAL. All combos come with fries & a drink. Prices are for the small combos & increase slightly for the bigger meal. You can always order other items from their menu including breakfast.
