2024-06-24 20:00:38Lots of options, including ube, matcha, and tea drinks. All you need to do is ask and they’re willing to make the drink you’d like. Very nice staff and nice location, but a bit small. A few small pastry options, and some prepackaged options. Recommend!

2024-03-09 04:35:32Superb cappuccino and cortado prepared by an expert barista in clean minimalist space. Both beverages exhibited strong notes of expertly roasted beans with rich crema that lingered on the palate. The cortado exhibited an intoxicating taste that rivals the best we’ve ever tasted - and we sample plenty across the US and beyond. Much attention has been devoted to the interior which is adorned with live plants and decorated with tasteful combination of tile and natural woods which maximizes the small space.Should have hired the designer to do my kitchen. There is no seating on site. Barista Rowby is a master of his metier and efficiently serves a line of patrons, many of whom were welcomed personally by counter person Gigi. Pride of ownership bounds with a variety of fun stickers and branding item. Roasted beans are available on site which is a big plus for me. Dead Eye rises to the top echelon of Bay Area coffee establishments and deserves to be on your map.

2023-12-02 21:56:03Love this place. Hipster as can possibly be, and has to be the tiniest coffee shop I’ve ever stood in, but what they lack in square footage, they make up for with some excellent coffee - their Tahitian vanilla latte is absolutely delicious. They also have a rotating selection of freshly-roasted beans from interesting roasters (Devout and Proud Mary). Kinda spoiled to have such a great shop in the area - it’s a must-try if you’re a coffee person.

2024-04-13 17:09:19I’m a coffee snob, annoyingly so. This is by far the very best coffee in the Bay Area. My go to order is a quad shot iced latte and whether I’m having that or the espresso straight it is absolutely delicious. The vanilla and rose lattes are lovely treats and well balanced in flavor.

2024-04-27 22:10:18Every time Ive been here, this place is always packed. The place is small, but they make sure to utilize each nook and crannie. The people are always so nice and greet you when you enter.Their drinks are always on point. I have not tried one that I didnt like. I always enjoy their pastries. My typical go-to:1. Ube croissant - I always buy 2 thinking Im going to share, but I never do, lol. Theres something about it that I can never get enough. Its light, crispy, and the creaminess of the ube in the middle. Its perfection every time.2. Honey financier - sweet and crunchy edges but moist in the middle.3. Chocolate chip cookie - you can never go wrong with a classic.

2023-03-04 22:51:50Completely obsessed with their Tahitian Vanilla latte. I’ve moved to the east coast since first discovering this cafe but still make it a point to grab my morning coffee here when I am back in town. While I usually enjoy my lattes iced, I prefer their Tahitian vanilla served hot! Do not sleep on their ham & cheese croissant, it’s delivered fresh every morning & always the first to sell out for good reasons. Brian is lovely & seems to know his customers very well, a sign of a great local coffee shop. Highly recommend coming here!

2023-09-02 02:50:16This place serves up all the essential drinks, with a couple more exciting drinks, and a couple of pastries. My basic almond milk latte was excellent and showed off some high-quality espresso. The chocolate chip scone was pretty good, large, moist, and balanced mildly sweet and buttery flavors well. This is a great little shop for a quick stop for fuel in the morning.

2024-05-17 17:31:22Fantastic coffee shop to pick up!Only one selection of drip coffee but it was tasty enough to drink without milk!! I recommend this as a pit stop on a trip out of the city towards the south bay!!The staff were super nice and funny!

2018-05-06 22:30:22Wow!Heard about this coffee shop from word-of-mouth. It’s a bit hard to find, but once stepped inside, we were really charmed. To start off, the design of the shop was vintage yet modern, tasteful and cohesive. The drinks and ice creams were well presented. The owners/servers were really personable and engaging. It has all the charms lost by big chain coffee shops.Definitely worth stopping by again and again!

2023-04-24 06:20:14As someone who prefers iced drinks over hot, I had to go for hot Tahitian Vanilla Latte w/ whole milk and a hot Matcha latte with a shot of tahitian syrup. Both the drinks were delicious and for once I enjoyed having the hot drink with a soft butter croisant. The earthy notes of matcha were combined with perfect level of sweetness! The staff is super friendly and welcoming.P.S. they have a fun little money wall where currencies all over the world have been displayed. So of you have a foreign currency and want to donate it to their wall, be sure to bring it along with you.
