We rented a party bus from Dominic back in August 2015 for my Fiancés birthday and could NOT have had a better time! Dominic drove us to Santa Cruz for the night at 8:00 and picked us up around 1:30 to head back to Monterey! The price was very reasonable considering the accommodations we needed. He kept in contact with me through the entire planning process and checked in with me about the detailed a week before the event.My fiance and I were so happy with our experience in the party bus, that we decided to use their DJ and photography services for our wedding and could not have been happier. The photographer Cole looked over the venue before meeting with us and knew exactly where to take the best photos in Big Sur. Jonathan was awesome in mixing the right music for our reception, calling me a few weeks before to make sure he knew exactly what we were looking for in music genre and mood settings. I completely trusted them to do their job and make my wedding run flawlessly. They did a phenomenal job and we knew we could trust them to make our wedding day all we had wanted and more.Two perfect experiences in using this company for my events needs. I recommend DC Events and Design for all your event needs!

Dominic and his team pay such close attention to detail, prior to our big day we spent time going through timeline of events to ensure our photographer could get all the shots we wanted. Grace was our photographer for the day and she was on time and so professional, she is extremely personable and fit right in with our friends and family. We received a sneak peek within a week of our wedding and all our photos in less than a month. Grace’s editing is beautiful and we loved the natural light in all our photos, she was so great at giving instructions for posing. Highly recommend Dominic and his team, they were so accommodating with the changes we had to make due to COVID. Quality and genuine customer service!

I hired DC Events & Design to shoot my wedding in October 2020. Drew was our photographer and he was absolutely incredible and is very talented! He was timely, directive (as a photographer should be!), light hearted, responsive and flexible. We worked with him for both an engagement shoot and the wedding. We had some issues planning a wedding during a pandemic but Dominic and Drew worked with us to make it happen and the end result will forever be cherished. They were also the most affordable with high quality, especially in a ritzy area like Carmel.

He was great at keeping the crowd lively and played really great songs all night. He was so attentive and I could not have asked for a better experience. We booked DC Events for our wedding in Big Sur about a week ago. Dominic was so easy to talk to from the very beginning, and after our first time talking on the phone, we knew that we wanted to go with DC Evens. Vincent was our DJ for our wedding and he did AMAZING. We gave him some general music genre ideas and asked him to just fit the mood, and he did an outstanding job. DC Events was the most professional, easiest to work with, and most cost effective option.Dominic, the owner, worked with me to get set up and select a DJ who met my needs. Our DJ, Vincent, was excellent throughout the process. A few weeks before the wedding, he worked with us to create a tailored list of songs. During the wedding, he was an excellent MC, ensuring the days events went smoothly. He also kept the dance floor nice and lively. In short, I couldnt recommend DC Events and Design more strongly.

Dominic was amazing to work with! We ended up doing a destination wedding in Mexico and not only was he so easy to work with but he flew out there with no hesitation and worked with our budget! He is so passionate about his job that you can see it in his work. His drone captured all of our fun memories and the beauty of the venue! Within 24 hrs of landing back home he started working on our video clip and it was done in 2 Days! All of my friends and family have said the video clip is the best they’ve seen yet. We also received all of our wedding videos within a week. Dominic is so incredibly talented I’m so happy we ended up choosing dc events and design!

Dominic was very wonderful to work with--I never met him in person, but we had multiple phone calls--he was so genuine, down to earth, supportive, and flexible throughout all the booking/scheduling process. Steve did an amazing job of capturing footage of our special day. It honestly feels like we are watching actors playing ourselves on our wedding day, but it really is us! Truly a wonderful company made up of talented individuals who are flexible, creative, responsive, and so easy to work with.

We worked with Dominic for our wedding on Nov. 23rd, utilizing DC Events for both their photography and DJ services. Katrina, our photographer, provided an air of comfortability, for what can oftentimes be an awkward experience, whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism. Our DJ, Jordan, was very open to our ideas, working with us to come up with the perfect score for our wedding. He made himself available for any questions and concerns we had right up until the ceremony and in the end created the perfect score for our wedding! My husband and I were very comfortable with the videographer and it was a lot of fun! We absolutely love our video! There are hardly words to explain how happy we were with DC Events& Design. We used their Photography, Videography and DJ services for our wedding and any expectations we had were more than exceeded. To start, the admin staff was extremely helpful and organized when we booked our date. They were friendly and made sure that all of our questions and concerns were taken care of. Our photographer, Ashley, was phenomenal and so talented. Her ability to capture all of the most important moments was invaluable and we were so happy with the final set of pictures. Steven created the most perfect video we could have imagined and we still get goosebumps watching it. Our DJ, Vincent also did a great job keeping our guests on the dance floor all night long. We used DC events for our wedding and had the dream team: Drew for photography, Steven for videography, and Marcus as the DJ. The whole team was so easy to work with and Dominic (the owner) is very responsive to all phone calls and emails. We loved our photos and our highlight reel made everyone cry. From the moment I received a call back from Dominic (only after leaving a voicemail 30 minutes prior) until the moment I received our wedding highlight video, it has just been a pleasure working with DC Events & Design for our wedding! Dominic was always quick to respond and extremely helpful during the planning phase; he never failed to answer a question or to provide details. He even provided a courtesy call to discuss scheduling (without a reminder from myself the bride) on the week of our wedding. On the day of our wedding, both Steven and Dominic were great to work with, and they were able to capture such amazing shots from both their drone and camera. Our wedding went very smoothly and some of the most common remarks we have received from our guests have been about how great the music was. Our DJ, Vincent Verduzco, was super easy and enjoyable to work with. He listened to us explain what we wanted to the last detail and he made it happen. Stop your search and book DC!Dominic and his team are some of the best in the business! We used their DJ (big shoutout to Jason, he was incredible!!!) and videography services. We planned our entire wedding from out of state and they made the process seamless from start to finish.All of our guests (spanning multiple generations) had a great time and were out on the dance floor. The DJ/MC can be one of those wedding items that people push to the side but trust me when I say just how important it is to have an experienced company who listens and understands what you are looking for. Your guests will most likely not remember the florals and linens you obsessed over, what they will remember is having a good time and that begins with the DJ!Four months after our big day and we still watch our wedding video a few times/week because I can’t get over how DC captured every moment so perfectly. My daughter, Shayla’s, wedding was an absolute success because of the professional we hired, Dominic Camany owner of DC Events and designs. Dominic and his staff were attentive to every detail. A friend of my daughters contracted Dominic for her photography (which is what we thought was all that DC Events did) and when we contacted him imagine my surprise when I found out he had other services as well. I’m a very busy woman and I love “one stop shopping” if it’s available. DC Events and Design has everything you need for a successful, fun, and truly memorable wedding day.DC Events supplied lighting rentals, DJ services which included sound systems and music for the wedding service and photography for her wedding. My daughter also requested a photo booth but Dominic was unable to supply however he was extremely forthcoming in recommending another company, Bay Photo Booth, which we were extremely pleased with and even received a discount because of DC Events and Designs recommendation. Everything Dominic suggested we were pleased with. Our biggest mistake with DC Events was NOT hiring them as our videographer. As our budget was tight Dominic did everything in his power to make this option affordable for us. My husband and I just couldn’t make it work. Thanks so much for trying Dominic.The DJ, Brent, was outstanding. He engaged the crowd and everyone, young and old, were dancing. He played every song that Shayla requested and wouldn’t play some requests that guests asked for because my daughter absolutely did not want them played, i.e.: the chicken dance. Our venue was a difficult place for sound and he did great.The photographers, Cole and Chris, were awesome. My daughter requested more candid shots than staged and that was what was provided. Chris spent the entire morning with us (bride, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and flower girl) in our hotel suite while we were doing hair and makeup. He was respectful of our privacy while still getting the perfect getting ready shots. Cole was with the men and again had all the perfect getting ready shots.I know this is a long review but DC Events and Designs did so much for us and such an outstanding job I wanted to make sure I reviewed all aspects of his services. I must have watched 100 different videos before deciding that I felt DC Events and Designs truly captured the feeling of the day.We selected the package that included recording the wedding vows - which we look forward to watching back for years to come.After the wedding, we received the video in just under 6 weeks from the wedding date - which is a pretty quick turn around. Mike was our dj for the night and he was excellent as well. Brent was our DJ and throughout the whole process he was completely professional and easy to work with. My husband and I had a list of songs we liked so he could get a feel for the type of the music we wanted at or wedding. The most important thing for us was that people were dancing the whole night! And Brent did just that! He kept the events going the whole night and all the guests engaged! Everyone danced the night away and he played an amazing variety of music! He was also extremely flexible with going between two locations to get before photos of myself as well as my groom! My husband and I just got married on Saturday 5/26, and the music was incredible! I contacted Dominic, who is the owner of DCE&D, about a year ago. Not only are the services very affordable but from the very beginning he was an absolute pleasure to work with! Dominic made himself accessible at the most convenient times for me and my schedule via phone and email. When it got close to the wedding he had one of his DJs get in contact with me to go over what we wanted to have played at the reception (we had a traditional catholic wedding and only used his services during the reception) They sent over a packet asking us what kind of music we would like for the cocktail hour, dinner, reception, what time the speechs were, etc.. and made the process as painless as possible! Our DJ was Jonathan and he was a gem:) He was so polite, fun and my husband and I just loved how he checked in with us throughout the night. The DJs through DCE&D dont require you to get them a meal, but I am so glad we did, because Jonathan worked his butt off - setting up all of the equipment and keeping the party going all night! DC Events and Design was great. They did the DJ service for our wedding in Monterey Bay.We had Vincent and he was great, friendly, professional, and the music execution and playlist were flawless. He was able to set up a complete playlist from me describing a style of music I wanted and giving him a single example track.The whole event was perfect and he was set up and ready to go before the ceremony and reception even started. I dont think anything could have gone better relative to the wedding and music.Overall, it was fun and flawless, 10/10 would recommend!

I used DC Events and Design as the DJ for my wedding in September of 2016. They came recommended by my venue and were easy to deal with from step one. Any communication I had with them (usually via email) was quickly responded to. As the wedding got closer, they had a form to fill out with which songs were to be played when. The DJ scheduled to be at our event contacted me about two weeks before and we went over the form line by line in order to have a clear understanding.DC Events and Design knows what they’re doing and are complete professionals. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent DJ service. And while we’re on the subject, I wish I had used them for my photographer as well (the one we chose was not nearly as professional).

My husband and I just got married last night at Rancho Canada in Carmel and Im already writing a review for DC Events and Design because they were just that awesome. Dominic was my videographer and he was so amazing to work with. I have heard SUCH great things, but yesterday I truly experienced what a talented guy he is. He was there for every moment..capturing even the small things that I know I will cherish later in our Highlights Video. He was so sweet..listened to what I wanted..made sure everything was as I wanted..and was so smooth in all the video shots as to not disturb the moments I had with my bridesmaids, mom, maid of honor, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer. I personally got the platinum package and Im so happy I did. Because of Dominic Ill have the best day of my life to look back on forever and ever.Our DJ was Brian. He was so so so great!!! He, like Dominic, listened to what I wanted, explained our wedding reception timeline so well, kept my reception so that it ran smooth and flawless. He played all our songs. And even came up to me to tell me everything was going to be great and asked my suggestions on certain things when we realized our timing was getting a bit behind.. I truly felt like I was in charge the entire time and he was there to make sure my wedding went perfect. What else could a bride and groom ask for. It was such a pleasure working with DC Events and Design! The wedding highlight video turned out amazing and I couldnt stop watching it!The process of booking them went by so smoothly. They already were highly recommended, but what really impressed me to begin with is how quickly we got the responses to any and all of the questions we have - either the same day or the day after, no later than that (Thank you Allison and Dominic!) We went with the Gold package with some additions - I wanted a video of the full ceremony and of all the speeches and they offered such a good deal that I just had to book it with them!The day before we hashed out details about the time and place to meet. Steven was our videographer and he was so nice and professional! We had a different company for photos but he worked so well with them and around them, we honestly forgot that he was there! And the shots he got were amazing! I dont know how he was able to capture the entire essence of our wedding without making his presence so obvious throughout the night. Thank you Steven!!I thought a 6 minute highlight video was too short at first, but after actually watching it, theres no denying the amount of time and effort they put into editing and providing a great quality video. It feels longer than 6 minutes because Steven was able to capture the most important moments. I was welling up with tears watching the video and remembering my most special day.Also, I was told that the video would be ready for us 6-8 weeks after the wedding - and they delivered! I didnt even have to check in with them, I just received the email that it was ready! I got married the last weekend of June and I received my highlight video mid-August, and the Blu-ray and DVD copies by end of August. They even provide you with the back-up files to the videos. Theyre just outstanding!With all the stresses that come with wedding planning, DC Events and Design made sure that the video aspect for my wedding was taken care of.We also had Jason, from the same company, as the DJ for our wedding as well! My husband worked so well with him as far as deciding music options for the wedding and he gave us a good idea of how the flow will be for the reception so that eliminated our fears of not knowing how it will go. He was very flexible with any changes we needed and definitely got things moving during the reception. The dance party was definitely a LOT of fun. He was able to play most, if not all, of my husbands must-haves for the cocktail hour and reception, as well as take requests while sticking to our must-not-play list. My husband and I are newly married as of 8/31/2017.When we first started searching for a Videographer, I researched so many different vendors and watched various sample videos. DC Events and Design instantly captured my interest. They had a very distinctive, unique, creative and detailed visual that I absolutely wanted to be a part of our wedding. As I got into contact with the Owner Dominic, it was such a natural conversation. Dominic was so cool, calm and collective. He listened to our story, we exchanged thoughts and ideas and he was very passionate about the service he can provide to us.We had a beautiful, intimate elopement wedding centered on our faith in God and the agape love my husband and I share through God. It was a very deep and sentimental day and we yearned for our story to be told on our Wedding video. Our videographer Steven was absolutely so cool, calm and collective as well. Typically, I get nervous on camera but we felt no pressure at all. He captured the beauty of the ocean, the meaning of our words, the fine touches and distinct details. He went above and beyond and he far exceeded what we envisioned.Although we did not meet our Editor David, we want to say a special thank you to him. DC Events and Design are true artists and are so incredibly talented at what they do! They were beyond AMAZING to work with from beginning to end! Our highlight film looks like it could be a Hollywood movie, and they delivered it earlier than expected! They were professional, responsive, very organized and kind. The videographer we had on our day did a fantastic job not only working well with our photographer, coming up with great ideas/shots, but also respected our time and and let us share our moments together without interrupting. Having a videographer was the best decision we made. It’s such an important aspect of a wedding day and it truly captures every moment of the day that photos just cannot. A-MAZING! Dominic was great, and Jonathan the DJ was fantastic. My whole party loved the music Jonathan played during everything. We had many changes throughout and Jonathan just rolled with the punches! Couldnt have asked for a better DJ!What made it even more miraculous was, one of my friends was originally planning to be my DJ, but he flaked at the last minute (1 week prior!) Dominic was helpful and luckily had Jonathan available for me. Excellent pricing, you get more than your moneys worth with these guys!

Dominic is a wonderful person, and an excellent businessman. He is punctual, personable, professional and downright DRIVEN. His passion for his work is obvious, as well as his eye for talent. Dominic created our wedding video, provided us with a photo booth, a DJ and a live musician. He also went above and beyond by helping out with setup and coordination, since our handiman was running late. We were very happy with how DC Events was able to work within our budget, and adjust their offerings with what we could afford. And with what we could afford, they exceeded our expectations.We had two services for our event.The DJ was great, and took the time to listen to what we wanted, and worked with us to develop an entire playlist for the event, broken down by clock time.The photographer was also great, and also took the time to listen to what we wanted. We got everything we asked for. Something we didnt think about until later (because neither of us had experience with reception photographers) - it would have been fun to develop more groupings with friends (instead of family), and it would have also been fun to get a photo of each couple / family who attended. But if we had thought of it, Im sure he would have accommodated us. He was very accommodating and anxious to hear what we wanted.

My husband and I were convinced we did not need or want videography of our wedding. Sounds really silly right? Thankfully our married friends convinced us otherwise! We found DC Events & Design after watching what felt like hours of wedding videos online. We picked a video randomly on their site and as luck would have it, it was actually a video of a wedding at our venue. We were absolutely blown away by the quality and the cinematography. This wedding video could have easily passed for a silver screen movie trailer. We watched a few more videos and we were certain we had struck gold.We knew we had found the one after chatting with the owner Dominic who was warm, thoughtful and professional. We choose their midrange package to receive a highlight reel of the day and added an extra hour of videography to accommodate the timeline of our festivities. The entirety of the booking and payment processes were easy and we never had any trouble getting a hold of Dominic for questions. We had the pleasure of having Steven Darling video our actual wedding day and he was everything you could want and more! He worked hand in hand with our photographers and was thoughtful of his presence throughout the day. He took a variety of shots and angles for the day and even broke out a drone for aerial footage.We received our wedding video 6 weeks after our wedding which is an amazing turnaround. There is no better way to describe it than to say that it was perfect.If we can offer any advice for your wedding: get videography, a highlight reel is the perfect way to big day and of course: go with DC.

I booked photography and DJ through DC Events & Design for my wedding. Dominic was extremely attentive to my vision for my big day. He is very approachable and responds to emails and phone calls within 24 hours.The photographer came prepared on the day of the wedding and already knew what to take pictures of. What I found to be helpful is keeping a list of everyones name you want the photographer to take pictures of (ex: parents, grandparents, best friends, etc.) this way you dont have to worry about the photographer missing a perfect shot. The photographer was very independent and knew what he was doing. The resulted photos reflected his handwork.For the DJ, he was very knowledgable and had gave respectable suggestions. I gave a list of songs to the DJ that I wanted him to play on my wedding day, and he stood by the list. I was satisfied with the music he played. I love that he was able to get a fill of the dance floor. Once he saw a song that wasnt fitting the mood, he changed the song and kept the floor alive.

We hired DC Events and Design for our DJ services, and Brent was our DJ for our 4/9 wedding at Bayonet and Black Horse. Let us just say...best DJ ever! We asked all of our wedding guests to request a song when they sent in their RSVPs, so we had a pretty extensive and specific request list that we turned in to Brent. He played each of those songs as well as all of the last minute requests that we texted him the days leading up to the wedding! Brent was so positive and upbeat in his responses. Whatever songs we requested day of he always played, even when we had weird requests that werent easy to find (Thizz Face!). We dealt with Dominic a bit before being turned over to Brent, and he is awesome to work with as well. Brent and Dominic both helped me (the bride) pull off a music surprise for my groom and it was flawless. The whole day was flawless, and we owe so much of that to Brent!! We were so pleased with DC Events and with Brent that we are ready to throw another party so we can hire them again!!
