AC unit didn’t work.. move to a different one.Reservations offer breakfast.. no breakfast at all.Electric outlets don’t work, homeless in stairway at night.Furniture is loose about to break… so careful don’t touch things or you will be responsible with the $200 deposit they ask for

Me and my sister wanted to get a decent motel for a beach trip this place was absolutely awful they advertised for free breakfast which they did not have the room was extremely dirty there was hairs on our sheets three different colors and I had to ask for new bedding when I asked for new bedding they did not give us a blanket because they did not have any as well the floors were so dirty I literally used one of their rags to mop the floor just so my son can play Im sure the maids did not clean behind the bed because we found somebodys old dirty nasty sock we did not use their showers because the mats were so nasty will never come back to this place the maids did not take pride in their work at least not in our room worst service ever.

Front desk clerk was rude and I could hear him tell his manager on the phone that he didnt want to deal with the drama of checking in. All he had to do was look at another screen to see that the room was already paid for. Took 20 minutes before everything was settled.

I paid a $200 cash deposit. They couldnt find it. I prepaid for my room I emailed them a copy of my id bc I lost mine on the way here but I have a federal id so they said I could only stay 1 night. It took me 45 minutes for them to give me my deposit

Location is great, lots of store and restaurants across the street. They do not provide breakfast even if you book a room with that option. Breakfast is only cafe, tea and granola bars. You are better off booking a room with no Breakfast and buying something at one of the stores across the street, the gas station, target, McDonalds, Dollar Tree. Stayed for 3 night and the dining area had the chairs up on the tables like they never use them.

So I’ll rate this place based off a $ amount and if I paid $50 a night I would expect the issues we had with it but I paid $110 a night so my expectations were a bit higher. So here’s why you shouldn’t stay here:First off: If you enjoy the light hearted company of ants in the bathroom all over your towels, toilet and floor constantly you’ll enjoy it :)Secondly: The floors…. When I say your white socks will turn the blackest of black after walking for only 1min in the room I mean it… Very disgusting and definitely not idealThirdly: Some little things to keep in mind that aren’t up there but to be aware of if you consider this Hotel option *No do not disturb sign, *Walls paper thin, *Dust hanging from ceiling above bed, *Stains on towelsIn conclusion the Cleanliness was very poor but the Location was in a Prime spot between LAX, Universal, & Disney. If you’re looking for a 30min drive to all three places in the morning and at night this is the spot to stay. The cleaning staff was also very friendly and respectful. The place is also in a safe area

Me and my buddy booked this hotel on a road trip. We stayed in a queen suite because we needed some space from each other after 4 days in the car haha! For $145 you can’t beat it. Each room had its own AC unit, bathroom was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Recommend this hotel for a place to crash on a road trip.

Decent place to stay if your standards are super low. The first room we were assigned had graffiti on the TV stand and the chairs were filthy, like they were picked up off the side of the road. The gentleman working the lobby switched us to a new room which was almost as bad. Disgusting chairs that me and my boyfriend refused to sit on, hair stuck on the shower walls, dirty water on the refrigerator shelves, and a broken lock are the main issues I have with the room. I dont plan on staying at a Wyndham hotel again and wouldnt recommend anyone book through them either.

Nasty pubic hairs all over the pillow cases. The only plugin in the vanity area didnt work. Electrical shock hazard with the night light. Zero customer service. AC wasnt cold what so ever. Total waste of money. Wouldnt never stay here again.

I am a semi truck driver. I had a very difficult time finding somewhere to layover for a few days while in California. I called this hotel location and to my surprise I was able to park my truck on the property along with the trailer. There was plenty of shopping in the location that was walking distance. The room was very clean and I felt safe. The linens were clean as well. I was very satisfied!

Ive stayed in this place many times, and what I have seen so far is that it needs more TLC, the chairs are dirty and falling apart, it needs more detail cleaning, and perhaps carpet cleaning as well. The place is not bad at all, I keep going back. Hopefully they can improve the over all condition of the Hotel to make your stay more comfortable. The prices are very affordable!!.

The rooms had ants were not cleaned right the sheets dirty there were gnats flying in the room as soon as night came and we would have any lights on in the room. Some of the lady staff members were rude and not useful or helpful. When I asked why my card was charged before and not on another day none of could explain it to me when I showed them what I was talking about they were just being short and rude to like get me out of there. Then they were asking for another deposit cause supposedly my deposit had been returned when I was still staying there and I asked to show me proof of the return the girl ignored me and then told me if stayed one more after that day I would need to pay the deposit again I told her I wouldn’t unless she could show me where the other deposit had been returned to me and she told me if I didn’t I would have to check out so I did. Never will go again. So dirty and disgusting and even when the maids would be cleaning the other rooms u could see where they were just in the rooms sitting down in there phones

Place is ok for an emergency night but it will be good if they put more effort on their rooms and sheets. Room is big with a nice floor but, walls and doors are dirty, Spider webs on the ceilings and dirty stained sheets. Please stay away from this place. When we checked in, the table and chairs were put upside down. The room carpet was stinky and dirty, we walked around in the room with socks on and straight away our socks turned black and dirty. The refrigerator was smelling so bad that we couldn’t use it. I booked the room through booking.com and it said breakfast included, however they have a board by check in window that mentions they are no longer serving breakfast. I don’t buy the reason that due to Covid they don’t provide breakfast, you can at least provide to-go breakfast to the guests, terrible and pathetic customer service, our room phone didn’t work either, how do we contact room service without that? I had to walk down anytime I needed anything. They also take 200$ security deposit upfront which is refundable if there’s no damage done during your stay. The room heating or cooling unit is so freaking old that it stinks, please help yourself to find a place elsewhere. The coffee machine stopped working after the initial usage, terrible place.

The room had ANTS. The pool was dirty, the towels I received had stains on them, there was dust on the bed frame like no one had cleaned it in forever. Staff was loud in the morning, ignored my “lights out” sign while yelling at each other from across the hall. Breakfast is a JOKE. It’s literally coffee and a nature valley bar.

Please stay away from this terrible place. We just hated our two night stay there. First of all they don’t serve free breakfast anymore and they don’t have it updated on their page yet. As soon as you enter the room - the entire room stinks! They didn’t even had furniture up and settled when we entered the room. We saw 4 chairs put upside down on a table like restaurant and a bed. When we went to the firing desk to let them know that may be some forgot to arrange our room- the person at the desk Simply said that it’s how it is. She didn’t even bother to say that let me have someone look at this for you:/ terrible customer service. As soon as we went to wash our face - my feet got wet so the carpet was damp and was sticking as well. I felt so so sick staying there for those two nights. Bathroom is okay. Their fridge sticks. Coffee maker is terrible. The pillows sticks…I can go on and on about this place. Please do me a favor and explore other options if you can please.

Room had strong smell of smoke and I had a non-smoking room. Table and chairs were almost ready to break. Hair dryer did not work. Coffee maker was placed where to outlet was found. Toilet was slow to flush. Check in was fast and friendly staff. At checkout it was nice to be remembered. Disappointed the pool was not open. No breakfast was served as well. The only amenities available was internet, which not the greatest, and free parking.

For an inexpensive motel it was OK. Bathroom sink did not drain well at all. Housekeeping took away the dirty washcloths and towels, but didn’t replace them or the soaps. Lucky for us we did not need to use the shower!OH, and DO NOT FORGET THE $200 CASH DEPOSIT!!!! We got it back when we left, but how many of us have an extra $200 in our wallets!?!However, it was conveniently located so we could spend Christmas with our SIL, daughter and grandchildren.

Made a reservation for 2 rooms, 2 queen beds for my wife, 4 children and one senior. It started when we showed up at the window and the service rep Letty Lopez told us to come back in 10 to 15 minutes due to the shift change, we waited with no issues. We came back 30 minutes later and mentioned that we had a reservation made online, we gave her my name and she said for a second time to go back in 10 to 15 minutes because the reservation was not showing yet. Once we came back she processed and gave us two rooms. Once my family and I got to the rooms as soon as we open the door both rooms had a very strong non pleasant odor but again we can live with that. Secondly as soon as we started putting our things down and preparing to get in to bed we notice a big stain that looked like blood on one of the sheets. Most of all 9 pillows sheets from both rooms had stains, one looking like saliva or other mucus type including long hairs and some short and very curly.The worst part was when I asked the front desk clerk if it was possible to get clean sheets and pillow covers, her response was “I don’t have any and besides that there is no one here to go changed them” I then asked what other options we had and she Letty said “ I can switch your rooms” I asked if it was possible for me to look at the rooms before we decide to move but she did not allowed us, She said that we needed to be out of the other rooms and we couldn’t chose the cleaner sheets. I went back to the rooms got my family and went back to the lobby to restart the process on the new rooms. At that point I asked her if the other new rooms were in the same condition if I was able to get a refund right away that way I can use that money to go somewhere else and she told me that it would be an issue since refunds that’s time. I expressed my concerns for the health of my family during this pandemic and when I said that she responded “I’m sorry but that is not my problem, I don’t deal with sheets or the maintenance of the rooms. If you want I can check you out now (11:20pm) but I truly don’t care as I said it’s not my problem. I asked for a mngr and or information of where I can speck with a manager and she said I don’t have that information, should I checked you out now” I ended staying, the second rooms were worst but with no other options considering the time and the refund issue. Hotel was very old and outdated. Furniture was worn and you could really see the years on it. The beds were comfy. The location was nice, gas station, fast food, sit down restaurants and target all within walking distance. The area felt safe. Pool was still closed, because of covid it was really small and looked extremely neglected. The worst part of this place was the cleanliness!!! It was dirty. The chairs on the room had cloth seats and they were stained and gross. If you have those types of chairs, they need to be shampooed and cleaned regularly! The floors in the room are hard wood and when walking around barefoot, like my 3 year old your feet turn black. Which means its not just dust its the fact that they arent mopped properly. The bathroom corners, around the tub and door had a thick gunk build up, again, somethig fixed with a proper clean after every stay. The wall by the bed was very dirty and you could see many previous guests dirt on the wall. I reached under the desk to open the drawer and instead grabbed the lip above the drawer handle and it was slimy..felt greasy. Overall a 0/10 for being clean. They charged us $140 at check in. When we checked out and recieved our receipt it said $114. We paid cash. So we had to speak to someone to receive the rest of our cash back. They gave a story about how much rooms ususlly are and that it was the computers fault for the discrepancy! Seems like a great way to make extra money charging $140 for a $114 room and pocketing the rest. I will say they had no problem giving the money back. The grab and go breakfast was a granola bar, coffee, tea and a couple juice box options. Not even worth walking to the office for. Overall i was very disappointed in the room. I dont reccomend staying here!

We booked through a third party and though our room wa a paid in full, for a two queen bed that included free breakfast, we were given one bed for two adults and two infants with no breakfast.We were immediately charged $200 deposit for a room that probably didn’t even have $150 worth of furniture and appliances.When we asked if we could at least upgrade for additional cost the office lady said “I can’t do anything for you and this room is nonrefundable, not changeable etc.” Which I would understand if we got what we paid for but we didn’t so why couldn’t she just rectify it and have some compassion on a family of four checking in after midnight because of a family emergency.The room was “clean” but definitely not cleaned well enough as within 5 minutes of not wearing shoes my feet were covered in dirt. Also found lots of dead bugs.Overall very much not please with the service, room or staff aside from a very nice cleaning lady who tried to help with a question about breakfast that’s “canceled due to COVID.” Even she seemed disappointed about the way things were run.If you just need a quick place to crash and don’t have much then go for it but if you have any other options. Take the other option.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My mother came in with a prepaid reservation and when she asked about the $100 per person? The lady didn’t want to explain and instead walked away and said I’m not talking to you anymore. Then when my mother proceeded to ask for her name she said “my name isn’t important” When I tell you my wig came unglued at the frustration of her customer service and I don’t even wear wigs. Long story short you know exactly what you did wrong which is why you couldn’t give out your name and l will showing up in person to speak with your higher ups.I completely unrelated to the situation decided to call. I asked for the room rate and such and she was able to tell me. It wasn’t until I was asking for the representative‘s name she hung up in my face. I then proceeded to call her from the house phone assuming something was wrong with my phone and she hung up in my face again. I don’t know who the lady is but she has a Middle Eastern accent and she is very rude. That is not a way to carry business and I will definitely be back to speak to her manager.

My room I reserved for Disabled downstairs didnt have a working A/C, they said they could give me a fan! UNACCEPTABLE! 2nd Room was clean but upstairs. I took it anyways. But MICROWAVE DIDNT WORK and the table and chairs were loose and wobbly. I was afraid to sit in the chairs. Also the Pool/Jazuzzi was closed and No Continental Breakfast! Customer service was very sweet. Booking was fast and simple. The room was clean and very pretty! Very good lighting (so many light switches, which I found to be convenient to not awaken my partner). There was a heater and A/C. The outdoors is lovely, with all the palm trees, the green grass, and the fountain (I was on the 2nd floor so the view was nice!)

The welcome of the person in charge of the reception desk is not very good, but it is effective. The rooms are equipped with a bar, microwave, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and a 36 ”television. It has a small dining table and two chairs. The carpet looks dirty, it is better to wear sandals all the time you walk in the room. What you receive is fine for the price. The free breakfast offered does not enjoy it, they are super punctual when you check it out at specific times. For one or two nights this hotel is not bad. It is behind a gas station, with access to restaurants that you can walk around, go to the cinema. Near downtown Downey.

We are on vacation and found this Days Inn to be the only reasonably priced hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. They come with a mini fridge and microwave. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub. The only problem we have had is they discontinued the continental breakfast. We were really counting on that to help save some money.

This location allowed us to check in two hours early and drop our things off at our room. They motel is surrounded by metal bar fencing. Still not sure if it is very safe there. Currently they are doing remodeling on a couple rooms. When we got back to our room we found that the TV did not work, there was a cigarette hole in the comforter (at a non-smoking facility) and there was over an inch gap under the door to outside. It was sufficient but there are no comforts.

We checked in this hotel on Sunday night. The lady at the front desk was very rude durning check in once my brother in law came in she started to act nice. We got two double queen rooms 4 adults and two children what should of been none smoking . Room 116 smelled like someone was smoking marijuana and room 115 had their white sheets and towels dirty. The next morning my Boyfriend woke up with bites on the back of his leg which we believe is bed bugs and I have pictures to prove the bites . We notified the lady the worked next morning but she was also being completely rude and didn’t want to help us. When I was trying to turn in my keys right at 11am she told me that she was going to charge me another night and I am lucky I turned in my keys on time. I use to work as a hotel receptionist and it is very disappointing they had to act that way.

When I walked into the shower, there was a bar of soap with hair, and two bottles of used shampoo. I asked for new soap and extra shampoo, they gave it to me. Although that is a given, they were sincerely sorry, and they gave us great service, including giving us free toothbrush, which we forgot. WARNING !!!!!! DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL !!!The price was great for 3 nights but not worth it . Wasp surrounded the door upon arrival . Bed bugs bit me and my girlfriend all over our bodys . There was a cockroach in the room our second night there . We called to let the front desk know but was told there was nothing she could do and we were unable to check out until the next morning . We slept in our car because of the bed bugs and roach. And the room was not all that cleaned and didnt smell right . I believe in the brand of Days Inn. That was the reason why I chose this place over many other choices. However, it was a disappointment and a disgrace to its kind. The price was not worth it whatsoever.Although I carefully booked a Queen Room with two Queen Bed three days in advance through the website, the lady receptionist told us there was only room with one bedroom left for three members of our family as we came. So that, three of us spent two nights here sleeping in just one queen bed and had no room to take a breath. The room was big, though.The cleanliness was significantly needed to improve as the carpet had many stains. What genuinely horrible here was that I found someone hair, very likely a girl who has a long brown hair, in our bed the first night we stayed. There were also cigarette burnt spots and dry-blood alike on the mattress. The good thing was that I made a complaint about it to the front desk and they made everything up the very next day. The breakfast was quite good. The wifi was good too.

Called the office 2 different occasions and they said nothing was reported found when they cleaned the room. Very upset the items leafy behind where not valuable but they where meaningful.Can’t imagine loosing something valuable, they definitely would not report and return that to the owner.BE CAREFUL. I had a reservation there on 06-18-22 . I got my reservation with 2 week anticipation. And I got an email with my confirmation number. But when I arrived there around 1 amthe young lady in the front desk check on her computer and she said she didn’t have anything for me and she said that she didn’t have anything rooms available then after that everything became a nightmare, in the middle of the night with my family in the car. Then I had to find another hotel, an hour later the young lady called saying she found my reservation. This lady did not qualified for her job.

I can ignore the tagging in the bathroom, the poor examples of fit and finish like a mirror crookedly screwed to the wall), or even the exterior door that looks like its been kicked in once or twice. What I have trouble with is people constantly disturbing the room. Its bad enough the beds arent smooth and the Air Conditioning cant keep the rooms at a consistent temperature. The first day we got in the lobby was closed so that we had to wait outside in the cold to use the night drop window, but it was only 4pm on a Saturday. The lady was very rude. Our sink was backed up and unusable tilk the next night. The key cards kept acting up so that we had to revisit the front lobby to get them fixed. Luckily the new lady was incredibly helpful and sweet. She even had the lobby opened up, and this was 8pm on sunday night. Still though this was a pretty bad experience over all even for the price

My trip was ruined. Just when were getting ready to sleep, my daughter jumped from the bed. There was bed bugs!!!! GROSS!! I called front desk and they said all they could do was refund me, so basically were left in the street almost middle of night, had no rest because all the hotels were booked. Not only this, but I was charged twice!!! This has been so uncomfortable and I feel grossed out, tired and sleepy.

Bed bugs infested place. The worst ever experience in my life. Awful old furniture that practically falls apart in pieces. Also she added that If I found one bug then thats probably the only one that was there. So, no big deal? Or no big surprise for front desk about infected rooms?Less then 1 star hotel.

Hard to believe Wyndham is associated with this hotel. Its not worth the $100 I paid for... the bed was hard and lumpy, the door lock was broken and had the battery pack just hanging there, and my wash cloth had a big rip in it. The time now is 4:30pm. The lobby doors are locked. No one is answering the phone number shown on the website. The price per room online shows $71 a night with taxes included. Quite possibly the most negative and potentially dangerous hotel stay ever. All three chairs were rickety and one actually started to come apart. One nightstand drawer pulled completely out and almost hit my feet. The drawer had gang sign written all over inside. The fabric on the chairs did also. The electrical receptacle by the desk would not hold a plug. I had to remove all the bedding except the sheets due to marijuana sift in the blanket. I specifically asked for a quiet room. Right behind me was a 24 hour big rig loading dock. Loud sudden clanking all night long. At least the toilet, shower and sheets were clean. As a seasoned traveling Special Inspector I am accustomed to having no choice of hotels occasionally. I stayed at this hotel around 2001. I remember because it was new and very well run. That is not true today.Additionally be warned the intersection traffic at which the hotel is located is like being in a 3rd world country without any realist traffic engineering. To travel just a mile at 8pm and again at 11am both required waiting through 4 full cycles of the signal. A complete mess and almost impossible to make the most basic of other than staying in the lane and driving to the next street maneuvers.I rarely make such a recommendation.Although the workers were pleasant I must advise ;AVOID AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY.
