The property was informed that I was medically unwell; yet countered about how well I appeared to be; and refused to give a refund. I will never stay at this property. I will be strongly encouraging Concur & my travel agency to remove this hotel from their property listing.

Money Saving Pro tip: Anytime you make a reservation online beforehand and the hotel makes you sign a paper with your reserved rate the day you arrive, it means the current hotel rate has changed and gone CHEAPER. Don’t sign the paper they give you yet. Google their current hotel rate and ask for it to be matched with lower current rate.Otherwise they’ll happily steal your money.

At the 2-star price point, I would rather pay a little bit more and get a better stay. Other motels in the price range like Comfort Inn had a full breakfast bar, that included bacon, a waffle maker, multiple juices, fruits, and milk. They had a whole cereal selection. This place had 1 bottle of OJ to pour out and some muffins and that was it. My room was small and the shower was tiny. The microwave had a broken handle so I could not open and use it. The TV had no channels that I could select.

I wish I could give negative stars for this review. We booked a last minute reservation at this Santa Maria location the condition of the room was horrible when we spoke with the manager about it he was extremely rude and was not willing to take accountability or assist with the situation. We are very dissatisfied with our stay here and will never book again.

This manager doesnt allow ANY company. My brother was going to drop by with my stuff but the guy running the office wouldnt allow even that!An app on my phone for checking spy cams and bugs was PEGGED. This place sucks. But the motel 6 just down the block is excellent!

Great room and service WiFi is the best of area hotels. Stay in Santa Maria often. On Main Street so some car noise but overall great place for overnight or longer stays. My favorite place in Santa Maria and have stayed in 7 other comparable and better places in town. Close to freeway and downtown.

Clean. Great price. Vons next door. Dennys is a few blocks away and thats almost the only 24 hour place if you need a late dinner or early breakfast. Close to the hospital if your visiting a loved one who is admitted.

WONDERFUL service!!! SUPER clean rooms and bathroom and bedsheets and great toiletries!! Lots of channels internet TV and excellent continental breakfast with local muffins and bananas and plenty of coffee and orange juice. Convenient location to get to Dunes and right off the 101 and close to restaurants! The checkin desk waited patiently after my late night booking to make sure I could checkin when I arrived after midnight and I am really grateful for that!!!

Close to the shopping mall and freeway. Nicely priced and great front desk clerk. Nice to have breakfast included. The rooms are clean. Parking was right next to the room so it was easy to unpack the car.

The room I had appeared to have been recently renovated, which was nice. It was small, but I was solo, so it suited my needs, and it was very clean. It was a decent rate for a decent room this close to the coast and is only a couple blocks off 101. It had a coffee maker and fridge, but since I didnt need one, I didnt notice if there was a microwave, and the wall mounted AC worked great. I didnt watch TV, but there was a small flat screen. The bed was very comfortable with good pillows. It has a decent looking pool and is close to a Dennys, a Weinerschnitzel, and a diner called The Boys that has a good breakfast.The staff were friendly and efficient, and check-in was a breeze.My only knocks are that the shower comes straight down from the center of the ceiling, which made soaping up and shaving a challenge. Also, the traffic noise was pretty bad until around 10pm.Id stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were fine. Recently updated enough and comfortable. My only real critique is noise. The walls are very thin. I could hear my neighbors on both sides. (One watching TV and the other chatting at normal volume levels.) Thankfully the noise went through the wall both ways and I was able to cough a few times to ensure that the TV went off by 11:00. Pillows and bed were a bit hard for my taste, but others might find them perfect. The pool looked lovely though I didnt use it on my visit. Wifi was fast and free. It was a great no-frills place to spend the night on a trip up the coast.

First off, Check in was easy. They do charge a $150 deposit for “Incidental Damage” but reimburse it obviously if there’s no damage. What I can say about this Inn is you get what you pay for I guess… The bathroom is spacious which is a plus. But unfortunately I did NOT have a good experience when it came time for me to sleep. The bed was on the hard side, And the pillows were the most uncomfortable pillows I’ve ever laid my head on. This essentially only works if you need some place to crash for the night, Not anything long term.

At the front desk, Mr. Dias was very pleasant and understanding with us as we needed to check-in before the check-in time of 3pm. Rooms were very neat and clean. The bed was comfortable, pillows were ok. Next time we will book directly with the hotel itself versus the hotel apps. Thank you, Mr. Dias, We will definitely be back as this was our second stay here.

Having been to many hotels in the US, this one is way below expectations. Used furniture, no coffee machine despite the photos and the worst breakfast ever with no tea, the fruit juice machine empty and turned off and the cheapest yukiest muffins ever... Rooms are okay very cheap style for paying $165 / per night wasnt worth the stay. We stayed for 2 nights but didnt liked it compared to where we stayed in other Days Inn. Bathroom shower tap was the worst placement all the water comes out of the standing bath even with curtains. Bathroom tiles are all bad, looks like DIY by the owner. Free breakfast is worst! Banana and packet cupcakes.

Rooms are small, not well cleaned, dust and sand on the floors, and furniture is well past its prime. The room had no closet to hang your clothes and barely enough room to walk around the bed.Service desk employe was rude and insulting with my wife but treated me differently. We arrived 1 hr before check-in time and were refused access to our room, which was already paid for, serviced and available. He wouldnt check us in until 3:00 pm unless we gave him $20. We refused and waited 1 hr.We were told that there was a breakfast served. It consisted of weak regular coffee, no decaf, day old pre-packaged muffins, one half bottle of OJ and a couple of green bananas. Not what you would call good breakfast.We travel a lot and have never been refused chech-in when only an hour early at Days Inn or any other hotel chain. We have never had to pay a bribe for access to our room, and we have never seen such a sorry excuse for a breakfast. There are plenty of other nice motels/hotels around we wont be returning to this Days Inn ever.

I read the negative reviews about this Days Inn but when I showed up, it was much worse than expected. I stayed at the beginning of August and it costed $242 for 1 room, 2 queen beds, definitely a RIPOFF. The beds were small, probably full size, not queen. One of the beds was placed right next to the AC, almost touching it and preventing the cool air from cooling the room. The room was extremely small, there was barely 2 feet of space between the edge of the bed and the chair/desk area. The bathroom had a shower only, not the usual shower/bathtub combination. There were only 3 hangers in the room and when I tried to call the front desk, I phone does not work, surprise! Breakfast was a very sad joke. Multiple machines were out of order. There were only a few pre-packaged muffins, a few bananas, and regular coffee. You want half & half in your coffee? Forget it, they only have creamer powder. The message is clear: DO NOT BOOK here, not worth your money at all.

Not worth $200 a night, $60 maybe? Old, rundown, falling apart (literally). New floors and a couple nice pictures does not hide the bad/dirty/missing parts furniture, missing light bulbs, very loose sink faucet, and busted curtains and microwave. Definitely wont be staying here again. Will definitely spend a little more for a better stay elsewhere.

Literally only one power outlet in the entire room that is accessible unless you want to sacrifice your AC. There was no actual breakfast and the front desk attendant was unapologetic. She could care less. There were a handful of gas station type wrapper muffins sitting out on the counter and some coffee. No fruit. Not even Togo plastic utensils (just in case you brought your own). As a rewards member I’m am eligible to get a late checkout but was only given 30 minutes. Working remotely and I needed noon. Then, with the do not disturb sign on the door, housekeeping tried to come in while I was working. There is clearly zero F’s given here and you should spend your money elsewhere. Maybe you’ll at least the get the advertised amenities someplace else.

Manager was rude to us for the 2 nd time in a couple of years. We arrived early for check in, 1 10 minutes early to be exact. Manager said the room is ready but your too early he said we could pay him $20 more and we could have the room. We declined. We wont be staying here ever again.

Breakfast was very disappointing, we went to the lobby at 9 AM and only found 2 bars of cereal and 1 banana. Thats it, nothing else. Terrible for the expensive price of the night of $240. Then at night after our friends wedding, we couldnt find a parking spot, so we parked next to the pool hoping we wouldnt be towed away. The next morning, the housekeepers moved those giant cars for carrying towels at 8 AM and didnt care if the noise of those carts disturbed the guests (sounded like a railroad outside). The second day, they didnt make the beds, which was a surprise for the pricey hotel night. The hotels are not investing in refurbishing or refreshing the rooms. Two days was enough. We never come back. worse than a third-world hotel.

We stayed here 4/10 to 4/11 2021 and had a room with two beds. I am normally pretty forgiving with my reviews but this place was gross. The room was dirty and small. The pictures on the booking websites do not match the room you get. Aside from making the bed, I dont think they even cleaned the room from the last several guests. There was dirt and dust bunnies along all the floorboards, layers of dust on the lamp shades, grubby hand prints on the walls, and mold all over the bathroom walls and ceiling. The shower curtains were too small and water spilled all over the floor while showering and they only give you like 3 towels that felt like sand paper. However, my biggest complaint was the beds. The mattresses were total garbage, like sleeping on a sheet of plywood that you could feel the springs through. Hands down the worst hotel bed Ive ever slept on and Ive stayed at a lot of hotels before. I will never stay here again and I recommend that you dont stay here either, unless you want to be very disappointed.

We originally stayed here on August 1st-2nd 2020, and we came back August 28th-29th 2020. Why? The customer service is so exceptionally wonderful! We even requested to have the same room. The room was so cute! Everything was CLEAN, the bed was so comfortable! Bathroom was CLEAN. Everything was in working condition. Wooden floors were CLEAN. So we went back a second time and guess what??? Everything was clean! We had no issues with the area or the parking lot. Plenty of restaurants down the street and even a Vons. For the price, this is a great place to stay! Looking forward to our next stay! 5 stars!

I have 2 words for this place: KEEP DRIVING! Two double beds that left no room to get out of bed on one side of each bed. Seriously double beds?! We tried the TV & couldnt get any channel besides fox news. Went to call the manager & the light above the phone didnt work but that was no big deal because the phone didnt work. Im disabled & was in a lot of pain & couldnt have walked to the office. My boyfriend could & he fetched the manager who did something to the TV to make it work. When I told him the phone didnt work, he told us to use our cellphone. Yes, the phone was plugged in. When I told him just wait until I post my review & he actually laughed. He didnt care. I dont know how well the pictures show but the wall next to the bed was dirty, the A/C vents wouldnt stay in place, a lampshade had holes in it, the furniture had chips in it, the refrigerator was warm, one of the towels was stained & to top it off they had no raised toilet seat or shower chair for disabled guests! Breakfast consisted of little (& I do mean little) store-bought pastries & lousy coffee. Ive stayed in plenty of Days Inns that were nice. While not far from the freeway, it is in a sketchy part of town. DO NOT STAY HERE!! BTW Ive NEVER given any review less that 3 stars before. This place deserved it!

The rooms had a weird smell that was not pleasant. The pillows were not soft and were more like sofa cushions. I had to use my jacket as a pillow because I couldnt sleep comfortably. The staff was friendly and welcoming but gave us bags with granola bars, muffins, yogurt, and a whole apple as breakfast because of Covid. That was a bit annoying. The location was nice. There was a bit of noise but there is a Dennys nearby and other places for food as well.

Arrived at hotel around 10PM for check in, there was no parking available. Staff said to park in Handicap spot (when asked if its okay he didnt sound very confident on his advice). There was a Taco truck parked in the hotel parking lot which stayed till at least 11:30PM with many non-guest coming into parking lot just below our room and causing disturbance late at night. When it comes to room it was tiny, sheets and towels had stains on them, bathroom shower had very low pressure and overall not clean. I cant suggest this property to anyone. I only stayed here as a last resort and would not stay again.

Came here to see my brother after a death in the family and after 13 hours of travel booked a room, walking up to the room, ( we where on the 2nd floor ) going up the steps fentonayl Fran was sitting on the steps and she was moving back and forth, I said excuse me and she didnt move out of the way,I said excuse me again and she said I heard you but didnt move, we barged up the steps and pushed my way past her. We got to our room and opened the door it smelled very musty. The sheet had a blood stain on it, and the comforter was torn and ripped. Had I not been so tired I would not have stayed. I expect better from a Wyndham hotel.

The bathroom needed some repairs, the towel rack was rusty and the bathroom doesn’t have an exhaust fan. The Cable TV did not work for 1 day but they didn’t want to give us a discount or credit for what we paid for the room. The heater/AC is blocked by the curtain so it takes awhile to heat up the room. The front desk staff were not friendly and accommodating.

If you just need a bed too sleep in, its fine. The rooms are very small and the walls are very thin. Its a little sketchy and I dont recommend staying with Kids. We didnt want to sleep under the covers either. This is one of those places you stay if you need a cheap room or its a last resort. I wont stay here again.

The booking website mentioned that the hotel accepts service animals. However, when I arrived, the manager informed me that the hotel does not accept pets. That the website made a mistake and I should have called them, instead of believing the website. He charged me a undisclosed $50 pet fee. When I left my worn laundry on the white bed sheets, after removing the white comforter, it left a blue stain, tomy surprise. However, all of the laundry had been freshly washed! When I left the room, I came back to find that someone had removed the latch from the lever that flushes the comode. It was not a broken chain, but a secure metal piece, that was tampered with, unmistakenly. At the same time, I found blackened water, under the sink. I used a towel, to wipe up the water. The towels are white also. The manager checked the room and came back with pictures of the 2 towels that I used to soak up the water, under the sink. He claimed that I did it, caused the darkened water. He said that I should have reported it, but it happened the day before check out. He charged me another $10. He informed me that I could not have any visitors, when I first checked in. Although I was polite and modestly dressed in decent attire.

Decent spot in Santa Maria located near a few restaurants and a service station. Breakfast was pretty standard with cereals and fruit. It wasnt too bad. Rooms are also pretty standard with average beds but very strange pillows. Pillows werent too comfy. Overall what you should expect for a motel stay.

Stayed here one night on 4/16 - 4/17. The rooms are tiny and look nothing like the pictures. All the furniture is damaged and nicked up. The beds are old and you can feel the springs. I wouldve found another place to stay but we arrived in the evening after coming down from Oakland.

For the price, its not bad. Rooms are small, but the key is that AT THIS PRICE POINT, you get a decent bang for the buck. Reasonable breakfast, a pretty recently renovated room, that seemed very clean, access to a pool, and parking close by. Luxury? No. Big fluffy towels? No. economy yes. A few quirks....the lack of electrical outlet to use to charge a cellphone was an issue, as I actually had to move a piece of furniture to unplug the microwave to get to an outlet. Similarly, the pillows on the bed were 4 square pillows, like one might find on a couch in pillow cases, as opposed to the typical oblong pillows that are more common.

Oh boy, where to start. Room was dirty and very small. Bathroom was OK. There was no alarm clock (I found it under the bed) and there was no electrical outlets to plug any electronics in. Drawers did not close and kept sliding open. The front desk attendant asked me 3 times if I smoked. When giving my key back at 7am after my stay, found the front desk employee sleeping. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else, this place is not worth it.

Very small rooms. Loud as its near the highway. At night quite a few men showed up in work trucks and filled up the parking lot over night. I am not sure if people live there or what thats about. Dont expect too much, this is a no frills hotel. The room was moderately clean, small, and had thin walls. The beds looked and felt clean and comfortable. Free wi-fi and free parking. The area seemed relatively safe. Breakfast was limited with yogurt, croissants, fruits, cereal, coffee, tea, juice, and milk; Dennys is just right down the street. Just a short drive from the 101 makes it easy to find. Located a short driving distance from Trader Joes, Costco, Walmart, Target. All in all, a decent place to stay if youre on a small budget and just need a place to sleep for the night out by the coast.

Lady at the front was nice but she said there was no guests allowed even when i booked two people. I pay for the night i best not be hearing staff tell me i cant have a guest. I am a quiet professional male, there for one night. Never heard anyone at any hotel chain ever tell me that. I also heard bad things about hotels in lompoc or santa maria, which i come to find they are true. They charge you a large deposit if your a local. I was about to cancel and book another hotel had i not been so tired. Next time i will not consider any hotel that dictates my comfort in bringing a guest or dares charges me a 400 dollar deposit for staying one night. The rooms are small and the breakfast is not good, its 7-10am. I went at 8 and there was no fruit, no eggs, no sausages, no muffin, no yogurt, and no whole wheat bread, no beagles, just coffee, milk, and cereal. Stayed one night. Checked out, an hour after heading north I realized I had left my brand new Bluetooth headphones. I called and the person at the front desk was very unhelpful. Said all I could do was come back and check the room. Since, I was working that would not be possible right away. In a matter of a couple hours I received an email that they are closing the case and that was the end of it.I totally blame myself for leaving the phones behind. However, I do have an issue with thieves and companies who don’t care that their paying customers are being ripped off. This was handled poorly. They gave me the impression like I should just let it go and forget about it.The whole time I was and would continue to be 100% calm about this. It’s not end of the world but its the principal that matters to me.If you’re looking at somewhere to stay, don’t pick Days Inn. We should not reward selfish, inconsiderate and callous businesses.

I have been staying here while in the process of relocation. That is up until a week ago. I was told by the manager Erica that she did not have a room available for me on one particular night. I googled other hotels in area, but could not help but notice Days Inn had a big red flag sale on their rooms. I called her and told her. She insisted she was booked. I went the following day to book a room elsewhere when I noticed that she placed an unauthorized charge of $470.40 on my CC. It left me with only $90.00 avail credit. It was not enough for me to book a new room. I wrote her a letter explaining this and asked to be comped a room for the night as this was the 2nd time she had placed a unauthorized charge on my CC. I explained to her that I was able to accommodate her the 1st time around, but that I did not have enough money to do it again. It takes 15 days for an erroneous charge to fall off. She was unwilling to work with the bank to do this. Again I noticed Days Inn ad for sale rates on the night in ?. On further notice she had also charged me for the night she claimed was unavailable. I called staff on 3rd shift. He booked me in the room as he too could see there were openings. By this time however I had written a 2nd letter requesting a room comp because I still did not have an answer or a room since the 1st request. In the meantime the employees were unable to remove the unauthorized charge due to feeling that it was too complicated a task and long hold periods by B of A my bank. Erica the manager began behaving in a very odd fashion. I left my room one morning only to come back to my wet shower towels being missing with no replacements. I called and requested towels. A maid came looking very embarassed. I knew that someone had used the towels as an excuse to check out my room. It was not the maid. I was still in the process of trying to get the CC charges removed. At this point I had purchased property and really needed the money for deposits, etc... The other strange things happening is that my keys were being deactivated. On one morning I had to go to the mail box. The head of housekeeping asked me where I was going? I thought this odd, but said to the mail box. Well as I got to the mail box I remembered I had forgotten my key which had just been rekeyed again the night before. I raced back. ERICA the manager was just steps from my door. She would not look at me, so I forced her to greet me. I knew I had caught this little crew red handed checking out my room. This time determined not to spoil my plans I left out so as not to leave a visual for anyone to see me leave. I came back and once again my keys had been deactivated. Erica told me she could no longer extend my stay as she was unhappy with my letters. I told her fine but at this point demanded that my CC be fixed. She agreed, but did not do it. she left it for the next shift who also could not figure out how to remove the charges. This girl asked me to stay and talk to the bank. Well as I was talking to my bank rep I was describing all of the odd behaviour from this manager. I told her I felt that I should get out of this hotel as quickly as possible. The staff listening in to my conversation got upset and handed me a federal notice similar to an amber alert addressed to me. It notified me that a police officers vehicle had been stolen and that his laptop contained sensitive information in it regarding me. The letter was dated 5/16/16. One day before all of this strange behavior began. This was the real reason for all of the antagonistic behaviour trying to get me to move, then when that didnt work making up reasons to evict me. Yesterday Erica sent a Vagrant to my door to try to frighten me. I opened the door he grabbed my hand. I quickly grabbed it back and shut the door. This woman would not stop terrorizing me. By the way my amber alert was opened and resealed. It was impossible to open from all of the glue used to reseal. A forensic test would prove it. My attorney has been contacted.
