Dave’s hot chicken has been advertised EVERYWHERE, and I mean everywhere. I see videos about their chicken probably more than I see my family. So obviously, I had to try.I finally had the opportunity to go to Dublin so I came to this restaurant and I was very excited. I ordered the hot one slider one tender combo and the price was quite shocking but the chicken looked so good I figured it was worth the price.However, when I got my food it was just so underwhelming. It looks extremely seasoned and delicious but once I began to eat it was filled with a spicy powder that some how lacked flavor?? I felt like i was just eating a bunch of seasoning slapped onto a weird slab of chicken I couldn’t even taste. I don’t know how it’s possible to put so much seasoning on food and have it taste like nothing. Fries weren’t very crispy and the chicken wasn’t either. Pickles were fire though.Overall, I’m just very underwhelmed and I think it’s safe to say this place is overhyped. I don’t believe it’s a store problem and just how the chicken was made. I def think everyone should give this place a try but don’t expect too much.

I went looking for regular pieces of chicken. Like a leg, thigh you know fried chicken. All they have is these tender type sandwiches. Different heat ranges plain to very hot. It was good, but not what I was looking for. Still looking for good fried chicken.

I like the art style and decor of the restaurant, tasteful graffiti style. The service is quick and attentive, easy to order and get other service. The food is very tasty, well spiced and flavorful chicken, texture is great for both chicken and fries. Love coming with friends.

So excited that a Dave’s Hot Chicken shop finally opened near me. This is absolutely my favorite chain from LA and eating it for the first time in the Bay Area, I can say the quality and taste are on point.I visited this location for opening weekend and it was packed even at night, but the line moved fast and the food came out quickly. There’s lots of seating both inside and outside the restaurant.Food-wise you have your standard options between tenders and sliders, both of which are delicious and huge (such great value for the price compared to some other chicken shops). Eat combo comes with fries and pickles on the side and you have to get some extra Dave’s sauce which makes the whole meal taste even better.This is definitely going to become my go-to now that it’s near by!

Very great location. Much better location than any Daves hot chicken Ive been too. The Chicken strips and sliders are fresh and tasty. Great flavor, also glad they serve 🍒 Coke.

The 2 Sliders was too much for even a typical guy like me, plus the fries with only 1 small cup of water. Recommend just getting single portion of 1 slider or 1 tender

Absolutely LOVED this Dave’s when it first opened but the quality has gone completely downhill since. our chicken from the order was absolutely HUGE (no complaint) abut half of it wasn’t even actual chicken. the chicken itself was such an awkward piece that could’ve easily been cut a different way. in general the quality on it wasn’t great and the slider itself was mid, which is so disappointing because last year when they opened it was really good and fresh. please bring back the OG quality 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

The chicken and milkshakes are really good. There is a large variety of spice levels so you can choose whats right for you. The wait time for your food to come is not long. Overall I think this is a great place to eat and to top it all off, this place is halal, making it okay to eat for anyone.
