David is a genius. He’s also super kind and informative. He rebuilt my old PC and took his time to explain everything to me. He was easy to talk to and educated me on everything going on with my computer and he worked with my needs and desires without being pushy or upselling. What a joy to work with a real human being and not someone working for a soulless corporation. I can go on and on about how happy my family and I are. Highly recommend all his services. When the cooling system on my PC caused damage to my GPU, I took my computer in to Daves. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, diagnosing the issue in seconds. He was able to fix everything and then some and return my PC to me incredibly fast. Very much appreciated that since I use it daily. Very happy with my service at Daves!

Dave is very honest and reliable and fast! Took my computer in Friday evening and he had it up and running amazingly by Monday. Was able to get my BitLockered computer wiped and brand new again. I had previously taken it to geek squad who told me they’d have to put a new hard drive in and that was going to cost a lot on a brand new, year old computer. Dave worked his magic and made the computer brand new as is with original parts. Can’t thank you enough Dave! He has 5-stars for a reason!

My sons gaming laptop wouldnt turn on and after being told by another computer repair place that the laptop would need to be replaced, we went to Dave for a second opinion. He immediately went to work to find and fix the issue and made sure we understood everything he was doing. He charged a low price for the repair and a gave a one year warranty. Dave will be our first choice for computer repair from now on

Great work and very friendly. I went in with a unique request to fix an old gaming mouse that needed new switches soldered on. Every other shop refuses to do the work. I thought I would have to ship the mouse abroad to get it fixed! But Dave worked with me, took my job, and did it all at a very generous price and did great work going above and beyond. I needed it fixed ASAP as I use it for my work. I searched for Computer services on yelp and contacted several of them in the Burbank and Glendale areas. All of them wanted me to leave the computer in the store for a minimum of 2 days.I stumbled upon Daves computer when I went to purchase water which happens to be his fathers store next door. I described the issue to Dave. He asked me the model number, year and said that he would need to order the parts. Once he received the parts he would fix my computer the same day in a couple of hours.Dave ordered the parts, gave me a call and I took it in. I got a call back in 2 hours that my computer is fixed and ready to be picked up.He went above and beyond by cleaning the inside and outside of my computer. He also noticed that the thermal paste was worn out and replaced it for no charge.The service was quick and the price he quoted was fair and reasonable (about 50% of what the other stores quoted).He also has a great sense of humor and keeps the customer at ease.I would recommend Daves Computer and IT Services to my friends.

He took several photos about how he fixed my laptop, which is very impressive and i can tell he is very skilled and organized. The price is reasonable. Was having problems with my nintendo switch, called dave told him the problem and he said bring it to the store and I will take a look. He calls me after a few weeks and says that it is fixed and is working perfectly. Great guy, very helpful, very informative, all around the best for your computer needs. I highly recommend for anyone that is having computer problems. He is the guy to go to.

I was having issues with my first ever PC build. The bios wouldn’t load on my monitor, and I had a red light on my motherboard indicating the problem. I called Dave for help, and he said to bring it in for a free diagnostic. Dave is super friendly, kind, and knows his stuff. He opened it up in front of me, and found the problem within minutes. He really knows what hes doing, and I can promise you that he will do all that he can to help and fix your tech issues. He works fast, too! Hes also very hardworking. My laptop screen was shattered and broken. I really needed it for school and personal reasons, and I was returning home very soon. After trying some other places and getting nowhere, I was so lucky to find Dave. He was able to really help me, and Ive been so grateful since. I was taken aback by how professional he was. Amazing services completely amazing this guy is a miracle worker. He brought back my computer from the dead and Im not kidding.... I took my computer to get done in three other places. Every single one of them said nothing can be done its gone accidentally my son dropped water and completely messed up the motherboard, but Dave a miracle worker literally helped me so much with my Lenovo that I had originally paid for $2,200 in 2019 at Best Buy. Dave is a very tech savvy, easy going and trustworthy guy with amazing service and knowledge in computers. Dave offers top notch computer service, affordable prices and great communications with customers.I brought in my Asus ROG as the laptop cpu fans stopped working and the cpu is over heating a lot. Dave went above and beyond not only replacing the fan but also cleaning out and replacing heat sink as soon as he found out the paste is in bad conditions. My laptop functions much better than I newly bought it! The fans now dissipate a lot more heat while remain quiet!Dave is very transparent and gives reasonable and affordable prices. Many other places I asked needs to have your devices in for 2 to 3 days just for a diagnosis and charges you $30 to $50 before the actual repair. Dave, however, is willing to work with customers and is honest about the price range, which is much lower than many other places.Dave has a very efficient and diligent work style and fixed my computer in one day. He also communicate very well and explains thoroughly on what tasks he performed on my laptop with detailed pictures.I would recommend him to anyone who needs computer and IT services or consultation!

I had an old Acer laptop that I had a ton of pictures and documents on which I wanted to be able to extract and eventually import to my new laptop. The old one would only turn on and stay on for like 2 minutes and then shut down, even when the power cord was plugged in. I went to a couple places in Burbank and Glendale and everyone told me there was nothing they could do to help and the computer was basically a total loss and nothing could be saved. I then remembered seeing Daves Computer Repair shop near my house and figured Id give his shop a chance. I stopped in on a whim and the owner Dave was there, he was super friendly and said he would be able to help retrieve my pictures and documents and get them on my new laptop. He was able to do it and it only took 1 full business day. I was very impressed and have since referred family and friends to him. I highly recommend Dave and his business. He is now my go to! We are even going to have him install a home security camera system at our house. Thanks again Dave!!! You are a life saver and good at what you do!!

I recently had my Asus Zenbook Pro 14 laptop keyboard replaced at Daves shop. Some of the keys were no longer working, which made my work difficult to complete. When I came to pick up my repaired laptop, he reported his diagnosis and showed me the source of the old keyboard problem. The problem was the result of an electrical short due to liquid and moisture.What really took me aback was the fact that this model had a very specific keyboard which was not easy to source (being a laptop mostly released outside the U.S.). Somehow, Dave sourced a new replacement keyboard from another similar Asus model which was compatible with my Screenpad (Asuss unique track/touch mouse pad which is also a 2nd mini screen). He custom configured the keyboard and laptops internal conenctions to restore specific functions to the Asus Screenpad hardware. This was no ordinary switch and swap operation. How he managed to do this and make things work to factory spec and feel is beyond me. I might add the he did it very well with using genuine Asus parts.Lastly, before putting things back together, he took the liberty of cleaning the internals, cooling fans, vents, as well as replacing the CPU thermal paste. Now, the whole laptop runs cooler and looks new. Even the new keyboard backlight is nice and bright again. Honestly, for the amount of service and expertise Dave puts in his work, it is money well spent.Thank you Dave!

My old desk top crash after the circuit breakers were tripped and photos & documents were on the hard drive. Quick and professional. I was in need of a repair for the charger for my laptop. I took in the damaged (universal) charger that I had bought as a replacement for my Lenovo charger that had broken prior. The gentleman that helped me advised me to not use universal chargers as they can burn the product if not original. To my luck he had the original charger at a wonderful price. Dave was super helpful. My monitor casing was falling apart due to some internal loose screws I could not get to myself. He had the proper tools and the know how to take apart my monitor, and re-assemble with the screws in place. I was in and out of there in about an hour. Ive been meaning to write this review for a while so here it goes! I found Dave on Google and he was close by my house so I thought what the hell Ill give him a shot and boy Im glad I did. The first job I brought to him was a locked laptop from my mom who passed away and had a lot of sentimental photos still on the computer which I could not access. Dave put my mind at ease and was able to back up the entire hard drive and get me access to the computer. His rates were so affordable that I decided to go ahead and upgrade the computer while I was there. Now my computer runs super fast and better than ever! I brought my external hard drive by, and David was honest with me (since I shared the contents of the hard drive wasnt very valuable) and told me it would be cheaper to replace it rather than fixing it. He then took the time and sat down with me to recommend other hard drives that might suit my needs from an outside source online. He basically lost money and was honest with me instead of fixing my hard drive unnecessarily. Ill be bringing my electronics here in the future from now on if they require servicing.

Very happy I found Dave. I was mostly just looking for a place nearby, and Im lucky I manage to come across someone so knowledgeable, fair, and friendly. Im no schlub when it comes to computers. I spent two days trying to repair my laptop -- running diagnostics, reinstalling the OS, updating the BIOs and drivers -- but nothing worked. I knew she needed to be cracked open, but I knew that was outside my wheelhouse. So I took her over to Dave and he made her a better machine than the day I brought her home. Hes very happy to explain and expound on the details of his work and charges a very fair price -- frankly, I think he should have charged me more. Im very picky about service providers and I was pretty terrified I was having to hand my baby over to someone else, but I couldnt be happier with the result. Dave is an extremely genuine, ethical guy -- and he gave me some candy and water, too, lol.

Awesome! I brought my computer in to Dave because my screen was blank and it was not loading up. He diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes and had it fixed in one day. Not only was my problem solved but my computer/Laptop ran better than ever before. I have an old work laptop which needs an upgraded OS, some keys are getting stuck and touchpad not working. I went to Best Buy at first and all they can do is upgrade the OS for an arm and a leg. The PC at our workplace burnt out on a hot day, we could smell smoke coming from it. Took it in Friday and it was ready for pickup on Sunday, ready for the next work week. Dave was efficient and replaced every part that had an issue, including the cause of the problem, a fan that was scraping against the case, so it couldnt spin properly to cool the PC.

Came here after another PC repair shop failed to actually fix my problem and overcharged me to just wipe my drive and reinstall windows without warning me first. David actually sat down and talked to me about my computer to learn all he can about it before working on it. He even gussed correctly that it was an electrical problem before looking at it.
