I love Dans comp! They have the best customer service, a great selection and they give you cool stickers most of the time haha! Just bought a dk and a Division from those guys, avoid FedEx if you can they will destroy your package but Dans will back you up and hook you up well beyond your expectations at least thats my experience I hope yinz have the same kind of experience I have had! I’ve been using Dans Comp for my bmx needs since I was a teenager (about 20 years or more) now I’ve got a son getting into bmx and I’m glad Dans Comp is still in business. When I was a teenager it was a paper catalog that came in the mail and I’ve seen brands come and go but dans comp still here to serve the bmx community with great customer service and a staff that knows a thing or two. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff going above and beyond to help you out!

First time customer just getting the family into the BMX world. I purchased two mid level bikes to get into the game. Both were shipped quickly and delivered on time. The first bike went together seamlessly and went great. The second bike was almost complete when I realized the drive sprocket was completely warped and distorted to the point it was smacking the frame. I called Dan’s expecting them to give me the manufacture customer support or to return the whole almost assembled bike. They sent me an upgraded sprocket from their personal inventory and it was on my door the very next day. Great service and response/ownership or an issue that was more of a manufacture mistake.

Super-fast shipping and competitive prices! After my 4th order, its very clear they dont just compete with other BMX shops when it comes to shipping, they got things to my door in Amazon Prime-like times even with standard shipping. My location and the route to Houston, TX might play a factor in my deliveries, but I can vouch that they sent stuff out same-day. Outstanding shipping! These guys have never ever disappointed.. Although I’m writing this review because I think everyone buying parts online should know these guys are honest I believe and are on top of there Business and want repeat customers and get them for a good reason. I ordered a custom front wheel from source and it was a completely different looking hub in the picture from what I received, different colored bolts and spun horrible.. Profile minis are supposed to be some of the best bmx hubs from what I have heard.. The Sunday complete front wheel that came with the bike that I was going to put this custom wheel on spun far far better than the profile.. I was shocked and really really disappointed that I waited 2.5 weeks to receive this.. If I ordered this same thing from Dans I am certain I would have gotten the hub I ordered and it would have arrived in half the time and worked as a profile hub should.. If I am not buying local I’m buying from Dans! These guys are awesome and I have never once been disappointed with any purchases from them. Dans finishes first and Source doesn’t even cross the finish line.

Ordering process is great. Problems start when you have an order issue. Pedal cracks were misaligned due to being defective but they took days to respond and made us send a bunch of photos, only to transfer us to a different company that never responded. Had to pay an additional $250 to even get the bike functional.

I have my gripes with the overall layout of the site, especially compared to the old days where it was very basic and far more navigable. That said, the deals cannot be beaten. Ive had multiple bike shops over the years be very flaky and low-effort with getting the parts I want, so I dont even feel a little bad about choosing to do business with Dans instead.

Ordered handlebars and grips. Order was shipped through USPS and tracking was lacking but it did show up after about a week. The box was ripped open at one end and the grips were missing. I let customer service know, made sure the bars werent damaged, then they sent another pair of grips. At the height of the supply chain meltdown we ordered a bike for my 10 yr old son that had recently gotten into bmx. While we weren’t able to get that model I was so impressed by the transparency and updates I received in addition to exemplary customer service. There were no scripted responses or phony empathetic replies. The reps reached out to specific teams and got back to me with straight answers and options.When some months went by a rep spent close to an hour with me on the phone and then in follow up emails. He asked real questions about my son’s abilities and goals. An alternative model came up while he searched their inventory that worked out perfect. Great company to deal with. The only issue and its not a complaint at all, is that there should be some other / better options for quick shipping to Canada. UPS has become less than reliable in my opinion and seldom meets their SLA commitment as its always the fault of delays outside of their control. When you did into a late shipment, you find its items that were very much in their control.

Its a great feeling when a company takes ownership in their products when they are sent out incorrectly. Recently purchased a bottom bracket and it unfortunately was missing an essential part. Reached out to Dans Comp and Derek in the service department took great care of me. They sent me a new bottom bracket overnight to allow me to have the piece for winter nationals the following day. Well, let me start by saying I used to look at the dans comp ads in the back of bmx plus 25 years ago and beg my parents to buy me some three piece cranks and everything else😄. Now that I have an 8 year old thats into riding I was happy to see this company was still around. I got him a complete bike. It said professional assembly required so I pictured myself lacing rims or something but it was basically completely put together aside from the bars and a wheel. Dan’s Comp customer service is TOP NOTCH. My son had ordered the Skyway Tuff 2 mags which were on back order for 9 MONTHS (no fault of Dan’s Comp). So I was told about dans comp by a friend who talked me into getting into bmx so I got online and went here to look for a bike, there very helpful in guiding you to find the right bike for you and they have separate categories for every part and accessories so if your building your bike you can easily do that. Shipping wasnt bad it was average but thats expected with everybody right now I got my bike in like 3 or 4 days. All in all I highly recommend these guys and Ive already came back a few times with a total of like 3 orders so yeah try them out you wont regret it.

Do not order from them. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I ordered a seat post and a seat and was given the run around for weeks. They told me that the products were backordered (seat was on sale), but it took weeks to finally get a reply back from them as to why the products didnt ship. They told me the products would be in stock soon, And they would ship as soon as they were available. I told them I would wait a week max before asking for a refund. They never shipped so I asked for my money back. They promptly told me they would refund me and that it would take a few days for the refund to post on my account. Lie. I never got a refund and am now fighting with my bank. 9 weeks later and still nothing. They are huge scammers.

We brought in a couple of tires from some very old Schwinn bikes. The staff member that assisted us was extremely helpful and friendly. He took the time to show us how to change the tubes and tires and even gave us some tips on releasing the brakes to remove the tire and in cleaning up the bikes. Took my rear wheel in for a spoke replacement. Got it back 6 days later but noticed the shifting was odd. Turns out Dans had misplaced one of my gears on my cassette.
