Do you believe in serendipity?  We met Dana while casually visiting open houses.  As I imagine many can relate, our family (daughter was about 3 months old) had not fully committed to buying a home.  Yet meeting Dana, who was professional and gracious, gave us confidence that she would be a trustworthy guide through this process.  Over the following year, Dana exceeded all of our expectations.  As many others have shared, Dana is motivated, organized, honest, patient, and highly professional.  YES!  And in a tough COVID-market, Dana shined as being resourceful and creative providing us access to off-market listings, spec-builds, whole house renovations, and even consultations with contractors.  Personally, we never felt there were any other clients than ourselves (even though we knew Dana was leading a robust practice).  Throughout the process, Dana kept us motivated with her enthusiasm and wise counsel (and delightful humor).  She is our biggest advocate and has our best interests at heart.  We are truly thankful for Danas service and friendship.  Thank you Dana.

Dana made the experience of buying a house absolutely great. She came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint. Dana was there 24/7 whenever I had questions or needed to talk about different houses. She handled everything so that I just showed up and everything was ready for me. Dana will not push you to buy anything, she really wants you to have the best house. Dana cares about her clients and works extremely hard to get the best deal. I was a first time home buyer and had no idea the amount of things that went into buying a house. Dana made the process very easy and enjoyable. I would recommend her to all my friends and family. I will have Dana represent me for any future buying/selling of properties. Dana is the absolute best!

We recently had a great experience with working with Dana to buy our first home. She was professional and thoughtful through every part of the process - from the initial meeting all the way through closing the deal and even beyond. She is great at setting realistic expectations but at the same time works hard to get you what you need. She was always there when we needed her and was always available, even going so far as to suggest meeting in person even when we didnt absolutely need to. The thought of buying a home was intimidating to say the least and Dana made us feel comfortable and informed every step of the way!

Dana Gray sold my Carmichael home in the autumn of 2021 during the Covid Pandemic and made sure that I felt safe having only prequalified buyers tour my home. I.decided not to host an open house but was able to sell the house in less than 2 weeks for a cash offer. Dana staged the home prior to putting it on the market. She used my furnishings plus added some finishing touches and saved me the expense of a stager coming in. There was an issue with the title on the property and Dana was able to resolve the problem created 14 years ago when I purchased the place.After the house sold, I put all my worldly possessions in storage and went up to Oregon to stay with a friend to see if I wanted to settle in another state. It was winter and the cold weather and isolation made me realize that I wanted to be back in California. I returned in the Spring and contacted Dana to search for a new home. Every evening, she would send an email with listings. I studied which homes in the listings that interested me then checked them out. If I felt I wanted to tour the place then I would contact Dana and we would meet up in the next day or two and sometimes even that day! The market was hot at that time and she had other clients but made me feel that I was a priority. I caught Covid during this time and when I found a listing in the neighborhood that I was interested in, Dana went and did a video tour so I could view the place. That is the type of personal service that she gives. I put an offer and deposit on two houses before buying my current home. After receiving the home inspection reports decided to withdraw my offers. Dana was able to secure my deposits back. Her knowledge, expertise, personal service, and kindness makes her an excellent realtor as well as a wonderful caring person. I highly recommend Dana without any reservations.

Dana was awesome, to say the least.My husband and I decided to make the move from the Bay Area up to Sacramento and we very much lucked out on finding Dana to help with the process. Dana made herself completely available to our schedules being that we were living 2hrs away and only really free on weekends.Once she heard about the big move to a new city, she took the time to drive us around to give us not only a feel for the different areas, but also gave us a look at the different neighborhoods that fit in to what we were looking for as well. This was something unexpected that she did for us, but it was truly the biggest help and made us feel a lot more comfortable, not only with moving forward with her, but also moving forward in a city we weren’t fully accustomed to quite yet. Dana taking the time to do such was so much more appreciated than my husband and I could ever say.After that first day, she quickly narrowed in on what it was we were looking for and began sending any and all listings that met our criteria our way, quickly leading us to find our new home! She kept everything open and honest, helping navigate our way through the purchase process and ensuring we remained happy and confident in everything that was happening (there’s a lot to purchasing a house!).Overall, Dana is great. Sold a home in 2022 for 400K in Orangevale, CAIt was a pleasure working with Dana. She was always available to answer questions and in keeping us informed on the status of the sale. In addition to listing our home she provided a list of contractors for several services we might need to get the house ready for sale. Debris removal, cleaning, minor repairs, etc. All were reasonable priced and arrived within a day or two. Over all working with Dana was a great experience.

It’s hard to imagine a realtor more hardworking, talented, knowledgeable and responsive than Dana Gray. We worked with her as a buying agent, but I suspect that with any clients she meets, Dana goes above and beyond the duties of a realtor. Not only is Dana familiar with every tiny subcomponent of the long and complex processes of buying and selling houses. She’s also extremely knowledgeable about houses themselves – their plumbing, cooling and heating systems, their decoration styles – everything down equipment manufacturers and even the warranties on individual parts of a house like windows and HVAC units. During the tricky process of contingency inspections, Dana is astoundingly helpful, able to give you feedback on things you didn’t even know were important ahead of time. Following our own contingency inspections with Dana, my wife and I felt like we knew exactly what we were purchasing, down to nuts, bolts, and wiring – Dana is just that communicative, meticulous, and thorough.She worked especially well for us because although she’s an extremely hard worker who shows up at the drop of the hat, she’s pretty laid back, too. She’s not going to try and get you to buy anything you don’t want, and she’s very straightforward when there are problems or defects with a property that make it an objectively poor deal for whatever reason. Ultimately, within a meeting or two with Dana, she honestly just began to feel like a friend, rather than some stranger we had to second guess and negotiate with, and that was wonderful. Though my wife and I don’t plan on buying or selling many houses, when we do, Dana will definitely be involved. I personally don’t have a whole lot of patience for bluster and hot air, and so Dana’s high degree of intelligence, directness, efficiency, and simultaneous kindness was just a great fit for our needs.In addition to all the abovementioned positive qualities, she’s been in business long enough to have a terrific network of people she works with – not only typical real estate transaction people like brokers, title agents, and that kind of thing, but also inspectors, subject matter experts and all sorts of contractors for everything you could think of. So if you don’t happen to have lived in the area for thirty years and you want the advice of someone who has, she’s totally good on that stuff, too – she can tell you who to call for any maintenance work or remodeling projects that you need. She helped us buy our dream house by the river in Sacramento, and from end to end, working with her was a fantastic part of starting a new phase in our lives. Thanks Dana!
