My laptop wouldn’t boot up so I took it to DA Computers. I chose DA because of good reviews and I know they’ve been there for many years. Diagnosis showed the internal fan had failed and the motherboard and other stuff inside were “cooked.” I’m not an expert with this stuff and Dan clearly explained all my options, including pricing. I chose a new computer and I appreciate that Dan spent as much time as I needed to fully understand the process of the data transfer. He also helped with some software issues I had on the old laptop. This education was way, way, above what I would expect from a “big box” store, and I left with my new laptop ready to use. The pricing was fair and the service was excellent. I’m fully confident that if I have any further issues, hardware or software, that I’ll be taken care of in the same professional, friendly manner. I highly recommend DA Computers.

I have the privilege of using DA Computers for a long time. The Service is always 100%- the personality of the personnel is beyond that 100%. Thus when you get your needs met, one shouldnt complain about the cost (it always more than I anticipated) Its difficult for this 80 year old woman to accept todays rising costs while living on Social Security. I would Never think of trusting my best friend (Dell Laptop) to any other Computer Company and Ive tried them all in my area! Hugs and Happy Computing!

Feeling super thankful for DA Computers! When I spilled water on my laptop, DA Computers was there to help. Once I told them that I was leaving Palm Springs in the next 3 days, they jumped right in diagnosing the issue and worked around the clock to have it fixed before I left. They fully communicated to me the cause of my computer’s issues and how they fixed it, and gave me a reasonable price for it all. Thank you DA Computers for getting my laptop back to me just in the nick of time!

Unfortunately had a really bad experience here. They have a sign saying that there is 5 day diagnostics and i called on the 6th day and he said they hadn’t started or it wasn’t ready and said he’d call later, he then called when his store closed at 7pm to let me know what was wrong and they said 3 things that i can do myself which is change out 3 parts parts and they wanted to charge around 100 per part installed because they wanted $300 and worst part is they said my cpu cooler was bad i had tried 2 already and this one was new out the box when i brought it in. I wanted to do local place but they really failed. They dont tell you the diagnostic can be more than 5 days and they dont tell you that they will have to charge more after the diagnostic until its to late.

I brought my laptop in because it appeared to crash when I did a live update from Norton. i explained this to them and they said it was likely a hard drive issue and that they would need $65.00 to diagnose it. A week later they got back to me and said it would cost $638.00 to fix the issue and that i could lose a few files and would have to re-install windows.For whatever reason i decided to take the laptop back and bring it home to Canada where i would get a friend of mind to take a look at it.Half an hour later it was fixed and back in my hands.Just sayin.

I was very pleased with the home visit by Isaac to address a printer issue that had been plaguing my printer for months. He found a very easy fix! And he also assisted with a computer problem with my gmail account. Another excellent service through DA Computers which I have used for over 12 years. I went here to sell a Google Chromebook. They said they didn’t accept Google Chrome books because their value isn’t enough he could only give me $25 so instead he gave me advice to sell it on Facebook marketplace for $100. So I took his advice and posted it on Facebook marketplace and sold it for the price. He told me and within a couple of days it sold for the hundred dollars. He seems very trustworthy was polite and was a nice guy. I would definitely take my equipment here to get work done.

Absolutely everything the do is first rate!!!!! Ive had them do all my IT stuff for about 5 years. I once had Geek Squad tell me my laptop was DOA after several attempts to retrieve data. When I call DA an hour after drop off was told they were already backing up all my data. Again Geek Squad told me it was so gone that they would have to send it out with no cost range and no estimated time frame of completion. DA Computer rocks.

Jon was fantastic. He transferred the data from my Zune device when I had almost given up hope. Everything is now available on a flashdrive and on my Mac. He was helpful in getting me the right cords and attachments for using my TV to view things on my computer. I highly recommend D. A Computers.

The go to! Stopped in because my batteries leaked battery acid inside my gold tester and the circuit board was not working properly. They cleaned, diagnosed, and fixed the circuit board. They did mention before that there might be a chance of the board will not work if the damage was beyond repair. Really good communication from Daniel. I highly recommend. My tester is now working properly!

My second visit here and I should have listened to myself the first time. Nice, informative, service with a smile, but these guys got their hands in your pocket the whole time. Overpriced. Paid for diagnosis $35.00 (no problem/reasonable) even before the diagnosis was over, the owner was trying to upsell me on a new solid state drive without the diagnosis being done that my hard drive was probably the problem, which it wasnt after the diagnosis. Talk about putting the cart before the horse. Smooth and shifty with a smile on his face the whole time. I received the quote with the solid state drive and all of the supposed labor of taking my operating system off and downloading all my files from which I found out can be done in about 3 hours out the door everything total over $500. Walked out with my laptop in my hand and took my business somewhere else. New tech ended up with installing new solid state hard drive with the same capacity, Win 10 operating system reloaded with all files taken from the old computer over to the new operating system $300 out the door. Save myself $200 all in. Be careful.

Highly recommend! The service team was friendly and were quick to diagnose the problems we were having with our laptop. They provided options, from most cost effective to full repair, and gave guidance regarding what would be best for our needs. The owner, Daniel, appears to take pride in the quality of the work provided as well as does his best to ensure the customer is able to receive the needed service as quickly as possible. We were told it would take several days for the part to come in and a day for the repair. We dropped the laptop off on Wednesday afternoon and the service was complete less than 48 hours later. Very pleased!

After reading the reviews on yelp I was very worried about going to this business. However one of my good friends really highly recommend this computer repair store. So I decided to take a change a give them a try. My laptop had been running slow for months and I kept getting this weird message that would pop up on my computer asking me to buy this cleaning software. It just wouldnt go away no matter what I did. So I went into DA Computers they run their diagnostics on it. Got back to me the very next day explaining everything that was wrong with it. The thing I liked most about them explaining everything they didnt talk down to me. It turns out I had a virus on my computer thats what was causing everything. So I give them the go ahead with the repair. I got my computer back the on the 3rd day. I came in an they went over the computer with me. They add security programs to my computer and showed me how to use them too. I felt the service was great Im not sure what all the post before mine where about but Im very happy.The things I always look for when doing business with companies. Is do I see myself going to have work done with them again? Do I feel like I being ripped off or do the things they say actually line up with the problem?In DA Computers case yes I will do business with them again. They were very fair in their work and got it done in a timely meaner for me. I would asked that anyone who reads this post would give this company the time of day. Ive taken my laptop to them twice in the last 3 years and have never been so pleased. They only kept it for a day before calling and telling me what was wrong and what I needed. They even offered to stay open late so I could pick up my computer, since I get off work after they close! great customer service. They offered some suggestions on upgrading but didnt pressure. I appreciate that. I always recommend these guys to anyone who has computer issues. The best thing is, when they fix it....ITS FIXED!! I dont have to worry. BEST THING EVER.

I have read all these reviews, the good ones and bad. Its unfortunate that the bad reviewers had such an experience.I myself would give these guys 10 stars if that was an option. I brought my laptop in on Monday and was called Thursday to pick it up. Matthew and Melanie providing the upmost customer customer service I received in a long time (anywhere).When initially bringing in my laptop, I can tell Matthew was totally listening to my concerns and explained to me there process. After a couple days I received a call from Melanie who was very professional and sweet over the phone. She explained to me what was wrong with my computer and asked my permission to proceed with the repairs it needed. A day or two later I get a call from Melanie saying my computer was ready.Let me just end this with a positive note. Matthew was so kind and so was Melanie, that after all this, they gave me a wireless mouse because my old one was no longer working.Now thats what I call service. Great people with excellent service. I highly recommend them!

I needed a custom gaming tower that I could use for gaming and my work as well. A lot of my jobs are online and require a lot of power for me to do my work. Plus I wanted something that I could just have fun on as well and not worry about upgrading for awhile. They went step by step with me on the cost for the parts and were up front about all the labor for the build too. I went to two other shops to have my dream build put together but they failed to measure up to what I wanted. This computer shop was very honest and made me feel very welcome. They were really friend too, I love the fact I was treated like a person you can say it was a very personable experience. I got my machine an Im very happy with the work this company has done for me. I will recommend them to my friends and family.

I left my laptop with Dan Algazi at da computers for an estimate. The short story is that he told me he would confirm his guess that the problem was an easy fix and get back to me the next afternoon or the following morning, he didn’t. Then he got angry because I commented on his service. It appears that most reviews on this page are positive but in my opinion I would not recommend. Btw I gave three stars rather than one because when I went to his shop he was very friendly.

My computer was working perfectly. Has a solid state HDD and external HDD too. But Microsoft automatically updated it. It would not restart. I took it to DA Computer thinking the fix would be simple and inexpensive. I paid $30 for a diagnostic. That should have been sufficient to get it working again.Two days later they said it would cost an additional $480 because they would need to completely reinstall Windows 10.I couldnt get it out of there fast enough!!!!This company should not be in business!!! I initially went their to have a virus removed from a server. Daniel was very professional and did his best to get the virus removed, but he was unable to do it. The next day I brought it back to him and asked that the operating system be reloaded. After expressing the urgency pf the matter, I later discovered that it sat all day without anyone looking at it. The next day, after being very disappointed, i picked up the server from DA Computers. When I set it back up, it wpuldbt even boot to windows. The server began to blue screen. They told me about all of the replacement parts that it needed, but it didnt start blue screening until they had it. When i emailed them asking for a refund, I got no response. Thank you for taking my money and crashing my server.

I just left this business and have to tell you, they put a good face until they get your money. I took in a receiver and computer and told the manager exactly what was wrong with them He charged me the normal diagnose charge and then took the machines in. (Which I had no problem with) Approx a week later he called and told me the receiver was ready to go and the computer would be about $500 to fix. I went down to today to get the receiver and give them the OK to fix the computer, when I got there, I was surprised to see that they had done nothing with the receiver but claimed there was no problem, I was told that I had faulty speakers. I again explained as I had before, that it had to be in the control knob that my speakers were fine, I then asked why he hadnt cleaned the inside of it as we had discussed when I dropped it off. He stated that he blew it out and that was all it needed, that the dirt that was dried in wouldnt hurt anything so he didnt pull it apart and brush it down as he told me he would when I left it. I will tell you that inside of the machine looked exactly the same as when I dropped it off, because I had blown the loose dust out myself before I took it down there. He was well aware that the inside needed to be brushed down when he took it in. And that I wanted that done. The manager again claimed that dirt in the machine would not cause it to overheat and wear the components prematurely. I dont know much about electronic, but I now that is not true. But thats what they say, so NO need to clean your machines or have them cleaned for that matter. I then asked him to hook my speakers up to the machine which he did, and right away same problem. He told me once again I had bad speakers. So I asked him to hook up there own speakers, they did and same problem. This is when he told me that I moving the speaker control knob wrong. Which I proved to him was not right, but excuse after excuse and still getting no where on any of it. I got tired of being messed with so I told him to just give me my equipment back and I was done. He then gave me my equipment and wanted me to sign for the work, which I refused to do because it wasnt done (even though it was already paid for and he knew it) He then told me if I took MY equipment out of the store without signing what he wanted me to sign he would call the cops and have me arrested. I didnt want it to escalate to more problems so I put the equipment back on the counter and asked that the owner call me. Stay tuned I will give you an update, when the owner calls me. I have to say this is the first time I have ever written a bad review for any company, but it is justified. I will also say the young man that worked on the COMPUTER was very nice and knowledgeable guy, he knew exactly how to fix it and it would of been fixed right. The manager however is not honest nor works with integrity

I wanted a simple project done, and the gal who was supposed to simply check me in was working in the front with a customer on his laptop. There was a guy at the desk who could have simply done this, but assigned it to her, who was not doing what she was supposed to be doing. I took my project and left. I mistakenly uploaded a Linux operating system to my Seagate Backup Plus Slim 2TB External Hard Drive Portable HDD. DA Computers were very helpful and examined the drive for possible data retrival. They reported the data could be recovered. I forgot some of the huge data files and older Linux distros saved in the drive. On the day of pickup from DA Computers, the Techs apologized for keeping the drive longer than anticipated due to the extra time it took to recover all data and the many Linux distros on the drive. They recovered everything -- everything. I was very embarrassed by my forgetfulness but became totally convinced DA Computers was the only computer sales and repair shop in the valley to receive all of my business in the future. Need advice, repair, or a new computer. Look no further than DA Computers. A must.

Took my 7+ yr old laptop in for a tuneup and an issue with not wanting to run YouTube vids. They had it fixed, and all plugins updated, software conflicts removed in one hour!A few weeks later I called because a website I watch anime on is full of ads and wanted their advice on which ad-blocker to install. Well, they offered to install it for me and took control of my computer while they downloaded and installed Ad-Blocker. Yeah, they did this for free!
