2023-11-12 01:26:13Pharmacy really dropped the ball today. My wife just had a root canal and need her prescription of antibiotics and painkillers. We waited 1hr and got lunch for the order to be processed. After lunch we checked with the CVS pharmacy and we werent in the system, no orders or anything. We called our dentist asking if they sent the order, the address was correct and everything. So they sent it in again. After 1hr and 20min (yup I kept track of time)we asked them again and still no prescription and her name wasnt in the system. So I called the Dentist again for a 3rd attempt because my wife was starting to feel pain again. It wasnt until I brought my phone with the Dentist on it and said that they should print up our prescription and the man said the same thing. No youre not in our system, I have nothing and the Dentist confirmed their E-mail, number and location confirming that they sent the prescription 3hrs ago. After I said it feels like were getting the run-around another pharmacist comes up and slightly annoyed and angry (understandably so) says theyre right here, their order will be ready in 7 minutes, I thanked her and apologized the the Dentist for CVSs incompetence. I donno if it was just that one employee but the other person knew what we were talking about. We got our stuff and left. Total time spent waiting was 3hrs dealing with some guy who couldnt find us and it took 2 minutes for the other employee to help us. I dont know about all yall, this store is nice for its conveniences but the pharmacy sucks and Im not the only one who complained about it.

2022-11-08 00:42:36I just started going to this CVS because the drive thru is so easy when they aren’t busy. My other CVS doesn’t have a drive thru. They were very good until their system shut down and couldn’t check out anyone. They shut and locked the doors. They said they would reopen in an hour. That was a lie. So I came to this pharmacy/store. No problem whatsoever. I’ve read the reviews. We’ll see what happens.

2021-01-08 18:31:15For a long time, I have liked this pharmacy. I truly did. They tried their best to help and they have been on top of things consistently. That is until recently. New medications requiring prior authorization sit in limbo. Multiple doctors of mine have had the same issue with this location. My insurance even gave me an authorization number. It’s issues that were given to a lady named Joyce. I have issues and I call. She is almost always the lady answering these calls. She will not let you explain anything, assumes you want things you are not asking for, creating immense inflammation in conversation. Every time I call, she alluded to my being a liar. Today? I have supposedly never spoken with her because she’s “been on vacation for a long time”. I guess they have 2 people that sound exactly the same with the same name. Not really sure. I have a prescription for opiate pain relief and I tried to ask why they were trying to fill a post dated prescription. She assumed I wanted it when they received it and refused to hear me say that she should not be running it early because it has a date on it. She insisted she could not fill it early and refused to hear anything I said. She’s also a fan of putting me on hold without making sure I know she’s putting me on one. Today she says she sent prior authorization request to my doctor who did not receive it. Not any time she claimed to send it. Not once. They are doing it because I called and asked what was going on. Before this? It was a whole different doctor in a whole different location with a whole different umbrella of corporate offices. I had to call them directly too. They sent it, so I called insurance, they sent it to this pharmacy, who did not see it and opted to tell me I was lying then too. Also, apparently the insurance authorization for medication is useless according to Joyce here. My whole intention of calling today was to (3rd request) stop automatically refilling medication when I have another at a higher dose. Filling full monthly doses for the same medication at 2 strengths should have automatically been a red flag, but it was not. I had a lovely screaming match with Joyce today because she honestly angered me so much by alluding (strongly) to my being a liar without listening or allowing me to finish a single sentence. I asked her to please just listen to everything I am saying before assuming she knew what I was saying, because every time she was wrong. She condescendingly said “oh, ok.....” and when I said what I wanted again? She responded with “hello? What? Can you repeat that?” Meaning she also refused to hear what I said. Again. Then she threatened to hang up on me because I got louder. Eventually yelling over her what my phone number was because she would not stop interrupting me. All she did was escalate the issue to my seriously being overly angry because she won’t listen and she won’t do anything about anything I’d be surprised if she didn’t do this to others with interactions with her. Looks like it’s time to see about shifting all my medications to Walgreens just up the street with a drive thru option as well. I’m done not being listened to and having someone try really hard to make me more and more angry. Joyce should not be the point of contact for anything customer service related. If she had a bad day once? I would not have been so angry. It’s every single interaction I have had with her is garbage, and she’s also the main one answering the phone.

2020-08-01 16:19:35The pharmacy at this CVS is very disfunctional plus the web site is poor. They contract out the deliveries and figure that, if our address is correct in their computers, the USPS will have the correct address. Wrong! For some reason the Post office has various wrong addresses and my husband is constantly getting notices that his prescriptions are being returned to CVS due to “undeliverable address”. When I went inside to complain, I was told maybe I should go to the post office and straighten it out myself. Wrong! It is their responsibility to do so and do the delivery. Anyone else having this trouble?

2020-05-31 00:05:59Im going to be moving to another pharmacy. This CVS is using their drive through to do covid testing. You can image the lines. The pharmacy says they are not making money. But you can bet that the insurance company that CVS purchased a year ago is making big bucks.

2017-10-04 18:26:19Worst experience ever in the Minute Clinic. After 25 minutes of waiting inside the room and hearing the new nurse complain about the cvs system and how shes a nurse and not an admin and creating an entirely new profile for me. Then she couldnt find the vaccine for me. Then after she got the other nurse to help they couldnt find the right needle to actually give me the drug. What a joke. Drive 25 minutes to get there then wasted 45 minutes and had to drive all the way to Costa Mesa. What a waste of life. Will not be ever going back. Used to be good.
