Things about Lou Cutrone that will help you decide why he needs to be your attorney. The accident was a pretty bad one. I needed surgery and he was just short of holding my hand the entire way. I wasn’t sure who to get as an attorney and after being talked to by an ambulance chaser, Lou and his staff made me feel like a human being and not just some paycheck he was going to get a chunk out of. In other words, they treat you like a human being, and not a case file.During the entire time of the claim, he was available to answer questions, whether it be by phone or email. He did everything in his power to make sure that things would run smoothly, and that I was completely aware of how things were going. I felt like he genuinely cared. Lou is a great guy and a great attorney. The other parties insurance company was trying to settle with me for a ridiculously low amount, in spite of the fact that I was suffering from injuries that were not improving. Lou helped me find a doctor and physical therapy that helped with my injuries. When all was said and done, and the doctors and Lou himself were paid for their services, I still ended up with a larger settlement than the insurance company was offering me. I was going through a personally difficult time and Lou did not pressure me to rush and settle. He was very patient and allowed me all the time I that I needed to settle when I was ready. This was my first time ever needing to hire a lawyer, so I had no clue where to start. I knew I wanted an experienced, confident, knowledgable, unrelenting, witty, reliable, and educated attorney. I am happy to say that Lou was all of the above plus MORE.After a very painful and traumatic experience at my apartment in my first week living in Los Angeles, Lou was there to guide me every step of the way to find justice. All I wanted was to get compensated for my medical expenses, but the insurance company of the apartment complex was giving us the run around and trying to pull a fast one on us by avoiding our demands. How he gained our trust, took our case, believed in us and our story and how he dealt with an unwilling insurance company to bring peace of mind to my family.After a wonderful Christmas meal with many other families at my sons fire station on Christmas Day 2014, there were 5 of us in our car driving home on the 101 freeway headed westbound. A radical out of control driver swerved into a car beside us and that car swerved into our car sending the two of us out of control and spinning down the freeway. Needless to say, getting injured in accident is not a pleasant experience.But what makes it even worse is the aftermath: nursing injuries, dealing with shady low-balling insurance companies and auto body shops. Unfortunately, the way the system works, you pretty much have to lawyer-up. Once you retain an attorney you are pretty much locked in with him (unless you want to pay to get released) so choose carefully. If you are the type who wants to know all the details about your negotiation & settlement, Cutrone may not be the one for you. On the other hand, if you don’t ask a lot of questions and want someone to handle your case quickly, Cutrone might be better option. All said and done, my case was settled in less than 2 months, and I’m glad it’s all over -- in every respect. Cutrone & Associates will waive the “Demand Package Prep” fees ($350) if you write reviews on three websites
