I have never had an apparel embroidered professionally, I found custom kings online. The business was close to my job, so I went on May 23rd to drop of a jacket I had been given from work.I am celebrating my 25 year anniversary at my job this week, I wanted to get my name, my company logo and 25 years embroidered onto the jacket.I dropped the jacket off and at that time the person that was at the counter told me it would be too expensive to embroider the jacket. I told him I didnt ask how much it was. He said it would be $150.He then proceeded to take measurements of where the embroidery would be put onto the jacket. All 3 spots. This took about and hour. He had me pick out the font and the colors for each.He then told me it would take 5 days to complete. He didnt give me an invoice, or receipt that they had the jacket or the placement of the embroidered spots.He said if I have any changes to call and they would call if theres a problem or change.I left the jacket and waited until May 29 and I called, I was forwarded to voicemail every call I made. I wanted to talk to someone. Finally someone picked up the phone. He proceeded to tell me that the placement of the name couldnt be placed, I asked him why have you had my jacket this whole time and nobody called me to tell me there was a hold up or problem ?He told me he could not find my invoice for my number and I told him how his employee had treated me like I was an inconvenience when I came in. He said the guy was new.So the guy on the phone told me the issue so I told him to move it to the other side of the jacket. He wanted me to go over all of the same things I had already taken care of when I came in on the 23rd. I told him I am not doing this over the phone. So he said come in and we will have it done today in 30 to 40 minutes. I asked him why did the guy have my jacket or say it takes 5 days if you can do it in 30 minutes?Silence, and then oh hes new. So I went back to the custom kings at southland after work, we got the colors and the measurements done and he said it should be done in 30 to 45 minutes.So I walked around the mall this durinh this time, then I hadnt gotten a phone call so I went back and thats when they said it wouldnt be done till they had the pattern.So he said come back tomorrow.He called me that evening said the jacket was done so I arranged to get it on my lunch, I asked him what the cost was and he said $75.So today I go to get the jacket and it looks good and I handed A DIFFERENT guy $100 cash and he short changed me by $1.96 because he didnt have any change in the register.I am really super pissed off at this company, they had opportunity after opportunity to make me a priority, dropped the ball, no invoice for me to have, losing the invoice and my number to call me, me having to go to them 3 times so they could get thier job correct. Not calling me while I was waiting in the mall, and not giving me proper change and the final day of the end of our transaction.I work for a corporation, and we often get specialty apparel made for occasions, this custom kings will not see any of our business, and I will see to it that anybody I know doesnt goes to this place.Im sad because the actual embroidery is great, but I am soured on the lack of customer service and efficiency.

Bad customer service. The guy at the front desk started helping me then he got on his cell phone while he was helping me then started helping the person behind me while he was trying to help me. He hardly made any eye contact when I was explaining what I wanted done, then when I go pick up my order a couple days later they didnt even start it when it was suppose to be ready the next day.

Mo was super helpful from start to finish on our custom request for some Christmas shirts. Desigining was super easy - granted we had a basic design - and it was really quick. 4 shirts with design were done within 2 hours. Trusted!
