2024-06-05 20:19:27A crackhead tried breaking into my tailgate and I had to get the lock fixed in order to start moving from apartment to apartment ASAP. Anyways does this look like a 705 dollar fix to my Tailgate locking cylinder (keyhole)? I did opt into getting this fixed because the parts were shattered inside and I don’t have the funds to buy the part at the moment (an additional 200 for the part alone) I thought this job would have been Toyota quality, but it isn’t. I called Edward the services manager to explain that down the line this would break again, because the lock is extremely finicky now (after spending 2 days with the fix), but all he kept saying is I’ll still need to pay for the part and install, but “they’ll keep in mind how much I spent, and apply it to the cost”. I also was suppose to hear back over 2 hours ago, but I’ve been ghosted at this point. I feel the guidance I received for this fix was wrong and the integrity and accountability of Culver City’s Toyota service department’s business practices are questionable. Not to mention my service before has always been great here, but this last visit has left a bad taste in my mouth. I’d advise any future customers to search elsewhere for fixes like this. I don’t make things up and my google reviews tells no lies.

2024-06-07 18:02:40Inquired about a used car . Sales staff choice Obi said it was not available until another week. So .... We waited made an appointment to purchase as he requested, we were pre approved. Appointment email was provided.Took a day off work, drove 3hrs to purchase van to have a text send when we were in the lobby they sold it last night . (But we were told wasnt ready until Fri)Didnt want to give us his managers name but said Ramona was in a meeting. This lacks integrity and shows dishonesty in their staff. . This is why sales people get a bad wrap. Lies, shady character and Toyota doesnt care about the person.

2024-06-24 22:31:34Brought my car in for a service (Samuel helped me) after three hours and a phone call telling me my car was ready, I came back to pick up my car. Samuel said it would be a couple of minutes, so I waited in the lobby. Samuel later tapped on the window near where I was sitting and pointed at his desk. I waited at his desk for 1hr only for him to come back and tell me that my car had been ready and that he had left the receipt for me to pay for on his desk while he was gone. When paying the receipt, he joked around, saying “Good thing, I was only gone for 30 minutes” Nevertheless, my expectations for car dealerships are always very low. car salesman and dealership owners/workers are some of the worst examples of working-class Americans.

2024-05-06 20:39:28I have been experiencing issues with several Toyota service centers over the years. I had never tried the Culver City location. The service rep (Sam) was a pleasure to work with. He kept me informed about what was needed to complete the work my truck needed.My issue came at the end of the experience. My bill was over $4000. Costly I know but I knew my truck needed some major maintenance because I just hit 150K two weeks ago. The problem was being charge an additional 3% for using a credit card. I didnt think that was cool. I dont see a need for me to pay an extra $130 for absolutely nothing.Toyota, with the issues Ive been having with your service centers the last 5 years it may be time for me to see if another manufacturer will appreciate my loyalty.

2024-02-23 20:48:242.5 hour wait time, and when I inquired on the status of the car, my advisor told another advisor to give me the paperwork without explaining it to me. I had to inquire what was an immediate fix need and inquire about qoutes. When I spoke to the Service Manager, he was lolligaging too and never apologized about the service I received. Gave me the quotes and said here you go.No further explanations about the service needed or recommendations.

2024-05-21 23:05:18Edit: I asked for the VIN Verification document to prove the service was rendered. It’s been two days and they missed the deadlines they gave me for producing it. I was told they are having trouble finding it, which is very suspicious.Original: I wish I could give zero stars. If you want competent service, AVOID!Claimed my car was done without actually providing one of the listed services.Then lied about providing said service (VIN verification).Hung up on myself and my partner multiple times when inquiring about services.Held car for 3 days just to not provide service.Kept calling asking how the service was while they were still in possession of my car.When I reached out asking what happened, the rep kept reading my records incorrectly and claimed we were waiting on a part (it was a sticker, which did arrive and that service was completed). In the end, they told me the don’t know what went wrong, were rude, and didn’t show a shred of empathy for their errors.

2024-05-07 21:56:31EDIT: Everything has been taken care of and Ive had an overall pleasant experience with Toyota of Culver City. The folks I dealt with were kind and attentive. I would recommend. It’s just a little tough to get someone to call you back until you finally get to the right person :)I have tried to get assistance after my purchase and have been largely ignored. Please please have someone contact me and I will edit my review.

2024-01-09 09:57:43Typical slimey used car lot. Car was listed $2,000 above kelly blue book, despite being in obvious fair/good cosmetic condition with dings and rust. They lied and said it was a personal vehicle, even though the car fax were pretty obvious this was a company car. From the moment I called, there were 5 different people bickering about whose “sale” it was, even had to wait 20min while they figured it out.Finally agreed on an out the door price with a salesman and their boss, only to have the professional slimester in the back (Angel) put on the “personal connection” show all while adding and additional $1,300 to my bill. He put in charges that no one had mentioned, and made sure all the signature pages of the documents contained no information about price of the car. At the end I just wanted to go home and caved.Every step of the experience was lies and greed. Was lied to constantly and not respected. Felt like I needed a shower after talking to these people. Now I have to drive a car I know I got screwed on.
