Carter was professional and caring to get the job done right. I had two other repair guys here last July to install a new water softener.I had repeated issues with their quality of work. The softener didn’t work correctly even after repeated service. Carter had integrity to do the right work that was needed.

Customer service is lacking terribly. everything was fine until last month, continuous delays in our delivery with no notification of this. contacted the office in regards to this issue, was given a rude response that we were not out of soft water so she did not see the issue. we pay monthly, and half of our bill is just for the exchange of water tanks. we were expecting a delivery Friday, March 1st. we did not get this delivery & no notification of a delay. as you can see, the date of last exchange was Feb 16th. I’m beyond frustrated, no one wants to answer the phone in the office either. I should not have to continue paying our bill if delivery cant even be insured. will never recommend Culligan to anyone

Very Happy with product, pricing and ability for financing. Love the product and soft water is awesome and would recommend to all. Easy to work with and professional. My only slight mention.... Improvement for the installation of pvc. Not straight which looks better than crooked pcv runs. Everyone I have shown also point this out, so does make a difference. Cant see how well something is running, but can see the astethics of everything. Easy fix to install couple more brackets myself and not a big deal. Only a mention to improve slight issue.

We experienced repeatedly bad water columns over two years with brown water that took a half-day to flush out. The technicians claimed this occurred if the columns were exposed to heat during transport. After two columns in a row with the problem (in winter), we notified Culligan and we switched to Rayne. Culligan still charged for the poor columns. While the Culligan staff are nice to deal with it is apparent the company has a serious quality problem. We have had no problems with Rayne.

I am genuinely happy with Foster, who replaced my water pressure regulator yesterday. He is a great technician, friendly and professional. He cut and soldered the pipe to fit the settings of the new regulator and changed its orientation for ease of any future work. He also showed me how to adjust the regulator and monitor water pressure on my own. This morning, Wanda called me for follow-up. She explained the lead-free nature of the regulator in response to my question. I am very happy with the work of Culligan employees.

The delivery person is always polite and efficient when replacing my PTE tank each month. I like the delivery date on the bill as well so I can move my car over to make it easier for the technician. If there ever is a problem, the office usually sends someone out the next day. The Escondido office and technicians are awesome!

We needed our aqua clear filters changed and received a mail notice offering 10% to swap the filters out. Carter was a great service tech, he showed up inside the service window and performed the maintenance within 10 mins. He explain to me the TDS levels he was checking for an answered any addition questions I had during the service. He also check our downstairs unit to ensure all our filter components we up to date on the maintenance cycle. Great service and great product for our soft water system.

Jessie (always pleasant to talk to) dispatched Carter the same day I called to troubleshoot my water dispenser. Carter provided me with options. He addressed my concerns about maintaining the functionality of my other plumbed appliances in replacing the dispenser with a newer model. A few days later my water dispenser was replaced with the latest model.

We had a reverse water softening system installed and could not be happier. The first technician, Carter, was prompt and professional. Due to an issue with the prior homeowners plumbing choice, the water main was damaged on installation causing a leak. As soon as it was discovered, I contacted Culligan and they sent out a new tech within the same day. Gabriel came at the end of his shift and did a fantastic job reaplcing the water main and went above and beyond to ensure it was done at a high level.

My experience has been terrible with Culligan. They installed it incorrectly, had to come back and fix it. Then when I asked about payments over the phone, the woman tells me they dont take payments over the phone. I have to use the website. She links me to the website via email, and Im bombarded where BUY CULLIGAN NOW and I cant find where I actually go to pay for my account. I call over and over, over the course of weeks. Its constantly voice-mail. So I get frustrated and I texted them today. Guess what? I get a reply from a woman telling me I CAN pay over the phone. She links me something while Im at work to some portal to pay online. Then calls me. Shes short tempered and annoyed to even be on the phone with me AFTER I informed him Im literally in the middle of work. Shes still talking and has to get her point across to me. Im going with a different company, this has been a train wreck.

5 star for customer service but I rate 4 star for price. I believe it’s worth it but maybe for not the price that I feel I am getting. It most definitely helps if you live on base but the transfer fee is what gave me a distaste. If I already have service I just don’t feel it reasonable to get charged another installation fee. I am providing loyalty and consistency in continuing your service so why stop my precious service to start my service else where. Especially if I am renting your tanks. Other than that I love the service you provide and how convenient you make it for the customer to do business. Other than the installation fee that a customer has to provide with an established account with the company is just my dislike. I highly recommend this service to others who ever reads this. Don’t let my one dislike detter you from doing your research. Please give them a consideration.

I dont know if I just got someone who was unprofessional on the phone but their customer service is not very nice. Today I called concerned because every month my bill keeps increasing. my first month was $25 then $34 now it is $58. I expressed this concern over the phone but the tone of the lady who answered was very rude to me. I got the issue resolved because there were two deliveries in December so that explains the spike in the bill, but jeez I couldnt get a word in without her spitting something back. This has really put me off as a customer. A friend of mine used to use your service and has warned me about you spiking up your prices every month. Im considering canceling my subscription to your monthly water service.EDIT: Same woman called me back to apologize, explained to me a bit more as to why they told me one thing about billing when I first signed up with them but the raise in prices are saying another. We got it resolved and hopefully billing wont be an issue in the future. Their prices still are a bit much for each bottle but the ease of not having to worry about constantly buying water from the store is worth it.

The service was stellar! I was able to arrange installation of reverse osmosis drinking water and a soft water system before we moved. The afternoon escrow closed and we arrived the service man was there with jugs of drinking water to hold us over until the installation could happen the very next morning. The installation was efficient, the workers were prompt, and the entire experience went smoothly. Everything was finished the first day we were new residents! I was exceedingly impressed and highly recommend Culligan of Escondido.

Be careful with these guys, as they are not all honest folks. Their driver, in a completely unsafe manner, attempted to play chicken with out electric gate and failed, damaging the gate motor in the process of trying to race down the driveway backwards before it closed, rather than simply putting it in an open position. While he and his supervisor admitted this was unsafe, especially with the children and animals that we have in our house (at least 10-20 MPH, blindly in reverse backing down a hill) when the time came to pay for the damage, their story changed and they denied responsibility. Then they said it was our word (I saw the whole thing) against theirs, as that it didnt happen the way we had been discussing the whole time. This after being customers for 7 years. So very sad and Im stuck with a $2,000 bill for repairs..

Culligan soft water is not as harsh on your skin as the water from the faucet without a water softener. We use less soap products. And... no calcium build up in our toilets or on our faucets. When we go away on vacation we cant wait to get home to take a shower in soft water. It makes a real difference and once you have it you will never want to be without it. We have it on both our hot and cold water. We have used Culligan for about 30 years and just love it.
