Thank you Crown Ford, Eric and technician performed an excellent inspecting on our damaged 2023 Ford F350 after hitting a Deer. They ordered the parts right away(All the radiators and A/C condenser needed to be replaced took two day for shipping). Once the parts arrived they had it together in two days. This was a big jobs and two days was exceptionally fast for damage they had to work with. My family and I where back on the road shortly after back to Washington State.Thanks again Crown Ford,

I recently purchased a vehicle from Crown Motors located in Redding CA even though I live in Reno NV. In all of my years and the many vehicles that I have purchased over those years I can honestly say this was the most pleasant buying experience I have ever had! The sales person, Jared Swanson, was professional, personable and very knowledgeable on the product and process. The finance person Britanni Erickson, was the extremely helpful and made the whole process quick and enjoyable? Lastly the delivery person, Mike Martinez, a real joy and knowledgeable about the whole deliver process dealing with the steps that had to be accomplished across state lines. I will definitely look to Crown Motors in the future for any vehicle needs my family has because they are that good!

Took our 2021 Ford ecosport to get the transmission fixed. They replaced it but the new one leaked so they replaced it again. It seemed fine after we picked it up come to find out the it still leaked. Called them up to schedule getting it fixed and was told we would have to pay 200 dollars diagnostic fee upfront. It didnt leak when we originally brought it in. Its such a huge let down because we really liked them now we just feel ashamed.

I ventured out to look at Ford Super Duty trucks after the first of the year. The inventory had been low since the summer and I finally was going to go in to see what options there were. My wife and I went into our local dealership Crown Motors and were met by Mike A., at the front. He welcomed us and heard what we were looking for. He took us to one of the only trucks that was on the lot that had already sold and explained how low the inventory was. He then offered to help us build a truck and see what kind of options we wanted. The custom order truck is the new way to go with the supply shortages. Our salesman Mike guided us thru the process and made good suggestions to help us get our truck fast before a planned summer trip. The environment was relaxed and all our questions and concerns were addressed. Throughout the process Mike kept us up to date and the truck came ahead of schedule. At finance time Diane was fantastic and got us a great rate! The pick up was fast and easy. We were so impressed that my father in law ordered a truck two weeks later! I recommend going into Crown Motors and giving them a chance, they made our big truck dreams come true!

I just wanted to give a shout out to my salesman Nick Drumheller and my finance guy John legg for giving us a great experience. I am a pretty picky person and some might say I’m hard to deal with and both of these gentlemen helped us have a fantastic experience in purchasing my new 2022 Ford Explorer ST…. Never once did I feel pressured by either of them which is awesome because I hate salesman for that reason…I know that it is their job but I can’t stand to feel pressured. Nick and the sales manager Dan Roberts when above and beyond to make sure that I was happy and had the best experience possible when we noticed a couple small dings in the vehicle they instantly got a hold of Andy Edwards of Red-Ding Pro and had him work his magic. I left with a beautiful pristine ( speeding ticket in the making .. lol) I couldn’t be happier! I recently bought a Mustang Mach E, and had to bring it in for a HVBJB failure. This is a known issue with MMEs that Ford can fix. I contacted Crown on a Tuesday and it was fixed by Friday. Their service department was very efficient and kept me informed about my vehicle. According to a MME forum, most dealers are not getting this service done quickly. Crown did for me and I was impressed.

I have purchased five F150 trucks over the past 25+ years as well as other Ford vehicles. I live in Redding, CA where Crown Motors is located I only go there if necessary. I have purchased my trucks and cars from Corning Ford, Red Bluff Ford and Morgan Hill Ford to name a few. I have never purchased a vehicle from Crown Motors nor do I plan to due to so many unpleasant experiences. The service department has been hit and miss over the years. My most recent service went smoothly no complaints. Without the service department Crown Motors would 1 star rating for me.

Went into speak with Rick at the Fast Lane station in Service and he answered every question I had and they were really important questions. The greatest thing was he treated me better than a customer. He treated me more like a friend or family. When I was done Rick said Aaron could help me inside. I asked right off the Bat if I could get my Ford 2021 F-250 4x4 6.7 Diesel King Ranch Tremor edition a tire rotation. He said where is your truck? I responded on the other side of the wall. Went out and got the wife and pulled the truck into the quick lane. The thing is I drive 400 miles to get my stuff done at Crown motors. So, while the Tire rotation is going on I talk to Aaron about having two sets of tires for the truck. We came up with the King Ranch Rims and Tires will be On for 7 months of the year(March-September and the Off road tires will be on 5 months of the year.( October-February) the spare will be the Off road because I pop tires when I am off roading.This took like a half hour to 45 minutes to talk to both Rick and Aaron. The kicker at the end, Aaron asked me if I had Ford Pass and I said yes. He said I had points and I owed nothing on my bill.Thank you Crown Motors.SincerelyTony

I was in and out in a few hours but I ended up with a truck that Im not happy with.... the one I bought was $5000 less expensive than the one I test drove and the sales associate said that the only things missing from the lesser was chrome running boards and sliding rear window. I paid 2300.00 to fix a water pump, a rattle underneath the car and replace a plastic cover for an electrical outlet in the backseat. The rattle was not fixed. Initially, I was very disappointed. Due to some miscommunication (Im sure on my part) I was under the impression that it is what it is, for lack of a better phrase.That disappointment was easily alleviated by Rick (my service guy) personally calling me and assuring me that they will take a look at it again, at my earliest convenience (love that, I dont have to schedule an appointment) and they will get it taken care of.I appreciate the call and willingness to take a look at the rattle again.Thank you, Rick!

Service was excellent. However I am concerned Ford would use an inferior product in their wiring system that rodents are attracted to. Mice chewing through wire caused my vehicle to fail and I had to pay for it. This was entirely the fault of Ford. They should reimburse me and install wiring that mice do not see as a food source.

Dealership B+ Auto Shop D- Not worth the hassle. Any body looking to purchase a vehicle, this place will suit your needs but I recommend passing on the warrenty; when you go in for a repair, you will regret it. I booked at their earliest convenience, 5 weeks, they rescheduled twice. I was given a run around about things specifically stated were covered. I had to talk to speak to 3 different people, not including reception, to get it covered. On top of that, apparently if you have a warrenty and are having an issue they will claim they cant find the issue then charge you for diagnostics on top of it. No returned calls no updates then finally go in week a later and they START working on it. Ive been to plenty of dealer autoshops and never experienced anything like this.

Had a great experience purchasing a new car from Crown Ford. I started my search online and Mike Eastman did a fabulous job finding me exactly what I wanted. He was very patient, I started looking months before I was ready to purchase, he was never pushy, and continued to search until I was ready, and we found just the right car. Once I was ready to move forward with the purchase I walked in and was done with paperwork in under and hour. They had to get my car from the bay area, and in the 24 hours it took them to get it up here, they found extra rebates, and my car payment was actually lower when I cam to pick it up than the original agreed upon amount. That showed me how much they are honestly trying to make sure the customer gets the best price, without me even pushing them too, they on their own lowered the price. Overall my experience was pretty amazing, I never felt pushed or rushed, and the process could not have been easier. I highly recommend Crown Ford.

What can I say, Crown Motors has my business the reason why is simply, honesty. I must admit, I have heard stories where quality of service was questionable. From my personal experience this is a thing of the past. I went to Crown Motors to perform a service on my 2005 Ford Escape, I was greeted professionally along with details regarding the service that was to be performed.At this point my checkbook was open, ready to pay for labor and parts. Albeit, I was surprised when Darryl Forgarty approached me explaining there is no need to perform this service. As much as Darryl would like to take my money, he simply cannot perform a service that is not needed. I was amazed! It is this level of honesty that will keep me coming back as I know that the service I am getting is honest. If you questioning Crown Motors service department and was to ask for my opinion, I would tell you to give them a shot. If you like honesty and integrity then Crown Motors service department has your back. Make you appointment and ask For Darryl. Next on my list a new Ford F-150 and Crown Motors will have the first opportunity to have my business.

Crown Motors has fallen from its once high standard of customer care to now just a money grab. I received an estimate for work on my A/C that I took to another Honda specialty shop and they did it for a third of the cost. Crown also indicated there was a serious oil leak and issues with the cooling system both of which I had checked out by the above shop and the Chico Honda dealer; both said they did not see any issues. In polling folks with the local business community (chamber of commerce, business groups etc) it was made clear that if your car is more than ten years old the service goal is to push you into a new vehicle. Very sad considering the mechanics at Crown used to pride themselves for how long they kept happy customers and cars on the road.

My teen son and I jumped into my 2003 Dodge truck this past Saturday only to hear horrific noises. We immediately headed to the Dodge Service Department on Cypress Avenue. Darryl, the Service Advisor, said their department closed five minutes ago. He referred me to SJ Denham down the street. While backing out of their service area, Darryl heard the noises and said to bring the truck into the garage since Jason, the mechanic, just returned. Darryl had the problems examined by Jason, the mechanic, and said it would take four hours to repair. Shawn, Darryl’s son, drove my son and I to the movies, while Jason worked on replacing the rotors, pads, breaks, hubs and right/left wheel bearings. My bank wouldnt allow the payment to go through, due to an experience I’d had with fraud therefore, Scott, another employee, drove my son and me to my bank. Kyle, the cashier, kindly waited for our return even though Dodge closed an hour an a half prior. All the employees at Dodge Crown Motors went above the call on behalf of my son and me. Asked to have my Ford Mustang looked at because of a check engine light. I was told it would cost $180.00, just for the scan, cause it takes a long time. Well there was no way I could afford that and pay for it to be fixed. So I found someone who did it for free. It took 10 min. And the problem was a simple fix. Well Crown service man had me convinced it would be a $600.00 job. I called them back and told them they are ripping people off with just the scan alone. Most scans any where else are FREE, which is how it should be at Crown. People already pay enough for normal wear and tear and servicing of a vehicle . Why make it worse. Talked to the manager who was pretty nice and said he wanted to make it right. But being treated like I was stupid made me loose trust for this shop, for both of my vehicles. Shame on you Crown, the commercial on TV says we earn your trust. No you dont.

I installed a cruise control system in a truck that didnt have cruise control. Brought it in to get the cruise control turned on in the trucks computer. They charged us $160, said they turned it on. It doesnt work. Im not saying its their fault, it could be my install but they wont even double check that their work was done right unless we spend another $160. Took my F250 there to get a new set of tires and mentioned that the check coolant light had just come on. Service manager checked coolant with a litmus strip for free, which was fine. BUT he failed to tighten the cap on the coolant reservoir. The next day, while we were towing a 38-foot fifth wheel RV across Nevada on US 50 (loneliest highway in the country!), we discovered that coolant was running out of the reservoir due to the loose cap. Fortunately I discovered the problem before it was a catastrophe. I know the service manager meant well, but its scary to think about what could have happened, being stranded in the middle of nowhere. This was some time ago, so I dont remember the name of the service manager.

I leased a F-150 for 2 months putting $8500.00, plus $ the $2K rebate totaling $10,500., which I thought would reduce my payments plus give me some equity when I sold it back to them. Well...when I returned after the 2 months with just under 230 miles on the truck...AND the condition...according to them: immaculate.So after being taken to the office to discuss what they could do for me... I was told I would have to pay an additional $4930.07....in addition to the $10,500.00 I had already paid. Their reasoning: They had a new truck on their lot that was comparable to the one I was returning priced at $24K. The MSRP on the truck I leased was $37K. I wondered where that truck priced at $24K was when I went in to lease a truck from them in July. They said it had just come in.They were really accommodating when I went in as a buyer...but as you can see...not so much when I wanted to return the truck. I had to pay the additional $4930.07 and cut my losses. It doesnt make sense and I am still in disbelief. You think they could have worked with me. Not so.

Worst place in the WORLD to buy a car!!! These crooks will tell you one thing or another to get you into a car and when you finally do they dont follow through. The sales manager made promises to get issues fixed on the car we were looking at before we took delivery. When it was time to pick up the car we noticed they hadnt fixed these issues. My wife complained to the general manager who basically twiddled his thumbs and told us Too bad! We also had a few questions about our warranty and they just kept giving us the runaround.They dont give a rats ass about the customer. All these folks care about is lining up their pockets. Have a 2015 Eco Ram diesel took at the DJ denim and ask them to do the upgrade oil change from 10:30 to 10:40 whos in a tech Bolton. Grow said they said they would do it and did not do it but got oil all over my engine. At crown they went ahead and did it even though the flash isnt available yet because I pull the trailer and they understood I wanted lower oil temperatures I would have gave them a five-star if the technician would have called me an updated me while I was waiting for my truck but he waited till I got there otherwise I would have gave him a five-star but I give him a four-star.

Needs more training speciall over phone and call back when parts are ordered.Steve when talking on phone the rep doesnt give his name, or seem like he is nterested at handling customers on phone. Crown Motors should not be trusted. They found something wrong that cost $500.00. A week later my Nissan would only go 20 miles an hour and they said it needed a new engine.I spent $4000.00 putting a new engine in and it still had the same problem plus now the transmission had problems. Called ahead for a quick lane oil change and was told that they were not backed up and could get in right away. I purchased a warranty with Ford that covers all oil changes for the first 60k miles. Sooooo, when I arrive they finish with another customer then begin to help me, until another customer walks in, then they switch to helping that person. Next, cant find or understand warranty, then it may be an hour to get the oil change done. Meanwhile another customer who arrived long before me is still waiting for her vehicle. Insanity!!! The whole service team needs to take a field trip to Jiffy Lube to learn what quick means. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!! We walked out and had the work done at Jiffy Lube in less time than it took the dealer to fill out paperwork.

I was driving from Portland, OR to Napa, CA on July 4th, when my car broke down outside of Redding. I called around to different stations, and no service was open. When I called Crown, the person helped me out by giving more names of people that might be open. First time that they tried to help above and beyond what they needed to.I ended up getting towed to Redding, and dropped the car off at the Dealership the next day. Because it was the 5th of July, only one tech was on duty. Still, later that day, they called with the quote. Their quote matched exactly with my research on the possible problem. The issue, though, was that they didnt have parts on hand, so they would have to order the part, and possibly get it by Tuesday. I had asked if there was any way to get the part earlier, as I wanted to be back at work by Tuesday. They stated they would call around to other dealerships to see if they had the part they could buy, but it might be a little more.Cut back to Monday, driving back through town, hoping to drop off my rental car and pick up y car. The car was completed, and ready for pick up. The cost was nominally higher, and I more put that on Tax, not really the raise in cost. They treated me fair through out the entire repair process, from first phone call, to pick up. Very happy that I trusted them with my vehicle.

I dont typically care to write reviews on any company. It is a waste of my time, however, I must do my part to help potential customers who need auto repair. The only reason this review states poor-fair is because it is the lowest option available. Fair makes it sound too nice. When I brought in my 2003 Focus to have it checked out for a charging system issue, The professionals at Crown Motors refused to even test the vehicle but insisted that I needed a new altenator. I informed them that I had replaced the altenator about a week prior and I even bought a brand new Ford factory battery FROM THEM the day before. I told them there must be another problem and that I had checked the fuses, relays and everything I could possibly think of to resolve this problem. The guy (I really wish I had his name) basically told me that I had no idea what I was doing and that if I want them to replace my altenator, I need to fork over $950! ...Yeah right! He refused to test it to even find out the real issue. Even if he had tested it and it did come back as a bad altenator-which I highly doubt, there is no way I would pay anybody almost 1k to replace an altenator. Its rediculous! I cant speak for everybody, but I know many people who have had the same experiences with these guys. My advice; if your vehicle is already there, go get it and run like the wind! If youre just looking for a place to have your vehicle serviced, dont ever consider Crown Motors. Do yourself a huge favor and bring it just about anywhere else. It will save time, A ton of $$$ and a headache due to dealing with amature con artists who will do anything to rip anybody off. No matter who you are.

I have been taking my vehicles to Crown Motors for service and have been paying way too much. My wifes Honda Ridgeline needed a new drive belt and they quoted me a price of $1050 just for the belt. It is customary to replace the water pump when replacing the drive belt since the car has to be taken apart quite a bit to get to the drive belt. But the $1050 did not include anything else except the drive belt. I took it down to a privately owned mechanic shop and they replaced both the drive belt and the water pump for $740.A few years ago (in 2011) I paid $164.75 to have my power window switch replaced in my Ford F150. Well my window started acting up again a week or so ago. So I called them yesterday and was given a quote of from $380 to $500 over the phone. So I checked out a couple YouTube videos, then went down to my local Napa Auto Parts Store and bought the switch for $57 out the door. It took me all of five minutes to change it out. What is wrong with these people?
