I want to tell everyone out there, who has had any damage to their property to consider contacting this exceptional Pubic Insurance Adjustor Robert Crown!He is the person to contact when your insurance company is not responding, and you feel helpless and have no idea what to do. He has been is an expert in his field and saved us months of delay with our claim. He was able advise us for how to proceed step by step and is a wealth of information. He knows all there is to know about this subject! We had a car crash into our living room, in San Leandro California on July 27TH 2023. We were on our own and confused as to how to navigate this nightmare. Sadly, insurance companies are glad to take your money. We contacted Crown Adjusting after a large limb broke off our oak tree and demolished our back yard, deck, three fences and two bedrooms. I was connected with Joseph Fernandez in the spring of 2023. We were dealing with flooding that occured on March 23, 2023 from a broken water line in our house. We had to move out of the house and due to delays with insurance and our lendor in releasing funds, we just moved back in on February 1, 2024. It has been a long difficult process and without Josephs patient advice and council I dont know how we could have survived. My 99-year-old father lost our family home (built by himself and his father) in the Lahaina, Maui wildfire in August 2023. If you want a professional that knows his stuff, is a people person, and has a great sense of Humor. Robert Crown is your guy. Our catostrophic flood was a nightmare😱. Robert was our Michael Jackson in Thriller. Hes a smooth operatior. Knew what we needed to do, how to do it, and helped us write replys that were spot on to get the job done. He doesnt miss a beat. I could not imagine going through this 9 plus month process without his sage guidance and wisdom. He knows how to talk with insurance companies to get positive results. He doesnt give up. These guys are angels, heroes, the good guys … whatever you wanna call it! We were getting so screwed over by SafeCo after a water damage claim and most of the adjusters and lawyers that we reached out to wouldn’t even give us a call back. Robert called me back and I can’t remember a time that I felt so validated! He knew some of the tactics that they were using on us even before I explained them to him. He even knew the name of the slimy company that the insurance demanded to send to our house for a comparative bid. In the end, he put me in touch with Joseph. I actually don’t know where to start and telling you how helpful he was, going so much more above, and beyond than I could’ve ever asked of him. There was so much uncertainty about the immediate future of our family and the headache of dealing with insurance. Then there were so many difficult decisions we had to make, especially the tough one: whether to return the house to its original layout or make new changes to it. My entire condo flooded, caused by the upstairs neighbors broken toilet. The water reached every aspect of my home, causing severe water damage. As if this wasn’t enough stress to endure, Mercury Insurance, my insurance company, sent a horrific representative. Adding insult to injury, her estimated water damages were off by 75%, and she would not budge! She wasted time making appointments with me and my contractors only argue and minimize the water damage repairs to my home. Meanwhile, her over-bearing conduct delayed repairs and my things were tossed into a pile left to mold. None of this made any sense when the upstairs neighbors’ insurance would be reimbursing Mercury for all expenses, especially given the upstairs unit owners negligence causing the damage in the first place. BC-Before CrownI had never heard of the Public Adjuster profession before my house in California suffered a major fire in 2019. I was living in New Zealand, but the house had been our family home and was much loved for many years. Initially I assumed that my insurance company would step in to responsibly cover the damages and indeed their adjuster soon visited the house along with his chosen, out of town, contractor to evaluate the damages. My property manager, who was accompanied by a highly regarded local contractor, met the adjuster there and was impressed by his manner and told me that she felt he would provide a quote adequate enough to repair the house, which the contractor and she agreed was probably in the neighborhood of $500,000.AC-After CrownIt took 18 months to settle my claim, which resulted in the insurance company fully covering the $500,000 loss. Throughout this often torturous process, Robert never wavered in his belief that we could get to this justified end. That confidence was so comforting in such difficult circumstances where the insurance company is constantly throwing up obstacles and our success was only achieved by his countering every move with a skilled response. It required a tremendous amount of forward thinking and employing whatever resources were necessary to complete the job. Robert has those skills and seems to have a second sense in fine tuning the temperature of engagement with all involved parties. I was naïve enough to believe the insurance company was my friend. Like many families in the Santa Cruz Mountains, my wife, daughter and I were evacuated as the fire rapidly approached our home. That night, the flames were so close that we were able to photograph them as we were leaving. Robert Crown is incredibly knowledgeable and provides insight to help navigate the perilous waters following a house fire. Sadly, when we were forced out of our home in the middle of the night as our home was on fire what we did not know is what a painful process it can be to deal with the aftermath, which has been worse than the fire. There are no rule books, and insurance companies are not your friend. Eight months into a process which was going nowhere we found Robert. I remember 14 months ago our house burned down and to say it was devastating for me and my family is an understatement. I called Crown Adjusting because I recently had water damage in my home. While the extent of the damage was bad enough to put me in a hotel for a few weeks, after talking to Robert we decided that it wasnt extreme enough to warrant his services.
