I hired John on a simple project - what a huge mistake. If youre doing a simple copy/paste formulatic template website that John probably already has assets for, he can throw that together. Ask for something custom however, and hell gladly take your money but wont deliver. That is what happened to me. A basic framework was promised within a week, yet after a month, it never happened - just excuses. He even had the nerve to hand off the project to an intern, and thats exactly what the work looked like. Also note that he nickle and dimed me the whole time - charging me 75% up front even though he initially said only 50%, telling me Id have to pay extra if he provided his tax info, and that I should pay via Venmo, or as friends and family thru Paypal, or hed charge an extra 3%. I tried to motivate him and make it worth his time by paying 75% up front, paying the extra 3%, and even offering him an additional $300! Yet in the end, he never followed through. After almost an entire month of development, not only did I not have the basic framework he promised at week one, I only had a few screens of content with almost zero functioning navigation. I was forced to part ways with John, as it was clear that at this pace, since John kept saying he didnt have time to work on it, and was struggling with the coding, that the website would take at least another month to finish, which I literally couldnt afford. When I showed the work he had done so far to another developer, he told he it was unusable, and that hed need to start from scratch. So my downpayment was a complete loss. Live and learn I guess. Id use John for a more simple desktop site that he might have already coded to some degree, but not a website that is specialized for mobile first, and not a custom website that has to be coded from scratch.

Ok, I have been putting off getting my webpage up and running for some time now. I stumbled upon an add on yelp, and decided to give them a call and see what they could help me with. I am usually very skeptical when it comes to web designers. So, I scheduled a meeting with John, the Owner, and things were a little shaky at first. I am not the most technical savvy, and was slightly overwhelmed with options. One of the reasons I am giving them a five star is because, John really went the extra distance in explaining everything and making sure we were on the same page before moving forward. He got me a demo page in about a week and I was very impressed at his response time, and his price. I would recommend him to friends and strangers alike.

I am a grad student studying astrophysics who hopes to continue on one day to become a professor. Having a web presence can make or break an academic career at this stage, so I was extremely pleased at how quickly, professionally and beautifully the Create team got my site up and running.I dont have a lot of time to work on my website, so it was really cool how it turned out exactly the way I wanted after just one conversation about the kind of features that I find cool. It has everything I asked for, but then even has some cool things I hadnt thought of, like a CV (resume) that you can read right on the page or download.When I showed it off at my group meeting, people were really in awe at how professional it looked. My advisor is even thinking of having Create design his next site.People are still complimenting me on the design, and since I now have all the code, its really easy for me to make small changes to keep it up-to-date.I cant praise Create enough for my site and for their customer service, and I definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of creating or growing their web presence.

The concept for a new website was pitched to me and I was reluctant to change up my companys online presence until I saw the concept which was amazing. Create was on point with the communication necessary to place media and the time it took from beginning to end was far shorter than any other previous quotes and exceeded expectations. 5 Star.
