I came across Craigs PC Repair after searching for laptop repair near me. After sharing the brand and model of my 6-year old computer, he explained I was doing the right thing to not replace it with a new one, and that I was doing the right thing to refurbish and replace the keyboard.Craig is so genuine and ethical. He isnt out there to take your money. He shared that the task was outside of his expertise, but that his partner in Whittier could complete the job.I contacted his partner and he did an AMZAING job! Its as though I have a new computer without the cost of a new one.If I ever have any other concerns, I will definitely contact Craig. Give him a call if you need some computer work. He will be honest with you. If he cant help -- he has his connections.Craig, thank you for steering me in the right direction.

Sometimes you are just lucky and find good people like Craig. My fathers computer went down recently and he really enjoys being on his computer. It is hard for him to get around and I really did not want him to call the big squad to come look at his computer. We did a little research and found Craigs PC Repair. We were lucky to find Craig and I dropped off my dads computer with him. Craig took the painstaking effort to go through the whole system, clean the computer, and get it back to possible better shape than it was before. He even took the time to have me sit down and he explained in detail what he did. He even offered remote support even after the fact. He was very fair in what he charged. I would highly recommend and will use Craig whenever the need arises.

Craig did an excellent job fixing our PC that was failing to run programs and games. He was quick, yet thorough, and very helpful throughout the entire process. It is difficult these days to find good PC repair service by someone who truly knows the How to, and getting it done within a reasonable time. Craig tackled a tough case with my laptop and fixed it in record time when I needed it now and his price was reasonable to boot. I rarely see such care to detail and concern for what the customer needs, or wants. Craig has taken the time and effort to not only explain the necessary steps, the options, and the reasoning behind what he is doing. PC Repair is a complete mystery to me and it is hard to find a person of integrity and with the knowledge to complete the work and to continue to work with you to ensure you are 100% satisfied. I would give 10 stars if that were possible!

Craig is by far the best PC repair guy I’ve ever worked with.I don’t trust many people to go near my computer, but I was desperate.I called up Craig and he identified the issue immediately. I came in with my gaming desktop, gave him a short laundry list of issues I had, and he was super communicative with every step of the process, making it super easy to leave it worry-free.He’s quick (but not rushed), knowledgeable, and the pricing is super fair and what i’d expect from his quality of work. I have been a customer of Craig for about 3 years now and he has always been able to take care of the various issues I have run across. I have several business and personal high end PCs that he has worked on and he has always diagnosed and repaired what ever was repairable. I was trying to clone my hard drive but was encountering problems beyond what YouTube could help me with. After weeks of trying, I decided I needed professional help. Craig took my pc in when it wouldnt post. It is an expensive rig that I didnt trust myself to tamper with any further so I handed it over to him.It only took a day and a half for him to take apart the pc and put it back together with all my parts working.He took apart the pc, reassembled it, updated bios, and downloaded drivers for my pc.The pricing is fair and about what I expected. In the future, I plan on coming back if I ever need help.It works great so far. Ive only had it for a day.

Craig is the best - I brought him 2 computers completely frozen and I was unable even to do anything on them - left them with Craig and he looked at them and called me with an estimate for repair and complete cleaning which was so little for each computer (I was thinking I had to buy a new one) that I could not believe it and danced my way back to pick them up. I recently bought a high end PC that had a serious start up malfunction. I did not want to have to wait 8+ weeks dealing with getting a refund and having to purchase another computer. I reached out to Craig after finding his website on google midday Friday. He was able to see me the same day and give me a estimate of what he thought could be the possible problems that I was having. He was working on my PC that same day and gave me updates every hour. He was able to resolve my problems by Saturday morning and even gave me a discount. Craig is very knowledgeable and friendly. I remembered a recommendation for Craig on another website when my computer decided to quit on me. It was a sad day indeed. Luckily, Craig was able to rescue all of my files from my dying computer and gave me recommendations on what to look for in a new laptop. If I could give a higher rating, I would. My PC crashed on a Monday and I spent 3 days trying to restore it myself, more than likely making it worse. On Wednesday, I decided to look up a service to not only fix it, but to save my data, which was mainly pictures of my family. After reading several reviews for various repair shops, I came upon Craigs site. It had the best reviews for overall service. When I called and explained my issues, he gave it to me straight with no salesman smoke and mirrors. I dropped it off on a Friday and an hour later he called with the news that my hard drive crashed. He gave me multiple options with their price points. I made a choice and he gave it back to me on a Monday not only running smoother than when I bought it, but was also able to save my data and streamline the overall function of the entire system. I cannot stress the ease of the entire experience. He charges a fair price for reliable work. I highly recommend Craig for any PC service needs.

I called them due to their stellar reviews. However, the gentleman who picked up the phone was disparaging and not at all sympathetic about my issue. He didnt think my laptop was salvageable, which I understand, but I still wanted to pay and have it seen by an expert before calling it a total loss.He did refer me to another repair shop but I chose to go somewhere else instead...and the laptop was revived with no issues. A year later, its still kicking.

Selected Craigs service based on Google reviews. Not disappointed. Craig is working from home and was flexible on his hours. Took my 8 yr old HP laptop in on a Sat afternoon (b4 Superbowl Sunday) for an unresponsive system after I tried to fix items screwed up by Windows 10 auto updates. Ended up with new hard drive (with 3 yr warranty) and new Windows 10 lite system. Did not lose any of my files (even my numerous bookmarks). Reasonable cost, excellent service, no BS.

Recently took my laptop to Craigs PC Repair after discovering him on Yelp and Im so glad I did too! Craig is a genuine guy, hes the type of businessman that we rarely come across anymore. Hes honest and upfront with his services, he doesnt beat around the bush at all! I called him up and told him what my laptop was doing to me. It basically was giving me a black screen every time I turned it on with the words Reboot and select proper boot device. He gave me some possible reasons but never gave me a definite answer to my problem he told me to bring it in so he can take a look at it. So I brought it in immediately and left it with him for a few days. He kept me updated on everything which I think was helpful since I like being kept in the loop. In the end when I came back in he walked me through everything he did to my laptop it runs even smoother than it originally did! I was extremely impressed at the service Craig provided me with. So relieved to have found Craigs PC Repair. Working late one night my laptop died. I did a boot diagnostic and had an error message about the hard drive. Ugh! I had been putting off a full back up and now I could lose all my work files and family pictures! I didnt know what to do. I didnt know where to take my laptop or who to trust. Im so grateful that others had left good reviews for Craig online. I gave him a call and took my laptop in. I had issues with my Laptop, possibly caused by one of those fake Microsoft support teams along with virus and/or ad virus followers from web searches. Not desiring to leave my PC with a big store team to analyze I sought the web for a repair shop. The 1st one that popped up was a 5 Star named Craigs PC Repair. I always give high priority to customer reviews and nearly everyone was a 5 star. Plus, he was very close to where I live so the selection was a no brainer for me. Took my PC to Craig, met, spent some time getting educated and analyzing issues and he was on his way to bringing my PC back to a clean-normal state. He said I would have my PC back within the next 2 days or so. I think he completed a COMPLETE cleanup of PC including basically deletion of all software and reloading and imaging of of all my files along with only the applications I needed. I brought my software on return visit and Craig reloaded all those programs. We tested everything and all was working very well plus PC was considerably faster than when I took it in for analysis and repair. As of today PC s still running fast and functioning very well. Craig is/was also very informative as he explains the various issues that can arise with PCs, how they are repaired/mitigated and what to do to try and avoid/prevent a re-occurance. Craig is a miracle worker! My son took apart a computer trying to change it to a gaming computer and had it laying in pieces around the den. My son then tried to put it together and broke parts trying to rebuild it and again it laid in parts in my den. I brought the parts to Craig and he was able to assess what could be salvaged and what we needed to make a wonderful gaming computer. He was able to locate parts at reasonable prices and put together the super gaming computer within days after the parts arrived. Highly recommended! I am a law student at Chapman University, and my computer is essential for school, work, and communications. Well, today was the second time I visited Craigs PC repairs. The first time was due to my laptop having the Blue Screen of Death and a severe virus that affected many of my operational programs. I thought it was over for my machine. I was in dire straits as I needed my PC for school the same day to complete my assignments. I took it to Craig and he gave me a better than expected estimate in both time and $. Ultimately, he restored my machine to better and faster than new functionality for less than he quoted and the machine was done the same day!!!! Other PC repair organizations were quoting me up to a week to perform the service and exponential price estimates. Craigs level of service is No Joke - He is very courteous, professional, technically savvy, and understands the customers need for their working machines to conduct business in todays information world. Today, I took my PC in for some missing software that supports OEM installed devices... I own a Dell XPS 13, its a year and 3 months old and last week it froze on me. I had just clicked on updates then hit restart and that was it. I tried to fix it but nothing was working. I was really frustrated because I paid a lot of money for this wonderful machine and in an instant it completely shuts down. I found Craig through Yelp, paid him a visit and he ended up spending 3 whole days to fix it. Craig actually got it to work better than when I bought it brand new! They were accurate and it made my experience EXTREMELY POSITIVE AND GRATEFUL.I really needed help because my laptop went to a place of darkness. My attempts at resolving my laptop issues were making me tense, as they always have in the past. I hate having computer issues because just when you think you know what you are doing it changes on you and a nightmare can begin.In the past, whenever I have needed expert computer help with my laptop or my PC, I have left feeling relief that my laptop or PC work again but I am never confident that it wont happen again. One day recently I had that dreaded response on my computer hard drive not found and I knew I was in trouble! Not knowing where to take it, I turned to yelp reviews and found Craigs PC Repair to have glowing 5 star reviews and even better, his store is only a mile from home. I dropped off my PC and Craig kept me in the loop about all possible outcomes and I later learned my drive was shot. He installed a new one for me, plus a LOT of other software and tried to help me, a real computer innocent, get me back to what I was used to working with. My computer was suddenly dead when I tried to turn it on in the morning. I went to Craigs during my lunch hour, basically because the shop was close to my workplace. The owner immediately stopping what he was doing and ran some tests. He quickly told me that it was only a dead battery and then instructed me on how to order a new one.He charged me a very nominal fee and I left happy and very relieved.Other computer repair shops have made me leave my computer for days so they can run diagnostics. Its frustrating when your laptop isnt working properly and even more frustrating when a large well known company and their geeks wont see you at all.I found Craigs PC repair and read the reviews saw that he was close by and gave him a call. Spoke briefly on the phone about the problem and he had me come by and drop off the laptop. He was upfront about the cost and the multiple possible problems with the lap top. Left the laptop with him and he called me back the same day and told me my hard drive was bad. I had a desktop computer that stopped working. I took it to Best Buy. Their technician told me that there was something physically wrong with it and that I should buy I new one. I brought my sons gaming computer to Craigs because we were having problems connecting to the internet. Ive had a new laptop for sometime but was never able to get into it because I had forgotten the password. I found Craigs PC Repair on the internet and gave him a call. My desktop computer has an i7 processor and 32 GB of ram, a very nice computer that I spent a lot of money on. It began getting blue screens. I tried having someone from Avast remote-in and fix it. They spent about 5 hours on it and also trying to use their Grimefighter. Nothing. It blue-screened way more after that. Every time I turned the computer on it would blue-screen. I was very concerned and reluctant to take it anywhere. I knew of no one and was afraid I would get ripped off because I had no idea why it got into the shape it did.I found Craig on Yelp, and he was local. After speaking with Craig in his shop, I left him my computer and hoped for the best. Craig called me at least three times the first day letting me know the tests he had run and what he planned to do next. The next day he called letting me know the progress and how he was trying to pinpoint the problem. And he found it. One of my memory modules was bad. I had run testing on the memory, which told me it was fine. But Craig ran tests on each module and found one that was bad. No more blue screens. He even cleaned my computer like it was brand new inside and out. The price was so reasonable I tipped him because of the hours he had put in on it. I will be using Craig for all my computer needs. My computer runs GREAT now.

Found Craig when my laptop hard drive took a dive. He said he could repair but I had another issue that I didnt even notice. My laptop had a rather large crack starting at the back corner and ran along the bottom case of the computer. My laptop was taking 6-7 minutes to boot up, apps were not responding, and it was freezing on web addresses. I took it to Craig and he recommended a SDD (Solid State Drive). I called Craig this morning regarding an issue with my laptops screen going black after 10 minutes after boot up. Instead of suggesting a diagnostic service which would have cost and not find anything, Craig explained to me that the monitor would probably need to be replaced. I have had my frustrations with computer repairmen. I took my CAD System to Craig with a mountain of issues, I messed with it had it good and broken afraid I was going to lose all my files. Craig told me to just leave it here give him a few days he would see what he could do for me.Now this is a company workstation I couldnt be without it for a few days. When it comes to pc’s my knowledge is limited enough to get by and do the minimum for gaming and everyday activities so when I experienced problems with drivers not being installed properly and WiFi problems Craig was there right away. Response time and turn around time was impeccable fixing the issue within the hour and there to communicate every step. Because of this limited knowledge Craig went above and beyond to set up other settings for better performance and have some great tips. I will most definitely be back with any other issues and would suggest no other place for computer issues.

I found Craig by running a Google search for computer repair near me and saw this site. Since 99% of reviews were positive, I called him for help with my 5 year old HP computer that was running slowly and glitching terribly. I couldnt even get it to read flash drives or SD cards, and pulling up documents was a l-o-n-g affair. Pages kept crashing. He showed me every step he was taking to diagnose my issues, explained problems for me, and told me exactly what he planned to do. He gave me all costs up front, and he never veered from that price (and the prices were quite reasonable). When he found my hard drive running poorly, he called me and told me that if I went to Frys and bought a new hard drive (they were on sale there), he would install it at no extra charge. I love that he is very cost conscious. Because I was worried about attaching everything correctly after the machine was repaired, he had his co-worker follow me home to help me plug the whole thing back in--even finding online software for my printer and reinstalling that for me. After, when I couldnt get sound, I called him and he did an online diagnosis and solved the problem (no extra charge). I couldnt be happier. I will happily recommend him to all my friends.

My laptop lost its capability to connect to the internet after having been intermittent for a week. I run 2 radio stations on my computers 7 days a week 24 hours a day. One day my east coast stations laptop just crashed, stopped working, boom thats it! Even to an x-80s technician (I ran HBO in the Empire State Building for 2 years, not including various college and on air radio stations back east in the 80s) Im telling you even I was impressed! This guys amazing, how he manages to balance his kindness and professionalism and honesty together is truly outstanding. I can see why so many people give him top ratings. I have NEVER seen such consistent ratings on ANY business I have checked on ever. He is genuine, honest and truthful about the repair. I went in for a Macbook Pro 13inch and 15inch upgrade as both my devices were very slow. Im a teacher, currently off work for a couple of weeks from an injury. I have been doing part of my job remotely using my PC. Last Friday it started a configuration loop and would not let me log on. I was in panic mode! I Yelped and called several places, Craigs was the 4th place I called. Hes the only one that told me, over the phone, what the problem was, and offered to fix it for half the price of other shops.
