I highly recommend CPR Cell phone repair service in Escondido as they are extremely trustworthy and the best in the business when it comes to repairing your phone. They also have some great inventory available to you as an option to purchase a new phone. I have had dozens of phones and laptops fixed and repaired by them and that includes my old Samsung phone. Sally and Juan are a wonderful family and they treat their customers like family and provide excellent customer service. 5-STARS on all fronts.

We have several different phones in our family, Motorola, Samsung and iPhone they are older models but have lasted forever because of the expert service we receive here at CPR Cell Phone Repair.We even dropped all our foolish insurance payments. Why pay insurance when any broken screen or glitches can be repaired.There were all these good trade in offers at Christmas time, but of course your phone couldnt be broken. We took the iPhone here and it worked better then ever. So we just decided to keep it!Recently the Motorola got a black screen of death. CPR fixed it like new!Everyone that works here is patient, kind and knowledgeable.CPR Cell phone repair is tucked away off Grand Ave and Center City in the heart of Escondido. Plenty of parking and the repair pricing is fair and very affordable.

I had been to AT&T and the apple store and both said they couldnt help. Apple sent me to a place in Carlsbad (I dont remember the name) they also said they couldnt help. Christian at CPR worked miracles and helped recover the information from an iPhone that was involved in motorcycle accident. 5 stars isnt enough.This review is from 2017.Great guys working here, helpful and they even stopped me from buying a battery because they said it wouldnt help.

I have had an incredible experience just recently where my wife’s iPhone 13 Pro Max screen was busted completely, and they were so kind, understanding, and completed all the work in 1 hour. The quality of the replacement was an 11/10. I have been using this store for well over 10 years. There is no comparison to their knowledge, work ethic and dedication to customer service. They are my GO-TO for all cellphone and tablet needs. So happy with the fast and friendly customer service. Was sent here after filing a claim. I came in 1 hr before closing, i know not a good look. The insurance people made it seem like it would be done in 15 min and no wait time. Lol total lolIm not from escondido so I was gonna back out when I found out it was actually about 30 min for the repair and there were multiple people ahead of me. The employee assured me he would have it before closing!!! What a wonderful man. I decided to Google the nearest soapy Joes and jotted down the directions. Figured an hour is enough time for me to attempt to drive around in a city idk to find a car wash 1 mile down the same road Im on and to find my way back. Boy did I struggle. Just as Im about to cry and Ive got 7 minutes before closing there it is. The shopping center Ive been looking for. Im not gonna lie the parking is small and the parking spaces are beyond small. But thats not the employees fault. Shame on you shopping center. Anyways park in the awful lot and run inside. Worried my phone hasnt even been started on. But then the wonderful man says the most beautiful words ever spoken your phone is ready I would post a photo of my brand spankin new screen but I cant. Just believe me.

We called around to several different repair places after our 9 year old broke the glass on her 7th gen iPad. The difference was noticeable from our first communication with the store. Christian was knowledgeable, straight forward and easy to talk to.Still, we took the iPad to a nearby place to get a quote as we didnt want to drive to Escondido. We ended up high tailing it out of UBREAKIFIX in Carmel Mtn after just 2 minutes talking to that guy. We drove STRAIGHT to CPR Cell Phone and made the right call.Juan and Cristian have a amazing customer service and are highly skilled. The new glass is perfect and we had them add a protective cover to it as well. The price was reasonable and they even tightened some screws inside because the port was jiggling at no extra charge.Though we hope not to need their services in the future, we know it is a distinct possibility. We will be happy to patronize them again. Kudos to a job done RIGHT!

They had my phone almost a month & I finally had to insist on getting it back to trade in for my new phone. They never were able to recover my info off the old phone. Not certain what, if anything, they actually did? However they lied to me about keeping me updated, where my phone was, who was working on it, when they would contact me, & that Verizon would grant an extension for my trade in deadline. So I actually really liked the people that worked here and it seemed like they were doing a good job. I brought my phone in to get the charging port replaced. They said that the motherboard was bad and I needed a new phone. So I bought one from them and they moved all my data, then it turned out that it only worked hooked up to wifi. At&t had not fully unlocked it and refused to do so without getting an account with them. So they refunded my money for the phone and I went to t mobile to buy a new one. About two months later my new phone started to act up. I had to take it in to ubreakifix as that place had a contract with samsung. I brought my old phone in also and had them take a look at the charge port. They fixed it. So it was fixable. I think they just wanted to sell me a new phone for $500. Which didnt work out for them either but I did end up buying a screen protector. Anyway, super disappointed.

I got my phone fixed here before and it was great, but this time not so much. Actually, not at all. I recently cracked my screen and had water damage so got it repaired, they replaced the fee was $200. Okay, no big deal. A day later the top right corner of my screen stopped working, then eventually the whole screen. I noticed little hairline fractures immediately, I called and asked for some sort of refund or discount and they flat out told me no. I had to do some negotiating to get my phone fixed properly and they did NOT honor my warranty. These guys are absolute ripoffs, after paying the initial $200 I paid an additional $70 to fix THEIR mistake. Never coming back. I advise you find another phone repair business to fix your phone.

I recently cracked my MacBook screen to the point that my laptop wouldnt even turn on. I had my cracked phone screen (iphone xs) fixed here about a month ago and have had no issues. There were a couple options for the screen replacement, and I opted for the cheaper of the two and honestly cant tell the difference. Cost was about $120 and the screen was replaced within 2 hours. I am so grateful that I found this place, they replaced my shattered phone screen in a hour and a half for a quarter of the cost that I would have paid to replace it. They were honest and helpful explaining ahead of time how much it would be and how long it would take and then stuck to their estimate! They repaired my cellphone that had a badly cracked screen and other problems. Very good Im people. I took in my desktop to repair also. I needed my messages of the broken phone. After they fixed it I was able to download SMS Backup & Restore to that phone and my new one. I was able to backup both phones and combine those backups. It is a free Android app: I am not sure about Apple phones.

Well first off for me its a huge turn off to go to a business and to see one of their employees with a company shirt and who went into the closed store and came out to be smoking a bong in his car out in front of the store. Not what I would like to see in a professional business. My dealing were good. They had to go through 4 screens on my LG v20 before they found one that worked. When I went to pick up my phone the screen was bad. They took 15 min and replaced it. Come that night the proximity sensor was not working right. Took it back they fixed that and the headphone plug that they broke. Finally after 4 days all is good. They followed through and got my phone working correctly. Two concerns one is it leads me to question how good the parts are if 4 screens were broken and also they charged $50 for 15 min of work to change the screen. And they told me up to 2 hours to fix it. Seems like a lot. Anyways Ill use them again but kind of put off by some of my experience. They customer experience was very dry and made me feel as if it was a bother to have them fix my phone.

We brought our sons computer here to repair a broken charging port. They opened the computer up and completely destroyed it. The keys no longer work the volume no longer works it was horrible. Excellent service a couple weeks ago. The USB-C charger cable wouldnt stay plugged in my phone. I couldnt figure it out on my own, so I brought it in fearing Id have to pay for a new port or even just buy a new phone. Omar looked at it, dug some hard-packed pocket lint out, and refused to take any money for it--not even a tip. He then volunteered to look at a hairline crack in my 2-in-1 laptop screen and took several minutes to look up how much the part might cost, again for free. (I chose not to get that repaired because the crack is hardly noticeable and not worth the money to fix.) He was super friendly and super professional the whole time. When it comes to customer service, he gets it. I would not hesitate to come here again.

The power jack on my 18 month old Moto X pure phone was becoming intermittent and it was becoming hard to charge .I did quite a bit of research and called around many shops in the area looking for a facility that could repair the jack. What I found was that it took a specially trained technician to do the soldering since it involved sensitive electronics.The ones I did find had a decent price but a long turnaround time or a higher price for a short turnaround time. It was important that I had a short repair time since I did not want to be without my phone for long.I found Jl repair by driving by and walked in and asked for a quote. They were about $20 less that I found elsewhere and they provided a one-day turnaround.I got my phone back repaired as promised and its been working great ever since. I will definitely be going back to them if I need any other service for my phone.I know of two locations in North County of San Diego one in Vista and one in Escondido, I used the Escondido facility.

So I am writing this review for my mom. She took her phone here to JI Phone Repair, and it had a cracked screen. they told her it would be done in about an hour or 2, but that they would call me when it was done. 3 hours had passed and still no answer. Finally we went back to pick up her phone hoping it would be done, and when we got there, they told us that supposedly it was more than just a cracked screen. and it was going to be more expensive than what they had originally quoted. I told them we were going to get a second opinion before going forward. we took the phone to another shop called Fix My Phone SD to get it looked at by them. they told us that they found a bunch of problems inside of the phone all of which looked like they were caused by a technician who obviously didnt know what they were doing. and that there were parts that had been replaced with aftermarket parts in the phone. before this phone broke last week it had never been opened before.. it was brand new when she got her phone. and she had never taken it get worked on by anyone. So thank you Fix My Phone SD for showing us the difference between OEM and Aftermarket parts. and after they put all of the original parts back in and replaced the screen with a new one, everything worked as it should. and it only took them about 30 minutes to do the repair once all was explained and whatnot. and they gave my mom an excellent deal on pricing cause they felt bad about what JI did to her. so why it was going to take a total of like 4 hours at JI is beyond me. but I will never go back to JI ever again. incompetent techs and low quality parts now thats a dangerous mixture... STAY AWAY! do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. but I went to Fix My Phone SD and they were great!

I found JI Phone repair, Escondido CA, to fix my son’s IPad Air 2 screen on yelp. I chose them because of the 5 star rating. Did on line questionnaire to get price and appointment. Had a little issue with the confirmation of deposit amount, $30, with “Stripe” however web site was clear and straight forward. Quoted amount on website was $70 Material and $30 Labor. I had checked Apple and same service was $299. Selected appointment time with JI one hour from time I submitted deposit payment. All 1st rate!I then called shop to ask if I could bring it in latter in the day. JI Person explained that he did not see my order/appointment in the system. Then explained that if this was for service on the IPad Air 2, the pricing on the website are incorrect. The actual price is $280. I suggested this “error” in the Website should be corrected. He explained that he is not the person for JI that would correct This issue.I would understand if this was a reasonable increase, however 3x!?!?

My phone was shattered and the screen was coming out & I took it to these guys to fix. Obviously after I was so hyped because it had been broken for so long. After 3 months or so I had never dropped it, until one I was getting on the bus and dropped it. The screen popped out again! I even had a case on. Im not sure if when they fix your phone they replace your battery but if they did they used a cheap ass one or something because my phone dies at like 60% and if I want to use snapchat or something I have to be charging it or itll just turn off and say its dead. It never did this before they fixed it. Worst place ever. Btw I have an I Phone 5s.

On 9/21/2015, I called JI Phone repair to see if they could fix my cracked screen on my iPhone 6. They said yes and their asking price to fix it was $95. I could not pick up on the same day, that was my choice due to prior engagements.I come back today (9/22/2015) at 230pm to pick up my phone, I received bad news. First, they had to use two or three different screens to fit my phone. Next the salesman said they touch id isnt working and the touch screen isnt working. Next, the phone is overheating when in use. Now, I have to wait until 730 for them to take it to the Apple Store in the Escondido Mall to see if it can be fix. I wish Google had negative star rating system, I think they screw up my phone.

JI is by far one of the best customer service exsperance. I am not just talking over the phone or in the store. Start to finish I was blown away by the uniform friendliness and knowledgebase exhibited by the entire staff. The home button on my j7 was broken I called they told me they take a look more than likely it was just two possibilities a broken button or broken chipset. Came to the store was greeted as soon as I made entry was told the same thing in person as I was on the phone. At no time that I feel like an idiots the way they explained things to you and the patients they have with your questions is why theyre getting 5 stars. My repair could break tomorrow and I would not change the rating Im sure they would take care of me. My phone was repaired in 2 hours. Works great extremely afordable.
