Every time I have gone into this store every employee has been extremely rude. I just walk into the store and right away the employees are extremely short, don’t explain anything and constantly talk down to me. I have only gone in to return something or extend my service and I’ve still gotten completely rude employees. It’s unacceptable and I can’t believe nothing has changed after multiple years

This Cox Cable service location in Chula Vista was fast, as I returned the Cox connection equipment, again I felt like extra was done at my return off their cable equipment, extra time at the computer checking if money was owed again with attitude by customer service, after I was informed over the phone it is just a walk in and drop off, well not so.. finally after another 10 minutes off searching for outstanding fees I was cleared with a not so nice smile by customer service employee, Employees in minimal customer service positions need to check themselves and remember their not in power off anything other than to perform their minimal job without attitudes towards customers!!. Advice do not work in customer service positions without having customer service skills or enjoying your job.. 🤔

Great customer service here at this location. Christine Rascon one of the retail sales associate helped me after coming in for my cable being to expensive. She went threw all the deals and promotions that they had that fit in my liking and made it happen. Im satisfied with my bill and still have all the channel i love to watch. She save me some money and save a customer, because honestly I was getting ready to leave Cox. Great customer service Christine, thank you

Seriously don’t waste your time going here. Go to the Cox store in Hillcrest. The employees lie and told me that the only person that can help me is the exact associate that sold me my plan. Which the other store said was completely false. These are some of the laziest employees, why work in customer service if you hate serving customers?

Walked in to the Cox Cable On Highland Ave and a long line was starting. I talked to aMan and said I just need to return a modem. He said fine he would take care of it. I told him the box has our address and last name on it, and also a Piece of paper with the information inside. No I did not get a receipt, because I was in a hurry and he said don’t worry I won’t forget your account will be credit. Well guess what appeared on my bill! I just paid for a modem I don’t have and that was a cheap one to start with from 10 yrs ago!!

Today my father called Cox In national city, highland to pay for our monthly services & your one of your accountants Jolly (it could be spelled differently) responded & happened to be incredibly rude and began to talk to my father about a router we supposedly owed, but WERE NEVER INFORMED OF, then she proceeded to talk to him and sounded agitated for no apparent reason & threatened that their call was being monitored & then she responded to him that she would supposedly send him to collection, when I felt that she could’ve gone about things a different way in a more professional manner. Her customer service was poor.

We recently contacted you because we were having issues with our home internet connection. You sent out a technician and he informed me that our signal strength was so low that it was triggering our modem and that is why we were having to reset the modem daily. He strengthened our signal (the signal that you provide through our cable) and we have not had any issue since. The problem was not due to our equipment but to the fact that you were not providing the service that we were paying for monthly. I just received my monthly bill and there was a charge for $75.00 for that technician to come to our home. My issue is being charged for something that was caused solely by your company not providing the service that I was paying for. I didn’t see any credits to my bill for not receiving high speed internet as I was still charged $72.00 and have been for years. How long has my signal been low and degraded and I was still being charged a premium rate? This is a horrible practice and if I had any other option I would cancel my service with you today! I will make sure that I spread the word on the practices of your company to my friends and family in case they have other options.

Wow! I came to leave a great review for the new manager but Im seeing lots of negative reviews for Bronze. He helped me several months ago and he did try to flirt and rather poorly I might add. I just figured he was trying to sell me more. But I just left and let my husband call in and figure it out, no big deal. But this new manager! Hes something else. He was calm and knowledgeable even when someone was being extremely rude. Im not sure how anyone can justify being this rude to anyone but I know its all too common. This guy deserves praise for his grace under pressure! Keep it up!

Spent well over a year dealing with cox, over a year! Every single day my net drops, or become so intermittent you might as well not do anything. I have called tech support numerous times, replaced all my hardware, they have replaced their hardware, and checked all setting on everything, and my issue has not been fixed. Ive had numerous techs tell me yes there is an issue, we will fix it and it not be fixed. Or my favorite is when a tech comes out and says I dont see a problem at the moment, just call support when the issue arises again. Regretfully they are the only internet company in my town that has the speeds I need, otherwise I would switch in a heartbeat.

But let me tell you folks about cox they only give you good deals when your a new customers. after 2 to 3 years for get it if youd like to stay with them and keep same channels your paying double the bill or have close to no channels for same price Its BS. One other thing I would like to add to my review, cox employees are whole bunch of liars. I turned off my service with them and they said I had three months to pay a $300 bill 2 weeks later debt collectors called me... the day I turned cox services off I was trying to give them $150 they said no you have three months.

This isn’t a knock against the store. It’s the service it provides on Fort Huachuca. I constantly lose service. I have the second best service and I go over my data every month. I upgraded and still lose service. I would have switched a long time ago, but they have the fastest speed around. I will never use Cox in the future once I leave.

Actually make this a big negative ten. Wanted to upgrade to next lnternet service plan. Ended up spending three hours on phone, having to repeatedly call, with several Cox people. The first person ended up turning off my internet and then hanging up on me. And about four people later who all hung up on me, to include one supervisor, three hours on the phone wasted (half my day) and all I ended up with is a service person coming over and keeping the same basic plan. Absolute worse customer service experience ever!

My first experiences (in August 2017) were highly positive. Sales and installation were hassle-free and the internet service worked great.Then I ordered additional service in a second location and that started out okay too.But in October 2017 connectivity became iffy at the second location and I closed that account after Cox didnt fix it. Hold periods are long, a huge waste of energy for me, when I can use a hotspot at my second location.Soon after I closed the second account, the original service, which had been functioning flawlessly, began going iffy--frequently, mid-morning Ill realize Im offline, but after a while service is restored (in 15 min to an hour so so). Often, when I call tech-support, there is a recording stating an outage in the area is being attended to already. On other calls, I was advised to reboot the modem-router whenever--meaning I do that again, because I would have recycled equipment before calling, of course.Maybe there are now frequent unknown, as well as known, outages in this area (always, as far as Ive noticed, happening the same period of the day)--unacceptable IMO (once a month, at most, should be it for outages and rebooting). Unfortunately, no other company offers the speed I need and when the service works, it works great.Then, a tech-support rep attempted to sell me insurance to cover technician visits--because if a technician visits to check out this problem and attempt a fix and finds nothing amiss with Cox equipment or network, Ill be billed $75, he informed me. So, Im getting ready to disconnect this account soon, and make a hotspot suffice here too, if this iffy connectivity continues over the next few weeks.

Horrible service provided. I have the 10Mbps package, which is more than enough for what I use/need... I also have the 1,024 GB data plan. However, that is very laughable because I only ever get 1Mbps (F*^%ing 10% of what I am guaranteed) at any given time. I have had tech come by several times to try and fix it. They do but it always seems to magically get throttled down ^^ a day or so after they leave.Not sure if theyre just trying to save Mbps, try to pressure me to upgrade, or they just provide horrible service. Either way, very disappointing. I will avoid Cox like a plague in the future unless they seriously improve their service.

I normally have had very pleasant experiences every time I go to Cox. I want to say that everyone I have dealt with has been lovely. However, I recently had a young man named Bronze help me and it was a rather strange experience. He was condescending and strange. I felt like because I didnt want to upgrade my service, I wasnt important. He was in a rush to get rid of me because I wasnt giving him any commission, I suppose. I have always felt very welcome and valued here until this experience. If not for this, I would have given 5 stars.

Literally a joke! Internet drops daily and the incompetence of the tech employees is really something to marvel at. Sometimes they like to tell you there is an outage in your area, which is a lie as I know two people on my block which I contact when they say this and I am informed they they are not experiencing any issues... Is the outage concentrated to the area around my house? They contract their house calls to some local group that could care less about the customers and will typically tell you they dont see any issue. The billing team did me a favor by compensating for the days I didnt have internet.... Whoo! Thanks so much for not charging me for the product youre not delivering... I wouldnt even give them 1 star, worst product, customer service, and technical support I have ever seen.

Dealing with several COX employees and loyalty Reps has been so frustrating over the past 2 days after being lied to by a sales REP from COX. I called the Sierra Vista COX store and dealt with Robin. Awesome experience! He truly knows how to deal with customers and will go the extra mile. He is the reason why I am staying with COX and ordering through him. Quality customer service is something I regard highly and he truly does an outstanding job. I would highly recommend you ask for Robin.

I have been to the Cox store many times to pay my bill and I have seen a big tall man named Bronze harassing the women who work with him. Maybe he is trying to flirt I dont know. But every time the ladies look like they are just trying to brush it off no big deal but the are clearly upset. I pray they read this and start to stand up for themselves. Were getting charged for your crappy service. Cox decided to put a data cap and will charge you if you go over.. We went over but received a message that were in a grace period. Sounds great right? Wrong, they removed the bar showing how much we use.. Which means they can charge us whenever they want without warning or question.. Cox used to be a good ISP, but its now full of greedy a**holes who dont care about their consumers...

I have never been in this store but I do use their service and unfortunately my router resets on its own at least once a day. It can barely handle my xbox let alone if I wanted to watch netflix and use skype. Obviously you will RARELY get the actual speed you pay for and by rarely I mean like 3 am Internet may pick up pace.

Updated as of 02/06/2018I have changed my review to 5 stars. This location has been nothing short of amazing helping me get my situation figured out. It’s important to note that they are not a corporate store. Corporate tacked on fees that shouldn’t have been there, refused to credit what needed to be credited and lost a $150 payment. All of which they say “oh well”. This Sierra Vista store went above and beyond to fix it! Corporate may be scum, but the employees here are great!Old review referring to corporate:My internet was shut off on 11/25/17 for past due balances after a credit was not applied to my account. Credit was applied and i paid the remaining past due balance. Fast forward to tonight, i was having major lag issues so i called tech support. Apparently sometime between 11/25 to today (12/6) i incurred more past due balances (how?!) and my internet was being shut off...AGAIN. How did i find out? Not by any notices, oh no, i didn’t receive a disconnect notice. I was told by tech support. Of course, there’s no way for tech support to resolve billing information and the throttle down on my internet to signal impending shut off didn’t occur until AFTER the billing department closed. Of course, my internet is going to shut off at midnight, for charges that just randomly happened over the past week and a half, and i guarantee the billing department is going to use the excuse that our account is “inactive” now due to the shut off so they can’t make arrangements. The even better part? My next bill isn’t even due until 12/07....TOMORROW. Why was my internet shut off without a notice? Where did these random charges come from? Why wasn’t there some other signal BEFORE the billing department closed? WHY can’t any of the online support help me out? They told me it was “out of their scope”, but isn’t that what they’re there for? COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED and DISSATISFIED.

I called because I was charged almost $200 for first time installation fee and the person I talked to was being aggravated when I told her that they installed everything the same day and ask why I should be paying for installation. From being aggravated, she started being rude and talking over me repeating the same thing over and over again like she was talking to a child. Girlfriend, unless you have a way to steal money from Cox, the money is not going to your own pocket and I am pretty sure that you are being paid minimum wage. Theyre only getting one because zero isnt an option. These people are liars! I get free expanded basic with my apartment complex. However, I chose to go a little extra with Cox and get a Contour box and internet. I was given the equipment and told that all I had to do was plug the devices in. But, the outlet that the modem was plugged into was not live. I called Cox and was told that as long as the problem was on their end that I would not be charged a service call. LIARS!! Somehow, the wiring inside the wall of an apt Id only lived in one day, was an install failure on my part!! And these a**holes charged me $130. They are liars, their representatives lie, and they dont stand by what they say. Screw them. If I were anybody looking to get TV and internet services around here, STAY AWAY FROM COX! Go with Dish or Direct TV.

Ive had them for over two years. The speed of Internet that they claim is BS. There is no 24hr service outside of their major hub, and you have to dig around the internet to find that. The connection is constantly going out, and when you actually get a decent connection theyll start sending you letters in the mail telling you that youre going over your allowed data, even though theres not a limitation in your contract. If you are on Fort Huachuca or coming here I hope that by the time you read this, there is a new available service.

I have had Cox over a year. Got stuck in a 2 year contract for service that sucks. Wifi drops in my home just inches from the router. There is always an outage in my area. I work from home and it is critical I have a strong steady wired connection. My router is in the spare room I use as an office but it is upstairs. I called and asked if my protection plan would cover opening a cable outlet downstairs for my internet modem. They said no. I said I need it moved. I cannot go up and down the stairs because I have diabetic neuropathy. During my lunches I go down to eat and be with my family. I can no longer keep doing that and still they want to charge $60 to just screw in a cable. So what am I paying for then? They dont give a rats ass about the customers needs. Medical need should trump your greed for money.

I moved out here 3 months ago and have been living with my cousin while waiting to move into my house and he uses COX and they are by far the most horrible internet provider out here. Even their customer service is horrible! They have had to pull teeth to get a technician out there 3 times already and they wanted to charge them for coming out as well. Being charged bc your crappy service doesnt work??? Really?? Please take my advice people and do not use COX! Cox was installed in the house conected to mine. At the same time my service was disconected, literally within 15minuted of the tech arriving. I asked him about it and he denied having anything to do with it, i called and they said theyed send somonone out tomorrow because we are green on their end. The point is the guy denied because he didnt wanna take the 5 minutes to fix the problemb he cause. Then instead of cox telling the guy to fix it while hes in the same box that my internet runs through they say theyll send somone else out. Just began placing a limit on data per month, and constructed a program that charges users if that data is exceeded.LONG version (skip ahead to end for short):Now I am nowhere near exceeding that data, but this reflects a poor business decision in my opinion. According to their spokesman, they have seen internet usage double every 2 years, and they also anticipate each household having over 50 devices connected to the internet by 2020. Since this places a large load on their bandwidth usage, theyve decided to cause users to reevaluate their usage.Lets take a look at this using a different business. Say textile manufacturing (a good, not a public service). A clothing company finds that customers are buying 5 shirts a month, so many that it is putting strain on their manufacturing department because they can only make enough to support consumers buying 3 every month. This company has two solutions (actually it has more, but this is google review): make more plants to manufacture shirts, or limit the customer to only 3 shirts a month.COX is doing the second option. I understand the differences between internet service provider and textile manufacturer, but the example still stands. This is not wise, and it tempts me to consider other ISPs in my area just so I dont have to worry about data usage.SHORT version:Brian had limited data overseas and it sucks. Brian have limited data on phone and it sucks. Brian had unlimited data at home, and it was calming and refreshing. Now Brian dont. Brian mad. Brian go to CenturyLink now.

Frustrating. COX internet service could barely reach 200 Mbps of the 300 Mbps service Im paying for. Friends have the same complaint. COX service is unreliable and cost more than what i pay for in Hawaii. Once Gigablast becomes available .... expect to get charge an arm and a leg, and half of ur brain.

I have to give COX only one star for following reason: I used their website to order the SILVER bundle, order was accepted by website, I received confirmation (including confirm number) then when I called COX rep they said they CANNOT honor it, its a travesty really that I have to waste so much time with them! I am an existing customer and was logged into my account and followed their links for upgrading existing service, and the bundle is offered there. On a positive note, the techs that work for Cox here in SIerra Vista, and the local support, and the service itself (especially internet service) are excellent. My ONE star is for their poor handling of online orders.

In past (2011-2015) experiences okay. Currently, (2016-2017) experiences have improved greatly. Have variety pack, includes MeTV, Grit, Classic, etc., old 4x3 SD shows 60s, 70s, 80s, and has Science HD channel (any many HD channels), and a 6 tuner DVR. So far, enjoying it. Must reboot DVR (Contour 1st Gen) a few times a month, but not a big deal because it is great quality when working. My personal PROs and CONs are: PRO: they now have TV Mini-Boxes which allow me to put them on 6 other TVs for a few dollars ($3/ea. as of this review) per month, and they carry the basic package 70+ channels, but thats what I want so is Great for me! These are Stand Alone boxes which means they dont work with or need a DVR. They include all kinds of show from 60-50 years ago. Examples: Star Trek, Lost in Space, Twilight Zone, etc., as well as Western Saturdays line up, all the old westerns (Wild Wild West, Bonanza, Rifleman, Rawhide, etc.), and old night time sitcoms. Enough of that, Im reviewing COX, not their Great Channel Line Up! ALL of my TVs now get the shows we Old Folks like myself used to see before Digital Cable! What a freaking relief! :-) The basic package includes the channels I mentioned above, except Sci HD is only on my DVR. CON: although they have great old channels, like MeTV (Over the Air channel 13.2 in Tucson), my other Favorite channel, Heros and Icons (Over the Air Channel 18.3 in Tucson), they dont carry here. Unsure why its not carried in Sierra Vista, AZ. So, for me and my tastes I give a 4 of 5 stars which is the highest Ive EVER given COX. It might have been 5 if they carried Heroes & Icons channel in Sierra Vista, AZ. Looking forward to continued good service and channels and hope I dont become disappointed with COX. I shut it off before, and will again if need be. Also, note, I simultaneously subscribe to TWO carriers, DISH and now COX. I subscribe to and Love DISH with Americas Everything Pack (Service & Equipment is Great!), but they dont carry many standard definition channels (SD) I love like MeTV or H&I. For the moment, COX Service & Equipment has greatly improved AND carries my 1960s, 1970s genre programming at a price that even a retired person can afford to pay, and thats important to us old folks! So, now Ive got Golden Corral and fun TV! Makes me a happy old geezer!!! :-)

Pixilization constantly, outages regularly, blocked video and audio for Fox News channel, constant up charges and the last straw???? You say,??? $100+ cost increase overnight once our promotion ran out with no notice. By the way...we had a bundle with phone, Internet and regular cable. This household will never do business with the two provider (COX AND VERIZOM) monopolies EVEN AGAIN! Hulu, here we come and WiFi tool BY T-MOBILE OR ATT or BOOST. Well Cox is great but they pulled out of our small neighboring town next door to Sierra Vista cuz they said it was not profitable to operate here we are in a town six miles outside of Sierra Vista with a population of several thousand people and we are on a major highway that gets a lot of traffic and there are other retail stores here but you cannot get Cox Cable you cannot get Cox internet and Cox used to service this entire town and they pulled out because it wasnt profitable enough thats why I gave them three stars if you live in Benson or Sierra Vista they will take good care of you theyre a lot better than Directv and a lot more affordable but theyre not theyre not in my town so I gave him three stars you want five stars guys come back to my city where you left us a few years ago you were here and you left
