I only stayed here one night, but it was a great experience. The lady at the front desk was SO kind, helpful, and personable. I was beyond exhausted when I arrived so that was all very appreciated. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well lit. The bed was super comfortable. Everything was in good working order. Great water pressure and a/c also!

I booked a room at the last minute on hotel tonight. the staff here were all very friendly. The gentleman at the front desk on Saturday at 7:30pm was especially helpful The room was large, well-appointed, comfortable, and very clean. The location is good, and the hotel is very quiet inside. Great experience.

BEWARE!! I was completely surprised by the 150.00 pet fee upon check-in and felt blind-sided. When I made the reservation, I checked the pet box, and I checked the senior discount box. I received a confirmation with summary of charges that included Room, Taxes & Fees, Convention/Tourism Fee, and Other Charges of an on-site parking fee of 7 USD daily. No where in that list of charges was the 150.00 pet fee. Upon check-in I find this out - Surprise. How disappointing that fee was not listed in the Other Charges. I could have had the opportunity to make other choices. I was impressed by the front desk staff who were patient and calm and arranged to have the manager contact me. But the manager was unwilling to do anything, which was extremely disappointing.

Seemingly recently renovated, so rooms are nice, new, and clean. What was a little disappointing was noise levels. In our room we could vividly hear anyone walking around upstairs, someones shower turn on in another room, etc. Other than this, it was a good experience. Staff was friendly and as I said the rooms were nice, it was just surprisingly loud

Needed a hotel for the night and chose this one based on brand and rewards. The hotel has plenty of parking and is close to highways. Tried getting checked in and a digital key online but for some reason the app wasnt updating. Staff was friendly and helpful and we got our key quickly. The hotel is clean and either new or newly renovated. Our room was clean and everything was in good shape. The bathroom was very clean and well maintained. Really the only thing was the mini fridge was sitting on the floor and not in the dresser compartment so you could hear it going on and off. If you dont want to pay for breakfast since there is no free breakfast provided there is a Starbucks and bagel shop on the other side of the parking lot. Overall good stay and would use again

The only thing I could say that wasnt an absolute 5 would be the room felt a little dated. Every single staff member that we came in contact with went out of their way to ensure we had any and everything we could possible want. From Maintenance, Housekeeping, Bristo and front desk it was very apparent that the culture within the staff was wonderful.I would like to make special mention of Victoria. As I understand it she is a Manager in the facility. She was professional, friendly, kind and Caring. That was the overall attitude by staff at this Hotel. Great Job Victoria getting all of your team on the same wonderful page!Our Vacation and specifically the stay in Foothill Ranch was wonderful. I came to this hotel when our hot water stopped working and it was such a good experience. The hotel rooms are bright and clean and the breakfast was great. Even more than that the staff really cares. While staging there, my 10 year old daughter got sick and the staff, especially Megan and Richard, helped us tirelessly when we needed a new room. They even brought my daughter up bottles of water. I highly recommend this property as they really care and take care of the clients.

It is 5:55 am and I went to get some coffee and asked Winston at the front desk if there is any coffee and he said no. My husband just passed away and I needed a quiet night to myself away from family. I just live around the corner at Dove Canyon. Winston was rude, almost robotic. He told me he needs to know if I am staying another night as the hotel is nearly booked for the night and I and I tell him I will know by 11:45 am. Winston tells me if the room is sold before then it will be mandatory I leave. I have never been treated like this at any hotel, especially a Bonvoy property. I will be taking this to upper management. If they sell my room by 0900 or anytime as they are close to sold out, a person will be expelled from the property. This was unsettling how this young man treated a 71 year old woman!By the way, the front desk clerk who checked me in was friendly and welcoming. I mentioned I may stay another night and she said to just let them know by noon the next day and if I do checkout and need extra time after noon (checkout time), to just let the front desk know. She was EXEMPLARY in customer service. Winston a smile and kind voice goes a long way, especially when delivering such a message.SIERRA at the front desk was helpful, kind and gives exemplary customer service so because of her I changed this 1 point review to a 5

Very odd. We wanted to surprise a customer of our by paying their bill but the hotel refused. Said we had to come down in person. We offered to provide any/all type of fax or email identification as this is something we commonly due for our customers that have to stay at a hotel due to a plumbing emergency. The manager was determined and unwavering in not allowing us to pay and surprise our customer. Very sad we werent able to do this for them.

Hotel was a great find while we visited San Juan Capistrano. The AAA rate was one of the better ones available on the weekend we had booked for the area. Staff were very friendly as we checked in late after 10pm. My only irk (and it was listed on the website) is they only service the room after the 2nd night. This feels like cost cutting held over from covid. The front desk provided us another set of fresh towels upon on request.

Right next to a noisy highway and our room was so noisy I couldn’t get a decent night’s sleep. Before going to bed, I noticed a spinning wring cycle sound. We called to the front desk asking if we were next to the laundry and were told we weren’t next to the laundry room. But after sleeping for only 3 hours I was awoken to the same bap-bap-bap… sound. Definitely the spin cycle of a machine.Horrible stay. The worst ever at any Marriott hotel I’ve ever experienced!Marriott, this was terrible. I am shocked!

We stayed here with my sons hockey team after their was an issue with their reservation at the Tustin property. We originally had a suite booked in Tustin which was enough room for myself, my daughter, and my father. On short notice we needed to move to this property and Eliza made sure I was taken care of. Not only did she personally handle cancelling my reservation at the Tustin property(after they said their would be a cancellation fee) but on top of it she made sure my family was comfortable and had enough space by comping us an additional room during checkout since there were no suites available. I have not had this level of service at a hotel Ive stayed at for sometime, and I stay in hotels a lot. I was blown away by the way I was treated by Eliza and it reminded me that excellent customer service does still exist and just how good it can make a customer feel. I am a gold member at holiday inn but I now plan to build my status in the bonvoy program by staying at Marriott properties after the way Eliza treated me. On top of this the hotel was clean and beautifully maintained, with comfy beds. I quite enjoyed my stay at this property.

The room and the bathroom were nice. There was nothing to complain about in that regard. The breakfast, however, is a little pricey, but I was impressed with not only the quality of the food but also the presentation. The avocado toast came on a cute wood cutting board with pickled onions and a boiled egg on the side. The worker behind the counter was also very friendly. I only stayed one night but I have no complaints with the service or my room.

Buddy and stayed there for 5 nights. Check in was no problem. People at the counter were super nice and if we needed anything they got it done. Spent lots of time in the hot tub which was pretty good. As long as we respected the noise level they didnt mind how long we were out there. Rooms are clean and hotel is nice - unfortunately I can’t say the same for a front desk staff member who made my experience less than ideal. I had been staying two nights previously and just needed one additional night. I walked in said I’d like to book a room to which the night front desk clerk Informed me that he is not able to make a reservation and I would have to do it online. I thought I was being punked because I’m literally standing at the front desk of the hotel and in a less than pleasant fashion repeated “online, online, yes online”. I asked for anyone else that could me and their name and number and they let me know that that person wouldn’t be here until Monday. Which means they don’t have a manager Saturday and Sunday and conveniently they’re out of all the contact information for this person. This really ruined my experience that was so great for the first two nights that I stayed here. That’s very unfortunate. And both outlets at the bed only work if the light is turned on in this room.

This is a pretty standard courtyard. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were nice and up to date. The food for breakfast was pretty good (not included in room rate) and at night they have some food and adult drinks which is a nice thing for a hotel that isnt super close to any going out spots. The lobby is large but has awkwardly placed furniture, as if they failed to buy enough. The pool when we were there was a bit dirty and hot tub was green so we avoided that. Also one elevator was out for a day or so and I was unfortunate to have a bum ankle on the trip and had to walk a lot further because of the outage. Overall a good place to stay at a good rate.

Friendly, Clean and worth every penny. I was just at a 4 star or should say what used to be a 4 star hotel and let me tell you. This hotel has been by far the better of the two. Not only for the spectacular room but the very spacious parking to not walking outside and being hit up by any of the homeless that has taken up residence at the other hotels. Havent been here yet when the place is fully functioning but I can tell you that when it is I will be back. The pool and hot tub is open but not the gym or the bar. Until I am told they lift the COVID19 ban. But until then. I have to say this is one of the better hotels south of Anaheim.Thank you to all the staff who are on the front lines but are not being recognized as such. If not for you. There wouldnt be an us and we wouldnt have a place to stay in. So thank you to all the hotel staff every where.Dino S.

This is not my typical Marriot experience.I booked two rooms for 2 nights through Expedia; One for my wife and myself and the other one for my mother and my daughter. Expedia will not allow me to book two different rooms type king and 2 queen-bed So I booked two king ones as I do usually and the receptionist usually changes it for free or for a fee. I travel a lot all over the world and we always do upgrades for a bigger room, better room, higher floor, ...etcWe arrived late almost midnight as we were impacted by the travel delay. The receptionist initially did not honor the breakfast that I paid for as he said he does not have it in his system because it is a third-party Expedia. I showed him the reservation and then he added it to my booking unhappily.Then I asked him to give me one king room and one 2 queen. he said there is a price difference and I told him I am willing to pay for it.He said he can not do it and I have to call Expedia at 12 midnight. I told him my mom had a foot injury and everybody is tired after the long travel. He said I am sorry, but it is not my problem and he refused to offer any help. When asked for a manager, he said he can only give me his phone number. I failed to talk to anyone and he was stubborn not to help. I started to get irritated as it was after midnight and I told him I will pay for any price difference.at that time, he threatened to call the police and he threatened to cancel my reservation. I told him please call the police, but he canceled my reservation and claimed to put me on a banned listNo problem, we stayed at the Hilton next door and the following night we stayed in the courtyard in the spectrum.Marriot needs to hire more professional people with skills on how to manage special situations. This youngster clearly lacks these skills, especially I was not asking for anything for FREE. I was willing to pay.

I stayed at this hotel from 02/26-02/28. All in all, the hotel was just OK. Pretty basic hotel, nothing fancy. There are a few specific reasons I rated this low:-The elevator was down for the duration of our stay.-The mini-fridge was EXTREMELY small, as in not even big enough to store our leftovers.-Speaking of leftovers, there was no way to heat up in the room (there was a single microwave in the lobby)-The drains in the sink and shower were clogged and drained extremely slowly.This was supposed to be the best room under the suite, but was sub-par. The room was modern, and I liked the sofa in the room, but there were definitely issues here.

Fantastic overall. Beautiful Pool, Rooms and Staff. I came here after reserving a room at the Fairfield in Aliso Viejo CA that was completely disgusted with upon arriving I was greeted by Lili. Super nice, attentive and helpful. Accommodated me as a courtesy and I was beyond grateful. My colleagues switched to stay here as well arriving a week later. Great area, quiet and clean. Sarah was also a sweetheart and extended my stay after getting stuck due to the hurricane in FL. Would absolutely stay here again when in town. Thank you Lilo and Sarah!

I booked a King Bed for four nights. Mar 27 for Apr 23-27. my plane was late I about about 3 pm on Apr 23 to verify that I had a late check in and was told yes. I also asked if it was a King room and again was told yes. but when I arrived at 9:30 I was given a double Queen room and was told that this is an upgrade. I do not recommend staying in this hotel, as then do not honor your booked reservation. the room is nice. I will be talking to the manager in the morning.. well of course the front desk lied to me. they said she that the manager arrives about 6am. but when I went to talk to them in the morning they told me that the manger is an he and does not arrive until 8am. so I have asked to have the manager to call me. we will see if they lie again.

From the time we walked through the door we were impressed. Jericho, the desk clerk, helped me several times that evening (answering questions, getting me ice, etc.). The room was wonderful. Very comfortable bed and a comfortable room. The pool and hot tub were well taken care of and there were plenty of towels. Free WiFi (you have to sign in through a web browser). We stayed at this hotel from March 29 through April 2nd and had a great experience. We usually stay at the Courtyard by John Wayne, but this one was cheaper. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, no noise at all. Staff was polite and accommodating. There was no more conditioner in the bathroom so we called and there was someone at our door not even 5 minutes later giving us more.We usually go out to Huntington Beach, so my only complaint is that its quite a drive since this hotel is tucked away. But thats nothing. Great area, too. Nice and quiet surrounded by restaurants and shopping areas just a short drive away.There’s a lot of parking (and it’s free!). Our room faced the freeway, but we experienced no noise at all. We had our 9 month old with us, so I was unsure about facing the freeway, but couldn’t hear a thing.

It was clean, but not worth the price. The lobby was quiet at 4:30 pm. I had to locate the front desk person. The elevator felt like the employee elevator, not the one for guests. The room was tidy. The toilet was made for a basketball player and I could hear the couple above. Glad I only stayed one night.

Really nice property, good customer service. Rooms were clean and super comfortable. Bathrooms do NOT have a fan, so they get very muggy. No mirrors anywhere in the room (only bathroom). Balconies are VERY small, but nice to have. Bistro is convenient, but not surprisingly, pricey. There is a small shop in the lobby where you can buy basics (water, wine, snacks, etc). There is a Starbucks, bagel shop, and a GREAT restaurant (Urban Grill) across the parking lot. No newspapers available, so you have to search for one at the grocery store about 1.5 miles away. Very easy to access Toll (133).

Called in advance about the mask mandate, was told masks are required in the lobby and halls of hotel even if you have a medical exemption.Nice room and was clean, besides the brown stain on the towel. Was very visible, disappointed to see they would allow that. I should of took a picture, but someone I was with, took it to the pool by accident. (They didn’t end up using it). Requests were met in a timely manner. Came out in the morning only to see 2 women unmasked hanging out in the lobby. Very disappointed with that. Discriminating against medical conditions but not women drinking coffee, sitting in the lobby. 2 Stars for the room and staff.Pool had way too much chlorine in it, the pool lining was also corroded.

One of my favorite Marriotts to stay at. Wonderful location because its super quiet (!!!) and they have resturants, a nail place, ups store and a massage place in the same center.So if you dont feel like driving, the hotel is surround by a juice/acai place, starbucks, pizza, thai restaurant, seafood and a breakfast place.The hotel also has a mini bar and a mini restaurant inside that makes small type food.Super clean and I love the room with the balcony.**The staff also display exemplary customer service skills.Highly recommend!!

Room is typically clean and comfortable. My problem is with the staff. Check-in was not a smooth process. Then we asked for the sheets for the pull out so our daughter could go to bed. The sheets should have been in the room but they were not. I called down the the front desk. It took an hour for them to bring it. I called multiple times and my husband went to the front desk. All the while my 4 year old is restless and tired and upset. It should not take an hour to bring a sheet up the my room.

Nice sized rooms and very clean and comfortable although the rooms overlooking the freeway have a bit of noise. The bathrooms have built in shampoo / conditioner / body wash dispensers rather than travel size bottles. Not a fan of those dispensers as it feels a bit like a hostel.

I love staying at this hotel Ive stayed here a couple times, I love the decor, its quiet, starbucks inside and across the parking lot, its not on a busy street, free parking the only issue was last weekend checking in we got handed our key card and when we got to the room it was still occupied, the second time we got a different room but the key card didnt work finally they gave us the right key card and a unoccupied room, maybe the guy was new? Other then that no complaints

The Courtyard in Foothill Ranch is located conveniently within range of shopping, restaurants and the coast. This area is quiet and perfect for a family vacation. The hotel has clean rooms, is well equipped with modern amenities (excluding a microwave) and house cleaning is polite and friendly. This is always a good stay for a relatively reasonable price while still being only about a half hour drive from the beach.

This is the worst courtyard ever. They dont have any cars in the parking lot, but no rooms are cleaned, then the people at the front desk are completely incompetent. They could not seem to figure out what rooms had 2 queens and what rooms have kings, the keys didnt even work for the room we had to change to after they gave us a king. We needed 2 queens. Then the lady at the front said that nothing was her problem and that is someone elses job. Sure it may be someone elses job but you are the representative for the hotel at that time, it is your problem. We then stated in a very calm voice that you are the representative it is your problem. She then got all angry and said that she isnt going to be disrespected like that. We were calm the entire time, yet she lost her temper over her problem that she denies. Maybe do yourself a favor and stay at a different hotel as this hotel Im not sure they people working are high school graduates at the front desk. They seem to lack common sense, and they dont have the mindset the customer is right. For the hotel, get better staff (aka) people that have common sense, and can take care of customers.

This place was in a great location for my stay at it is located with easy access to Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Foothill Ranch or even RSM. The staff was nice but I recommend asking when checking in for a room that does not face the freeway. The noise kept me up a few nights but once unpacked I did not want the headache of packing to switch rooms. Its a modern hotel but lacks the coziness of some of the boutique hotels nearby. Overall, I would recommend and stay again.

We arrived there after a six-hour drive. Fishing at the check-in counter ask for my ID and credit card. They then put a deposit and authorization on my credit card and made two keys for the room. As I began to walk away he said did you get one of our Flyers? He hands me a one sheet notice that said this is to inform you that all electricity to the hotel will be out from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. I asked them if they were joking. They were not. I asked why wasnt I informed of that when I made my reservation about 12 hours prior. They said the attempted to call everyone on the previous Thursday unfortunately my reservation was made two days later on a Saturday. I told them that because of that theres no way they could have tried to contact me. I asked if they were prepared to Discount the room. I received the lame response that they were sorry but its against company policy. I think we all know that they load of you know what. So I said to the person at the counter and the manager would come out I want to get this straight. There will be no TV no air conditioner no way to charge my cell phone and no lights so that if you get up in the middle of the night you have to feel your way along the wall. Manager then says I can give you a flashlight. My response was, you are joking correct? Ultimately they had to refund my money and make a reservation with another Marriott Courtyard in Laguna Hills California. In several decades of traveling and booking hotels and never had anything as lame as this ever happen.

One of the nicest, if not the nicest, Courtyard Marriotts Ive been too. Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. They always recognize me (I travel for work here regularly). The lobby has a nice lounge area and things are always clean and well cared for. They also have Starbucks products in the restaurant, which is a big bonus :-). Theres lots of restaurants nearby. Short 10min drive to the Irvine Spectrum mall, and only about 25-30 min from Laguna Beach if you feel adventurous after a long day of work.Highly recommend if its in your price range.

I felt like I was getting noise beamed at the Cuban embassy. The modern furniture looked alright, but boy it had sharp edges. A toddler face plant into a table would definitely end up at the ER. I spent the night here for a night and had a horrendous experience. I had their food (Which was mediocre at best) and a few beers. When it came time to pay the bill I gave them my card; they then told me it was declined, I then had to walk a mile to withdraw cash . When I got back I payed them and asked them to reimburse me the 3.25 atm fee(with proof i used the same card); they refused saying everyone elses card worked . I asked to speak to a manager, Chris was not willing to do a thing; any other manager would of gladly obliged ( I mean its only 3 dollars, but its my time and money)...bottom line is, youre better off spending 10-15 more dollars in Irvine (closer to the airport) than stay at somewhere who has god awful management. Dont take my word for it, experience it yourself.
