We discovered this place upon leaving another restaurant due to lack of parking on a street sweeping day. We drove around and gave this place a try. It’s a humble location but once we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised with the service. The servers were very nice. Coffee was smooth and food was even tastier. We went for the Mexican Breakfast menu and it was a whole lot of food. Servers were friendly. We will go back again.

I have been coming here for years and if a small, local place can survive the pandemic, that should indicate the local community says its good. Always friendly staff, with a grill out front so you can smell and see your food coming out, this cafe can get a little busy at times but it is worth it.

We are tourists from Texas. We wanted local breakfast off the beaten Disney path. It was ABSOLUTELY excellent! Great variety and diner-like atmosphere! Service was very attentive! From the french toast to the homemade hash browns with omelette, delish! Highly recommend to all visitors!

This place is a must if you’re staying in Anaheim or going to Disneyland. The food and service were all above and beyond, 10/10 recommend!We saw some reviews about this place having high wait times, so we called ahead to make sure there was seating available. When we arrived around 10AM, the place wasn’t very busy. Our server, Sophia, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and have a great experience here.I ordered the spinach, mushroom, and cheese omelette and my partner ordered the chorizo and eggs. Immediately we saw that the portions are well worth the price (not that this place is expensive, but you’re definitely not getting tiny portions). My partner loves spicy food and Sophia brought him the habanero sauce. My partner said that his chorizo tasted fresh, like it was bought from a meat market, and that the habanero sauce tasted like it was made in house. We asked about the sauce and Sophia confirmed that it’s made in house and a family recipe. If you like spicy food, definitely ask for the habanero sauce!Besides the food and service, the place seems well kept and clean. The people are friendly and our food was delicious and well worth our money. We’ll definitely be coming back here next time we’re in Anaheim!(pics are of our food half eaten, i only remembered to take a picture after we had started eating lol)

A great family run breakfast spot. We ordered strawberry cream French toast which was amazing a little sweet but amazing. We ordered chiliquilas, chili Verde with eggs which was the best and also recommended their surf burrito. Service was great. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Smaller restaurant with family vibes. Seating indoors and out. Clean restrooms. Jimena was our waitress. Even helped us find stores to go shopping after we finished. Parking was available all around the building. Great place for authentic Mexican food.

Went in with my 3 buddys for breakfast. Our server was super friendly and professional. We ordered breakfasts of different varieties. The coffee was hot and fresh and the food was amazing.Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Fantastic server. Reasonably priced breakfast options for Anaheim not too far away from Disneyland. The portion sizes are quite large for the price and could easily give Denny’s a run for their money. Food was excellent tasting especially for being in the $10-15 price range though anything more expensive than that would be disappointing.

My family and cousin have be coming to Country Cafe for many years. My cousin will drive over 45 minutes just to eat here. Today was not a good experience. It was a really busy morning at the cafe. We were happy they were busy since it is a family restaurant and we want them to stay open. We have been coming here for many, many years since we moved nearby. Probably over 15 years. Today, We enjoyed our food and each others company; we were celebrating my cousins birthday. I was not aware there were people waiting to sit down, my back was towards the door. I turned to say goodbye to one of the servers who I thought was my friend, and he kept repeating I have people waiting, I was about to say Im so sorry, but the server turned away and focused on the other person. We walked outside and that same server made this comment when he went outside to call another customer some people take advantage I was really surprised at his attitude. This server could have told us I have people waiting. We would have understood. This is supposed to be a FAMILY and FRIENDLY restaurant . The people used to be so friendly and welcoming. I dont know what changed. We wont come back because this is not the first time servers have been rude, inpatient and not very friendly. We left a generous tip because we enjoyed the food and service from our waitress. Whatever happened to people talking to people. This experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. This was so hurtful because I thought we were friends and loyal customers.

Eaten here twice now. The food is pretty fresh and the staff is friendly and efficient.Very reasonably priced dishes. I particularly like the egg scrambles.The place only seats 50 to 70 max, small but comfortable and cozy. Plenty of booths and about a dozen counter seats, well maintained and clean.They serve both American and Mexican fare.Its very close to the Disneyland Resort and easy to get in and out of.A great place for an above average breakfast.

There’s a reason this place has such great reviews! Wonderful hidden gem in Anaheim. If you live in the area or are just visiting for Disneyland, this is an excellent spot for Mexican/American breakfasts. My husband had country fried steak and a side of biscuit and gravy, and I had the menudo! I have had a lot of menudo in my life, and this is probably one of the best bowls of menudo I’ve ever had. Perfect balance of hominy and tripe and all the fixins of cilantro, onion, limon, oregano, pepper flakes, and corn tortillas (you get the option for flour or corn too, I bet the flour tortillas are so tasty!) The prices are reasonable, the staff is super charming, and you can just tell there’s a whole lot of love and care that goes into this establishment. Thank you for a delicious breakfast!

This little hidden gem is amazing!!!! My family and I were in town for Disneyland and wanted a breakfast spot before we headed out for the day. I did a Google search and found this little place. Not only was the food absolutely amazing, the service was impeccable. Our waitress was the sweetest, most attentive person and the other staff would stop by to chat. Such a friendly atmosphere and amazing food. Definitely try this place. We will be back!

The food was good and their Pico DE Gallo was sooo yummy and spicy. It came with the burrito I got. The California burger was so good! They definitely do not gyp you on your avocado or bacon.The portions are large and tasty. One thing I want to point out is that it was extremely packed.... Additionally, when I stood in line, someone else came in and got the table inside while I had to sit outside. A bit unfair to let them do that without asking the person that was waiting for 15 minutes. But our server was incredibly friendly and fast so I will not deduct a star.

Found this place by reviews online and it did not disappoint. We were looking for something better (and cheaper) than a chain restaurant while visiting Disneyland. It was 9 minutes away from the resort where we stayed. We had breakfast at around 10am but they were also serving lunch items as well. Food was great, prices reasonable. They do close by 3pm though. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

This place can be intimidating at first because everyone in there seems to know each other well, like locals and the bartender are good friends.When you go in, just find an open seat and try to get a servers attention as they past by. If the place seems rude at first, trust me - just order and enjoy. Its a down to earth place and people are enjoying themselves like a big family gathering. Food and drinks are great!!!

This place is a great spot for breakfast. Its family owned and operated. When I first walked in, it smelled like my grandmas house when shes cooking breakfast.This is a great spot for a old fashioned home cooking breakfast. With Mexican and American specialties. The chorizo burrito is excellent and huge.This place is small and does get busy, especially on Sundays. But service is fast and youll likely have to wait ledd than 30 minutes for a table.

You get a pretty decent amount of food for the price. I got the country fried steak with hashbrowns and eggs for $9.99 (before tax). The steak was an actual steak compared to the patties that a lot of places use. The gravy was super flavorful too. The hashbrowns tasted like they were homemade. The unique aspect of Country Family Cafe is that they offer your typical breakfast foods (pancakes, French toast, and the like) but they also offer Mexican breakfast foods as well (huevos rancheros and other similar items). If youre in the area you should definitely stop in. You wont regret it.

We stopped here a few days ago for breakfast during our vacation to Disney. We spent 4 days in Anaheim, and I have to say this spot was the best food we ate during our entire trip. Between all four of us, we had bacon, sausage, eggs, French toast, and pancakes. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the coffee was amazing. The only small negative thing that happened was when we first arrived there wasn’t a table available and the waitress said it would be a 10 minute wait which was no big deal for us. They don’t have a waiting area so instead of standing in front of the door blocking the exit/entrance we stepped just outside the door (there’s windows all around so we could be seen standing outside the door from inside the restaurant). A few minutes passed and another party arrived and went inside the restaurant. I noticed they went in but didn’t come out to wait and they weren’t standing at the entrance. We came back in and saw that they were seated before us in the table we were waiting for to be cleared. We stood there at the register for another few minutes until another waiter noticed us and seated us. My suggestion would be to take names of parties and seat in the order they arrive like most restaurants do. When you choose to seat another party before one that has already been waiting, it can make a customer feel like they aren’t welcome in your establishment. I don’t know if it was intentional or not but it did have an affect on the experience. When we saw that they seated another party before us, my husband said we should just leave and find somewhere else to eat, but I didn’t want to try to find another place to drive to and possibly have more of a wait. The food was great so that made up for the initial impression. I would definitely come back if ever in the area.

The establishment has the best coffee I have ever tasted, and I dont believe they use foldgers coffee, haha. Eould recommend the menudo it can be with or without homeny. The tortillas were fresh and super soft.I would highly recommend for a day breakfast with your family and loved ones it definitely defines the term comfort food for your soul!

We’ve been going to this place since they opened a few years ago. We’ve always had a good time and excellent service. Things have happened and it’s not the same. We considered friends and whenever in town we stopped by to patron their businesses. Everyone has bad days but the entire staff was in a bad mood literally pushing for people to leave. The coffee was basically water the food was tasteless and the service the worst we’ve ever had at any restaurant.I hope that this change so that others can continue to patron. As for us we don’t think we’ll be going back. My family and circle of friend all knew and patron this place. I hope they treat others better for their sake. Javier was the cook and a wonderful human being always took time to say hello an he would cook to taste. He was there during my recoveries and made my special broths and soft food that I could eat. God bless everyone in this restaurant. Please change your attitude.

Ended our first family Disney trip here and it was so much better than we expected! The staff was very nice, the restaurant was clean and the phone was amazing! Recommend the chiliqullias 10/10. Only downfall is the restaurant is very small, not recommended for large groups unless everyone is broken up to small tables. Only have 4 person booths and a bar.

First time here and I loved this little place!My daughter and I had plans to go to another restaurant but when I saw a line outside the door of that other restaurant I decided to Yelp good pancakes and this place showed up at the top of the list.Its a small place but thats exactly what I like, the server was nice and he had a smile on his face the whole time. I had high expectations based on other reviews. It’s an okay establishment. Heads up if you order the sunny side up it’s crunchy on the bottom and raw on the top. Had to ask them to cook a little more (to be at the standard sunny side up). The Chef came to our table and said that the way they make them there… nothing wrong with that people have different preferences. They did reheat a bit more our eggs (all 3 orders) but they didn’t seem to be to happy about it. The French toast were okay. The stake quality wa okay nothing impressive. The chilaquiles did not have the best flavor. The tortillas were not properly cooked… Oh and for a Mexican restaurant that’s not okay. We were staying at the Wolf Lodge, and decided that the restaurants that they had there were outrageously expensive for what it offered (I understand why it cost what it does there, and I dont necessarily have a problem with that, I was personally looking for a cheaper alternative). We checked out this little diner based on its excellent rating. I got to tell you, the food is absolutely marvelous for the cost! Looking at the menu, I already thought that the prices were absolutely reasonable, but when they brought it out, portion sizes are absolutely huge. Our server was friendly and courteous and the price is fair. Outside sitting has a lot of potential because currently they just have large picnic tables. If you have a party of 2 or 3 be prepared to awkwardly share the table with random people. To me this was super weird and uncomfortable. He had me at habanero salsa? First time here and i forgot to take a picture . Mom in law says great place to come back, honestly though not very many places have habanero salsa, especially a country place. Guevos rancheros were good . Deluxe eggs good too .

Found this place on our way out of Anaheim after a trip to Disneyland. Great food for such a dirty area. I recommend parking where you can see your car at all times

This is an awesome little mom and pop place I swing by here and get biscuits and gravy for my fiance all the time. The prices are super reasonable and the staff is very friendly it has a cozy old school feel to it.

Country fryed steak was too salty...thin and just limp...not crispy and gravy was full of black pepper...pancakes were flat...bland...maybe other dishes are better ...but I wont go back to find out.

If youre ever towards Disneyland stop off at Country Family Place it is the best place to eat reasonably priced and the food is great service is great Ill be back whenever Im in LA
