The property managers have been unresponsive to the poor living conditions at Cotton Wood Apartments, creating a hazardous environment. The apartments are infested with harmful PHILO flies, posing a health risk. I had to contact the health department to address the unsafe conditions. The management teams rudeness and unprofessionalism, both towards residents and maintenance staff, contribute to an overall negative experience. Living here feels like residing in a substandard environment. I strongly advise against recommending Cotton Wood Apartments to anyone.

Two days ago I entered a service request for my dryer. I was drying a blanket when part of it became pinched between the drum and the frame of the dryer, making it unusable. I had a load of whites in the washer that i couldnt dry as a result. The next day I came home from work to find that maintenance had dislodged the pinched blanket so the dryer would work, and they went as far as to get my wet whites out of the washer and tossed them into the dryer...they were freshly dried when I got home! Not only did they fix my dryer but went above and beyond to help us so that there was as little inconvenience as possible. Thank you again Team Cottonwood.

Out of all the apartments we looked at in the area, Cotton Wood apartments had the best customer service. Our leasing agent was amazing! I emailed a lot of questions, and I received thoughtful responses so quickly. All the staff has been wonderfully pleasant.We moved into a renovated unit, and the floors, appliances, countertops, and cabinetry all look great. Our Nest wasnt working, and someone was here the next day to install a temporary one until our ours can be replaced.We have only been here a few days, so I cant really comment too much on living in the area. The community seems pretty quiet so far, and there are a few nice walking/biking trails nearby.

I have been a resident at Cotton Wood for 3 years now and I have been nothing short of impressed. I really enjoy living in this peaceful community. The front office staff are extremely personable and responsive. Theyre always ready and available to answer all of my questions and listen to my concerns. They greatly enhance the experience of living here. The maintenance team quickly processes and takes care of work orders. The amenities are great and properly maintained and organized. I am glad to call Cotton Wood home.

Ive been living here for 5 years and I cannot even begin to say how much Cotton Wood keeps improving.The ladies in the front office are very friendly. We had a previous manager that was ok but the new manager Nicoya goes above and beyond to meet our needs. Our time here has been amazing. The new maintenance supervisors Jose is prompt, attentive, friendly, and even follows up with you after a work order to make sure everything is done to your satisfaction. My family and I have never lived in a place where we are so happy and feel so taken care of.I highly commend Cottonwood apartments because of such quality, wonderful human beings here, it really makes living here a dream. I Highly recommend Cotton Wood.

I visited the Apartment Office for a complaint. Princess Langford empathized with my situation and helped me wholeheartedly. Not only did she explain the issues I had, but she also ensured I left her office with a smile and pieces of advice. She is very honest, helpful, and deeply knowledgeable about her job. She empathizes with tenants and is always asking “How can we help you? I understand how it is with the economy these days.” What more would you want in a sympathetic manager? Princess is the epitome and embodiment of excellent customer service and very dependable in her business. I can say so many good things about this compassionate lady. My experience living at Cotton Wood Apartments has been wonderful. Nicoya and Dayna in the office have always been helpful and responsive to any needs and or requests. Kirby, Edgar and Will on the maintenance team are always quick to respond to requests and take care of any issues. They seem focused on proactive maintenance and I appreciate that perspective. Everyone has always been friendly and I have never felt like just a number. When I broke my ankle, Nicoya even offered to send someone to pick up the rent check and asked if there was anything they could do to help me.

We really enjoyed living her for the most part. The property is beautiful, the front staff are always friendly and the maintenance guys were super nice as well. Also, there’s always plenty of parking. The only negatives would be we had an ant problem which when I called them they were quick to get an exterminator out but it didn’t really resolve the ant issue. Also, the dish washer didn’t wash the dishes very well. Overall I was very sad we had to move but cottonwood is much more expensive than other apartments in the area.

Enjoyed my time here for the most part. I lived alone for a whole year in a one bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor (On the top most floor $1900/m 2019-2020). To be honest it was pretty pricey but the complex itself is pretty nice. You get your own parking space outside and a personal washer and dryer. The noise wasnt too bad but yes, you can hear your neighbors through the walls depending on their noise level. The water and trash bills here is what kinda killed my experience a bit (Around $160 for one person). The staff is really nice. They always helped me whenever I had a problem. From the water heater to wasps appearing in my AC ducts. Overall, I did enjoy my time here but rent in the bay area just sucks in general. Recommend just moving in with multiple people to make rent more affordable together.

My husband and I have lived here since March, and I cannot even begin to say how fabulous our experience has been. The tour was lovely, and the ladies in the front office are very friendly. The lease and move-in process was a breeze, and our time here so far has been amazing. The maintenance staff is prompt, attentive, friendly, and even follow up with you after a work order to make sure everything is done to your satisfaction. We have never lived in a place where we are so happy and feel so taken care of.I highly commend Cottonwood on the hiring of such quality, wonderful human beings here - it really makes living here a dream. My experience with Cottonwood has been absolutely phenomenal! I’m extremely happy and satisfied with my decision to reside here. Nicoya the apartment manager is amazing! Since before becoming a resident until now being an actual resident she has made me feel so welcome and has been such a pleasure to communicate with along with the other staff! The property is very well maintained and so perfect and peaceful! Im very impressed! I enjoy taking strolls around and enjoying the scenery. The only flaw is I wish I would’ve moved here sooner lol. We have been living at Cottonwood Apartments for over a year with no major maintenance concerns. We recently had a issue with our dishwasher going out. I put in a service ticket Sunday evening and by that Thursday the maintenance keeper was at our unit to check it out. The maintenance worker name Kirby was very professional, safe (due to COVID precautions), and speedy. He fixed the problem within 10 minutes. He also checked back in with me shortly after to make sure the dishwasher had completed its full cycle with no other issues. Thanks again Kirby! We appreciate your work and help.

Once I received attention from the maintenance staff everything went well. What bothered me slightly is having to call the office more than once to get the needed attention. I am not a pushy person but across the board I felt I had to push to communicate how important my issue was in order to see results in a timely manner. My outlets weren’t working, my oven wasn’t working, my heater wasn’t working and I work from home. Once Jose arrived he worked quickly to troubleshoot the issue. This took some time as he was telling me that what I perceived to be the issue was not the problem. This was a little frustrating but he continued working until he was clear on what needed to be fixed. I really appreciated his effort. From the time he diagnosed the problem it was only a matter of hours before things were working again. He fixed everything in his control. Now I am just waiting for my heater to be fixed and that is dependent upon a 3rd party.

The community is quite and the accessibility to the neighborhood park and trails have been wonderful. This place is not like what it used to be a year ago. The ownership & management has changed this year and they seem to care less about their residents now. In the last 6 months alone I have visited their office more times than I did in my previous 2 years of stay here. I hope they can get their act together. They are not even as responsive now if you put in a maintenance request. In the last few months, they have entered our unit a few times but they give only 1 day notice for that. Twice we were out of town for a few days and entered in that time. Obviously we had no prior knowledge or notice since they give 1 day notice only. Both times lights were left turned on. We returned in the middle of the night and were worried if the place was broken into. There was another incident where our water heater stopped working. There was no hot water and it was so painful to have someone come and fix it. It was out for days. We were given a key to another apartment to use for shower. At first, we got the key which did not work. Luckily for us, Freddy (maintenance staff) was around and we found him to let us in. He was also super nice to put shower curtains in the empty unit when I requested him because all water was spilling out from the tub.Last time, we had overflow leak in the toilet tank in guest bathroom. We didnt even feel like going to the office to submit the request. The problem would stop if we turn off the inlet valve and turn it back on. When I saw Freddy around, I asked him what might the problem be, just casually - I didnt expect anything from him. The poor guy stopped by late in the evening around 8 pm to check it and fix it. I went to the office next day to put in the maintenance request so at least he gets credit for it. This 4 star is for him and the few good people still around here. Really if these few familiar faces are not around, it would have been more difficult to just finish out our remaining lease period.

I have lived in Cottonwood over 6 years. Since Nicoya Grisez, has been the Property Manager the property has had major improvements. Just recently the ponds were cleaned and they have never looked better. It’s made a big difference to the property.Nicoya is always been helpful and responsive. She is an asset to our property.

This place used to be a really nice community. But over the years it fell apart. The pond used to be something nice to look at, now its a eye sore. There are tenants that do not respect were they live, and toss trash on the floor and into the Recyclable bins and not into the Garbage containers and no one seemed to get a handle on this problem. The management needs to really enforce the rules of this property, and not just concentrate on renting these overpriced luxury apartments

Cottonwood is probably one of the worst apartments one could rent for the money. The new management is very unresponsive as it took about 3 weeks and 3-4 different office visits to finally get my air conditioning fixed. Have an issue you need resolved? Go ahead and call, only to be sent directly to a voicemail box that clearly no one monitors because you will NEVER get a call back. The apartments are pretty basic for the price and the quality of service you receive. You also have to deal with constant BS complaints from neighbors and constantly hearing dogs barking. This is not a place you want to move. I will be moving as soon as I can.

Definitely going down hill since I moved here 3 years ago. Recently sold and before they did they came into my apartment at least 10 times. Taking pictures of appliances. Seeing if I had older toilets, which I do. (Been promised they were replacing them for over a year & 1/2 now.) Checked water heater. Checked fire alarms. Replaced fire alarms. Installed water sensors behind water heater & washing machine. Checked central air (which works terribly in the master) Changed filters. It goes on and on. And since sold they’ve been in more times checking water heater, checking fire alarms. Power washing balcony without notice of date so I couldn’t remove my items 1st. Painted railings and trim outside without notice. Again having to take my things off the porch. Maintenance doesn’t confirm apts. fix it tickets written up wrong by staff. Rent keeps going up and up. Want to go month to month?! Rent goes up more than $300 and charge a convenience fee of $500 more each month to do so. These apartments are extremely old and no longer “luxury homes” if they ever were.

The management allowed a multiple felon to live in the complex. After management was informed and video provided of the criminal resident’s behavior the management did nothing.The management system of checking for criminal history before issuing a lease is faulty or management ignored the multiple felon’s record and rented to him.Absolutely, unresponsive and terrible management.

Cottonwood Apartments is a great place to live. It is quiet, very nice and well laid out apt. The leasing office staff extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. The apartment complex is also in a great central location within Dublin, providing quick access to groceries, restaurants, dog park, etc.

Its one of the best apartments when it comes to the ambiance in the apartment, the surrounding hills & parks. The leasing office staff are very helpful & responsive. I have reduced one star for the appliance quality but it definitely works. Also Comcast being the only ISP for cable internet is a downside. I do not frequent the Pool area/gym so its not part of my review/rating.

Run as fast as you can from this place and all like it…these huge mega-complexes can easily become a nightmare for three main reasons:1) You get a bad neighbor(s). We have a deranged, drug-addled mountain man and his wife down below (were in 52G) who have smoked us and another neighbor/their children out of our apartments in the middle of the night because of all the marijuana smoke. The guy has an axe and chops wood, then burns it on his patio and inside his apt. instead of using the electric stove. Sounds environmentally friendly, eh? Uh, no when we all have wooden decks above the burning fires-and were in a drought. Also he likes to go outside on his patio NUDE and people, it aint a pretty sight in the middle of the afternoon. Especially when youre on your stairway and he bends over to moon you…2) We moved in two years ago and have to rent month-month this summer while looking for a new place (our lease was up in July) Cost: 900.00 more than the 2150 we paid in 2013. How can they do this in Dublin and in Cottonwood Apts? Good question. Howsabout someone has a whole Warehouse full of Lawyers-or something..whenever you ask for an explanation, you are told, its the Market. Now aint that nice?3) Dublin has a lot of stores-good stores and the best Vets (Parkway Hospital), the best Chiro/masseuse you will ever find in the Bay area- Alexander Chiropractic). Thats it. Its congested now and the Projects around here are full of problem Childs. The traffic is a nightmare that will become Elm Street next year because our City Hall salivates over building, building but no traffic/street plans. And the Fire Inspector? He finds no problem with Firebug mountain men who also set off fireworks in front of our vehicles this July 4th-yes the same deranged Nudist in the apt. below. The Inspector nicely told us not to judge those with a different Lifestyle. Even if their lifestyle interferes with their neighbors, animals, the elderly and childrens safety?-all helpless beings completely disrespected-here in Cottonwood. Most of them either cant or wont complain. Gee, I wonder why? We did and look what we got-our advice? Run, baby run. and save your $$ for a better rent payment in a better town.

Beware this place full of snakes !!Always promises but nothing happens.. not service for the apartment not past control I can’t trust a word they say.Every time I visiting my Friend apartment we see snake .Today out of the door we saw the snake and we call the office and they said it’s too late (5.45 pm ) and she can’t help us, she ask to move the snake with our SHOES!!!Not a place for kids and not a place for dogs beware!
