This place is amazing!! By far the best Costco Wholesale in the area. Always organized, neat and clean.Definitely come with a list because you will leave with 5+ more items than you wanted to. Toy store for adults. Always packed due to it being an amazing and perfectly located Costco.

Costco is the best place for everything. They have great food, amazing deals on TVs and computers and theres always something unexpected there. You just have to go there every week to see what new stuff they have. Plus, if youre an executive member you get 2% cash back every year on the stuff you buy. I havent had to pay for my membership for years because the executive membership pays for itself. And the food court is such a good deal. I mean a hot dog and a soda for $1.50? Where else can you get a deal like that?

The employees at this location are very rude and disrespectful. From the moment I walked in to the customer service desk I was met with attitude and like I was a bother to the employee. I thought it was just one person having a bad day so I didnt think much of it, but when I checked out I was also met with another employee who had a similar attitude. This made me rethink my entire membership. Hopefully a different location will be better but if it proves to be the same. I will not be a customer any longer.

Beautiful store, good atmosphere and friendly staff, I like the layout of this store over the other Costcos Ive been to. The design for the gas pumps makes so much more sense than the other Costcos. It also makes a huge difference when you are shopping in your own home town Costco vs visiting other cities being that many of the staff members are your neighbors or locals in the neighborhood with a familiar face, attitude and demeanor. Helpful friendly and not to mention again that its aesthetically pleasing. I can see this store coming in handy for many of my family needs + more.

Who doesn’t love Costco?! Great deals, lines aren’t too long at this location but ordering from the food court could use some improvement. They need a loud speaker so people waiting for pizza 20-40 minutes don’t have to all crowd around the window waiting to hear their number be called. Food court is always over crowded.

I really enjoyed going here because of all of the selections and unfortunately they run out of items pretty quick especially items that are in high demand but it is always A pleasure.Today is the one year anniversary of Costco and they are giving away free slices of cake to commemorate. Cant believe it has been a year already, it was a long time coming and Im glad Costco is here.Costco switch from plastic containers that are super convenient for The Roasted chickens to plastic bags which already ripped apart before I even made it home. I think it was a bad move personally, but Im sure it was a financial decision.

New Store!!! Way better then having just one Costco in this area. Found parking closer and faster then my usual Costco run in Temecula. Of course its clean and organized and not so crowded. Definitely very pleased we have options again.

Tried to place a phone order for a couple pizzas. Was told “We constantly just keep the ovens going and it’s a first come first served basis”, but they never, I mean NEVVVER have whole cheese pizzas ready within anything less than 30+ minutes, and I have 2 vegetarians in my family. He told me I’d have to come in and wait. As I’m standing there, waiting for nearly 30 minutes again, I watched at least FIVE PHONE ORDERS get served to waiting customers. They literally walked up to the window and said specifically that they were there to pickup a phone order. So what, you just pick and choose who you want to help? Next time I’ll order 5 smoothies just to toss them back through your window! Now I’m ready to leave with my pizzas and the line is backed all the way up to the registers, so I split the middle since I only purchased pizzas (pepperoni’s were already cold because I was waiting on the cheese!), and go to walk out the door, only to have the always rude “Nikki” screaming at me about how I need to wait in her 30 minute receipt line because she’s not efficient at her minimum wage job checking them and swiping a damn highlighter. I told her if she had a problem with me leaving with my pizzas that you have to pay for BEFORE RECEIVING THEM, then she can just call the cops and report it. Lol. This Costco is a NIGHTMARE. Parking lot is TERRIBLE, employees are TERRIBLE, Food Service workers are TERRIBLE, and everything moves around every 2 weeks cause they can’t decide where to put it all. Save yourself the headache and go to Temecula. The only nice people there are the Sample Servers, who are usually friendly.

Their so called manager Marina needs to work on her customer service. I get you had a long day dealing with people, but guess what? You chose to work customer service.My daughter and cousins decided to get some food and while we shopped, for some reason they didn’t get a receipt when they went to get help this so called manager said there was no transaction, yet on my daughters bank app it showed she had 2 different transactions from Costco. After both my sisters tried to get help from her, they asked to speak to the store manager. When she came out she turned off the station my daughter had used (probably rebooted it) and minutes later the money was shown to have been refunded. Before this all happened she didn’t even bother to come out to check the station to check all the transactions. After she called her manager she went back into the kitchen and was laughing. Joe (manager) her attitude does not reflect you as you mentioned to my sister, that was her being nasty to couple of kids.DO BETTER MARINA!

Today, I bought a case of energy drinks and accidentally threw away my receipt while I was eating at the food court. I realized that as I needed to leave, but decided to just tell the associate at the door (Paloma) what had happened. She had said something similar to, “Okay, walk down to register 227 on the right and wait for them to check.” Another associate said, “For one item?” I walked down to the register to wait for someone to check the computer for my receipt. Roland came out and asked for my Member ID # and jotted it down. He ended up finding my receipt, but the receipt printer wasn’t working so he offered to walk us out of the store. He walked us halfway through and told the other associate at the door (NOT the one who stopped me) that we were good to leave. As I was walking out, Paloma asked if they had found my receipt. To which I just said “Yes” and left. I wouldn’t ever mind getting my receipt checked, but I just would’ve liked for the associate at the door to be less assuming of me and more explanatory of their policy. I also work in customer service at a retail store and understand basic security policies are a necessity, but this just felt disrespectful.

Just goes to show you there are still people out there with there work ethic. The most refreshing experience I have had in A while and very heart warming my boyfriend and I went to Costco today to get the bare essentials and we both have bad backs so when we were leaving we let the door greeter know we were going to need help lifting the in wich we always do and yes they always help us in wich we are grateful for but today was A whole different experience so our door greeter got us help with our waters and our other heavier items A young man named Antonio greeted us at the front and said he would help us very polite and energetic and had A very positive attitude I was in awe he asked my boyfriend if could push the cart for us as I had thanked him for helping us as I explained we both have bad backs he told us no problem that was his job again in awe that someone as young as he was was soo happy to help I told him that he would be Blessed for having such A positive attitude and being so willing to help and again he said no problem that was his job and thats what he gets paid for this type of work ethic is very rare in todays society not just among young people but people of all ages I am writing this because our experience with him was soo refreshing and just made our day that much better I believe he definitely deserves recognition from upper management and the company again this type of work ethic is very rare in todays society considering I have worked in this industry for 18 years thank you again Antonio

I love the fact that the store is literally right down the street from where I live. No 5 stars due to the worst food court setup Ive ever seen. How they didnt have the foresight to see how much of a problem this would be is beyond me. One manager said it was designed this way so that customers didnt have to sit in the heat. Well, thats what high-powered fans and misters are for.

This Costco is new. The gas station is well laid out. It is one of the busier Costcos in the area, so do not plan on getting in and out fast. This is at least going to be a quarter of your day. Not the best Costco if you like a bigger variety of International food choices. The cell phone reception at this location is also terrible so if you need to be working from your phone while shopping this may not be the best Costco to visit, I would recommend the Temecula or Lake Elsinore location for better cell phone reception.

Parking design is horrible at this brand new built. The area around the gas station doesn’t have any sign to help control traffic.The pizza there is the worst I had out of any Costco I went to before.They’re always out of stuff, and I’m not talking about exotic or high demand stuff. Save your time and drive to Temecula instead, The guest service here is terrible. This location says they don’t offer physical cards anymore for no reason whatsoever and would not want to give me one. Went to Temecula and got mine printed in less than 5 minutes. Had to do this twice because the ladies who work at the desk in murrieta just wanted to give attitude and not a card!!! Hire better people who care about their customers for the membership counter.

They move items to different locations regularly, wasting the time I spend in the store trying to find what I need. It is hard to find an employee to help you. The food court is too close to the registers, causing congestion on your way out of the store.

Costco is still on point for my monthly shopping needs.This was my first visit to my new Murrieta Costco. The store is beautiful still learning all the ins and outs of the traffic flow into the parking lot and gas station. Im not sure if Im correct or not but the gas station seems larger than Temecula and Elsinore but the store seems a bit smaller than Temecula. Like I say I could be wrong. As for the store I couldnt find some of the staples I usally find at other stores but well see if that changes

UPDATE 4/24/24: I shouldnt have bought my tires at Costco.Great pricing but heaven forbit you need a tire rotation, you need to set an appointment a couple of weeks out or wait for 2 hours to see if they can fit you in. Again, nobody at the counter, they need to fix this because every time I go, everyone is frustrated by the lack of service. Definitely not the level of service you would expect from Costco.Dangerous parking lot and nobody is ever at the tire counter. Ive been 5-6 times and cant get any service.

Nice big new Costco. Seems larger than some of the surrounding ones. They designed the parking lot and gas station better than the others in the area. Very busy but was still able to get in and out without waiting much in any lines. No line at the gas station which is a first for a southern California Costco that Ive been to on a weekend. This is also the furthest north I have been able to find the organic flour. Its available in San Diego and Temecula but not the other Costcos north like Moreno valley. Update: went back on a weekend and the line for gas was crazy! I guess the secret is out.

I nearly always enjoy going to Costco. Usually spending more than anticipated and getting more items than intended. But that is part of the experience.I went to the pharmacy. Filled a prescription, when I saw the price, I asked if they ran it through my insurance. The answer was yes. I then asked if the Costco price was different. I was amazed that the Costco price was a third the cost!Be sure to ask for the Costco price.

The store is clean and organized But, customer service is horrible at the membership service station. I have a membership myself and when I added my son they just let me add him no problem. But when I went again to buy an additional membership for my daughter and her boyfriend, they asked me for proof of address lol. First of all I wasn’t applying to receive any type of benefits from you guys, I am purchasing not asking for free! second, why do you need proof of address when we are purchasing a membership? Third, we just went online and got the memberships there and we didn’t have to show proof of anything. What is wrong with y’all? Asking for personal information for a basic membership? Smh. Not to mention, after we bought the memberships online, we went in for a physical card and they denied us with it because they told us that we are supposed to use digital cards now so I went to Temecula Costco and guess what? They provided us with the physical memberships there. What if we don’t have a phone? How would one use the “digital card”? Your customer service sucks at Murrieta and you should consider replacing these folks in the membership station.

This location is fairly new, it is clean and things are very easy to find. As are other things that are never on our list to buy! Lol. The staff is friendly, and they make the checkout process quick and easy! We try to go early in the morning right after they open to beat the madness, but I feel like Costco is always busy, no matter the time of day! Parking is convenient and easy to get in and out of. Make sure you dont go shopping on an empty stomach!

I get my contacts from Costco because they usually make it easy and fast. Ive lived back and forth from Temecula and different areas of SD due to my job. So Ive experienced a lot of Costco opticals departments and continue to choose Costco because they can pull up my file at anyone one of them. Very convenient and have been very pleased with the service. But the warm springs optical department not so much. Usually after ordering it takes 2-3 days for them to come in and Costco will call you when ready for pickup. So far its been 2 weeks. Ive been trying to call but no one is picking up. I managed to get through once but was placed on hold for 15 mins, so I hung up and tried again. This time no one ever picked up and automatically hung up. Ive run out of contacts and traveling soon. Costco really letting me down this time.

Absolutely horrible experience. Everyone was just so ghetto and rude inside. I would be absolutely horrified If an elderly person in my family had to go shop here as no one greeted anybody no one was nice and especially everyone was so fast moving they would knock someone over and not even notice. In general, I would have to say as well that the deals weren’t as well.. a deal it was just regular prices. I don’t know if it’s the economy, but in general the selection was not that good in the store very average. If you are looking for a wholesale place that Sam’s Club this place, I don’t vibe with it.

Costco has some variety of good quality food items, also all sorts of quality clothes, tech items, even jewelry and books, usually at a pretty competitive price. They also hand out sample foods regularly. There’s also a food court with great options. There’s also a gas station with competitive prices, but for using all that you gotta be using their internal id, even for entering the store, they don’t have baskets so you gotta carry stuff in your hands or drag around the unwieldy cart around the huge hangar, they don’t accept Mastercard, and if you would like to pay cash to your friend who got their id for the cookies you purchased, you gotta do it so they don’t see you do that, or you’ll get reprimanded by the cashier. Upon exit there’s persons carefully ticking off your check against the cart in case you stole something on your way out from the cashiers. Would shop for Kirkland brand and occasional clothes, but hate the customer service, but I bet online shopping requires their member id as well.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of shopping at Costco, and let me tell you, it was absolutely dreadful. From start to finish, everything about this store left me frustrated and disappointed. Here are the reasons why I strongly advise you to stay away from Costco:1. Chaotic Store Layout: Navigating through the store felt like a never-ending maze. The aisles were poorly organized, making it impossible to find what I needed without spending an eternity searching. It seemed like they deliberately arranged the items to confuse and frustrate customers.2. Overwhelming Crowds: The sheer number of people in the store was suffocating. It felt like a madhouse with shopping carts crashing into each other and customers pushing and shoving. The long queues at the checkout made me question if I had entered a theme park instead of a retail store.3. Limited Product Selection: Despite its large size, Costco surprisingly had a limited variety of products. Many essential items were out of stock, and the options available were generic and subpar. It was disappointing to see such a lack of variety, especially considering the stores reputation.4. Unhelpful Staff: The employees at Costco seemed completely disinterested in assisting customers. I encountered several instances where I needed help or had a question, but the staff members were either nowhere to be found or simply shrugged me off. Their lack of professionalism and customer service skills were evident throughout my visit.5. Excessive Bulk Packaging: Costcos obsession with bulk packaging is excessive and impractical for the average consumer. Not everyone needs a lifetime supply of toilet paper or a gallon of ketchup. Its a wasteful approach that forces customers to buy more than they need, leading to unnecessary expenses and storage issues.6. Inadequate Return Policy: Costcos return policy is a nightmare. Despite claims of customer satisfaction, the process is overly complicated and time-consuming. The male independent optometrist they have is so rude and has no manners towards people. I wont be going to that location for my eye check up anymore I rather drive farther then have that optometrist make me feel like that again. Im HOH and he didnt care that I couldnt understand him when he turned his back on me he just kept talking. Then I approached him to give him my glasses and he told me to stay back from him as if I was infected with some deadly disease. Just and awful experience with him overall. However, the amazing employees here werent about to let me go home empty handed.Four of them volunteered to tie themselves to the top of my car and carry the TV back to my house. I attempted to call the tire sales center to check availability of a specific auto battery. I tried for 15 minutes staying on the line, letting the phone ring each time, until it automatically disconnected me. I would probably avoid this place on a Friday evening. I tried calling in my order before arriving. The person who answered told me to come in the pizza’s are hot and ready. I was surprised so I went to get gas, came in put in my order and then walked around. It’s been over 30 minutes and I didn’t want to be that person but when I asked how much longer they said 15-20 minutes. I tried asking for a refund and the person helping me seemed new because he did not know what he was doing. I just told him it’s fine that I would wait since he was struggling for 5 minutes to try and process my request. He let me know he would go check on my order and came back telling me 30 minutes. I’m quite frustrated now and I told the store supervisor not to tell people to come in the pizza’s hot and ready but be truthful and tell them there is a wait because that is how customers become upset. My boyfriend and I just signed up for the Executive membership yesterday, 4/15, at the San Marcos location. We were advised of a wonderful $50 promotion if you sign up for the Citi Bank CC the same day. We decided to go for it! Got approved to use $3,000 immediately, but $5,000 altogether. We only got a few groceries the first day. Today we decided to explore the world of Costco again, but in the Murrieta location as we were nearby visiting family. We were planning on buying a nice computer desktop setup, a new mattress, and practically a whole new wardrobe. We also went to the Verizon kiosk and the outstanding gentlemen went above and beyond for us. We got 2 new Samsung ultras. Now comes time to pay. We were near closing time and unfortunately lost track of the time at the kiosk. We are directed to the last cashier open at 7pm today, 4/16, and she was extremely rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful. I advised to her that I just signed up for my membership yesterday. I said I planned on paying with my new Citi bank card that I got through Costco and already used to pay for my groceries yesterday. She said I can’t use the credit card unless it’s tied through Costco. I thought I just reinforced that confusion with my prior statement? So she said, “Alright then, we’ll check and see if what you’re saying is true.” I realized I left my wallet a few feet away at the kiosk and said I apologize I will be right back. I ran over and back within 2 seconds to pay for my items, but the cashier told me she had to void my items and to wait a little while because she was ringing other employees up. Excuse me? Shouldn’t you be ringing customers up and prioritizing them over ringing up other employees with over 30 items? It wasn’t just a few items. So I had to stand there and wait for the employees who work and shop here daily to ring up their monthly grocery spree before I could receive any assistance and leave the already-closed premises. I don’t appreciate the lack of respect and mindfulness of the consumer from an establishment. Went on the weekend when its busier and WOW what an s-show. I know the store is new but I would have thought thered be better training and organization. The two worst parts were the food court and the receipt checking line to walk out. Since the food court is inside, it needs a higher level of organization than outdoor locations. Theres no clear set up in the food court so half the people think there a line to order when there actually isnt, and half of the kiosks end up empty. Theres also no designated waiting area so people just hover around the window. Imagine a semi circle around the window, and when your number gets called you walk up, then you turn around and the semi circle has reformed so that theres no exit from the semicircle. The seating area is also very small and poorly planned. If youre going to eat there, Id recommend eating first because most tables dont have room to put your cart next to you. When we were finally ready to leave, there was 4 reciept checkers by the door. The only issue was that the line to the exit stretch all the way back to most of the cashiers. Not a single employee could organize the line so that people knew it split into 4. By the time you get to the end of the line, youll see that 2 of the 4 employees at the door at pretty much doing nothing.Bonus review item - maybe because its a new location and drivers are distracted looking around while theyre driving, but be very super careful walking through the parking lot. I saw multiple close calls of people almost getting hit by cars.

I am so GLAD that the food court is inside! We dont have to deal with teens who more than likely will loiter around when school is out or game days.Its a Costco but has a lot of space to walk around. It isnt crowded at all like the Temecula one. Staff is friendly.

My new favorite Costco!!! Lots of variety. Employees are super helpful and friendly ( 1 if the other Costcos near by ....Employees are RUDE) . During the week easy to get in and get out. Weekends not soo much....but all Costcos are chaotic on weekends. Love the gas station. Easy to get in ..fill up and go. Charging station ( EV) coming soon, cant wait for that!!!

Parking can be a nightmare, there is no straight path due to curbing everywhere. The food court now is inside and at times can be a traffic jam. As people are checking out they are met with people in line waiting to order their food. One of my least favorite Costcos.

Costco is one of my favorite stores. I frequently visited a new store in Murrieta Ca. It is conveniently located near the freeway. On October 2, 2022 I visted this location. Unfortunately, my visit was horrible when I reached the check stand. The employee Dillon was rude and unprofessional. First of all, he did not greet both my wife and I. In addition, to make matters worst, he was talking loudly over us with another employee adjacent at another check stand. The entire transaction process was unprofessional. He did not make eye contact with us. At the end of the transaction, he did not appreciate our business. He failed to be professional, and he definitely was not courteous with us. He did not speak or make any kind gestures. I hope next time I visit this location I would like to be treated better with respect.

Take my money!!!Finally a Costco in Murrieta!Was so happy when breaking ground first happened,and what a Gem of a Costo this turned into!Came here opening day with the absolutely huge crowd and got some awesome deals and price cuts!Not much else to say if you shop at Costco,but am very happy that the Food court is inside!A very large,clean and lovely store!Parking is done very well,and was thought out perfectly.Also really like the benches they randomly have outside for you to just sit and hangout.Love coming here just to walk around and look at stuff...but then I end up buying a TV,or something along those lines and a few hundred of random awesome food items you just cant find anywhere else!Of the other two, this is the Best costo in the area! Highly recommend this store above all the others by far

Definitely needed one back in this area. Wider aisles so those pesky people dont ram their carts into your heels. They have self checkout lanes that magically need an employee there to swipe your membership card for you to start. Typical Costco drivers, so beware in the parking lots. They run stop signs, drive in wrong lanes...so bad that Costco coned off the area near the entrance. Mustve hit a pedestrian already

Typical Costco. Has Fuel and the typical inside services. This location will likely glean customers from the Temecula and Lake Elsinore stores however, expect the same busy-ness and shopping vigor typical of Costco.One major con is vehicle access. Getting in to the parking lot is a challenge due to only one inlet (on Warm Springs Pkwy) and of course only one way out. Traffic can be impatient and rude at the light (due to long waits) thus marring the shopping experience at this Costco.

Very nice location and gas station those 2 for me. But they are lacking in a lot of inventory compared to the Moreno and Temecula locations, quite a few things I couldnt find here that I did at those. And they need to fix that Huge pot hole in their entrance turning right near the highway.

Has all the positives you would expect from a Costco, but the food court design is a major fail. pos kiosk in a horrible location right in front of counter so people waiting for their food are blocking screens, then the terminals are so close together one customer with a cart blocks all three terminals. Not crazy about the parking lot either. Gas station has a good flow though.

Shoutout to Sal in the meat department! It’s been in the news there is a shortage of larger turkeys this year. I have purchased 2 fresh, never frozen, 23 lb.+ Costco Butterballs for the past 12 years… one for the office and one for home. Last Friday I was picking through 30 15-17 lb turkeys and I happened to run into Sal in the meat department. I asked if he possibly had any larger turkeys in the back. Sal disappeared on a mission for 10 minutes or so and came out with 2 23.5+ lb. turkeys. Thanksgiving is saved! Thank you Sal for going above and beyond to ensure I am able to provide both the staff I manage and my family turkeys reflective of the gratitude I have for all!

Love theres a Costco here but my first purchase was some beef packed the same day. Opened it up the next morning and it was rotten. Took it back no sweat but still a hassle when youre trying to feed people.Lots of good produce and food though. Hesitant on the beef still but chicken and fish have been ok. I came to buy Plan B about an hour or 2 ago and the pharmacist at the front says “ there’s ripped jeans with holes in the back over there”. Costco FIRE this employee!! It’s disgusting that your hiring a person who thinks it’s ok to say something like this to your customer. This is the worst thing an employee could say to a customer at a pharmacy. Food court is unorganized, and unfriendly. Waited 40 minutes, once I arrived, for one pizza, which i called a half hour ahead of time. With no end in sight I had to get a refund but asked if I could just order a few individual slices in place of a whole pizza. They said I could but I would have to go to the back of the line and wait another 40 minutes. Poorly handled. All in about an hour and a half and had to cancel.

I havent been to a Costco in a long time so maybe my pov is a bit skewed. Navigating the parking lot is a nightmare because they are doing other construction and there is like one way to get in and out. They have a bunch of random stuff. Think of a giant Aldis. Their organic spice collection is very limited compared to sams club, which is shocking. I will stick to shopping at Ralphs for the produce I regularly eat and drink. Their gas is much less expensive so its worth it for that reason.
