Great, busy location, but easily able to go in and out with their self-checkout registers. You really cant go wrong going to any Costco for your bulk shopping done or even regular purchases. They have a pharmacy, optometrist, photo, bakery, meat, and tires departments.

Get here early if you want eggs. We arrived 10 minutes before opening on a Sunday and people were already lining up. Eggs flying off the shelves!I rarely go to Costco now due to living abroad. My visits 4.5 years ago and today were uneventful, but satisfactory. There’s an interesting selection of products. Costco got me with their free samples yet again.

The Parking lot needs support on busy days. People arent mindful of others & its a safety hazard. The club itself is typically pretty clean with a good selection. Also be mindful of workers when they are coming through, they dont always say excuse me and push past you at times.

I bought my son a slice of pizza, but we couldnt buy a bottle of water because the vending machines were out of order. The staff at the food kiosk refused to give me a cup for water. I guess I should have bought a soda container and filled it with water.

I went for their rotisserie chicken. Someone said 10 min. So I watched these two guys, mainly one of them. His routine from removing from oven to container was amazingly fast! Then I went to their food court. Their kiosk couldnt be simpler. Then I got in a line that had at least 12 people in front of me. It took only a few minutes. Cant beat that, plus food is good!

Holy Toledo!! I urge you to not visit this Costco on Sunday afternoon. Parking is ridiculous. Beyond ridiculous. The lot was designed so that the driveway is very close to the parking lot. There are not good walkways between the exit of the building and much of the parking on the back and sides of the building.Once inside, it is your typical Costco experience. Lots of stuff at great prices. Some stuff you need and a bunch of stuff you don’t.

5/28/24The staff was so rude(Ruby). First of all he didn’t greeting or even farewell. His service is terrible. He explained things with negative attitude toward customer(bad facial expression, unkind wording). Did inappropriate manner like returning my member card by throwing, tearing the resell form in front of me. He literally has to improve hisservice.

This store is clean and the employees are friendly and helpful. Parking sucks! The parking lot is BIG, the problem is people think its okay to just sit in their cars with a blinker on, as if they are waiting on a car to pull out of a parking spot. In REALITY, THEY MAKE A MESS of traffic!!

I love costco, but I just got back from grabbing lunch here, I was so excited to do so since normally dont have pizza but I was craving Costco pizza today. However I was patiently waiting in line and it was my turn to order the female cashier left without saying a word. The employees start bickering amongst themselves and I ask is someone gonna help me? The service attitude of that optical shop is extremely bad. Dont go there. I wasted 200 US dollars and went to another store to get my glasses re-matched. There was an Asian woman there, tall, and her attitude was particularly bad when she saw Asians. I asked her several times but she ignored me. I raised my voice a little bit, and her manager, a Mexican woman, came over and accused me of yelling at people. She thought I was easy to bully. I was so angry that I didnt want to get my glasses re-matched there. Then I went to complain, and the Mexican woman also said that I yelled at people. I said lets watch the surveillance. I said she bullied me and insulted me. She would bully customers. She was full of nonsense. Watch the surveillance and then she left.

Awesome place to pick up groceries at Wholesale prices! The staff are always friendly and what’s surprising is the people in this area are also very friendly! I like this Costco because they always have what I need in stock and they stock all of the latest items. It’s also a great place to go for a quick hot dog and free drink with a churro on the side all for under 4bucks!!! The check clerks are always so friendly and I’m talking all of them! They must have good customer service training or something.. I don’t live in this area but I always find myself coming here because I know it will go smoothly. Thank you Costco Monterey Park!

This place is great! When we were done shopping, I took my reimu Fumo plush to the food court and got herself a hotdog. Please move the EV charging stations for electric cars!!!The EV charging stations are in front of handicapped parking. Handicapped and normal cars are parking in the EV car stalls because they are not in front of the charging stations and the stalls are not clearly marked. Frustrating.The first time I shopped here the charging station was free but now they charge.Long lines to get out of this Costco. There were about 10-15 carts behind me as well. (See photo)

On December 18th 2023 in the returns line at 7:30ish pm, before closing time at 8:30pm my wife was left unattended by a male that supposedly, went on his lunch break an hour before closing. She was ignored by the other two employees for a good 15 minutes, they just kept calling other people in line because, according to them, she wasn’t called upon. I had an argument with one of the girls asking her why she was ignoring my wife, when she was two feet away from her and she said “she (my wife) should’ve waited to be called to come forward” that’s why she kept helping other people. Stupid untrained and uneducated customer service.

Worst Costco I have ever been. It is Christmas Eve, which is supposed to open on 8:30am. But not opening till 8:50am. And worst management I have ever seen. It was my first time going to Costco and tried out the food, since it was recommended by others. The price point was really good and the food was tasty but the customer service was bad. I ordered a whole pizza and some drinks and 2 churros. There is no sign to point out that you have to wait in a different line when you order a whole pizza. Keep in mind that I did go 30 minutes prior to closing, (I was not aware that they closed so early being that it was my first time there) but all the workers were annoyed and made sure I knew it by telling me that I was SUPPOSED to go to 1 line for pizza and another line for anything else. The workers were yelling at the crowd saying what they had left, and were slamming the gates when they were closing. There is a way to be stern, and there is a way to be rude.If Im paying for a service, Im paying for the experience: the shopping, the food, and customer service is part of the package.

WORKERS ARE RACIST TO ASIANSGirl with glasses wearing green plaid working on 9/17/2023 around 6PM by the entrance needs to get her manners together. I walked in, showed her my card, and turned around literally 5 seconds later because I felt something drop out of my bag. I wanted to turn around and pick it up. She stuck out her hand, nearly touching my breasts, and spoke to me as if I didnt speak English. No no no, go around. She made me walk ALL the way around the store, through the crowd and check out lines to pick up the lip balm I dropped 2 feet away from me.What if I received a family emergency call? Youd still force me to navigate through the crowd to exit? You literally saw me walk past you 2 seconds ago. WHAT COULD I HAVE STOLEN?There was definitely some RACISM going on by the way she spoke to me, as if she expected all the Asian customers that frequent the store cant speak basic English.I will take Im sorry maam but you have to use the exit not the no no no. That is how you speak to an infant or a dog, not an adult. Disrespectful.Im calling in to customer service tomorrow. Im not one to give retail workers a hard time but respect go both ways. Its clear that much thought was put into redesigning and improving access to the expanded gas station while attempting to reduce the impact on other businesses.* This is very busy Costco. Don’t come here if you need to look for something specific. I asked 4 different employees for BBQ lighters and no one can find them after 30 mins. And their computer doesn’t show where their inventory is. This is the only location I come to so I’m pretty familiar with where everything thing. Unfortunately, they’re always moving stuff around, but you’d think they would know where their stuff is. But nope, that’s apparently too much to ask.

This place is super close to where I live and have been a member for over a year. They first accidentally put me on the executive membership and said they cant change it. I found out later that was a lie! So after calling in, the person in the main office fixed it. Well, instead of downgrading it, they canceled my whole membership by accident and had to redo it again. I had so many holds on my cc.This place is packed but most Costco are like that. However its the people here that is more of the problem. Blocking the ways, not watching out for the surrounding, and today, two ladies out they out would not move to on side or the other. Blocking right in the middle going super slow. Outside, cars packed next to the Food Court so they can get food, pick people or a pizza up. Cant you just park and walk like 2 freaking mins....its good exercise for them!On top of it all, first time an item was missed while using the self checkout. I got 5 errors scanning the strawberries and deli meat. The worker came over to check and cleared everything...well, he missed the croissants, and I had to wait at the exit for them to charge that one small item.Worse, I cant pay with my EBT card I still had balance on and had to pay with a cc instead. Took a very long time just for that one item.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent interaction I had with one of the employees regarding the Costco Black Membership sales pitch. While I understand that upselling is a common practice, I was taken aback by the manner in which the employee approached the situation.The individuals demeanor came across as overly persistent and, at times, slightly pushy. I appreciate that employees are encouraged to promote membership upgrades, but the consistent attempts to steer the conversation towards the Black Membership without adequately addressing my questions and concerns were off-putting. Additionally, the employee in question accused me of being rude after I had told them for the final time that I am good without the upgraded membership. I would like to think that the employee was having a terrible day, but I cannot put this encounter aside as I genuinely annoyed me.Furthermore, instead of genuinely engaging in a two-way conversation about the memberships features and costs, the employee seemed more focused on highlighting the benefits without a nuanced understanding of how they might align with my shopping habits and needs. This lack of personalization made me question whether the employee was genuinely interested in meeting my preferences or simply aiming to meet a sales target.I understand that employees are expected to meet certain sales quotas, and I respect that aspect of their role. However, I believe that achieving these targets should not come at the expense of customer comfort and satisfaction. A more balanced and consultative approach that respects the customers decision-making process would have been far more appreciated.In conclusion, while I continue to value the shopping experience at Costco, my recent interaction regarding the Costco Black Membership left a negative impression. First off the facts. This location is one of the busiest locations in the LA region. With that in mind be mindful that the parking is not the best and traffic is always bad. Its just a huge volume of people shopping all at once. Please keep that in mind when coming here. Bring your patience and be kind to one another. Besides that this location has great merchandise and always tries their best to keep up levels of merchandise. Key tips for this location. If possible go early and during the week to avoid huge crowds. Dont come here on weekends if you can, you will regret it if you do. Lastly dont come here on the first day and last day of coupons... you have been warned.

I would be cautious when buying tires from here !!! I bought brand new tires in November of 22’ and just this past weekend I was driving home on the freeway and my tire blew out !! Thankfully it was the back driver tire and there was no fatal or minor accident. But that could have been any other tire and had it been a front tire who knows what could have happened !!! The tires were still under warranty however I still had to pay a portion for a new tire. There was no puncture to the actual tire that completely came off and I was left with only my rim. So it was not that I was driving on a flat tire and that’s how the wheel came off. The tire must have been defective because the threading on the tire that came off was completely unraveled. I shouldn’t have to pay to get a new tire when I was originally sold and sent home with a defective tire. Also, some of the employees at this location have the worst customer service and are really rude to customers.

I went to Costco yesterday for just a few things and went to self checkout. I was assisted by a really nice lady name Libi, she helped me scan all my items and asked me about my visit. I told her that everything was great and I would be back again soon with someonse else to help me because I have back issues and cant carry water bottle packs. She offered to get someone to assist me and I said that would be perfect thank you. She had someone bring the water bottle packs to my cart and then another man named Jesse helped me take my cart to my car and then load my items into the trunk. Which is sometimes an issue at other Costco locations. I enjoyed the fact that I had the option to opt for self check out. Even the food court was streamlined for faster service. This is not the closest Costco but it’s the one I prefer in this area. The Alhambra one is crazy busy and I manage to get through this one pretty quick. Parking lot gets full since this one does tend to fill up fast and is busy with the other stores around it.I’ve noticed some attitude with the food court staff but the warehouse staff are pretty friendly and are willing to help. One of the recent comic shop at Costcos great customer service good prices good quality I just dont understand when people complain instead of complaining reach to one of the managements or the workers and they will be happy to help you my personal experience with managements or assistance or workers theyre there to help you but if you dont address it how you expect to get to help you one I just dont recommend it I will suggest give it a try and see for yourself good quality of produce and everything around it about Costco is good and if youre hungry you call us go outside I need something fresh

I actually am between 4 & 5 stars. My only complaint is that it is always crowded! No matter what time of day there is always a ton of ppl shopping. Still, lines move steadily quick..

There are an uncomfortable number of customers who are incredibly rude and hateful towards the employees. Its like they expect servitude rather than service out of them. The managers need to step up and deal with these customers.

I love this Costco. Its really close to my house and always very clean which is important. Its always very busy on the weekends and so is the gas station. But the line for the gas station actually goes a lot faster than you would think. I always get gas during the week in the morning before I go to work . Theres usually not even a line to pump gas.

I love this store. And if you ask for assistance they will get a employee to shop with you, which is awesome I recently suffered a injury and struggle pushing the cart and loading it in the car which they will do. It makes going less intimidating, and helps you feel like you can shop with out exhausting or over extending yourself.

Website lists food court until 8:30, they actually close at 6. I didnt get to order because I got there at literally 6:01. To make it worse, we just flew in to town and I didnt know the food court is located OUTSIDE. I was inside looking for the food court. By the time I asked an associate about the food court, he said it was outside. We walked out there to see the man at the counter being helped. I got in line. When that man finished, I walked up and the employee said sorry, that was the last one, we are closed. Wow. If I had known it was outside, I would have made it. But because I went inside the warehouse and couldnt find it, I didnt get to order. What a great welcome to California. We only stopped here cause we needed gas for our rental car. Im really peeved about the hours being wrong. And I was in line at 6, but that customer being helped went past 6pm. It was literally 6:01pm. Youd think theyd finish the line of customer, then close. I was the only customer left in line.Thanks for nothing Costco! Not very welcoming here in California.

I slipped and fell at the gas station because there’s oil on the ground, and they didn’t clean in time. Their manager was refuse to call ambulance for me, and they denied everything, their manager said they can’t see the oil through the camera. They are very good at finding excuses to evade their responsibility, they are too shameless. No lawyer accept the case because my injury isn’t big enough, so they can’t make a lot of money from it. No one cares justice, I feel the law just is a joke, only protect bad, sneaky and cunning people.

I always go to this Costco but today was extra great! Well, customers seem not to know that you drive a cart just like a car so Right side go left side opposite... aside from that, the WORKERS are so nice and friendly and today I got muffins and didnt realize it but I had to get 2 rather than just 1 for that price - so Chris, the guy asisting the girl on the counter so nicely and friendly said oh no problem, I will get it for you, what flavor would you like??!! That is what I call 5 Star customer service!! So thank you Chris!! Also, I must say thay they ALWAYS have the guys working on the carts!!! There are no lack of carts at all, and to the guys working so hard, THANK YOU!!! The carts are always so neatly put away! Love it!! I was greeted nicely and waved good bye nicely with a have a great day!! And of course you just gotta get the pizza as you exit! It is so tasty!!

I love shopping at Costco! great deals on all items. Check out the womens, mens and childrens clothing. They have a great selection on holiday items. The rotisserie chicken is great for salads, quesadillaa, enchiladas and soup. Outstanding customer service! All the employees are so nice and helpful. The store is always nice, clean and well-stocked. This Costco is very busy and parking can be a little hectic.

The employees there are so nice always willing to help. I had some questions and a manager named Ismael was very helpful. And one other guy helped me load my waters into my car. I also had a return and the service desk people are so polite and friendly especially Adrian always greets you with a smile and is very courteous and helpful.

This Costco can get crowded. Staff is awesome and nice. Everything there is efficient. Pro tip is too go to the checkout lines closest to the entrance since not many shoppers walk all the way back there.

Good place to shop. Only $60 a year you can go half on the card you each get a card. Like be the Price on their Olive oil. Kirkland. You can get a big Olive oil for way less then you can get for it at regular store. Olive oil is a good fat.

Busy as always. Got there at 4 and gas line was long and lots of shoppers (Black Friday). But by the time we were leaving at 5pm, crowd died down and gas line was a LITTLE shorterFood court still doesnt have the everything pizza. Just plain cheese or pepperoni since the start of the pandemic
