We frequently visit the Business Costco in South San Francisco for stationery, bulk purchases, and more. I highly recommend this location, especially if youre organizing an event or conducting business-related shopping. The customer service is friendly, and its worth noting that they are now open on Sundays as well. Great location with easy access from Hwy 101.

This Costco, a relatively new store, less than 4 years old, is situated in close proximity to the area where the major biotechnology and pharmaceutical comanies such as Genentech, Amgen, AstraZeneca, Merck, Acerta Pharma and many others are located. In fact, South San Francisco is a home to the largest number of biotechnology companies in the world with over 200 companies. Because of this, Costco Business center plays a significant role in making sure that those businesses ran smoothly by selling all necessary merchandise. Because it is NOT a wholesale store, many items are not offered. The good news about it is that it is less crowded place inside the store and in the parking lot. Cashiers lines are very short. A huge freezing area in the back of the store is a unique attraction. You do not need any special jacket to be inside as some of the reviewers recommended. In fact, when i visited the freezing area, i discovered 16 people inside happily choosing their purchase, and none of them wore any jacket. Because of the kind of customers this Costco has from business communities, the store manager is likely experiencing a tremendous pressure to perform well. And, i think the store manager really does well. Everything is well orginized and managed.

Snack sized portions designed for offices and a larger assortment of of candies and snacks than the normal Costco warehouse. Centrally located and convenient off the freeway exit. However no clothes or jewelry and household electronics but a busy food court is thriving.

This is my favorite Costco in the Bay Area. It sells a vast array of goods, many of which are intended for use in fine restaurants. The checkout lines move rather quickly, parking is always available and the staff is helpful and polite.

Great store for business quantity food items and restaurant supplies. The kitchen equipment is very price competitive. The refrigerator section is huge and offers a variety of cheeses, yogurts, and meats. The freezer section is stocked with various types of vegetables and meats. The Costco business store full fills my needs on all levels. The Business Center does not offer clothing, Rotisserie Chicken, or Gas. You will have to travel 2 exits for these items.

I bought bread from the store on March 31, 2020. Once I got home I noticed that the best by date on the wrap was from March 8, 2020. Less than one day later the bread had mold on it. Im sure I wont be the only one complaining about this. Horrible way to sell essential item such as bread.

Workers gotta smile more. They need to remember that theyre representing the Costco Wholesale Retail Corporation. They act like they dont want to be there. The greeter was the only one that smiled and said GOOD MORNING 😊.. everyone else didnt even make eye contact and bothered looking... so sad.Otherwise, I like going here, cause it opens earlier than the other 2 in my area, which are always packed.

Has a lot of commercial kitchen appliances and tools. Also has some items for household use at a great price such as sheet pans, knives, etc.Bring a jacket or borrow a bright orange Costco one because theres a giant fridge and its super cold in there. Great selection of bulk deli items such as cheese and meats. You can even buy a whole pig for roasting!!They dont have a pharmacy or many of the regular household items such as toothpaste. They do sell ice.Worth a visit since its much less crowded than the regular stores.

I usually visit one of the Costcos near SFO before or after leaving the airport. This one is off of Oster Point has closed their small food court since my last visit. From now on I will only be stoping at the other one that is closer to the airport. Both are just north of SFO off the 101.

Love this site, not as congested as others with ample supplies and courteous employees and customers. In a rush I accidentally left my purse in the cart and drove away to discover my error 30 minutes later. I returned to Costco not expecting anything but they had my purse with everything still in it cash, credit cards and my ID. Thank you

This store has a very accessible location considering its environment. Plenty of level and outside parking. Keep mind this is “business center” location so no household electronics and personal items like clothes, and jewelry etc. The food court is as to be expected.

It closes earlier than the regular costcos...but this location more than makes up for it in ease of parking and a nice wide open layout without too many people pushing carts blindly into you. Did happen to catch one guy literally ram his cart into one of the steel shelves. Thought he might have had too many afternoon cocktails😀. Anyways, I will be coming here again and enjoyed everything about this place.

The business center sometimes offers items that arent at the warehouse. Its smaller obviously, but still great. It can get just as busy as the warehouse, but less parking available. So theres pros and cons to choosing this location, but I love Costco, so I still give it a rating of four stars.

Good for quick shopping for the biz! Has great selection of drinks, snacks, food stuff supplies and then some. This is no frills Costco (no clothes or books, vitamins, etc) but caters to businesses. Traditional food court is outside. Note this location has limited hours-closes earlier and closed on Sundays.

So close to my place. Over the past few years theyve been increasing their line of products similar to wholesale Costco, which saves me a trip of going there. Their produce quality is much fresher and better than other Costcos. We love to shop here as the staff is very friendly and the store is very clean.

So, i love Costco already. I didnt think I could love it any more!This Business Center is SO clean and bright. Although it doesnt have everything a regular store does, it has a lot of things a regular store doesnt. Theres a lot more supplies, especially for restaurants. Their walk in refrigerator is AMAZING. Its huge and has a ton of bulk items that you youd buy if you were a restaurant.Id highly recommend coming here if you only need/want the basics and dont need any clothing or bakery goods. Also, a wonderful spot to get meats for bbqs or anytime you need to feed a large group. Lines are short, and staff is friendly and helpful.

Stopped by this morning just to check out what is the difference between a regular Costco and a Costco business center. Came home with almost $500 purchase. If youre looking for a great selection of meat at a great price, this is the place. But you will have to divide up the bulk package yourself at home. They have a good selection of candies and drinks and refrigerated food items. I will definitely go back again and take more time to go through every aisle. Just be aware of coupon pricing from the regular Costco. I noticed there were 2 items that were not discounted with coupon at the business center but were still discounted at the regular Costco. I always double check my receipt and found I was charged for 2 counts of an item when I only has 1. Got refunded right away with no hassle.

Its a little parking lot that you can find parking they have disabled carts ready and available the staff is very friendly the place is extremely clean they even have jackets for you to go in there frigerator section. My first time in this location. Theyve just opened less than two months ago. The selection is amazing. Geared towards businesses but they definitely have the staples. Dont go thinking you would get rotisserie chicken or rows of vitamins and personal supplies. Glad to see one of the best cashiers in San Francisco transferred here -- Tony!Food court doesnt rush you, and they dont mishandled your food (in the rush, SF Location sometimes smash your bread). There was also a lady walking around cleaning the tables and sweeping the floor! She was making sure the tables are cleaned for those just getting ready to sit down.When I got to my car, the cart attendant - Rouie - came and help me with my heavy cases of water. He just showed up and offered his help! I tried to give him cash tip, and he refused! Attendants in other locations take them! I was impressed!

Faster in and out vs regular Costco but not as much variety so it serves the business user or basic bulk needs. Moved quickly through the line. Only problem was a customer behind me tried to tell me his idea of social distancing was far too close for me. When I asked him to respect it, he still tried to be too close. Good thing my upbringing stopped me from giving him an attitude adjustment right there on the spot. I love visiting this Costco, easy to find parking at any time and this Costco is not the busy like other Costcos in bay area. You will get lot of bulk items which are not available in other Costcos. If you are new to bay area and close to this Costco, I recommend to use this one instead of the airport Blvd one. Im happy being a Costco executive member.

Love this place. I usually frequent the Costco on South Airport Blvd, but ever since this one opened up, it is not only closer to me, but theres never really a long line. They dont have the free samples but they have have bulkier/whole sale stuff. If youre into throwing parties, this is the Costco for you. They have everything from party utensils, pizza boxes, garbage cans, and a freezer filled with meats and other cold items.

Since its pretty new, it was empty. Plenty of the regular stuff with enough for restaurants and offices to run efficiently. The layout of the warehouse is enjoyable even. They dont carry any alcohol, to my knowledge, or clothes. At least i dont remember seeing any in the 15 mins I had to look around. They open and close early, Monday thru Saturday. Closed on Sunday. Not bad for all the other perks. Im shopping at this Costco from now on!!

Very organize. Today 4-4-2020, light rain around 2PM. Parking lot was not full. Wait in line for 15 minutes. Most people have face mask, gloves, 6 feet distance. All the non halal chicken was gone. Only Halal chicken leg quarter left. Plenty of eggs, but 2 doz package was all gone. Milk, soymilk were there. Lots of vege. Plenty of cheese and Deli. Only boneless pork shoulder and a few belly. Not much rice. No toilet paper. Plenty of beans. You will find most of the goods you want. If you enjoy junk food, you will get all you want but most people dont buy them.On my way back home, pass another Costco and saw long line. I am glad business center is not design for general public.

As of the time of the review, the place was still relatively newly-opened. As such, not many shoppers, so plenty of parking. There is a small food court serving the typical Costco fare. There is no gas station. The selection inside overlaps that of the regular Costco, but with portions geared more towards the need of its clientele (if you need a drum of olive oil, you know where to go). One thing to note is that you wont find the regular Costcos monthly savings at this location, even for the same goods.

Great alternative to the normal Costco. The products here are more geared toward a commercial style. You can even purchase commercial appliances and equipment here. The cold storage is huge here and you can find all kinds of meats, cheese, milk and other refrigerated goods. To top it off, there are snack options galore. But dont expect to find normal Costco items such as TVs, clothes, or medicines.

70% Business 30% regular costco stuff. Easy parking. Food court is outdoors. Isles are large. New, so there are a few quirks. It is very close to my home and go there often. Business means selling things by the pallet or 25 lb bag. Whole dressed pigs etc. It is cleaner than the other stores.

The Costco Business Center is similar on some respects to a normal Costco warehouse, but offers a number of retail and restaurant-oriented supplies and produce that make it worthwhile for a separate trip for those items. Key differences include having more restaurant-grade cookware, utensils, takeaway containers, and silverware, janitorial cleaning and back-office bulk supplies, fresh produce such as specialty bulk peppers and fresh herbs, a much broader selection of bulk and deli meat cuts, more frozen foods, a wider variety of spices and condiments in bulk, much more snacking food and drink variety (usually portioned sized), and individually packaged personal hygiene items (think hotel-stay-sized packages). What it gives up vs the regular Costco is a fresh bakery and prepared food section, the famous rotisserie chicken, and sundries: seasonal items, electronics, books, clothing and consumer goods, the variety of personal health items, and specialty small-batch foods (e.g. higher quality cheeses, prepared foods such as roasts or risotto, etc.). This Business Center is fairly well centered as a regular Costco is within 10 mins drive away. Overall, if you already visit a regular Costco on a normal basis, Id recommend adding visits to this Business Center, but on a less frequent basis, as there are excellent prices to be had on items you just cant get at a regular Costco

This is a business Costco which means there arent any clothes there arent a lot of pre-cooked meals and as far as vegetables and fruits they are very limited. There are a lot of things for businesses to make meals with and sell. This is the place where all the little 7-Elevens and ampm get their stuff. Also some restaurants may get some of their cooking utensils from them. I like it because I live really close by and they have fresh eggs milk yogurt cheese meat bread tortillas and much much more.

I miss some of the offerings at the regular Costcos, i.e. rotisserie chicken, clothing, gasoline, etc., but I love never having more than one person ahead of me in line and often parking a mere 5 stalls away from the entrance. This Costco is located east of the 101 freeway, in the old Levitz Furniture location on Dubuque,over in the industrial side of So. S.F. but not way out on Oyster Point, like Genentech. It was strange to not see many customers both times I went. They do have lots of employees walking around pushing huge flat-bed carts equipped with tall flags so you can see them over the tops of the aisles (Like the flags you sometimes see on a car to help locate it in a huge parking lot.) I think they were pulling orders for deliveries to businesses, it seemed. Anyway. I went in to buy the Northern Tissue that was advertized, but they were out. (Other Cotcos dont even carry Northern Tissue any more at all) so, I returned another day when they got their shipment and bought it, plus some other things. It is not like other Costcos, and I did not notice if they had a big (perishable) grocery section, but I did not see any free food samples either, so they DO carry some groceries at this location, with an emphasis on candy, snacks & beverage type of foods that wont spoil. Also, no Gas at this location either, but very short lines and good service.

They provide coats on one of the entrance to the refrigerator for meats, cheeses, fruits and vegetables.
