Strongly recommend the Cosmo Alleycats! We were introduced to them when we attended a wedding where they performed, and when it came time for our own wedding, we knew just where to turn. Emily was easy to work with and helped arrange a stripped down beautiful cover of a favorite song for our first dance. She offered great insight into how to structure the evening and break up the schedule to keep our guests entertained. They were flexible when they showed up and the space at the venue wasnt exactly what they were expecting. And of course, the whole band was talented and amazing. I think it speaks volumes when the site coordinator at our venue took down the contact info for Cosmo Alleycats for his own personal reference because he was so impressed.

We adore the Cosmo Alleycats and were so happy that they were able to perform for our wedding. They introduced us to such a timeless and beautiful selection of music as well as incorporating any requests we had. Andrews solo piano performance for the ceremony was wonderful, their jazz trio did an amazing Bossa Nova for our cocktail hour, and the whole band blew away our guests with dinner and dancing music. We received countless compliments from guests including requests for set lists.Logistically, Emily was so great to work with. She was super helpful in sending us a clip of their version of our first dance selection so we could practice at home. Their website is also very well designed with an extensive list of their repertoire that no other band comes close to offering. Definitely go with the Cosmo Alleycats if theyre available for your date!

I cant say enough about Emily and her amazing band the Cosmo Alleycats. They performed at our wedding and boy can I just say they were fantastic. Everyone at the wedding was enjoying their music and their presence. They complimented the ambient and elevated our wedding experience. Most importantly, Emily was so professional when it came to communication and finalizing the details. Do not hesitate even for a minute to request them for your next special gathering.

The Cosmo Alleycats played at our wedding and were simply amazing! Emily was so easy to work from our planning calls to her care-free demeanor at our wedding and helped keep the timeline of our wedding running smoothly! They were recommended to us by our venue and we are so happy we chose them. Emily has the most beautiful, yet unique voice and the band played fun-to-dance-to songs! Our family and friends kept saying how good they were and everyone was enjoying the party dancing! The band learned our first dance and father-daughter dance songs and played a recording for our mother-son dance from an old Indian show for my now-husband. My dad got tears in his eyes when they played St Louis Blues that his dad used to play. So happy we had them at our wedding!

The Cosmo Alleycats played at our wedding in June 2021, and couldnt have been more amazing. I cant recommend them highly enough! We had three different combos for the different parts of our wedding, including a keyboard for our ceremony, a trio for the cocktail hour, and the full band for our reception. Although the full band, with its wonderful range of songs and all the amazing musicians, was our favorite part, the ceremony and cocktail hour were perfect as well. Emily was wonderful to work with, and was also kind enough to act as our MC, introducing us and helping keep things moving smoothly. The music itself was great; the band did a wonderful job getting everyone dancing, and the range and mix of music was so much fun. They made an already wonderful day even more special for us. Hire them!

We loved working with the Cosmo Alleycats. They were incredibly flexible and reasonable in their pricing. We had multiple staged set ups at our venue, for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, and they were able to accommodate it all. They also learned some new songs for us to dance to which was a bonus. At the end of the night, everyone was wishing they could have played longer - if only our wedding had been planned for that! We had a great time working with them and would recommend them to anyone who wants to have a unique, jazz swing style band that also has a diverse set (for example, they did 20 minutes of Jewish klezmer music for us by request). We couldnt have chosen better!

The Cosmo Alleycats did an AMAZING job for our wedding, it was such a special day, and would not have been the same without this great band! I would give them a million stars! Every musician in the band is so outstanding and gave a stellar performance the entire night, but besides that their stage presence, musical selections, communication with us/organization and dependability, lighting, the pacing and musical flow through the evening, everything was perfect and far exceeded our expectations in every way! This band absolutely does it right, they are one of the best bands Ive ever heard and we were amazed that they were available for our date, and that the price was in our budget. We couldnt believe how lucky we were to have found them.We were looking for a 5-7 piece jazz, swing, dance band and saw some bands online we wanted to hear live. We went to Local Edition in SF to hear a band that sounded great online. When we got there the band was so dull, they were not exciting or into it, and no one was dancing. We were so disappointed and thought we would never find the right band, if this is what is out there. The waitress was kind enough to tell us to come back on Tuesday because there is a GREAT band called the Cosmo Alleycats that has a huge following and lots of dancers. We came back to hear them and sure enough were blown away by their performance, Emily has the most amazing voice, on par with Ella Fitzgerald, and Noam is an absolute genius keyboard player/arranger and adds a lot by having another great voice to add to the band. The drums, bass, trumpet, and clarinet/sax fill out the sound and dynamics beautifully, everything is tight, in tune, and the perfect vibe and sound. They have a sound engineer to check balance, projection, so everything sounds exactly right. They are dressed super classy in vests/suits and have a great rapport with the audience. People were dancing and having a great time. When we spoke to the band they are the nicest, friendliest people and again we were blown away that they were actually available to play our wedding and we didnt have to mortgage our house to hire them.When I went online and saw their repertoire list I thought ok there is absolutely no other choice than this band, they can really do anything and as good as it gets in quality. Again, we were amazed they were available and were sure to book them a year in advance because we knew we wanted them. The wedding was a huge success in large part to the band, they even played special arrangements for us for our first dance, and also performed it live a week before for us, so we could record it and practice dancing to it.This band is a gem in the Bay Area and we hope to continue to see them play live any time we can. Our wedding guests cant stop telling us how good the band was and what top level musicians they are, not just people that play music as a hobby or on the side, they are amazingly talented and life-dedicated musical professionals and put an amazing amount of energy into what they do, and they do this full time. I am a professional classical musician and so were many of my guests and they all agreed the band was amazing and had so many compliments for them. It was an absolute honor to have them play for us. We hope to book them again for our future anniversary or other party.

Simply put, the Cosmo Alley Cats, with the superbly gifted Emily Day at the helm, brought down the house at our wedding reception a month back. A trio performed beautifully during the cocktail hour, and the full band presided over dinner and dancing. People young and old were on their feet, and absolutely delighted by the musical selections, the talent, the joy, the FUN! Countless guests came up to us to ask us the bands name and to share their rave reviews. Emilys flawless (and scarily glamorous) stage presence was, lucky for us, matched by her utter professionalism coordinating the event. In the months leading up to the function, Emily ably handled our questions, big and small, and was a stress-buster instead of a stress-booster. (Which, frankly, simply cannot be said for all wedding vendors.) We look forward to seeing the Cosmo Alley Cats around town! Thanks to Emily et al.

The Cosmo Alleycats played at our farewell brunch reception, the day after our wedding, in July 2017. They were fantastic! Many of the guests raved about their music, and my husband and I loved every minute of it. They bring such a fun and positive energy to the place, and we got to do some swing dancing to their tunes. They kept the party going, with many guests dancing after brunch! Emily is very professional and responsive via email, and the band was very easy to work with. Would highly recommend them.

We hired the Cosmo Alleycats for our wedding August 2016. I can’t emphasize WHAT a good decision that was. They are an incredibly talented bunch and I can’t tell you how many compliments we’ve had from guests on how much fun their performance was.The lead singer, Emily Day, has an amazing voice and is an incredible performer. Noam Eisen is fantastic -- both musically and to work with. Noam provided piano music for our reception, and helped us think through set list options both for the ceremony and reception. In addition, we had a last-minute bait-and-switch related to where the band could set up at our venue, and he handled that situation with incredible professionalism and calm. We knew we didn’t have to worry about the logistics for the band -- they totally had it covered. Their wealth of experience playing at many weddings before was very helpful to us in planning our own. Also, they were incredibly generous in recording multiple versions of our first dance song for us to review before the big day. We also had a fairly traditional Jewish wedding, and they had a great selection of hora tunes. The energy for the horas was incredible. We had a mix of vintage, swing and traditional Jewish music that worked perfectly for our guests.Huge thank you to the Cosmo Alleycats for making our wedding so much fun. If you’re reading this and considering booking them, I can’t recommend them enough.
