The Cory Home Team was absolutely the best real estate agency I could’ve ever asked for! From our amazing service with our agent, Mario, to the amazing white glove team that connected us with all of our utilities, all the way to the team that arranged our FREE moving truck for FIVE DAYS!! There isn’t a real estate company that I’d recommend over the Cory Home Team! I’ve already connected our closest friends with Mario and his coworkers at the Cory Home team for their future home buying experience!The free moving truck was also the most unexpected and amazing bonus of the team! We were able to use the truck for no charge for 5 days and moved our entire home in that time!

When we were informed of the moving truck, my husband and I were unsure if we would need it since we were moving from a “small” studio. But thanks to this truck we were able to move in one go! This truck is big and fit all our furniture, clothes, and more. The photo included wasn’t even half of our things and somehow it all made it in. It also came with dollies, covers, and it has a ramp that extends out. Getting to use this truck was just the cherry on top to our home buying journey. Shout out to Diana who helped coordinate this and was available to answer our questions! And shout out to Sam Farzinkhou who helped us with our home purchase and made the use of this truck even possible!! I highly recommend this team!

I recently purchased a home through eXp Realty and had the pleasure of working with Diana for the moving process specifically with the truck. Diana was incredibly accommodating and easy to communicate with, making the moving experience seamless and stress-free. One of the standout benefits offered by eXp Realty is lifetime access to their moving trucks, which I found immensely valuable. The free moving truck was in excellent condition and made my move much more manageable. However, I noticed that the truck only provides a view of the back when reversing and lacks rear view mirror access while driving. Headline - If you are offered the privilege of working with Melissa, don’t hesitate. Just do it right now!As we decided to sell our unit, we setup interviews with the top three area agents by sales. After meeting the first two, we were already deciding which of them to select. They were both principles of their own agency with solid experience and great ideas. We had one interview left, but she was just someone “assigned” to us from Cory’s agency.Melissa walked in and BLEW us away. She confidently stated the exact steps we were going to take through repairs right up to the open-house date. She recommended the lowest investments in improvements and the highest opening sales price. She was Nostradamus with her detail timeline that tracked exactly as she predicted. She put a lockbox on the door that very day so her repair people could provide estimates, which they did almost immediately.We lived a fair distance from the unit being sold, so Melissa acted as our eyes and ears through the whole process, going so far as to meet vendors on our behalf. She even picked up mail for us.From the day we met Melissa, to the CLOSE of escrow was 80 days! This included officially selecting her, haul away, cleaning, full paint, flooring, numerous repairs, Zillow posting with virtual staging, open house, buyer counter offers and escrow. Stephanie works hard to make things happen for you and she’ll always keep communicating with you. Our experience since the beginning has been great. Stephanie since the beginning was friendly and was ready to show properties. It didn’t matter that I didn’t have a pre-approval, she wasn’t afraid to show property without the pre-approval which is hard to come by. Realtors wouldn’t even talk to me without it. It is rare to find people like Stephanie bc although I didn’t have the pre-approval she told me from the beginning that it could change depending on what they pre-approve me for (which you should know an estimate depending on your credit, savings, and debt). I like that she’s confident and told me straight from the start that my options in properties could change depending on the pre-approval. When Stephanie got to know us, she showed us property that she thought best fit our lifestyle and personalities. It was a blessing that the first property, was actually the one we bought! Five stars to Jason Sams who worked effortlessly to get our loan approved. Unfortunately the realtor was unable for phone calls and communication was mostly by Tex messages. Once we closed on our new home, we received a phone call from Annie with instructions on how to get the keys. Once we got into the house, we found it dirty and the repairs not done. Tyler Bernetskie under promised and over delivered! I’ve been looking for several months trying out agent, after agent with no luck. Every single agent assured me that they had off market properties, supposedly properties you couldn’t find anywhere online. Sure enough every home they showed me had over 100 saves on Zillow. The worst experience I could possibly imagine for my family as FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS. Blake was very knowledgeable and did what it took for us to get where we need to be to buy a home I will say that. I think he was too busy to be as on the ball as he should of been when it came to looking for a house. I knew houses went so quick where we were looking and I eende up finding the house and scheduling a appointment to see it. We ended up finding a house that we put an offer on and went through the process. Blake set us up with HIS recommended inspector who we thought we could trust. Looking back we were so naive trusting someone we didnt really know. He did NOT do his job. Having lived here for 2 years multiple things he said were one thing were not. ONE MONTH after being moved into our home we find mold in the kitchen. As first time home owners and a young married couple we had no idea what we were in for. We called our insurance company who came out and said they knew by the amount of mold it was a pre existing condition and they could not help us. Black and green mold surrounding our entire kitchen. I called Blake shaking as I was newly pregnant and had a 2 year old. He sent us a company he had that would tell us legally what steps to take. Every single realtor I have talked to since (there have been a lot because I did extensive research after this) said that HE should of contacted the sellers agent immediately and had this resolved. Instead....we were left to hunt down the sellers...take them to small claims court, which by the time that even happened I was nine months pregnant! We did not have the money to fix this after just buying our first home. Thankfully we had someone step in and pay for it and we reimbursed once we won our case. Come to find out the sellers had a water claim on the house within 5 years of selling and did not disclose this which by law you have to. Why didnt our agent catch this? Isnt there a report that pulls that information? (Yes there is.) Why didnt our inspector who was so reputable according to Blake catch any of this? This was the absolute worst experience and my short paragraph here is just the tip of the iceberg of what we went through. The only positive I have is being able to share our experience with friends and family when they go into purchasing a home. I do not wish this experience on anyone. Blake should of fought for us and went the extra mile as our realtor or just a human being with a conscience. All we were was a sale and he was out.

I personally found a few houses for sale last year and contacted zillow who passed me through to Blake Corys agent Keith Wheeler. Absolutely no prep work was done, Keith worked basically like an Uber service who asked annoying questions to the sellers side wasting valuable time.After seeing two properties I cut the day short to save my sanity, and continued my search on my own in the coming weeks. Eventually, I wanted to make an offer on one of the original properties that I found, one that Keith drove me to, so I contacted Keith and let him know that I would be doing so and did not require his assistance. I could not stand working with him in any capacity as he was at best a detriment to the closing process.I proceeded to make my own offer and during closing Keith came back into the picture wanting a cut from the seller! Even after escalating this to Blake Cory and eXp senior management (the parent corporation), Keith continued to make a play for free dollars and the seller was forced to negotiate a flat fee payment to him.Stay away from this company, they are unethical, unprepared, and unskilled! We just closed escrow Tuesday on a nightmare transaction with Nate Bunnel from the Blake Cory Home team and, even though we paid this seller $405,000 for his house and should have been moved in Saturday night the seller is refusing to move out until his replacement property closes at the end of the month, apparently with Nate’s blessing. Horrible experience. Very unprofessional staff. These people have consistently tried to threaten myself and my husband into working with their company as our buyers agent on a property they have listed. They have been extremely unprofessional in their demeanor and their communication. After putting in an offer it took weeks for our agent to get a response from the listing agent. The worst part is I feel they are negligently representing their sellers. Please do yourself a favor and avoid at all cost.

Nathaniel Bunnell is a dishonest person, we bought a house that he was selling and we closed on May 18, 2021 and in the contract it said that they should leave the house on May 22. On Friday, May 21, he sent an email saying that his client was not going to vacate the house until June 7, and that there was nothing we could do. Please think twice before doing business with Nathaniel.
