I just received the Corbin seat I ordered online for my vintage BMW Canyon Twin. The seat comfort, fit, and quality exceeded expectation, and I didn’t have to sacrifice my original seat pan or ride eight hours to Hollister for a custom fit. Literally, I went from total misery to the perfect height and fit. The pan is Corbins own design. Initially, I was worried upon first glance, that it wouldn’t fit properly. Christopher K patiently provided tips that made for a solid installation. It has made all the difference between riding two miles or two thousand.

Best service hands down its the motorcycle version of having a custom tailored suit made while you wait. They even have a café where you can watch your bike while you eat. So far I have had them make 2 seats 4 back rests and 2 tour pack pads and all of them are excellent

Hello social media friends and family. I’m sharing my story here as Corbin has refused to respond to my emails requests to speak to a supervisor/manager as well refused to return my calls when I was sent to a supervisor Voicemail and left a message. This whole experience with Corbin has been nothing short of disappointing, frustrating and so aggravating. Not only am I a return customer, I am also active duty military and a member of the motorcycle community. I spent over $1100 on a custom seat for my Indian Springfield Dark Horse. I called and placed my order over the phone. I was excited to get and install my new seat when it arrived, however my excitement quickly faded. What I received surprised me. Not only did I receive a seat that was damaged (stitching popped open), it also didn’t go on as easy as I expected. I called customer support and they weren’t much help. I also ran into an issue as I have a custom sissy bar, so while the ripped seat eventually got on, the sissy bar wouldn’t fit with it. When I sent a message to customer service they requested a picture of my bike, which I sent and received a very short “our seats don’t work with custom sissy bars”. Nothing else, I was shocked. I reached out immediately as the person on the phone with me never mentioned anything about not working with custom sissy bars nor asked me any question, just took my order. I asked about exchanging it for the Widowmaker seat as that backend was more narrow and would work with my customer sissy bar, to which I received a very short and callus “no exchanges or refunds”. Ever since I sent a very reasonable request to speak with someone to find a resolution that might work with / for all parties, and I have been ignored, transferred, sent to Voicemail with @corbin having zero intention of working with me. So now I have an $1100 custom seat that came damaged that I have no use for.Sharing a warning to all in my community to NOT buy from Corbin unless you want to receive damaged products, and want to experience a customer service nightmare!!!

Their customer service is ridiculously bad. Long story short, I just needed the tracking number for my seat. It’s a simple thing. Their CSR Andrew literally made up pointless lies repeatedly to avoid opening an email and reading me a tracking number. He must be that Corbin guy’s kid or something because he does the exact opposite of what his job is and they still have him working there. If you need something from them and he picks up ask for someone else.

Be aware that they do not care what the hardware underneath looks like, they will send you a seat missing rivets and with ripped leather, then refuse to fix it without charging you.They dont care if theres a wrinkle in the leather from improper manufacturing.I paid $478 for a seat that looks awful.They also charge $50 for freight shipping even though the package could be sent UPS for $7.My seat was missing rivets and all they offered was to mail me a rivet. So they sell you an item that needs repaired within weeks of installation, and they will charge you again for shipping to fix the problem they themselves caused.DO NOT ORDER THESE SEATS

I love my new seat. Just got home with it yesterday. It still needs to be broken in but it is already better than the factory seat. The only thing that would have been better is if they communicated with me a little more. It took me going up to the counter and ask them when do I get to pick out what I want. Finally got help with that. I got to meet Mr. Corbin and he was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a seat made. Also the food at the Cafe was really good.

Bought a new seat from them, it looks good however it is completely useless as it wont actually attach to my bike without metal on paint body rub and cannot latch. They will not help with the situation. A complete waste of money

Just got back from our fist ride with our new dual touring saddle it was as the most comfortable ride we have ever had not only fit rider but for passenger to. Definitely a worth while investment. Will be recommending it to friends and other riders. 👍👍👍👍All the way from Sydney Australia.

It is actually astonishing that I have to write this review. Today I was berated over the phone by Christopher Keohane. My husband and I were careful with our order, sending photos to the Corbin team, multiple phone calls etc to ensure that the passenger seat would match or come close to matching the color. Unfortunately, when the passenger seat arrive it wasnt even remotely close. We, of course, called to return the seat or, at the least, have a new seat sent out. Corbin, hung up on us, or emailed us no refunds. That is absolutely ridiculous. Flash forward to today, the final attempt to be made whole, and we were shell-shocked at the unprofessionalism by Mr. Keohane. He accused us of sending different photos, lying to the customer rep when placing the order. All of which are untrue. All we wanted was to be made whole. We paid almost $400 for seat that is brown when the photo of the front seat sent is clearly tan.

One of the Techs scratched the rear fender of my beautiful red bagger. Showed pictures of it not there b4 but still they would not own up to their mistake. Instead they called me a United States Marine a liar. Semper fi means always faithful. Corbin i guess supports terrorism and not the troops.

After two years of owning and riding my Honda CB1100, and having had the horrible factory seat re-done by a local guy who did a beautiful job re-shaping and re-covering it, to be only marginally more comfortable than it was originally, I broke down in a moment of insomnia and ordered a custom saddle from Corbin.I went on line and selected the gunfighter saddle with leather seating surfaces, vinyl side panels, tomato red welt to match the tank color, and silver stitching to reflect the side covers.The next day I was contacted by Marty Coots of Corbin to confirm my selections. As it turns out, lack of sleep and the wee hours of the morning arent conducive to ordering a custom motorcycle saddle on line! Thanks to Marty contacting me, we corrected the errors I made the night before.THANK YOU MARTY!The saddle arrived about two weeks later, and with the simple addition of a few flat washers used as shims to get the loop thats provided with the seat to engage the seat latch on the bike, it fits and looks terrific.After a few hundred miles in the new saddle, I can confidently say Im extremely pleased with the service from Corbin, and the quality, comfort and LOOK of the seat on my bike.****I want to make it clear that the guy who re-did the factory seat did very high quality work, with high grade materials, exactly as I asked him to. It looks great! It just turned out to be no more comfortable on long rides than the factory saddle.***

I went to Corbin to get new front and rear seats for my 2011 Hayabusa, but got SO MUCH MORE!! Jesus, the wizard, worked with me to create the custom seats for my Busa while I had a tasty breakfast (with great service!) at the diner (SUPER COOL INSIDE!) and then had the opportunity to walk through the factory and see all the magic in action (HOLY SMOKES ITS HUGE!!). I even got to meet the man himself, Mike Corbin, who invited me walk with him (WHAT?!?) and visit their R&D room where a variety of brand new motorcycles sat as prototype seats were created for each one!! Ive lived less than 30 miles away for over 30 years and always thought Corbin would be the place to go for a new seat, but now I think of it as a place Ill regularly visit while out on a ride, especially since its just off Highway 25, one of my most favorite rides of all in the area!! THANKS CORBIN!!

Seat with quality materials, Very poorly designed seat structure which does not compare to the original.After-sales service rots, they are Roys and Masters, do not want to take over the seat to make the corrections.I paid full price for a seat that is not 100% functional and refuses to compensate me with a compensatory amount.The only offer is a refund so I lose about half of what I paid.All this after tens of emails and explanatory videos.I read a lot of comments about their poor after sales service and poor designs, now I understand.I would never do business with this company again.In my case my bike is a Yamaha Super Ténéré 2018

If I could give zero stars I would. I have ordered many Corbin seats and had referred many people to Corbin. Corbin USED TO make custom well made excellent fitting seats. Now they will ship anything out, my last purchase from them was for a dual tour seat for Harley Davidson touring with heat. The bottom of the seat pan is completely warped, to make it fit Corbin techs sanded away the fiberglass on one side exposing the foam and leaving approximately 20% of the basepan on one side removed. The bottom of the seat pan touches and rubs on the ECU. The rubber bumpers are splayed out 45degrees as the basepan is 1 below the rubber bumpers where it bows in the middle.Initial phone call with Janell, all seems good after long hold times, they say email pics and they will reply. I send email pics, no reply email, no call back after 1week. I call and was told that customer service emailed me stating they could not open pictures. I advised I received no communication, email or phone, Danielle stated Janell no longer there (they both sound the same on phone). Danielle requested more pics, I sent pics, no reply email or call back from Danielle 5days, I call and get same story that need more pics. I send more pics,no reply call or email 3days, I call wait on hold 40mins, talk to Danielle she says wrinkled leather is not covered and they will only cover basepan replacement if I send pics of seat on the bike. I ask for manager. I hold for 20mins, was told female manger w(would not provide name) would call me right back.no call back in 4 days. I sent an email asking for management to call me asked if they care or would like to make it right. No email or call, this has gone on for one month.I have reccomended Corbin seats and have used their seats and have spent over $6k on seats with Corbin through out my life (7 bikes). Wow, this is how they treat their loyal repeat customers. I will never hesitate to share this story and all the greif over this last purchase. I Just threw away $780 on a seat that pushes down on the bikes ECU, is warped, has a mix aligned stitch, and has wrinkles as I used it for 1month before realizing how bad the bottom is warped and the wear marks on the ECU and seatpan. I did notice that the bottom was warped and thought it looked poor, but it fit and the twist in the basepan settled once the rear seat screw was fastened. I noticed the damage and wear when I removed the seat to disconnect the battery during servicing the bike.. With how I am being treated, I dont think the outcome would have been different. The seat has a one year warranty, the seat was ordered in June 2017, delivered late July 2017, it is now March 2018, I work long hours and did not have the time to chase this until this month, still during the warranty period..It is apparent that Corbin doesnt honor its warranty. This review is fair and unbiased, I was rooked..

Word of warning to any future customers. After paying 600$ for a custom saddle for my bike, I was really excited to get it put on and start riding. Throughout the order process, communication was basically non-existent. Emails with basic concerns would go unanswered for multiple days. Phone calls were non-helpful. I thought “oh well they must be short staffed.” Fast forward over a month, the saddle shows up. There are gaps large enough to stick my finger through. The seat design is markably different than the online pictures. The seat changed my riding position a ton. And worst of all, the seat is so uncomfortable that I can’t ride my bike for more than a half hour before I can’t take the pain anymore. I called and requested a return as I felt I had wasted 600$ on a hunk of leather. I was basically met with “we have your money now so tough luck” which was echoed in several forums when I went looking for their buried return policy. These people are crooks. Do your research before you do any business with them. The only way you should do business with them is if you live close enough to their physical location that you can check on and test sit your seat multiple times throughout the manufacturing process, otherwise you’re just blindly trusting people who have proven they don’t deserve it.

This company cannot be trusted. I purchased a custom seat for my 2009 Honda. Paid $723.00 I ordered an orange stitching and orange logo. The seat came as described, but after about two weeks all my stitching is now white. I called and spoke to multiple customer service reps. including Marty Coots sent email to [email protected] and Janel at [email protected]. Both promised me to address the issue. This is an ongoing issue that has not been addressed. This company should be out of business for not staying behind their product. Such a shame. Waste of money.

Crooked Seat. They said the seat being crooked is craftsmanship and refused to fix it. No quality control. Customer service representative said that seats are hand made and not perfect. See the picts its far from perfect. Riders complain that their back starts to hurt. Several phone calls and the head customer service said if I sent it in they would just send it back. They did follow the order instruction on color sticking and panel side color. I was told to get a black marker and color the stitching myself. Have Saddleman and Mustang seats on other bikes and no issues with a return or quality.

From Vernon, BC, Canada to Corbin. I showed up to be first in line at 6:45am. I was the last to leave just before 7pm. Julio did my seat and it was a difficult one. 2006 Vmax. Extended the base....removed the backrest socket from the seat and carved and carved and carved. I had to be satisfied before Julio looked happy. Rare quality to find in a business today. I heard Corbin is the best and after dealing with this company, I have to agree. The seat was used to go from Corbin to Chicago and up into Ontario. Traveled north into cottage country and across Canada to Vernon, BC.The seat broke in nicely around 1500 miles. The seat maintains its shape in the heat and if properly sculpted stays comfy all day long. I highly recommend Corbin and their seats. You have to have a factory install. There is no other way.

Ill never use any other seat again. Ive used stock seats, Mustang seats on a VTX, but nothing comes close to these seats in comfort. Well worth the $360 just for a Grom. Thats 10% sticker price (of the bike) in a seat and worth every penny. It was worth every penny for the comfort. Then you get to customize everything about the seat. Color, stitching, etc.

Ive bought half a dozen Corbin seats for Harleys over the years. Their quality is always excellent. But what I appreciate about them the most is their willingness to give me their opinion about how a particular seat will look with a particular Harley. So many places are afraid to give you an opinion, but not the reps at the Corbin factory. Theyve helped me with decisions before and just today, one of those reps, and I wish I remembered her name, helped me choose something as minor as the color of the stitching on a Solo seat. It was a small detail, but I wanted the seat to match the paint job on the bike, which is kinda custom (see pic), and she was very willing to give me her opinion. Sometimes the small things matter the most.

Great people. Great product. Did a ride-in appointment, which let us get the seat contours tailored to us exactly. Also, the physical material colors/finishes can differ from their on-screen appearance, so this way we could make sure our selections were exactly what we desired. When I bought my latest BMW motorcycle I wanted to upgrade the saddle. I had gone to a different saddle/seat maker that I wasn’t satisfied with before. I had heard from friends how great Corbin seats were so. I looked into them. They offer ride is service and a flat fee. When. I was told there was just one charge for a seat regardless of what you wanted done I was skeptical but it was true. Except for some exotic leathers you get your choice of several types and colors of leather for that price. You can have a different leather for the sides, the seat and the beading. They supply there own seat pan and they guarantee the fit. While I there I sent it back once to change the padding. There was a customer there that had ridden his for several months and wanted some changes made in the padding, all done for No extra charge. While I was there I had then upholster the passengers pad at a nominal extra charge. There is even a cafe attached to the shop so you can get a bite to eat while you wait. I highly recommend Corbins.

Theres several after-market choices for replacement motorcycles seats, but, if you want THE BEST, look no further than Corbin Saddles. Better yet, if youre within riding distance of their Hollister, CA factory (directly across the street from the Hollister airport), then do yourself a HUGE favor,and head over there for their custom ride in treatment, where theyll custom makes the seats while you wait.

I didnt know Corbin offered a service to custom build a seat. When I found out I accepted a ride in appointment. Rebecca the receptionist is lovely, friendly and efficient. I arrived just after 8:00am, there were still 2 bikes ahead of me. The Cafe was own and the coffee was free, hanging out with other bikers and touring the small show room and the big manufacturing area easily filled the time between taking test rides on my seat. I took 3 rides and the seat was adjusted after each one to get it to the perfect shape, size and position for me. I could pick the materials and colors. It was a really fun experience. Everyone should get a custom seat on their bike. The cost was the same as buying the seat online, but a while ton more fun and satisfying

Steer clear from this company.I ordered a LOW heated seat for my new Harley Pan America based on their advertising that it would give me another 1/2 inch lower than the Harley Reach seat. Although I dont need the 1/2 inch it would have been nice since I am short. That turns out to be incorrect and their seat is at least half an inch taller. The advertising is deceptive. Although they offered to adjust it to shave it off that would require removing a whole inch of padding and in that case I might as well be sitting on the metal directly.Their customer service on this is extremely bad. I especially enjoyed being told how it was my fault because I was too short with my bike that I have been riding in all sorts of hellish terrain for a month.To add to the problems their seat configurator does an inadequate job of explaining the nature of certain coverings so its easy to get a seat that, as mine was, grips so strong it will tear your pants off.Bad descriptions, bad customer service result in a $650 paper weight in my garage.

One of the best experiences Ive had honestly!! The customer service is through the roof... Had full custom seat done for my haey bagger couldnt be happier got everything I wanted... Getting a full tour and watching the entire process of your seating being made is really cool. Plan to spend the day of you are fully designing a seat mine took roughly 8 hours but I was picky making changes etc and with that said not one time did they have a issue with it the gentleman said this is my job I love it get your seat exactly how you want it!! It can be an expensive addition to the bike but you get what you pay for I wanted to do this for years and years I wish I would have done it sooner!!!

They have a nice cafe where you can grab a bite while you wait. The folks there are super nice. And the seat? Magnificent. It is like riding a new bike. I couldnt be happier.

I ordered a seat for delivery to my post office box. When it was ready I received a call from Corbin who said they could deliver it to a post office box, but it would cost me another $45.00.Because I am often away from home for extended periods of time I use a post office box so that mail doesnt accumulate at my residence. So... the Corbin employee said it would arrive on a particular day and I arranged things so that I was at home that day.The seat did not arrive. It was delayed in shipping.I departed home and did not return for some weeks. Indications from the emails that I received are that the package languished in a UPS Store awaiting me to come pick it up. I wasnt around to do that.Today I received a call from Corbin that the package, which they assured me would arrive when I was home, had finally been returned to them after waiting for a month in a UPS Store. Shall we ship it out to you? I told them no, I wanted a refund.After a few minutes on hold the young lady told me they would refund my money minus a 20% restocking fee.Lessons learned....1. If youre gonna order from Corbin youd better be home.2. If you use a PO Box, pay the $45 extra charge. Its cheaper than their restocking fee.3. Learning from 1 and 2, dont order from Corbin again.I wasnt, and am not, satisfied, and I will not be ordering from them again.

One of the best retail experiences Ive had. I ordered a seat for my yellow Dyna, and Tyler there sent me some demos of what my seat could look like. He sent different color stitching ideas, leather ideas. He has a very good way with envisioning how the seat would look, and ultimately trusted his opinion. I made the payment and had my seat at the end of week 4. Im in Virginia. Considering they use FedEx (which I hate), I couldnt believe it. Super comfortable and looks incredible. Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!

Dont forget your original seat, since they will not remind you and dont take off even if they say, go ahead, well call you. I ended up waiting two hours extra waiting for them to call me and never did, on top of that they lost my paperwork, which is why they never called. I did the ride in service and had to go back another time for a free adjustment. The adjustment was great and done quickly by Julio. Many experts like Julio have great experience at Corbin; I really trust their work and price is excellent for a custom seat. Triumph Explorer 1200/Tiger: The Corbin design is great, but the seat will be like the stock seat high position, or even higher.

Dont bother. I ordered and paid over $600 for a seat. I called multiple times, emailed multiple times. No reply. I finally did a chargeback and within a week got a call saying that my seat was ready, asking if I still wanted it. I told them my concerns of no replies, etc. No apology, no customer service, just do you still want the seat? Highly recommend staying away from them at this point. All they want is your money.

The ride in for a custom seat was a great experience. The folks working there were friendly and helpful. I was great to see that the seats are hand made and able to change the curvature of the seat before the final product was realized. It was also neat to dig through the leather, drape it over my Victory to view color schemes, hand it to them and say this is what I want my seat made with. Overall the seat is awesome, comfortable and looks great!

HORRIBLE customer service! Do not do business with this company. Mike Corbin should be down right embarrassed with the level of service being provided. They simply do not stand by their work.I purchased a customized seat from this company in May 2017 and upon receiving the seat, noticed they used the wrong material on the sides (I ordered black-colored sides and the seat I was sent had gray sides). My order confirmation confirmed I did, in fact, order a seat with black sides.After 3 email attempts on my part without a response from Corbin, I finally received a response from Christopher beating around the bush and not offering to rectify the situation. A customer paying over $400 should expect that if a seller makes a mistake, theyll offer to correct the issue. NOPE!After vague responses, including one insinuating they didnt mess up my order (even though I attached pictures of my gray seat and provided my order # confirming I ordered black sides) Christopher said they could initiate a return and re-cover the seat.Ok, great, so Ill be able to get what I originally ordered and paid for. Im writing this review to express my complete and utter disappointment and dissatisfaction with Corbin as a custom seat client. In my experience, Corbins client communication is horrible and needs immediate attention. I will update this review if and when I ever receive my seat.I have owned several Corbin seats over the years for my BMW and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. They have always performed flawlessly, offering excellent comfort, wear, and style. So I decided to take the plunge and order a custom seat. At a total of $820 for a solo saddle, my expectations were understandably high.On 14 June, 2019 I called Corbin sales to place my order. My rep was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She walked me through the customizing system and I opted to place my order online later that day after mulling over color options. On the call, my rep let me know that the current lead time was 4-5 weeks from the order date and that my credit card would be billed just prior to production.After waiting 5 weeks, I emailed Marty Coots for a status, as he was the one that confirmed my original order. Marty emailed me back the next day to let me know that they had been trying to process my card without success. In the email Marty said, Im sorry for the inconvenience but once the payment info is sorted we can ship out ASAP, leading me to believe that my seat was ready to ship.I did as Marty recommended and called to straighten out my credit card information. On that July 19th call I was also told that my seat would ship as soon as my credit card payment processed. My credit card was billed the following day.Yesterday, July 24th, I called multiple times and could not get through to sales or support. Ring, ring, ring... so sorry, leave us a message.Today, one week after I last spoke to sales, I still dont have a seat, nor do I have notification of shipment, so I called again. This time I was informed that my seat has not been built and that production is delayed until late next week, 7 full weeks after I placed my order. As you might imagine, I was a little put off by this news.Corbin has managed to turn what should have been a great experience for me into a horrible experience. Their total lack of a good customer communication process makes me want to call back and cancel my order and give it to a company that gives a darn.The week before last I ordered a tee shirt for $27 and got multiple communications letting me know it was on back-order, then in production, and finally shipped. If a tee shirt company can do this, Corbin, so can you!To Corbin management: You guys need to up your game, because what you have going on is ridiculous. Good communication with your customers isnt difficult, you just need to decide that we matter. We shouldnt have to chase after you for information.

Wish I would have read reviews prior to purchasing. I had to return my seat once because it didnt arrive as ordered. The stitching pattern was not as I had requested. After waiting around nearly a month for corrections and re-shipping, the seat arrived a second time with the incorrect color stitching.I expressed my disappointment. Their suggestion was to use a marker to color the thread how I wanted it. Or for me to send it back so they can color it in with a marker, because thats what they usually do. Ive read other reviews expressing customers stitching color bleeding onto their jeans or simply fading over time, so be warned.Corbin, your customers arent spending hundreds, or in some cases, thousands of dollars for you to send them DIY projects. Please pay more attention, improve your quality, or charge a more appropriate amount for what youre selling.

Went in for their ride-in service to purchase a new seat. All I can say is excellent service. If you can do the ride in, that will guarantee that you will get the best fitting seat. They were very patient and helpful in making sure that the seat was fitting perfectly. Theyre called wizards for a reason. Stock seat on my 2018 Goldwing I could only handle about an hour in the seat before having to get off and stretch. Since getting the new seat from Corbin, that limitation is gone!

Excellent product but terrible customer service. My 2013 Burgman 400 is like a different bike with my Corbin seat, and I am stunned by how comfortable it is now. I used to be good for, maybe, 200 miles before I had to dismount in pain, but Ive ridden 350 mile days and dismounted only because I had arrived. I suspect I could do 500 mile days on this seat if I really wanted.Unfortunately, the customer service is truly dreadful, so I feel fortunate that the seat arrived without my needing to contact Corbin again. I tried to contact them three times (twice before my order and once after) with questions and they never even bothered returning my calls or emails.When I ordered my saddle online, I immediately received a return email confirming all the details of my order, which were correct. However, two days later, I received a telephone call from a live person at Corbin to confirm my order again, and she had it screwed up! (How does this possibly happen?) I straightened her out and confirmed the corrected order. BTW, the website has a feature where you can inquire about the status of your order while you wait. They ignore that, too, so dont even bother.Would I use them again? Absolutely, because the seat is so well made and comfortable, and theres nothing else really like it. But I wouldnt even attempt to try to talk to them. Im tired of being ignored.BTW, their website says that their Burgman 400 seat only fits 2007-2012 models, but its wrong. It will fit that model from 2007 through 2016. I tried to tell them that but (of course) they ignored me.

I order a new seat for my Harley with the understanding that it would be delivered in 3-4 weeks as they said it would be and also thru a confirmation email they sent me. My bike was being shipped cross country for the start of a 2 week 3000 mile trip. it was my sole purpose for ordering a comfortable seat and having it for this trip. So, lots of calls later, being put on hold and forgotten about and having to call back again and again is the norm here. I was also told 4 different time frames from 4 different employees including the manager who didnt return my call but sent be a pacifying email that said we tell everyone 3-4 but it really takes 5-6 weeks. Why would they do that? Maybe just to get the order? I own 2 successful business I know that customer service and providing truthful accurate information is so essential today to have continued growth, a good repution and review. It is surely severely lacking here. The seat took just over 6 1/2 weeks to get. Lets hope the seat is what they claim it is?

OK all.... listen up. This review specifically relates to Corbins replacement seat for the Indian FTR 1200. If you are taller than 6 DO NOT BUY THIS SEAT, unless sitting on the faux tank is your thing (Im 63). The angle of the seat pushes you forward HARD. So much so that if partially sitting on the tank is not bad enough, my wrists hurt after a 90 min ride because of the forward pressure. Engine braking and normalbraking makes me slide forward. Such a bummer because 1) Corbin is an excellent company and 2) I really wanted this seat for longer haul rides. The stock seat will be going back on. They should have discussed this on their product page. 3 stars because they didnt, and I guarantee they knew this.UPDATE!!!!! Corbin contacted me and as part of the warranty offers 1 round of modifications to the seat! How awesome is that. Ill change this back to 5 stars when that happens....nice job Corbin

This is for corbins future customers. If you get the seats the way you wanted and no issues, great. But if you have to contact them in anyways, their customer service is non-existent. They dont answer e-mails. Their phone is always busy because they dont answer e-mails.I did speak to one guy, super helpful. He suggested that I cut into my mounting bracket, grind down their latch. Maybe hes not smart enough to figure out that they might have installed the wrong latch on my seats. He also said that theyve been making the same size latch for all of their seats, so if it doesnt fit, youll have to modify it.Corbin wont read this, any company with good customer service will take their time and rectify their mistakes and responds to reviews.Take your money to a company that deserves it more.

I brought my 08 Road King Classic in for the Drive In Service. The technician, or more appropriately artisan, showed me the seat I was interested in, but suggested one for the 09-16 model years. The pan required significant alteration and customization to fit. All this was done on the fly! I now have a one-of-a-kind saddle that fits and feels excellent! Well worth the money!

What a great place to have your motorcycle seat custom built. I did a walk-in, called on Thursday, walked in on Friday. I arrived at 9:30. By 10 the seat pan was fitted to the bike, and I was instructed to drive around to see how it fit. I gave feedback, then 1 hour later and 3 more adjustment rides they had fit the seat to my body. I picked out the leather and stitching, then left. I came back 3 hours later and my seat was done. That was 3 weeks ago. The seat is breaking in perfectly and sooooo much better than the original Triump Thruxton RS seat. Very happy. Will post picture later.

Ive taken both of my motorcycles here in the past for drive-in seat builds and was incredibly happy with the results both times.I recently asked them to do a custom job on the seat pans for my Sprinter van which are awful. None of the aftermarket options seemed good, or were super expensive. And I wasted money buying the replacement from Mercedes, which was great for about a month.. Then, I thought... I bet Corbin can do this..It took a little bit to convince them to take the job, but Im really looking forward to the results and being comfortable over the long haul. Ordered a seat for my Harley sportster, they sent it with the wrong tab for the bike and when I called they proceeded to try and mansplain how I wasnt putting it on right. 4 calls later they sent a new tab, but the seat still doesnt fit. Ive sent emails, tried calling, went through their whole troubleshooting process and have yet to hear anything. $700 seat and, of course, no returns, so Im stuck with a seat I cant use. Bad customer service in a number of ways. I got the wrong covering the first time because the guy I placed the order with by phone didnt know his own product. Got the right covering the second time but the seat wont fit my bike because I have luggage racks - which fit with my OEM seat with plenty of clearance. The sad thing is the extra material on the Corbin seat serves no structural purpose - its entirely unnecessary.I called and asked to speak with a tech - put on interminable hold. Finally hit * to leave a message. Message box full. Called back and put through again - on hold again about 10 minutes before someone picked up, offered to take my number and have a tech call me in 30 minutes - she wanted to know what bike I have and what the problem is to pass it on - which she didnt.Five hours later I get a call back and the guy asks me to hold because hes got another call. He gets back on the line but his mic is acting up and I cant hear him and I ask him to speak up. I explain the situation again and his suggestion is to remove the rivets, grind down the seat pan to acomodate the racks and re-rivet the cover back on. I told him I didnt want to do that, that I didnt want to mess up a $400 seat. He said when he first started with Corbin his boss handed him a seat and a Dremel tool and told him to figure it out.I asked him if he just told me to figure it out and he said he could tell me my ultimatums, (I think he meant options), but, yes, it was up to me to make it fit and he added this clever little life lesson, that its a custom seat and a lot of times when you buy custom stuff you have to make changes to it or to other stuff to make it work. When I asked why this was not disclosed on the web site he stated that it says in a number of places on the site that these are custom seats.For $400 for a seat, I expect it to fit in the same footprint as the OEM pan and, if it does not, that should be disclosed. Take all the liberties you want with every other dimension but it should fit the same way as the OEM seat does so you dont have to carve up the seat or take off the racks to make it fit.Anyone want to buy a Corbin saddle for an XR650L - never used and cheap. Never again.

The have a nice large cafe right inside the building where you can wait in comfort while they finish your seat. The whole process took about 6 hour. Well worth it for a custom seat.

Spend your money elsewhere. The saddle quality has gone way downhill. The customer service is even worse. The saddle I received was incredibly hard, and never broke in, even after 15000 miles on it. The leather that they used, is incredibly thin, to the point that I wonder how long this saddle is truly going to last. I have been dealing with Corbin to try to schedule a pickup under warranty, and they require you to sit at home all day, to wait on fedex to pick the saddle up. They will not allow you to take it to a FedEx location to drop it off. I refuse to take a day off work just to be able to have my saddle picked up, for Corbin to repair under warranty. Beware, there are much better companies out there to make the saddle for your bike.

They tried to help, but the fact is, they dont have a refund policy, and what they did didnt magically solve the issue. Everything that could go wrong with the saddle fitting well did. Not only the front seat but the back seat as well. Worst experience I have ever had shopping for motorcycle related stuff, stay far away. I paid close to $800 Canadian to have a Corbin Classic Solo shipped to my home in Alberta. The seat came just over 2 weeks ago and had a rip in the leather. I called and emailed and left several voicemails for the reps to call me back and no return calls or emails. I finally got a hold of the service manager Jessica and she informed me they would repair the blemish but I would need to pay the shipping back to Corbin. Worst customer service I have dealt with in 25 years of motorcycling.I have owned several Corbin saddles over the years, so when my wife said she wanted one for her own bike, I bought another without hesitation.What a complete mistake. Arrived out of the box with damage to the covering material (sharp base pan had torn through the side wall of the seat). Refused warranty. Tried emailing Corbin direct with no response from them. Australian import agent (VPW) had no response either. Extremely poor customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone. If they were an Australian company I would have raised a case against them with the consumer protection ombudsman. I would have used an alternative manufacturer such as Saddlemen or Sargent but unfortunately they didn’t cater for my model bike (as it’s a bit older). Took a chance, got burned. Ordered a Seat from BMC Corbin for a 2018 Softail Lowrider. They send a 2018 Streetbob, doesnt fit and also the rear of the seat color is off, too and sides look great. Sent it back and ask for only the Rear color to be changed to black. Finally get the next seat after weeks of waiting to find they switched the rear and the sides to black. Bought a custom Vespa ET4 saddle about 8 years ago. Stitching started coming out on the main seam and the leather started cracking in the sun. I liked the look of the design and the initial craftsmanship looked good. Customer service at corbin sucks big time! the bags look good but that is where it ends the fit and finish is crap, the paint actually fell off in chunks on one set and the replacement bag they sent had the mount holes a half inch out. Stay away from these people!

Good luck if youd like to get any information from them. Ive called over a dozen times with no answer, left voicemails, and probably half a dozen emails. NOT A PEEP from anyone there. Corbin, you lost a sale, and I would warn anyone against dealing with them. Youre better off finding a local shop that will earn your money, because Corbin very clearly believes theyre too good for it.

I get confirmation email from them where there was a billing address in Miami Beach,FL and shipping address in Chicago, IL and they sent package in Miami Beach, FL. When I call them they always transfer call to some number where nobody answered and I always leave voicemail but nobody call me back. So, I have to pay additionally fee (double more what I pay them) in order to have my seats where is my bike, in Chicago IL. Thank you Corbin for giving a F.... for your customers.

Worst customer service I ever experienced. No review of product because I never got it. They dont answer the phone, dont return calls, voice mailbox full, dont respond to emails and dont follow up on promises. Even sales manager Jessica in California office wont return a call.
