I have no words for this place first I went to Firestone tires and they told me I needed to leave my car since 8am to 4pm so I was searching for a place that could help me I needed to be at work at 9am and I found this place the lady that answered the phone was very nice I went to the place and the guy was very nice but the other best thing is that there is a coffee shop there they sell breakfast and coffee I got a latte the best and the egg on my bagel was delicious also in the coffee shop they have a cat she so cute as I was sitting down to eat my delicious food my car was ready I got to work at 9:10am thank you for taking care of me I know each company fallows procedures but I also know that we can always be kind and help the person in need I live in Huntington Beach and I needed to be safe to drive back after work thank you thank you I forgot to mention my problem I had a flat tired :)

Went to get my 2001 chevy suburban service for my brakes. First time being here and the customer service is phenomenal. I chose Conover Tires due to the high number of positive reviews. I can see why now, all the staff is great. The shuttle service was a plus, the driver a joy to talk too. They also found an additional issue and bundled the pricing saving me some money, I appreciate that immensely. I will definitely be back if the need arises or to get a chicken pesto sandwich from the Cafe they have.

My service from Conover Tires and Wheels left me feeling happy as a clam at high tide.The people there are very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable.I needed a four wheel alignment before going on a trip, and they scheduled me in and got it done that day. We discussed my TPSM (tire pressure sensing mechanism) and Ill be back for that service.As a first time customer, I was treated to a free sandwich. So, while I waited I had a delicious Tuna Melt at the cafe in the same building. The Cafe is very clean and comfortable, and it has a nice selection of sandwiches and other items. Inside and outside seating with a bonus beautiful garden. The service was great.I recommend Connover without reservation.

My most trust worthy mechanics are here! We’ve been coming here for over 10 years. The peace of mind we have in leaving our cars is worth a 25 min drive for us. It’s an extremely nice family owned business. I like to stay ahead on my car’s maintenance and they always let me know what future work I need to budget for. Clean environment with a cute lounge area and café attached to it. Their prices are more than reasonable. Love this place.

My minivan blew a tire on the way down to San Diego and we had no spare. Other tire places in Oceanside were either closed or had long waits for service, but fortunately I happened upon the good reviews of Conover Tires. Luke answered my phone call and immediately put in an order for the right-sized tire that arrived before our AAA guy brought us over with our vehicle in tow. It was the cleanest auto repair garage Id ever seen. Luke invited us to wait in the cafe which connected directly to the auto shop. The cafe had a large flatscreen TV tuned to the sports channel, and the hot sandwiches they served were delicious. The restroom was clean and nicely decorated too. I wish every auto shop had a cafe like this connected to it. The 45 minute wait went by fast. Best of all, it turned out the tire job cost less than what Luke originally quoted to me over the phone. If I lived in Oceanside I would make this my regular auto shop. Luke and company helped to turn a stressful road trip into a pleasant experience. Highly recommend these guys.

From the moment I called, last minute, and walked into their shop, I was impressed by the cleanliness and inviting atmosphere. Conover respects their customers time and needs, they got me in and out in less than an hour for a tire alignment. The mechanics are knowledgeable and transparent. I had an amazing experience at Conover. I’m new to CA and was scared when I knew my car needed looked at. Unsure of where to go my co worker suggested Conover and my experience was excellent. They were giving me constant updates and being transparent in each call. They went above and beyond to test out my vehicle and make sure they did all they could. I will absolutely be going there with any issues I hope to not have in the future but if I do… that’s the place. Great people!

I mistakenly went to a different shop due to Google Maps and my stressful day. I was quite frustrated when I realized that the store I ended up at wasn’t the one I intended to visit, which was Conover. When I got to Conover to ask for a second opinion, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The man checked my tire and answered all my questions thoroughly. Love to go there from now.

I came in to have my windshield wiper sprayer repaired if possibleMy appointment was at 8 o’clock. I was greeted professionallyI was in the deli area, waiting for about an hour, and it was told my car was ready. They were able to fix it without a problem, and it only took a half an hour of their work time even though I was there an hour the only charge me a half an hour which was awesome. Shows they’re not trying to Pay their bills with my little service.Well, I was in the deli waiting. I ordered their avocado toast, which is awesomely good. And. I will be back to the deli just to have their food not necessarily To have service on my car.I took a couple of business cards and have already passed them out to my neighbors, telling them to go to Conover for their service.

Best auto repair place you can find in Oceanside!I damaged my metal shield (under my car) while driving through a flood in one of the worst rainy weather conditions. I couldnt remove the metal shield, so it was half stuck and hanging under my car, and I had to drive around with the metal hanging out the bottom. It was extremely scary as I thought I would get into an accident. It made a chalk-screech sound as I drove, scraping the metal against the ground. Being relatively new to San Diego, a friend recommended this repair shop, and said this repair shop has great reviews and trustworthy. Initially skeptical, I visited and was assisted by William, who provided exceptional service. First-time customers receive a free breakfast sandwich from the attached cafe, a pleasant surprise with a complimentary cat by your side while you wait for them to service your car. William was honest about the necessary repairs, avoiding the upsell tactics often encountered elsewhere. The pricing was extremely reasonable, and it took them 20 minutes to service my car. Super happy with this place and their service. Will definitely be back! And William deserves a raise for the best customer service!

We have been getting our vehicles serviced here for a few years now and have no complaints. In all honestly, it is always nerve-racking to me finding a new mechanic, we can trust, when we move. They will explain what is going on w the vehicle and truly be honest. They also, have a wonderful driver who can pick you up or take you back home. I live on base so this is extremely helpful. I highly recommend taking your vehicle or vehicles to them.

I unfortunately had a terrible experience with the owners son Luke. I was dealing with my fathers death at the same time as my vehicle was being serviced. My head was in a fog. I told him how my vehicle was not running well. Because it wasnt constant they said the mechanic might need a couple of days to access the issue. So I left it. I never got a phone call on any updates. I had to call several times. I told Luke my vehicle already had a fuel injection service and my fuel sensor fixed previously. I was going here for a 2nd opinion. Since the mechanic William couldnt find anything wrong. The owner Daniel suggested to look at the spark plugs and getting and induction service .This is the 1st time I heard of this service. I said ok lets try that. Im trusting themI go to pick my car. My bill was $632.10Unbelievable labor charges of 354.00 for 1.97 hrs. Im looking at the ATM machine. Im questioning the charges. Luke sarcastically says to me. WHAT DID YOU THINK IT WAS GOING TO BE $6.32? I said no. But I didnt think it was going to be that amount. I was shocked. I was humiliated. I was feeling just another automotive shop I cant trust. I m just bummed by the lukes attitude. I was referred to here by my church leader. Just beware ladies when you take your car in. BE WARNED DONT HAVE YOUR HEAD IN A FOG. ASK ASK ASK HOW MUCH!

I was broken down in Carlsbad on a Saturday morning. My friends in the area recommended Conover, that they’ve been using them forever and were totally trustworthy as an unfamiliar mechanic to me.They were super helpful, communicative, and professional. They fixed everything even a couple smaller issues I didn’t know about. Very thorough quality workmanship.No Mickey Mousing or shortcuts.I ended up having them put 4 new tires on as well. I live an hour north on the freeway but I’m a new Conover customer. With 3 little kids on board I need my vehicle in top working order. Thanks guys. Perfect timing to find you too. I remembered a friend referred me to Conover, we use to eat breakfast at the cafe next door (good food and service) so for peace of mind, we took her car in to have it checked. I had such an amazing experience at Conover Tires Wheels and Service. Everyone was so nice and even spoke with the owner, Daniel, himself. They really careabout every customer that walks in. I took my car in for an oil change and also for their special of car wash, vacuum, and engine wash. Since I didn’t have an appointment, I just dropped my car off and they were able to get it done and I picked up my car at the end of the day.They also have the cutest cafe Nextdoor that you can get some work done while waiting for your vehicle. They offered a free shuttle service which really helped my situation. The driver, Domingo, was the sweetest and the most down to earth man I have ever talked to. He reminded me of my very own grandfather. He definitely made the whole experience so much better. I am so happy with my choice in choosing Conover as our mechanic and will be using them in the future as well as recommending them to any friends.

I am a small business owner and understand the importance of Yelp reviews. I researched a repair shop for a brake job for my wifes car and Conovers had great reviews, with special notes about their honesty and professionalism. I decided to give them a try and contacted them via their online reservation system. The next day I received back a confirmation of the appointment time I had selected. Upon entering the office, we were greeted by someone at the front desk who was extremely helpful. As a first time customer, we were also given a token to use at the deli next door for a free sandwich. We left the care and were told that they would inspect the brakes and call with what they found. I received a call about an hour later that in fact we did need the rear brakes serviced, but that the front brakes were in great shape. I was given a price to do the job and was asked if we wanted to proceed. I agreed and was told that the vehicle would be ready in a couple of hours. Just about 2 hours later I received a call stating that the car was done and that, if needed, they could send someone to pick me up. I opted for the pickup and someone was at my home in about 30 minutes. I had a pleasant conversation with the driver on the way back to the office where the vehicle was parked outside and ready. I quickly paid and had a short conversation with Dan.In the end, the overall experience was simple, easy and professional. Communication was fantastic and what I was told would happen, did happen. Its that simple. The little touches of the free sandwich and conversations are small things, but those that stick in your mind. I will definitely be coming back to Conovers for service in the future as they provide a professional service.

I used to only go to this place for maintenance when I lived locally, but I stopped going just before the pandemic, when I moved down into the city of San Diego. I recently returned, because I remember the service being so nice and being able to wait at the café, so I was looking forward to my oil change appointment on Saturday. I scheduled the appointment online and received a confirmation of appointment made. When I arrived, I was informed that they do not honor appointments on Saturdays and I would not be able to be serviced until end of day. I am extremely dissatisfied that I drove up and wasted my time. I feel it is disrespectful towards customer’s time, and I’m not sure why I was even allowed to make an appointment on Saturday.

Where to begin! What a mechanic and cafe! Dan was so very kind, patient and helpful. He told me after my car was fixed it would drive like butter and he was right! I was so impressed with all the pictures they took to explain what I needed fixed. My car needed some major repairs and it was in and out of the shop within a day. This was my first time using Conover Tires and because of that I got a free breakfast at their adorable Cafe. It was so yummy and I even had an almond milk latte. My tacoma needed an alignment after having a full suspension lift kit installed. They found some minor issues that were likely left over from the last service that was performed at another shop. They are friendly and want to help. Many things that the big chain companies like Firestone and Discount tires wont do, Conover will. Not to say they would allow an unsafe vehicle to leave their shop, but the left and right lateral limits of what they can reasonably do safely are wider than those of larger companies.They also have a small eatery and a nice waiting room if you must wait.Great local place. Very helpful staff.That said, if it can be done at a chain you may pay less, so if I could subtract just 1/2 star I would, because if it was not for Conover wheel and tire, what I wanted to get done would have been an impossibility.Update: I came in early for an oil change and rotation as I have fractured my ankle and crawling around under the truck would be a pain. Found out about this shop because my dad has taken his car here to be worked on and recommended it to me. Made an appointment to get the alignment on my Mini checked out. Brought it in staff were super friendly and got it taken in right away even though I was a little early for my appointment. Went next door to the cafe and had a delicious sandwich and was able to hangout there while my car was getting worked on. Turned out that the alignment was off and they corrected it for me and gave me a free cookie from the cafe as I was leaving. Car was done in under an hour and they showed me and sent me a copy of my alignment specifications. This family owned and operated auto shop has everything you need to repair your vehicle. There is also a great deli, very comfortable waiting room and friendly and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend Conover’s and have to many friends and family.

We have been loyal customers since 2010 and our experience over the past 24 hours has strengthened our commitment to them. About a week ago our 2008 Honda Odyssey had a dead battery, we had purchased it at AutoZone 3 years ago so we went back and they replaced it for free since it was still under warranty. A week later the battery was dead again and also the AC was acting up. I called the Hoehn Honda dealership and gave them the symptoms. They promptly told me they would have to run a diagnostic test costing $115 (which would go towards any repairs). After picking up my husband he called Conover tires and told them the same symptoms and they quickly replied that it sounded like a typical problem that Hondas have with their AC clutch relay and can look at it first thing in the morning at no cost. With that information my husband googled the location of the relay and purchased the relay for $6 and replaced the bad one, charged the battery and called it a night. The next morning the van started right up with no problems, but to be sure he took it to Conovers anyways to get it checked out and see if there were any problems with the AC or battery. They hooked up all their gauges and ran their tests and after about 30 minutes they told him all the tests came back good. He asked how much it cost was and they said it was free! What Honda would have charged probably $200 - $300, cost my husband $6 and 30 min worth of time thanks to Conover tires.I recommend if you have any vehicle issues give Conovers a call first. They dont do just tires and they really care about the customer.

Dan and Luke run a honest and professional shop Ive brought several of my vehicles here to be worked on throughout the years as well as a few friends and coworkers every one is always happy with there service and have had good things to say about Conover automotive I would highly recommend them for all your automotive repair needs there is also a nice little cafe to get something to eat or drink while you wait these guys are top notch

Conovers has s great little cafe in the corner of the bldg which serves wonderful bagle sandwiches while your vehicle is being worked on there. Or like us, just drop in for a bite and free wifi. Family friendly folks.
