When I arrived, it seemed like the front desk staff did not want to be there. Very blunt and assertive when asking me to fill out things or come up to the counter. My wait time was not bad, about 45 minutes. The staff is what made this a 2 star review.

Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. It did not take long to be seen even though I was a walk-in. Overall the staff was great, the process was quick and the experience was awesome. Highly recommend this location.

Everything went fast and easy. The online registration made the check in convenient. The staffs were lovely and kind. Nurses were gentle and knowledgeable. The doctor was friendly and careful. The facility was decent and overall it was a pleasant experience.:)))

Poor time management.It takes the Doctor over 1 hour to attend you even with appointment. If you schedule at 10:00, you will still be waiting at 11:00 to be seen by the doctor. Nobody seems to value patient’s time. And once the doctor sends you out, they make you wait over 20 minutes to give you your next appointment. Not sure who’s in control, but it definitely lacks appropriate management.

Doctor Sunday was awesome- but the staff was lacking on professionalism. Meaning- I would have an open door conversation about why I am there before the doctor arrives. As hipaa door should be closed for patients privacy. When doctor Sunday wasn’t available the other doctors I would wait 45-70 mins in the room- have a 5 minute conversation without a physical examination. I felt my care wasn’t taken serious- but Dr. Sunday ensured I was valued and heard.

Id give a zero if it was a choice. The Doctor is horrible. He talked over me, showed no concern about my spinal fracture, and the constant pain its causing me. He insisted that I focus on what I can do instead of what I cant do, even after I TRIED to explain to him that I cant do anything for any length of time without causing me pain, which is constant, and can be extreme depending on what Im doing. He had the audacity to interrupt me and say to me YOURE NOT LISTENING TO ME. FOCUS ON WHAT YOU CAN DO. To which I replied Youre not listening to me. I CANNOT do anything without pain! You cant tell me what my pain level is.Basically the visit consisted of him telling me my name, my age, and that I have a fracture of my L2 spinal bone. ALL OF WHICH THE LAST DR. TOLD ME! I didnt need a spine specialist for that.I ended the visit by telling him I dont like him and I want a different Doctor.

The worker up front, her name starts with an M, something like Maribel, made my experience amazing. She was so helpful and she didn’t seem bothered at all by my multiple questions. It was my first time at Concentra and it definitely won’t be my last because of her.

Wish there was negative star options. The nurse dark skin with curly hairy guy unnecessary showed interest in me. Although he was not my assigned nurse he seemed to have interest knowing my every move. Name informed was Adams. First I was told his name is Michael. My assigned nurse was very friendly n professional in his responsibilities. But that guy is one of those who thinks they just have to be above all even patients. Im not happy at all very unprofessional ppl are hired in Irvine. I LL say avoid the Irvine clinic

All in all it was OK. I went to there Irvine office because it was close to Newport. I had to take a tuberculosis test. Then they told me I needed to get it checked between 48 and 72 hours I said that’s OK I’ll be back on Saturday. He said we are not open on Saturday or Sunday. I would need to go to the Anaheim office and only on Saturday because they’re closed on Sunday so I had about a three hour window to get my test checked, I did. I showed up 10 minutes early had to wait those 10 minutes and then my time in line started, so I had a 40 minute drive and was there a good half an hour for what should’ve taken two minutes. All the Urgent cares I go to our seven days a week and open from 7 AM till 7 PM.

I was sent to a specialist at the Irvine office. I made a wrong turn which resulted in me being almost 30 minutes late for my appt 😬 I was afraid I would be waiting for hours . Not at all ! They got me in before I had even finished filling out my paperwork ! The Dr was very “to the point “ which I prefer . He listened to me, looked at all my tests etc and together we developed a care plan .

Honda and the rest of the PT are amazing. The exercises have helped me to improve the movement of my shoulder significantly in a minimum amount of time. Also, the staff is outgoing and understanding and tries to do anything to accommodate to the patients need and availability.

This place is good at getting you in an out quickly. I only had one issue where I called to see if I could pick up my TB Skin Test results because I took it earlier that day & was told I could. I drove there only for someone else to tell me the doctor doesn’t sign them off til the end of the day after they close so I had to get it the next day. I don’t mind that system but I was kind of annoyed that I ultimately drove there for no reason.

Staff is nice. The nurse that assisted me on my first day was friendly. I had told him I had an MRI, I gave him the info, he told me he called and they never answered. I took it upon myself to make the call and I got a hold of someone and was able to request a copy of my MRI instantly and had it sent to Concentra. The nurse said he never got an answer, but I was able to get everything done on my own. To me that sounds like there wasn’t much of a follow up on the nurse’s end. Which makes me wonder if that would have been done after u would have left the office. I was greeted by the PT that day as well and she was very nice. I thought she would be my PT, however the facility had more than one PT available. They rotate assisting each other. One thing I noticed about that facility where the PT’s were, they seem to guide you well when you begin your exercises, however some do not make sure you are doing it correctly throughout the process, they are busy inputting info into their mobile laptops. At this time, where there is an injury, the PT’s should be mindful of the way the patient is doing the exercise and NOT re-injuring themselves. Some patience do not truly understand the exercises or understand the muscle which they should be focusing on to strengthen and require reminding or guidance as they do the PT. They are a friendly staff and work well with each other, however, the focus on the patients is lacking.

I had a terrible experience at this particular clinic. When I entered the exam room for the nurse to take a hair sample for my drug test. I was very concerned with the nurse who was taking my hair sample. She didn’t section my hair properly. I had to ask her if I could assist with sectioning my hair and when she took the hair sample. She took an excessive amount of hair that was needed for the test. When the medical doctor came into the room and I explained what happened, she justified my concerns and feelings of the situation. She then called in the Director of Operations to share my experience and the Director also validated my concerns and feelings. The staff was very apologetic but this was a terrible experience and very unprofessional. I do not recommend this clinic

I received a list of places from my employer to select a Worker’s Comp place for assistance. After calling a few, I liked the way they assisted me, so I made an appointment. I thank God for guiding me here! The staff, the doctor’s, and the Physical Therapists are a great team! I feel confident I’m receiving the help I need for my recovery. First, it took 3 hours to complete a simple blood draw, drug screen, and physical. Second, they reported to my company that my urine sample was never received (like what did you guys do with it?) so I had went to do a repeat test elsewhere only to get a call from the lab a couple days later to verify the results of the the test they reportedly lost… go do your preemployment screening elsewhere if given the option so you don’t waste valuable time.

I arrived before they opened and was the first present to have a urine drug test and physical done. They tell you to come ready to provide a urine sample so around 30 min later of still waiting, I asked if I could do my drug test soon. “Unfortunately, no. We need to submit your information in a system and print forms.” No info was provided on how much longer I’d be waiting, which already seemed a bit excessive as the first and only person waiting to be seen. Once I was brought back, the experience was quick and the staff were pleasant which is why I still rated this a 4, however they could certainly improve.

It was a really good place. First time I went in I had to get my flu vaccine and drug test and the lady at front desk was really nice. I had to come back a few days later to do my TB spot test and the older lady was kind of rude but she seemed like she wasn’t having a good day. But still it was a little annoying to me cause regardless you should still have good customer service cause I’ve been a receptionist for years. And also there was a lot of people there too. They should let people know how many people are ahead of you and how long it will approximately take too. They did a pretty good job doing that with some other people but didn’t let me know which I didn’t understand that. I had to keep asking cause I’m just that person. Lol but both nurses I got that dealt with me did an AWESOME job! Overall though experience was good! That’s why I gave an 8 rating. Thank you for your service and putting yourselves on the front line to help those in need of assistance!!!!!

I was sent to the facility for random drug and alcohol test . Another company employee also was sent at the same time . We checked in at the same time . He waited an hour for the test . I waited 2 hours . It was only after a conversation with the manager and a call to my employer that I was tested . The DOT test stipulates a time line to give a sample . If can’t you are in violation. I asked to the sample and was told that I had to wait and do the breathalyzer test first. Due to physiological needs I could not wait another several hours . I would suggest that if you cannot accommodate the appointment in a timely matter don’t accept it .. I will note that the employees were courteous and professional.

Very bad experience having an appointment 10:45am and 11:40 and the staff without checking the patient list stops you to ask what happened with your appointment and they tell you Im sorry the doctor has already left another thing waiting for your role from the doctor another Very bad service from the reception staff and they tell you that you have to go to another office so that the doctor can look at you while you have already lost gas time and more than anything your trust in them 🙁 and no one from the staff knows what happened

Waiting time is very long and some equipment is not working and after long wait, finished test, then after 1 day got call we have log in issue, you need to come back and redoing, then I got there and wait, then said: the system has isaue and has still wait, then fyer half hour, told me, come for test, then supposed to b3 same day result, but they told the result may ready next weekc that cause a lot of issue for me and delay for Start date . I was a walk in. Although the wait was about an hour, the lady at the front desk told me up front, which I appreciated. Safety precautions were being upheld, chairs were placed atleast 6ft apart, everyone was wearing a mask. When I was called in, the process was explained to me and I was in and out in just a few minutes. I had to come back a couple days later and I was there for less than 10 minutes. The staff were nice, friendly and professional.

Terrible lack of respect by the Doctor I saw on the past two visits to this location. I spent over 1 hour waiting in the room for the second time in a row. I wish I knew his name. I do know it wasn’t Dr Sunday who was a very sweet, kind and respectful Doctor. I was very angry and stormed out after telling him what I thought of lack of respect for my time.

The staff was friendly, it was a bit of a lengthy wait, probably due to short staff..There was hardly enough seating for the people that were in the waiting room and I could tell that the the staff was a little perturbed at management because....well they told me. Also while waiting in the waiting room I could hear the manager speaking to a new employee and discussing how and how not to do certain things at work and said this all in front of everybody in the waiting room. I could feel that the employee was a little embarrassed by this. All in all it was a pretty good experience I just feel that the staff might have been a little overworked and we as the customer get to pay the price for that.

Took my son to get a mandatory physical for employment. We got here at 7:45 am, after being told they do not have appointments, he was the first one in the door. They took 6 people before him, and finally gave him paperwork at 8:40. When confronted about this, the girl behind the desk said she has to take appointment people first. Wait... they told me they dont have appointments!? I asked for the Manager, Troy came out and told me it would be another hour for the physical. So in total 4 hours and we were the first in line. The girl behind the counter should be and hopefully will be fired. Good hard working people need jobs, this girl is not any where near being a good quality employee!!! I give them 1 star for Troys late efforts.

DO NOT GO HERE!.I have read all complaints in this review section and still made it to this place. It is really sad the way their staff treats people. They work as if you are not paying for services and they are doing you a favor. They made me come with the idea that I would be getting help with my pain just to turn me away and sit 45 minutes just to tell me that they cannot take me in because the waiting time would be two hours. The lady gave me the option to wait or that she would call another urgent care for me to go in another city. The place was empty with one guy sitting outside their waiting room and that was it. When I arrived to the other place the waiting time was the same the lady told me she could not believe they turn me away. I hope they get to enjoy their drinks after work just how their front door staff was talking about while sick people wait x2, while veterans and hard working citizens are driving somewhere else to get the help they so much advertise. I have visited this same location a number of times for the same reason; although the Service has improved, it has ways to go. For example, waiting times still have not improved regardless of when You come or whether You have an appointment or not. The other thing which is even more obnoxious and annoying is to hear the Females working the Front Desk talk about what They have done over the Weekend, the parties Theyve attended and the Cute Guys They Conquered or been with. I wouldnt care or mind any of that, except that They are talking about it and their conversations can be heard beyond their Front Desk enclosure and that is unprofessional, tacky and doesnt look or hear good. Dont make people wait around so much, speed up your checking-in and verification processes, ask the Females to limit their personal conversations for their breaks or lunch not for when there are Customers or Patients waiting to be seen and things may be better!

I went for a work physical, bloodwork, and drug test and they took forever. I was there first thing at 8 and left at almost 11. The MA who did my blood work was fishing for my vein even though my veins were showing. I still have a blood bruise. I’m not sure if this office needs more staff. The only positive thing I can say is the front desk was very friendly and knew what they were doing.

Went right at opening so I could get my testing done and get on with my move. No one else was there and I got checked in right away but spent about 10 minutes sitting in the waiting room fo no reason I could discern while front office staff chit chatted about stupid stuff. That was minorly irritating. Then the nurse/MA called me back. I was a little grouchy and also not super excited to be doing a drug screen for a new job but he was SO sweet and chatty he put me right at ease and I walked out feeling much better.Of course, as I walked out I said goodbye and thank you to the front office staff who were still chitchatting about their personal lives. They made eye contact but ignored me completely.We are only as good as our first and last impressions.Front office seemed like typical annoying, not-customer-service-oriented office staff.MA was a great people person and I’d hire him in my office in a heartbeat.Also the place was clean and the process was smooth not sketchy. That’s not always the case with these testing centers. All in all a good experience.

The Concentra on Morse Avenue, Irvine CA, had a very rude doctors-aid that made my experience very bad. I did not felt treated for, and all I was there for was a short physical and TB test for a new job. He did not talk to me nicely when I asked him questions, and he seemed angry or fed-up for some reason. I also had a very strange experience on the phone with them prior to going there, in which the receptionist told me I could make an appointment with them; but when I got there, I was not posted on the appointment list at all.The experience there was just kind of strange in general and took way longer than I expected even though it was not busy.The Concentra in Santa Ana CA was much better (hence the extra star). The service was quick (all I had to do there was get the TB read and there was no wait) and the people working there were nice. The aid there was infinitely more helpful and friendly. I live in Irvine, but I would drive the extra time if it meant never interfacing the mean aid at the Irvine location ever again.

This visit in Nov 2018 was good, wait time was acceptable, staff were professional and overall process good.The level of cleanliness of the facility was very much improved since last November when I was very unhappy about the level of cleanliness. I had reported to my office that I considered writing my initials in the dust on some areas (blood pressure gages etc.) of the treatment room I was seen in. But that issue has been addressed and was happy with the facility.

A 3 hour wait for a 5 minute physical exam is unacceptable. Staffing the center with only one Provider is careless. The male manager I saw interact with many patients while I was waiting was rude to the patients. He needs to brush up on customer service skills. I give this place one star for not staffing appropriately and for lack of customer service to the patients I saw the manager interact with.

I came In 30 min prior to closing for a urine specimen for pre employment and first impression was bad. No greeting and rude. Person dressed in regular clothes said they were getting ready to close and would have to see if I could be seen. I told her you close in 30min. She said yes well we just have to see if anyone is available to see you.. Mind you this is urine specimen. And I’m a nurse at Hoag.. So I sat and waited and when the person who called me back opened the door. She said ok we can see you now.. I look at her like who are you taking to me or the other two people waiting…. Really bad work ethics all around from start to finish… would not ever recommend. It looks like a hole in the wall as it is, i would hope the service provided would compensate for that but it did not.,

Visiting concentra was the worst experience I have ever had visiting a clinic. The communication between doctors and staff was horrible. I was referred there by amazon for a work place related injury to my knee, and it took me almost 1 month to be seen. I had to visit the office 5 times before being seen once. Mainly because they said I had exhibted symptoms after being sick over a week ago did they tell me to return 7 days later. However, a doctor twice called me saying that since I was vaccinated I could return the next day. When i went bafk the next day they told me I still had to wait 7 days before returning, but did not inform the doctor about this. I know because after I left the doctor called me to reschedule an appointment for 2 days later. Concentra was very unprofessional, rude, and wasted my time and money (because I had to take time away from work for each visit). If i could give 0 stars I would.

I called twice to tell them my condition and told them I might have fractured my arm not sure. I came they took my info...my insurance ...took xrays...I told them I was in pain. They never accessed me upfront or was concerned with my pain...they had me wait for 3 hours then stand up take several xrays with pain then the machine was not working I did not have a CD to give to ER at hoag ...they had to retake the xrays all over again. Urgent care diagnosed me with a fracture and ER said I had a shoulder dislocation. I have no idea about what to do..thats there job to access their patientTo make an extra effort to care about other people. They do not care...their service is terrible. Ive been coming to Concetra for almost a month due to a injury at work and they have been nothing but kind, helpful, and actively listen to what Im saying. The chiropractor is excellent, Im just sorry my insurance changed and can no longer see him. The wait can be long, but it was well worth it due to the staffs professionalism.

The staff was polite for the most part, but thats where their praise ends. This company cant seem to grasp the process of billing insurance(or just continue to lose insurance information). They continue to send me a billing statement 8 months after the doctor visit. Ive tried clearing up this issue in person at this location as well as over the phone several times. Hopefully my latest call will have made some progress in this effort to resolve my billing. I would avoid this location or really any U.S. HealthWorks for that matter.

We have been going back and forth with their billing department for over a year about an urgent care visit balance of what should have been $10! They were incapable of dealing with our insurance company so I had to act as the middleman. I have had to explain to them where to send the claim even though it is clearly stated on the back of our insurance card, and corrected them on balances they sent to us because they didn’t match the insurance explanation of benefits we were both given. After everything was finally as it should be after many e-mails and phone calls, I made the ($10!) payment on the day we received the bill but they still had a collection agency call us about the payment a week after our payment! This was the most frustrating experience I have ever had with any urgent care or medical office.

I initially gave this location a positive review because they were very timely. However, they lost the drug screening sample and blamed it on the lab. Excuse after excuse was offered, however the lab proved that the FedEx tracking number they provided as proof that the sample was sent was shown to not contain the sample as the lab clearly records all contents. Even the lab was disgusted with them. Use someone else right away, they’ll just lose your samples here and you will end up doing it twice anyway.

Ive been told by their billing services that I had to pay the full amount of services received when I used my insurance for it and I paid for a $10 copay. They barely sent a claim to Blue Shield 3 MONTHS AFTER the service date and are asking me to still pay because apparently they cant find the claim when I remember physically walking there to get a prescription for an antibiotic. Why are you saying that I have to pay for a visit that apparently didnt occur when I remember it did? Fire the reception people. The only person that was useful and helpful was Chelsey.
