Omar took me in as a first time buyer and made my first PC buying process, simple, understandable, and affordable. Omar at Computer World HB is friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to the computers he sells. I first went to this store to repair my daughter’s laptop and unfortunately it was beyond repair. Omar did offer a few options that are comparable in specs, and he does not try to up sell you on a computer that is not needed. Their prices are below other stores and even Amazon in my case which is a win in my book. He offers warranties on the products he sells, which is another win. I will be back whenever I need a new computer for sure and will recommend this store to my friends or family. So, if you’re in need of a computer you need to go see Omar. If you’re in the market for a custom-built rig, Omar is your guy. His computers are beautifully assembled, and his wire management is on point.

I should have read the reviews prior but was referred by the phone place next door who have always been great.Bout a gaming PC for my son in cash due to them telling me if I paid card there would be a $50 processing fee. Took it home set it up, they said it was just built yet the inside was dirty. I told them it was for Fortnite and they said it would work great. It downloaded the game but lags. They said it now requires an upgraded graphic card that they want to charge hundreds of dollars more.The guy I bought it from was really nice and helpful but hasn’t been in since and everyone else is the complete opposite. Warranty didn’t help and won’t let me return, much more going on with too much to text. Pay more for the right thing and always by card.

I went looking for a used computer to setup for my Dad and discovered Computer World HB. Omar helped me pick out a used iMac in great condition for a good price. He also took time to show me how I can setup guest accounts etc. I really enjoyed speaking with Omar about the company and how they have grown in just 5 years. I will be referring others to this great computer store.

Sent my grandsons computer in for repairs. they took the computer and half my money and now the store is closed. call the HB location Mark was supposed to meet me at the Norwalk Location with the computer. He never showed up. Now he is not answering my calls. My grandson is 16 a uses is computer to develope gaming software. He is really stoping my Grandson to do business and make his money. if I could I would give them zero stars.

Don’t trust these guys they’re a bunch of scamming rats. They sold me a MacBook Pro 15 inch back in 2022 which has always said “This MacBook can be remotely managed by este lauder companies” I contacted them to see what it meant and they told me this laptop was most likely stolen and to contact the place I got it from to get it fixed or pay me back for what I paid which was over $900. MOE, ALBERT, OMAR you’re all a bunch of rats. I just spoke to the “OWNER” of the business and he said “what are you gonna do about it, the laptop has already been resold, you can’t do anything ACIMA already paid us for it.” Don’t buy for them they’re a bunch of scamming rats save your money stay away from them and from their location in Norwalk.

After several days of not hearing from him I was called and informed by OMAR that I could pick my computer up from the shop I went immediately being as it was outside of store hours and he had just threatened to throw it in the garbage, came to find he had left it outside where it could have easily been stolen. OMAR is both a bad person and a crook take your business elsewhere.There is an engineer who is there only on mondays it seems his name is Moe and he is a fantastic person only OMAR is bad

I was referred to Computer world in HB and all I can say is I will become their next referral source. I just upgraded to a new TV the night before and my computer died that evening I was on a tight budget and specifically needed iMac. From the first meet through the purchase, they have been great! You can tell Mo really understands computers and takes pride in his work. I had an issue a month later, minor technical difficulty, but majorly on me. They were more than happy to not only look at the computer I purchased they were also willing and very accommodating to give me the computer that I wanted nobody does that anymore. They do from quick response times to the couple times I’ve had to call them back to affordable options and good products. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I was so impressed that I actually gave him the computer that died to see if he could fix it so I can give it to my son, I certainly would recommend Computer World do anyone . Their customer service is not so great..... only two people I spoke to were nice which was the manager Mohammed and another tech I do not know his name..... cant say anything about their builds because as soon as I got mine it came damaged its about to be a month since I filed a claim with them and they have not been able to get me a new pc.... so they warranty sucks in my opinion.... they said they are on the customers side but I dont think so, I shouldnt have to wait almost a month to get a replacement I do not recommend this store or this compan bad experience, try digital storm they are in California also and their customer service are on point. Just placed my order with them and they are taking good care of me....FILE A BBB COMPLAINT AGAINST THIS BUSINESS ITS TRASH AND FRAUDS!!!!

SCAMMERS! Terrible service, technician is never there, nobody is ever there. They lied about what was wrong or just probably had no clue! Don’t leave your electronics there, they will just sit there. Told me it would be fixed tomorrow then told me tomorrow the next day and the next. Went and got it fixed somewhere professional and they told me they lied about what was wrong. I deal mostly with PC and Mac as well as software engineering. Anytime I have needed a second look on hardware or to get a great deal on a Mac I have gone here . Omar is especially awesome to work with and just recently got a client set up with an exceptional deal on a MacBook and monitor combo.Very happy with the service we received from Omar and he helped us from the moment we walked in and beyond, even helped us with our equipment to our vehicle! My daughter has a disability so we wanted to try giving her computer to use to learn with, we called several computer repair shops to get a price to fix and update our old iMac they all were charging a ridiculous amount of money including Best Buy!when I called computer world I spoke with Omar and I explained to him the situation with my daughters Disability and he was extremely caring and understanding and wanting to help, not only did he give us a great price but he did an amazing job.he went above and beyond and upgraded our computer so it ran faster and more efficiently and doesn’t get hot anymore.I can’t thank him enough!these guys are the best!I highly recommend them!

Saw a laptop I wanted on offer up and spoke with the gentleman at the Norwalk location. He referred me to the Huntington Beach location since that was closer to my location. I worked with Omar and he had some much knowledge about all the computers they had at the location. He helped me pick out exactly what I needed and the pricing was much better than the other locations I had previously been to. Would definitely go back if I was in the market for another computer. I originally brought my dead Lenova Yoga to Computer World HB in hopes that they might have a miracle up their sleeves. Unfortunately no such miracles could be performed; however, I did end up purchasing a Surface Pro Go laptop for a fraction of the price of replacing the original Lenova Yoga. Is it a refurbished product? Probably; but so what? Computer World warrantees the device for 1-year and Im writing this review on a device that looks, feels, and behaves like a brand new device and Im content with that.Im reading some of these negative reviews with a heavy dose of side-eye. I interacted with Omar for roughly an hour while he was installing the upgraded OS and he could not have been more pleasant to talk with. He was courteous, knowledgeable, forthcoming, and seemingly eager-to-please. Other stores may have been within their rights to charge me for things like: a diagnostic fee. An old device to new device data transfer fee. Or an e-waste disposal fee for the dead device that I gave them (minus the hard drive). Not only that but Omar told me that if I could find my Bitlocker code he would transfer the data from my old hard drive to my new one free of charge.These gestures were not lost on me. He could have squeezed me with nuisance fees as many other establishments tend to do but he chose to go above and beyond and provided excellent customer service. It turns out that it was a smart move on his part because I plan on bringing all of my future computer/device repairs and service back to the Computer World HB.Thank you, Omar!

They dont even do proper cable management..... dont come here you will be robbed..... hmthey dont care about customers....once they cell you the pc and of somwthings happens to it thats it your done!!! We had a computer malfunction and needed help right away. We went there on Sunday Im surprised that the store was opened and they were ready to help. I love dealing with smaller businesses cuz you can really feel the personal service. Albert was amazing... He showed us tons of options for computers and really knew his stuff. The prices are fair and the extended warranty is a big plus for us. Since Im a manager and customer service, this was really important for me. You really need to go see these guys!

Turned out that when I went, I found a great deal on on a used Macbook Air for a great price. Granted, these are used computers and theyre not perfect, but I found a perfect one for myself. Asked to have a gaming p.c made for christmas. Went in and had a 20min. Consultation regarding my needs and options. Never got a call or fallow up for the build ended up purchasing on online. Will still try and shop there in the future for repairs or upgrades. Its a independent spot would like to give them my money instead of big online retailers.

Great storefront. Nice selection of quality computers at low prices. I was in the market for a MacBook for some time but wasnt willing to drop thousands of dollars. Ziad helped me to find a very comprable machine for a fraction of the cost. Core i7, great battery health, its an older model but still very snappy. The charger seemed to have an issue but they switched it out right away, at no cost to me. There are also a lot of newer models at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend this place. Support local family owned business and shop where they care, will find you what you need, and the prices are great!

A bargain hunters dream. Found them on Craigslist and possibly OfferUp which led me to their brick and mortar spot. They post ads for used laptops and computers, but their stock likely changes frequently, so I wouldnt count on finding the exact model you find in an ad. I went in for a touch screen AIO computer i saw in an ad, but it was gone. Luckily they had another one and just my luck it was $100 less than the one i saw in the ad. Since i wasnt picky since Im just using it as an experiment as a kitchen touch screen in my restaurant, this was great news. I had a few questions and the guys were happy to help. They even went out of their way to unscrew the back piece to see if it was mountable to a VESA mount. They were super friendly and helpful to me and the two other customers they were helping when I walked in.Out of curiosity, I poked around their used macbooks. I just needed a replacement macbook to recover some old iphoto libraries and the cheapest reliable model I could find wouldve done the trick. They pointed me over to a stack of 2010-11 macbook pro 15s. $300. Score! this was the cheapest, no-hassle option Ive seen. Everything on craigslist was $500-600 for some sketchy dudes old, crusty laptop. This one was a little dingd up, but she still had plenty of usable life in her. I took it home and it was a dud. It shut off on me intermittently for no reason. I wouldve been worried that I got shafted but my purchasing experience earlier that day was so great, I just had a feeling theyd exchange it for a working one, no problem.Walked in the next day. Great! None of the guys working last night are there. This is going to suck. Nope! The guy holding down the fort called the guy who helped me the day before. I got put on the phone with him and explained my problem. He was out getting lunch but would be back in 5. I understand. Im a small business owner myself. Sure enough, he came back in, was super apologetic, very friendly. After seeing that my problem wasnt user error, he grabbed the next one off the stack and exchanged it for me on the spot.I also liked their service so much, I took a water damaged macbook air for them to have a look at. He seemed pretty straight up with me as far as likely costs, but had high hopes that its only a trackpad replacement. Hopefully, Ill post an updated review on how that goes.All in all, I probably saved somewhere in the ball park of $600 because i didnt buy a used ipad/AIO touch screen and a used macbook from somewhere else on craigslist. I ended up with two pretty decent computers for the price of a single brand new chrome book. Highly recommend.

Desktop cannot start, did a search and brought to this place and Omar and other gentleman ( sorry forget the name) checked the PC and fixed it on front of me and pointed the root of cause. I just walked into this place because I am looking to buy 2 different computers. A Mac desktop & a pc gaming desktop set up. The owner was clearly helping someone else so I was waiting, no issue with that. The owner clearly saw me and my partner walk in. Then an Asian couple walked in shortly after. Instead of helping or even acknowledging us the owner completely ignored us. And helped the Asian couple. I just walked out because that is completely unacceptable to be treated that way! Omar the manager needs to be retrained I spoke with the owner prior to arriving to the store claiming he will look at my items to see if its purchasable but when I arrived Anthony the owner was nowhere to be found instead I got duchbag Omar to check out the items I brought by the way didnt even bother to check them out and proceeded to mock my items claiming they were to old and compared them to the items he had which were the same quality I had new laptop screens hdds still in packaging and good brands too graphic cards and more but like I said he acted like if he was too good for my items 2 thumbs way down for this guy come on Anthony where were u and this guy making you look bad Im sure if you would of saw my stuff you would of definitely have bought some of it tis tis......
